I grew up in a house with several much loved and individual cats, so I suppose the most important thing to mention is that I understand the different needs and personalities in cats. One of our cats was a very insecure and timid cat who needed extra special care and patience, and that's the lovely Timmy who you can see in the picture. I have joined this website to make friends with some new felines, though as every cat lover knows, we are the 'chosen' ones, not the other way round. A high privilege indeed! I have my own very fluffy rescue cat, Karloff, who lives with me in SE12, so am used to cleaning litter trays, brushing and giving lots of love, as well as being quite fluent in miaow! I have a certificate in feline first aid and a recent clean DBS certificate which I am happy to bring along to our first meeting. I have been cat sitting professionally for over eight years now, and am glad to look after all sorts of cats from moggies to pedigrees. I seem to have a knack for getting even the shyest cats out of their shell! Giving medicine to cats orally is no problem, and I have even administered subcutaneous injections to a couple of diabetic cats I have looked after (not nearly as scary as I imagined). My prices are £20 for a daily visit (normally around 30 mins, but I will take my cue from your cat), £35 for two daily visits, or £70 for an overnight stay to look after a cat. I am responsible, trustworthy and mature, and can provide references attesting to this if required. Please also take a look at the many 5 star reviews I have recieved from my lovely clients on this site. I will look after your cat as if they are my own and send text, photo and video updates of them whilst you are away so you can see how they are getting on. If your cat needs someone to feed them, groom them, cuddle them, hunker down to watch cat tv with (yes, this is really a thing) or just drive bonkers with a catnip mouse, please do not hesitate to contact me. Always so relaxing to know that Michaela is looking after Ruby and Isla when we are away. We come home to two happy relaxed cats who have had a lovely time with Michaela. Meanwhile, we receive loads of photos and videos to enjoy :-)
We couldn’t be happier with the care our cats received from Michaela. They can be quite shy when people come to the flat, so it’s lovely to see how much they remember and trust her. From day one, both Lentil and Oreo were completely comfortable with her and clearly loved having her around. She kept us regularly updated, spent lots of time with them, and it was so reassuring knowing they were being looked after with so much love and attention. They were both relaxed and happy when we got home, and the flat was spotless after her stay. We always feel completely at ease when Michaela looks after them and would happily recommend her.
Michaela is fantastic, and always goes above and beyond for our two cats. One is very shy, yet she brings him out of his shell, this speaks volumes about her calm and patient approach. She is respectful of our flat, highly professional, and completely reliable. We always feel at ease knowing they are in her care. Highly recommended.
Michaela was fantastic as usual and we came home to two relaxed, happy and affectionate cats.
Ruby and Isla had a lovely time with Michaela over the weekend and we came home to two relaxed, chilled, happy kitties.
