I've had pets cats and dogs for as long as I can remember! My most recent experience is my gorgeous, gorgeous girl Labrador who sadly crossed the rainbow bridge at the end of October 2025 after over 13 years of loyal companionship. This one really hurt, I miss her so much everyday. I got her when she was 8 weeks old and she has been my shadow until the very end. I trained her and cared for her in her arthritic dotage, giving medicine, taking her out on short walks, making sure she was comfortable surrounded by her toys, and generally pampered to the very end. I am therefore deeply attuned to the needs of older dogs, including medication schedules, gentle exercise, and high-level emotional support. I provide calm and experience to your pet-sitting needs. My experience also includes many years of caring for cats, understanding their unique personalities and the importance of maintaining their home routines. I am a dedicated professional with a 20-year career in Education, including a decade serving as a Senior Lecturer at a London university. My background in academia has instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility, meticulous attention to detail, and the highest standards of professional conduct. I offer pet owners the same level of commitment and integrity I brought to my academic career. I now work from my laptop audio proofing French and English books and I am therefore a constant presence for those pets who do not like being left alone.

Another great sit. Came back to very happy dogs and a lovely clean flat. Fabienne is fantastic with all my dogs and especially my rescue Dolly who needs a lot of special attention, all of which Fabienne takes in her stride.
Fabienne took care of my 3 crazy frenchies whilst I was away on holiday. She took wonderful care of them, kept exactly to their routine, walking them in shifts and treated them as if they were her own. She was very communicative and even let them sleep in bed with her (like they do with me). I won’t hesitate to book again and my dogs will be looking forwarding to seeing her again!!
Fabienne was wonderful. Our two black labs were in the best hands. We got photos and full and fun updates every day. I know they will miss Fabienne! Thank you and please be on speed dial for all future dog sitting needs!!

Fabienne was brilliant. We have a fussy old (wonderful) dog who took immediately to Fabienne and enjoyed her walks cuddles and treats. We really enjoyed her daily photos and what they did together. I thoroughly recommend her (she stayed at ours for a week) and I’ll certainly be looking to see if she is free next time we are away and need doggy care.
Fabienne loves dogs and took good care of our anxious Jake. She stayed at our flat for 10 days and sent us updates about Jake and how they got along. Fabienne also looked after our flat at the same time and we came back to a clean flat.

Schedule
I work remotely as an audiobook proofer so I'm available all day to care for your pets. I am very flexible so happy to follow any set routine.

- As mentioned above, you know your dog best and having as much information about them is very important. As far as I am concerned it is all about the dog (or cat), and the more we know about them the better we can care for them.
