About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them comes very naturally to me. I truly believe pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and respect I would give my own. I’ve spent many years around both dogs and cats of different breeds, ages, and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet as an individual. Some love long walks and playtime, some prefer quiet companionship and cuddles—and I always adapt to what makes them feel happiest and safest. My husband grew up around dogs and has never gone more than a year in his life without owning one. Ask him, and he'll say a house isn't a home without a dog! We'll welcome your dog into our home and treat them like our own. They're welcome on the furniture and will get as many walks as they need. Our Pepper is always happy to make a furry friend. ***If you’re new to Rover, first-time bookings with me get a £30 discount, and your pet will get plenty of love while you’re away! To claim the offer, simply use this referral link: https://www.rover.com/sit/basakm78087 I'm currently enjoying a career break, which means I have plenty of time to devote to your fur baby! Your dog is welcome to join our Pepper on her daily walks, and I offer boarding 7 days a week. My husband works full-time in the city but is always about to give a helping hand in the evenings and on weekends. Our home is surrounded by beautiful parks that I love exploring with our own dog on daily walks. The flat itself is super pet-friendly, and our dog and three cats are always happy to make furry friends. Our own dog is crate-trained, but there is no need for yours to be. All pets are welcome on the furniture and treated like family as soon as they step through the door.
About: I've looked after lots of wonderful dogs over the years, and one of my favourite things is getting to know their unique personalities. Every dog is different, from playful and energetic pups to gentle senior dogs and those who need a little extra patience because they're anxious or shy. I understand how important it is to tailor my care to each dog's individual needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while they're with me. I'm truly passionate about making sure every four-legged friend is loved, well cared for, and treated like part of the family when they're away from their owners. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else's care, and I always do everything I can to make them feel relaxed, secure, and loved. I'm always happy to chat about any specific routines, preferences, or needs your pup may have, and I look forward to making some new furry friends! I work from home three days a week, so when I'm available for pet care, your dog will enjoy plenty of company, attention, and regular breaks for walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. At weekends, I love exploring the local parks on long walks before relaxing in my little front garden - it's the perfect spot for a furry companion to enjoy some fresh air and sunshine alongside me. A day with me for your pet will always involve lots of love, care, and companionship. I live on my own in a cosy ground-floor flat with a secure garden, providing a calm and comfortable environment for your furry friend.
“This was Khloe’s second visit with Diana, and the moment we pulled into her driveway, Khloe knew exactly where she was and started dragging me to the door. When she walked inside, she could barely contain herself—her little tail wagging a mile a minute, clearly so happy to see Diana. It was truly beautiful to see how comfortable and excited Khloe was to be there. When I went to pick her up, she didn’t want to leave, which honestly says everything.”

“Another lovely day Chester had with Maira! He really enjoys spending time with her and her dog Chunks. The pictures speak for themselves. Maira as usual gave us a thorough update on how Chester was and activities they did providing us comfort that he has been looked after☺️ Thank you very much for taking care of our little rascal🙏🏻😊”

“Monty had a fantastic time with Wai and Peter and their dog, Enzo. Very friendly family, and they sent lots of great videos and photos of Monty throughout the day. Thank you!”

“Victoria was an absolute delight! From the moment we met her, her friendly and professional demeanor put both my partner and me at ease. Our little Miniature Schnauzer took an instant liking to her, which was a good sign. Throughout our time away, Victoria kept us well-informed about how our little dog was doing. Her updates were timely and reassuring. We appreciate Victoria’s care and attention to detail. It’s evident that she genuinely loves dogs and treats them like family. We highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter. Our Miniature Schnauzer can’t wait for the next time Victoria comes over! Thank you, Victoria, for taking such great care of our little Bunny! 🐾”

About: I have been caring for dogs my entire life, and my love for animals goes beyond just dogs—I’ve had cats as well. What sets me apart is my deep, lifelong dedication. I have a special skill for working with dogs to help them reach a calm, relaxed, and enjoyable state. No matter their age or energy level, I tailor each walk and session to their needs, ensuring every pup feels safe, happy, and loved I only offer pet care on weekends, as that’s when I have the most flexibility. I live right next to the woods, so I can take the dogs out for long, refreshing walks, giving them plenty of exercise and exploration. I care for pets in a secure, fenced garden where they can play safely. My home is child- and dog-friendly, so all the pets feel welcome, loved, and ready for fun!
“It’s been a great experience. It worked for us a first time experience and it was great. Anna has been kind, attentive and understanding. We’re relieved we can have someone local to count on for pet sitting .”

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs for over 20 years and have gained the necessary skills and knowledge to offer pets the highest level of care. I am first aid qualified and experienced in dealing with dogs in all sizes and temperaments. I am available for dog walking and boarding any time of the week, 7 days a week. Please contact me to organise bookings early to avoid disappointment. I have a lovely home where I allow dogs to relax on the sofa and have full use of our spacious fenced garden. We have a friendly cavapoo dog of our own who loves having company.

“My miniature dachshund Winnie spent a very enjoyable day with Daniela whilst I went to the office. Winnie suffers from a bit of separation anxiety so it is always nerve wracking leaving her with someone new but Daniela’s warm nature automatically put us both at ease and Winnie settled in record time after I left. Daniela is very communicative and I was assured Winnie was in safe hands - she even managed to get Winnie to go for a walk when she has recently been refusing to go due to getting spooked so it is obvious Winnie felt safe and secure too. Winnie was in great spirits when I picked her up and is looking forward to spending the day with Daniela again! Would 100% recommend Daniela for your dog sitting needs.”

“Tia spent the day with Shivani for the second time and had such a great day! She was so excited to see her again which was really reassuring for me. Shivani took her on a little adventure to Lullingstone and send videos of them having the best time! Tia isn’t a fan of other dogs and Shivani always takes this into consideration when taking her out and finds spots for Tia to have fun without loads of other dogs around. So glad to have found Shivani and I fully trust her to take care of Tia :)”

“Very happy to have found Colin. He looked after Buddy today for the first time. I dropped off my very hyper dog and returned to collect a very chilled and relaxed dog who seemed totally content in Colins home. He took him out for 2 walks and was attentive in his care of Buddy. I have happily rebooked Colin for next week and would definitely recommend his service.”

“Jonathan was superb throughout the first daycare booking with my dog, Donna. She can be quite nervous with new people and places, and Jonathan’s calm approach was perfect. Jonathan brought professionalism and passion, asking lots of questions at our pre meet to ensure he knew as much as possible about my dog, and his communication was great throughout. I would highly recommend Jonathan and we look forward to seeing him soon!”

“Sarah was very friendly with Alfie, he looked very comfortable with her. We are very grateful for accepting our last minute request. Sarah also posted some videos of Alfie which was reassuring and thought him some commands to follow. Would definitely recommended her.”

“Chester spent a day with Tiago and Ted. Tiago was very responsive and updated through the day how Chester was doing giving us comfort to know he has been looked after. He took a great care of Chester and was considerate of the weather conditions to make sure that he was hydrated enough with only one walk in the woods. Chester was happy and very tired as was playing with Ted a lot. We will definitely to use Tiago's day care again. Thank you very much for looking after our little rascal☺️”

“Emily was flexible, kind and gave Rufus an AMAZING day. He was absolutely pooped when he got home and her pictures of it were both lovely and really funny! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. thank you Emily x”

About: I have owned dogs all my life and I am pleased to be able to offer a boarding and walking service for you in our warm and loving home. I have been offering boarding and dog walking for many years. You are welcome to come and take a look at our cosy welcoming environment. A daily relaxation live piano music sessions is available for all our boarders (initiated this summer by my daughter). I have looked after puppies and older dog alike. I am able to board up to 3-4 dogs but do contact me if your dog has any specific needs. We are a family home and have 2 children here to keep dogs company and to love them so very dearly. We have found from personal experience that, if they are used to having children in their lives this is rather comforting whilst you are away from them. We love walks in the open spaces near us and have a car to transport all our visiting fur friends if needed further afield. Our boarders will be walked regularly on a daily basis but if you need a specific routine do discuss this with me. I am experienced with off lead dogs that can be recalled however am happy to keep your dog on the lead during walks if you are more comfortable with that (or if your dog cannot be recalled yet). Contact me to discuss more about your dogs needs and maybe arrange a visit to see if we are the right environment for your pet. We welcome you to meet us first in a local park then if feasible arrange a visit to get a feel for the environment your dog will be staying in. I look forward to providing your dog with a loving temporary home whilst you are away. My doggy daycare price covers between the following hours: 9am- 5pm. If you need longer or to stay out of these hours do contact me and I would be happy to discuss this with you. We are also happy to discuss pricing for regular boarders/clients. I am home most of the day, so have undivided attention for the pets in my care. I do work 1 day a week (adhoc) from home but this doesn't cause any disruptions. Dogs are free to roam and cuddle up, if your dog has a crate sleeping routine we can accommodate this. If you could bring your crate and comfort items that smell of home that would be ideal for your pet whilst away from home. We have a minature dachshund here with a BIG personality to keep your pet company.
“Milo loved Ellie and Twiggy, he was a happy camper. He enjoyed the walks, snuggles and had a blast playing with Twiggy. Came home tired everyday but excited to go out again the next day. He actually ran up to the door as we turned round the corner. Thanks for taking care of Milo 😊”

Tiago is a wonderful carer for our Cocker Spaniel puppy, Vanilla. He is naturally warm, nurturing, and caring, and he genuinely adores dogs. We always know that Vanilla will have the best time when she is in his care. His dog, Ted, is beautiful, gentle, and incredibly well-behaved. Vanilla loves spending time with him and is always excited to see him again. Tiago provides regular updates and shares beautiful photos, which gives us great peace of mind. He is also attentive to our instructions and consistently follows Vanilla’s routines, habits, and care requirements. We feel incredibly grateful to have found Tiago and Ted, as well as his kind and welcoming neighbours. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

This was Ginger’s first time at doggy daycare, and Xiyang was so attentive and caring with her. Ginger is a very timid and shy dog around new people, but Xiyang made her feel comfortable from the start. They sent me lots of photos and videos throughout the day and were very responsive both before and during the booking, which gave me so much peace of mind. Ginger ended up leaving happy and had a wonderful time playing with Coco. I couldn’t have asked for a better first daycare experience for her. Highly recommend!

Bailey had a great first stay with Juliana and Daniel. They are both very knowledgeable about dogs and sent me plenty of updates. Bailey had so much fun playing with their dog Mango. I could relax on my day out knowing he was in safe hands. Bailey can't wait to come back!

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Greater London may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
