“This was Khloe’s second visit with Diana, and the moment we pulled into her driveway, Khloe knew exactly where she was and started dragging me to the door. When she walked inside, she could barely contain herself—her little tail wagging a mile a minute, clearly so happy to see Diana. It was truly beautiful to see how comfortable and excited Khloe was to be there. When I went to pick her up, she didn’t want to leave, which honestly says everything.”

“Maira has been absolutely amazing with Monty! He’s loved his stays so far and is looking forward to more. Maira is really lovely and keeps me updated through the day with messages and photos. Monty has enjoyed lots of playtime, cuddles, walks and naps. Thank you Maira, would highly recommend!”

“My miniature dachshund Winnie spent a very enjoyable day with Daniela whilst I went to the office. Winnie suffers from a bit of separation anxiety so it is always nerve wracking leaving her with someone new but Daniela’s warm nature automatically put us both at ease and Winnie settled in record time after I left. Daniela is very communicative and I was assured Winnie was in safe hands - she even managed to get Winnie to go for a walk when she has recently been refusing to go due to getting spooked so it is obvious Winnie felt safe and secure too. Winnie was in great spirits when I picked her up and is looking forward to spending the day with Daniela again! Would 100% recommend Daniela for your dog sitting needs.”

About: I've looked after lots of wonderful dogs over the years, and one of my favourite things is getting to know their unique personalities. Every dog is different, from playful and energetic pups to gentle senior dogs and those who need a little extra patience because they're anxious or shy. I understand how important it is to tailor my care to each dog's individual needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while they're with me. I'm truly passionate about making sure every four-legged friend is loved, well cared for, and treated like part of the family when they're away from their owners. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else's care, and I always do everything I can to make them feel relaxed, secure, and loved. I'm always happy to chat about any specific routines, preferences, or needs your pup may have, and I look forward to making some new furry friends! I work from home three days a week, so when I'm available for pet care, your dog will enjoy plenty of company, attention, and regular breaks for walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. At weekends, I love exploring the local parks on long walks before relaxing in my little front garden - it's the perfect spot for a furry companion to enjoy some fresh air and sunshine alongside me. A day with me for your pet will always involve lots of love, care, and companionship. I live on my own in a cosy ground-floor flat with a secure garden, providing a calm and comfortable environment for your furry friend.
“Sarah was very friendly with Alfie, he looked very comfortable with her. We are very grateful for accepting our last minute request. Sarah also posted some videos of Alfie which was reassuring and thought him some commands to follow. Would definitely recommended her.”

“Maisie couldn’t wait to see Shivani again! This doesn’t usually happen. The moment she realised where we were heading, her tail went into overdrive, and she was bursting with happiness and excitement. If that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know, I don’t know what will. It said so much about how wonderful Shivani is with her, and how much Maisie absolutely adores spending time with her. Thank you for taking such lovely care of her again ☺️🐶☺️”

“Enza absolutely loves her stays with Anna and James! Anna provided regular updates and some photos too, which was lovely to see. Enza settles in very quickly, probably due to Anna’s lovely warm nature! Thank you both for looking after Enza this evening - we would highly recommend☺️”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them comes very naturally to me. I truly believe pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and respect I would give my own. I’ve spent many years around both dogs and cats of different breeds, ages, and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet as an individual. Some love long walks and playtime, some prefer quiet companionship and cuddles—and I always adapt to what makes them feel happiest and safest. My husband grew up around dogs and has never gone more than a year in his life without owning one. Ask him, and he'll say a house isn't a home without a dog! We'll welcome your dog into our home and treat them like our own. They're welcome on the furniture and will get as many walks as they need. Your dog is welcome to join our Pepper on her daily walks, and I offer boarding 7 days a week. My husband works full-time in the city but is always about to give a helping hand in the evenings and on weekends. Our home is surrounded by beautiful parks that I love exploring with our own dog on daily walks. The flat itself is super pet-friendly, and our dog and three cats are always happy to make furry friends. Our own dog is crate-trained, but there is no need for yours to be. All pets are welcome on the furniture and treated like family as soon as they step through the door.

Sophie was great, taking a late booking, planning the day out with Willow, and sending us an update of the day. Her communication was excellent, and it was so reassuring to know Willow was in such good hands. Willow had a lovely time, and we really appreciated how organised and thoughtful Sophie was. Thank you – we’d be very happy to book with you again!

This was Ginger’s first time at doggy daycare, and Xiyang was so attentive and caring with her. Ginger is a very timid and shy dog around new people, but Xiyang made her feel comfortable from the start. They sent me lots of photos and videos throughout the day and were very responsive both before and during the booking, which gave me so much peace of mind. Ginger ended up leaving happy and had a wonderful time playing with Coco. I couldn’t have asked for a better first daycare experience for her. Highly recommend!

Bailey had a great first stay with Juliana and Daniel. They are both very knowledgeable about dogs and sent me plenty of updates. Bailey had so much fun playing with their dog Mango. I could relax on my day out knowing he was in safe hands. Bailey can't wait to come back!

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Greater London may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
