“Kevin is an excellent dog sitter and his children are great with our dog too. Our dog seems happy and relaxed with him every time. We always receive updates with photos and videos, which is perfect. We had to book last minute (again, sorry) and he made himself available, so helpful (thank you again for that). Communication is great and he replies promptly every time. Highly recommend!”

“This was our dachshunds, Ruby and Romeo, first ever doggie day care experience .. as always trusting someone to take care of your loved fur babies is a big deal . Natalia was amazing with them , she really looked after them as if they were her own. Excellent communication, lots of beautiful photos throughout the day . They both had a great time and are looking forward to spending more time with Natalia, which is already booked . Thank you so much .”

“Lovely caring service as usual. We are always happy to leave Winnie with this family. It is sometimes difficult for me to say exact pick up times due to the nature and location of my hospital appointments and this has never been a problem for them. Winnie is always well cared for and today was given Milo’s food which she loved, when she refused to eat her own. She is a very crafty dog haha! Thank you Maurice and Frederick, see you again soon”

About: I’ve always been surrounded by dogs and absolutely love their unique personalities. I have plenty of experience caring for dogs, whether it’s pet sitting for family and friends or spending time with my own. I understand how important it is to meet a dog’s needs, from playtime to cuddles to daily walks. I’m reliable, attentive, and will treat your dog with the same love and care as if they were my own. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to enjoy with your fur baby. My part time is also flexible because I work from home so taking care of your pet it won’t be a problem I don’t have pets at home so there’s planty of it for your baby. I have park in front and also behind the building I live in where we can walk. I have no kids so it will be me at home. I have a cozy place and I am willing to follow any specific rule that you have for your pet.
About: I've always grown up with dogs and we have a dog female Boston Terrier at home. I started looking my friends dogs when they traveled abroad. A day a friend asked me why don’t do this a job ? I thought about and said “ you are right, why not “ . I'm used to dogs schedules and the good areas to walk (without driving unless consented too). I currently work all day with dogs, in which I have time to play, walk and pet them with love. I can also pick them up near my house. Available for walks or to host your pet in my house located near Dartford Central Park I have a fenced garden to your dog enjoy. Your pet will be welcome in our house, where I will take care with lots of love. Any question let me know. I would like to know about your dog's behaviour and preferences this is very important to make your dog happier. I would require the below before the day; - Allowed on the Furniture? (I'm happy to have dogs on the furniture but not if that's not allowed at there home) - Any current training that should be continued during the stay? - Food requirements and dog allergies? - Sleeping requirements (Crate/Dog bed) - Anything else to note I have a garden where your furry baby can be playing and enjoying. I live near parks where we can be walking and enjoying the day.
“Jacqueline was brilliant with our six month old puppy. With it being the first time he’d been left without us we were slightly nervous, but we were put at ease when meeting Jacqueline and we could see how happy he would be staying there. He loves playing with the other dogs and having the big garden to run around in. He had a great time and didn’t stop all day whilst he was there, which meant we had a very tired but happy puppy when we got home! Beau is looking forward to his next stay there :)”

About: Brief overview🐾: I am a caring and reliable dog lover with experience training a dog as a therapy pet, which has given me a strong understanding of dog behaviour and calm, positive handling. I provide safe, enjoyable, and tailored walks to suit each dog’s individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for at all times. 🐾About dog walking/dog sitting🐶: A typical walk starts with collecting your dog from your home and transporting them in my secure, padded car. The seats are separated with soft dividers for your dog’s comfort, and each dog is safely secured using a harness attachment. We then head to a suitable park or walking area. On warmer days, I choose routes with plenty of shade and ensure your dog has regular water breaks. I walk a maximum of two dogs at a time. If your dog has good recall, we’ll enjoy off-lead play, such as fetch, where appropriate and with your permission. Alternatively, if you wish, I can help improve your dog’s recall using positive reinforcement. I use homemade cooked chicken as high-value training treats unless you advise me of any dietary requirements or allergies. While your dog is out enjoying their walk and learning new skills, I will send you regular, high-quality photo updates so you can see how much fun they’re having. After the walk, I will safely return your dog home. If you choose my dog-sitting service, I can also collect and return your dog. During their stay, your dog will enjoy a minimum of three long walks each day, three nutritious meals (following your feeding routine), plenty of healthy treats, and lots of play, enrichment, affection, and rest. About me🐾: have been caring for dogs, both privately and professionally, for as long as I can remember. I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to work with dogs and do something I genuinely love. I regularly undertake training in pet care to continually develop my knowledge and skills. I have trained dogs for therapy and assistance work and always enjoy learning new techniques to provide the very best care. Previously, I worked for Photoshoots London, and I now combine my photography experience with my passion for dogs. During visits, I provide fun, high-quality photo updates, and as a small thank you for choosing my services, you’ll receive a complimentary yearly calendar featuring your beloved pet. I hope you choose myself to look after your beloved pets I can provide discounts for longer stays and for regular dog walks. I look forward to hearing from you. Best wishes Gabriela 🐾 Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine as a real priority, and I am fully dedicated to it. I am currently part-time studying, which gives me the flexibility and time to reliably commit to dog walking and pet care responsibilities. I am able to plan my schedule around pet care needs, including regular walks, home visits, and ensuring consistency for both pets and owners. I enjoy being active and organised, so I can easily balance my studies while providing dependable and attentive care for animals throughout the week. I always prioritise safety, trust, and a calm environment when caring for pets. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully and respect their home, routines, and preferences. I use calm, patient handling and positive reinforcement to help pets feel secure and comfortable. During walks, I keep dogs safe, stay aware of surroundings, and adjust care to suit each pet’s individual needs.

About: I’ve been a devoted Maltese owner for over 15 years and recently had two boys and one girl. Dogs are truly family to me, and I understand the love, patience, and routine they need. I’m very experienced with Maltese care and grooming, keeping their coats tangle-free and well maintained. I’m currently living pet-free in an apartment and work from home daily, so I have plenty of time to give your dog attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. With regular walks in the nearby park, playtime, cuddles, and a calm, loving environment, your dog will be treated like my own — safe, happy, and loved. 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I work from home, so I’m present and available throughout the day. Walks are built into my morning and afternoon schedule, along with playtime, feeding, grooming when needed, and plenty of cuddles and attention. Because I’m home most of the time, your dog will never feel alone and will be part of a calm, loving environment with consistent care and supervision every day. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment for pets in my home, with constant supervision since I work from home. Your dog will have regular walks, playtime, feeding on schedule, and plenty of attention. I also help with basic grooming and coat maintenance when needed. If caring in a pet owner’s home, I follow your pet’s routine and instructions closely, including feeding, walks, and any special care requirements.
“I just want to thank Ferdinand and his family for looking after Milo so well. “Ronnie was in such good hands with Hanna. She entertained him all afternoon and he didn't want to leave. Hanna sent regular updates and took the time to get to know him and make him feel at home. Couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend.”

“David was absolutely wonderful with our dogs. Lovely chatty guy, very friendly, would send lots of pics of the girls so I could see what they were up to. He even went over and above the call of duty taking 1 of them to the vet and looking after them afterwards with all the annoyances that go with that! Very caring person (his wife is lovely too!) Lives right near Battersea park so perfect for walks. Ours stayed overnight 1 night, the rest Mon - Friday day care, gave him keys to pick up and drop the dogs back. I would certainly leave the dogs with him again, no question. Would 100% reccommend.”

We look after our family dogs and also our friends dogs when needed. We have cared for younger and older dogs and have a range of experience. We both currently work full time, however Elen works from home. So any pet would be cared for and have company during the day too if they were boarding with us. We have a park just around the corner for walks during the day too. We have a fenced garden with decking and a grassed area, we have room if you rather your dog be in a crate, your dog will also be allowed in any part of the house, upstairs or downstairs they can roam free and make themselves at home.

About: I have an extensive history of working with dogs. I have owned working therapy dogs and have been working at a dog sanctuary for the past 2 years, handling dogs from all walks of life and all sizes. Dogs give so much love voluntarily and deserve that back. I insist dogs are walked for a good few mikes daily unless medically incapable. I will ensure they are fed to your specification and will follow any behavioural instructions you may have in place to ensure continuity. I am open to any questions you may have or to alleviate any concerns you may have. I am freely available for any pet care needs all I ask is for the advanced notice stated. I also have to collect my son from school on a Wednesday and every other Friday so the dog would need to be ok for a short period of time alone. I have a gated garden and a big field and woods near by. I can crate your dog if required. I am flexible and will work around your needs. If boarding, then dog/cat would need to be dropped and collected from my property.

Mateja and her family were superb with socks and made his first day away from home THE BEST! He was given the most amazing care from the get go and Mateja was so kind at updating me constantly throughout the day. We can’t wait to book socks in for another doggy day care date 🫶

Amanda took amazing care of my lurcher, Bertie. I could tell instantly how much Amanda loved dogs, even letting him lounge on her bed, his favourite thing 🩷 I felt so reassured leaving him in her care and she kept me really updated with pics of their walk. I would recommend Amanda 100% and will definitely be using her again.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
