Lexi had a fantastic day with Tamer and Odie. She went on a lovely walk with them and we got lots of photo updates and a little video which really helped put our minds at rest. Tamer was wonderful with her and we knew she was in safe hands with a real dog person. We are really looking forward to re-booking with them both.

About: I have loved cats and dogs since I was a child but only when settled in my own home after university did I feel settled enough to start to care for my own cats and dogs. Now I have the time to care for other pets and make them part of our family while they are here. I have a 4 year old Lab Retriever and two cats who both know how to live with dogs. Now that I have retired I have all the time in the world to devote to looking after my pets and yours. Your dog can become part of our family and share in all the care and attention I have a medium sized fully fenced in garden and plenty of room for the pets to find a quiet space if they need it or they are welcome to jump on the sofa for a cuddle.

Katie was FAB!!! Very accomodating to a very last minute request and excellent comms throughout the process. The minute we got there Ollie took to her straight away with no hesitation (always a good sign!) and she put me at ease immediately asking about Ollies needs etc. It was Ollies 1st time but he seemed to have an awesome day with her. Thank you so much for your care and understanding of Ollie. I cannot recommend her high enough and we shall definately be repeating when needed.

About: I’ve always loved dogs, maybe a little dog mad if you ask my friends and family! I grew up helping to raise our family dog, and since buying my own home, I’ve welcomed a little pup of my own who has been the greatest joy. I have lots of experience with dog sitting after using borrow my doggy a while before deciding to get our own. Now Pepper is older and trained, I am ready to accept more furry friends into our life. I also have a strong understanding of different dog breeds, their individual traits, behaviours and specific care and exercise needs. Because of our lovely Pepper, I can only accept dogs that are good with other dogs, especially younger dogs. I feel lucky to be self-employed who works from home, which means I get to spend most of my day with my dog! It's something I’m incredibly grateful for. It also gives me the flexibility and free time to help other dog owners who need someone they can trust to care for their pup while they’re busy, at work or away. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person looking after your dog. I’ll treat every pup that stays with me as if they were my own, with plenty of attention, affection, walks, playtime and, of course, cuddles. I also have a strong understanding of dog training and enjoy reinforcing good behaviour and basic training in a positive, consistent way. My aim is to provide a relaxed, loving home-from-home where your dog can feel safe, happy and part of the family while they’re with me. ❤️ Being self-employed and working from home means I can structure my day in a way that works around the dogs in my care. I’m an early bird, so we’re usually up and outside early for walks and fresh air. I love being outdoors, and we’re fortunate to have access to secure parks and open fields nearby, which means my own pup gets plenty of exercise, stimulation and fulfilment throughout the day and any dogs staying with me would be included in that routine if they are able. This flexibility also means I can easily adapt my schedule to suit each dog’s needs, whether that’s regular walks, playtime, toilet breaks or just quiet company throughout the day. I’m very much a home girl, so dogs are never left alone for long periods. I want every dog staying with me to feel safe, comfortable and completely at home. I have a secure garden where dogs can enjoy plenty of fresh air, playtime and regular toilet breaks throughout the day, and as I work from home, I’m able to keep a close eye on them and give them lots of company and attention. For walks, I have 3 different length leads, so I can adapt depending on each dog and their needs. If your dog’s recall isn’t quite there or you simply aren’t comfortable with them being off lead, that’s absolutely fine they can still have plenty of freedom to sniff, explore and enjoy their walks while staying safely on a longer lead. I also have my own friendly Cavapoo - Pepper , so visiting dogs will have a little companion to keep them company. I’ll always make sure introductions are comfortable and take each dog’s personality and boundaries into consideration. There are plenty of dog beds around the house for when they want some quiet time, although dogs are very much part of the family in my home so they’re more than welcome to curl up on the sofa with us too! I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, including feeding times, walks, medication and any other instructions you have. I’d also love to know all their little quirks, likes and dislikes so I can make their stay feel as familiar and relaxed as possible. I’m always happy to send photos and updates so you can see what your pup has been getting up to and know they’re safe, happy and being well looked after.

About: I am a very experienced Dog Owner and Dog Sitter...... I have always grown up with Dogs also my whole life.. I have looked after and Dog Sat many different Small and Medium sized dogs....... I have a lovely home (House) with access to back Garden which is securely fensed. I live in a lovely village which is surrounded by x2 different lovely Parks, available for walks and amazing scenery also for the Dogs. 🥰⭐🦮 I also have our own little fur baby Tinkerbell, who is used to other Dogs but generally very shy anyway, so my dog does her own thing in our home and comes out of her little Hooded Bed when she feels like it for cuddles 🥰 I have had experience with breeds such as Jackapoo, King Charles Cavalier, Chihuahuas and a few more. I am home full time currently, as I had to leave my Main Administrator Role in the Office due to recovering from Surgery. If your Dog is looking for a peaceful, safe and quiet home with beautiful surroundings, then I am for you 🥰🥰⭐ Full time at Home currently, after having to leave my Full Time Role in Admin due to Miscarriage Surgery. So I am home Monday to Friday and also every Sunday to make your Dog feel loved and super cared for . ⭐🥰🦮 Garden is fully fenced off and safe secure 💪 Access to Garden via my Conservatory. ⭐ Always make sure all Dogs looked after are felt at ease and welcome for every moment.💎

Febe looked after our dog Spud today and we couldn’t be happier! From the moment we met her, it was clear he was in safe hands. She was attentive and genuinely caring, and Spud took to her straight away. We really appreciated the updates and photos. It makes such a difference leaving your dog with someone who treats them as if they were their own. We would absolutely book with Febe again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, thoughtful and trustworthy care.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Malling on Rover is £28.75 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 13,044 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Malling. About 87% of Malling sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Malling commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
