About: I have loved cats and dogs since I was a child but only when settled in my own home after university did I feel settled enough to start to care for my own cats and dogs. Now I have the time to care for other pets and make them part of our family while they are here. I have a 4 year old Lab Retriever and two cats who both know how to live with dogs. Now that I have retired I have all the time in the world to devote to looking after my pets and yours. Your dog can become part of our family and share in all the care and attention I have a medium sized fully fenced in garden and plenty of room for the pets to find a quiet space if they need it or they are welcome to jump on the sofa for a cuddle.

Gabrielle looked after Dante for us while my husband ran the marathon. He had the best day with her and we could enjoy the day in London with no worries at all. She took him for walks and gave him bundles of attention all the pictures kept us up to date. Will definitely book again

Febe looked after our dog Spud today and we couldn’t be happier! From the moment we met her, it was clear he was in safe hands. She was attentive and genuinely caring, and Spud took to her straight away. We really appreciated the updates and photos. It makes such a difference leaving your dog with someone who treats them as if they were their own. We would absolutely book with Febe again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, thoughtful and trustworthy care.

Our girl Lil' Frances has been settling into her new home since 3 weeks. She’s a rescue dog and we were worried to leave her and how she would react. Luckily for us Frances and Gary had an amazing chemistry, she trusted him immediately. Gary is a true animal lover and we felt so confident in him. We’ll be sure to book again, a lovely kind man and now Frances and Gary are already best friends!

About: Hi I'm Ruth! I've always had family dogs, but recently I miss having fury friends around. We hated putting our family labradors in kennels, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone else! Had there been an alternative we would’ve used that in a heartbeat. I have a large 1/4 acre garden for your dog to charge around in, fully secure, and plenty of space indoors (I often look after wire haired vizlas, no dog is too big!) I’m here to offer a home from home service so you can have peace of mind when you are away. I work from home and have very few calls, so I can attend to all your dogs need. I can be present for the whole time your pet is here. I have plenty of fields around me so have lots of options to walk them. I can tailor needs as required. I will provide them with a warm and loving, safe environment. I will give your dog/s plenty of attention, and treat them as if they are my own. When I look after our old family dog (Amber, a fox red lab, soon turning 13!), I am diligent with giving her the medication she needs. And also tailor shorter walks for her bad arthritis. Naturally, I will do all the necessary things ie. feed them at the timings they are used to, ensure their water bowl is always full, let them out to the toilet as frequently as they require. Give them lots of love and play time. In short, I will look after your dog as if it's my own.

About: Aylesford village surrounded by fields and the countryside, I will only take one doggo on a given day for walks and home company for my dog. I work from home fairly flexibly & just visit a London office few times a month. I have a super friendly Sprocker Spaniel who has tons of energy or just rests waiting for us to go out. Without fail he gets at least 2.5 hours through two walks each day. It would be nice to give him some occasional company & just earn enough to cover my own dog care costs. Small fenced back garden. Dogs have run of ground floor and first floor. Company for my doggo and we will go out into the adjacent countryside twice daily.

About: Welcome! I am an experienced dog walker, sitter and boarder. I have looked after dogs with a range of needs including medical and nutritional. I have a back garden and access to two large parks in the area. I am caring, patient and professional. Speak soon! I am available most days and only work a couple of evenings a week. My husband works from home - so in the event I am at work, he is able to look after the animals also. He is experienced in pet sitting too and you will be able to meet him in a meet and greet. I treat them like a family member and I am intuitive to their needs. I will make sure they have lots of stimulation, affection (if wanted!), time to relax and exercise.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Malling

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Malling on Rover is £28.75 per day (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 13,080 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Malling. About 87% of Malling sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Malling commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
