Lexi had a fantastic day with Tamer and Odie. She went on a lovely walk with them and we got lots of photo updates and a little video which really helped put our minds at rest. Tamer was wonderful with her and we knew she was in safe hands with a real dog person. We are really looking forward to re-booking with them both.

About: I have loved cats and dogs since I was a child but only when settled in my own home after university did I feel settled enough to start to care for my own cats and dogs. Now I have the time to care for other pets and make them part of our family while they are here. I have a 4 year old Lab Retriever and two cats who both know how to live with dogs. Now that I have retired I have all the time in the world to devote to looking after my pets and yours. Your dog can become part of our family and share in all the care and attention I have a medium sized fully fenced in garden and plenty of room for the pets to find a quiet space if they need it or they are welcome to jump on the sofa for a cuddle.

About: I’ve raised a very energetic puppy so I’m aware of the demands a dog may have. I’m very attentive and will always set the wellbeing of a pet as an important priority After doing the morning school run, my day is completely free so I’m in the house full time as I work from home so I’m always around. I have a fenced garden with a dog flap so while a dog is in the house they have extended freedom to roam. Garden is regularly cleans and kept trimmed for safety and hygiene.

Her communication is always prompt and she sent us much appreciated photos and updates on how things were going. Our puppy was very calm and relaxed when we fetched her. About: I am a very experienced Dog Owner and Dog Sitter...... I have always grown up with Dogs also my whole life.. I have looked after and Dog Sat many different Small and Medium sized dogs....... I have a lovely home (House) with access to back Garden which is securely fensed. I live in a lovely village which is surrounded by x2 different lovely Parks, available for walks and amazing scenery also for the Dogs. 🥰⭐🦮 I also have our own little fur baby Tinkerbell, who is used to other Dogs but generally very shy anyway, so my dog does her own thing in our home and comes out of her little Hooded Bed when she feels like it for cuddles 🥰 I have had experience with breeds such as Jackapoo, King Charles Cavalier, Chihuahuas and a few more. I am home full time currently, as I had to leave my Main Administrator Role in the Office due to recovering from Surgery. If your Dog is looking for a peaceful, safe and quiet home with beautiful surroundings, then I am for you 🥰🥰⭐ Full time at Home currently, after having to leave my Full Time Role in Admin due to Miscarriage Surgery. So I am home Monday to Friday and also every Sunday to make your Dog feel loved and super cared for . ⭐🥰🦮 Garden is fully fenced off and safe secure 💪 Access to Garden via my Conservatory. ⭐ Always make sure all Dogs looked after are felt at ease and welcome for every moment.💎

About: I understand that caring for animals means exercise and interaction, as well as a feeling of security. I can promise all three at my Maidstone home. I have a hybrid role, meaning I'm typically at home three days a week. My wife works part-time hours and returns home around 2pm each day. We have two sons, one is away at uni, the other is going into Year 11. However, the only people in my home who will be caring for animal visitors will be myself with assistance from my wife Dorota. We have a fenced garden and a number of lovely walks near Tovil, just a few minutes from our doorstep. I have transport too so can visit your home to check/feed/walk your cat or dog.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. Animals have always been at the heart of my home. While living abroad, I rescued Bonny, a beautiful crossbreed desert dog who taught me so much about patience, love, and understanding different personalities. She was incredibly special to me. After returning to the UK and spending a few years without a dog, I welcomed Eddie, my working Cocker Spaniel, into my life. We also have a 1-year-old female spaniel. They truly are my world. I teach yoga five times a week and work from home two days a week, so my lifestyle is calm, balanced and centred around wellbeing. This means your dog will have plenty of attention, companionship and a relaxed environment while in my care. Because I’m a dog owner myself, I completely understand how important it is to have total peace of mind when leaving your dog in someone else’s care. That’s exactly what I would want for my own — and it’s what I promise to provide for you. We are a calm, child-free home with a secure, enclosed garden for safe play and exercise. Our home is also non-smoking, providing a clean and comfortable environment for your dog. Dogs who come to stay with us become part of the family. They’re treated as one of our own — with love, attention, cuddles, structure, and plenty of fun. My dogs are friendly and used to being around other dogs, so it’s important that any visiting dog is sociable and comfortable sharing space with them. I always follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible so they feel safe, settled and at home. You can expect regular updates and photos, because I know how reassuring that is when you’re away. Your dog won’t just be looked after — they’ll be welcomed into a loving home. I teach yoga 5 time a week, apart from my working hours I am out walking my dog or at home working in my garden. I often meet lots of other dog owners on my walks on Kings hill, Its a great community. My house is completely secure for small and large dogs. Our home is set on a very quiet close in kings hill. We have a minimal back garden where they can play freely. I am often out with walking the dogs at least twice a day for a good 1hour at a time. My dogs sleeps in his own bed in our bedroom and we would welcome another bed on the floor or in their own space if required. If you do not allow your dogs upstairs we have plenty of secure downstairs space your dog can enjoy. However we do treat all guests like family.

Febe looked after our dog Spud today and we couldn’t be happier! From the moment we met her, it was clear he was in safe hands. She was attentive and genuinely caring, and Spud took to her straight away. We really appreciated the updates and photos. It makes such a difference leaving your dog with someone who treats them as if they were their own. We would absolutely book with Febe again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, thoughtful and trustworthy care.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Malling on Rover is £28.75 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 13,044 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Malling. About 87% of Malling sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Malling commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
