About: I have had my own dog as well as pet sitting, walking and boarding for friends and family. We love all types of dogs. I love the cuddles and feeding side as well as walks in the woods. I often take dogs out with us for the day like they are part of the family. I’m anr home anll day and Barry is builder by trade and has flexible working hours as he’s self employed. Pets wouldn’t be left alone for very long as I’m home most days to take care of them. I have a fenced in garden for safety, a stair gate for the stairs if needed. We don’t tend to put dogs in crates unless requested. If looking after pets in your own home we will require any special instructions to be sent to us in writing including, such as times to be let out/in. Any medication must all be put in writing so this can be safely administered.
About: I have loved cats and dogs since I was a child but only when settled in my own home after university did I feel settled enough to start to care for my own cats and dogs. Now I have the time to care for other pets and make them part of our family while they are here. I have a 4 year old Lab Retriever and two cats who both know how to live with dogs. I left my job in November last year and considering early retirement. I am 58. This means I can be very flexible to others needs. I live in a cul de sac away from traffic. I have a large mature garden that is fully secure and access to lots of nearby walking areas for dogs such as woods etc.
