“The one place Bellsie is truly happy with away from home. When she realised where she was going today, she literally dragged me running there. The best care you could ask for,”

“Francesca took wonderful care of our hound - she is so warm and friendly , very accommodating and flexible, nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and we look forward to seeing her again. Gatsby was spoilt and had a fabulous day with Arthur and her ! Thanks again Francesca 😊”

“Jamie and Liv were great, we did a meet up the day before and they sent updates throughout the day. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to other dog owners! 😊”

“Ana was fantastic when she looked after our 4 month old cocker spaniel Luca. She arranged to meet us before she looked after him at a nearby park and then on the day, kept us updated with lots of photos and videos which was really reassuring. She was also super flexible with timings which was appreciated. You can see how much Ana loves dogs and she took great care of ours. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. Thanks again Ana!”

“Nacho had a great first day with Liam and was a happy sleepy girl when I picked her up. Liam was very communicative and sent photos throughout the day showing what a great time they were having. I was extremely comfortable leaving Nach with Liam as I could tell she would be in great hands. I would definitely recommend Liam to anyone needing someone to look after their fur babies. Nacho is looking forward to her next visit!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and animals my whole life. Taking care of dogs and many other animals. We recently said goodbye to our beloved golden retriever - the best family dog around our children we could ever have wished for! We now have little Roxy, a small Cavapoo who gets treated like a princess. 3 + walks a day. We live right by The Grove and Calverely Park in Tunbridge Wells. Perfect places to stretch the dogs legs. I’m home all day and in the evenings so the dogs always have someone to take them walking, company or a cuddle 🩷 I will be the only person who is looking after your beloved pets. I’m a stay at home Mum so always local. I’m home in the evenings too. I typically walk my dog first thing, around lunchtime and in the afternoon and right before bed. Roxy and I love walking. I have a fenced garden and Roxy our Cavapoo loves all dogs except border terriers (very sorry) but I can’t take those. Happy to crate dogs that need that at night. I can’t take dogs that aren’t house trained or who chew because they have the run of the house.
“Dillon was greeted and treated brilliantly. He seemed very happy to be left and happy when we collected him! Kept up to date and very happy to accommodate any requests- checking allergies etc. Thank you to Jakub and partner for being great hosts for our pooch.”

“Verity took excellent care of our 3 month old golden retriever - which isn't always the easiest of tasks! She sent lots of lovely updates, and struck up a great bond with him in a short time! Will definitely be re-booking her services moving forwards.”

About: I have owned dogs my entire life from German Shepards and Greyhounds as a child to labradors, long-haired Shepherds, Spaniels and rescue mixes as an adult. I love them in all shapes and sizes and am extremely experienced in their care. I also enjoy training dogs whether it's the very basics, brushing up on old tricks, or tackling something like dog agility! My father both bred Greyhounds and owned a Greyhound rescue, and he taught me a huge amount about dog behaviour and dog training as a young girl. I have trained my own dogs and those of others as a lifelong hobby and occasionally as a career. I have plenty of time to play and care for your dogs! I don't work at the moment so have a lot of flexibility in when I can be available. I am most flexible Monday - Wednesdays, but can find time on most days and when it comes to pet care I will always make it my priority! I have a fenced garden, access to a large fenced community garden, and am very close to lovely woodland walking routes which I have explored many times in the past with my own dogs and those belonging to others. I sadly lost my lab last year at the ripe old age of 15, so I don't currently have a pooch at home giving your pup the run of the house!
“Olivia looked after our dog Molly for us for the day at relatively short notice when we had to be out of town. She was very helpful and responsive, and Molly clearly had a great time staying with her. We would recommend her unreservedly and will no doubt book with her again.”

About: Hi! I’m Sarah, a French pet sitter with over 15 years of experience caring for animals. I’ve grown up with pets all my life, including dogs, cats, and rabbits. I’m reliable, caring, and attentive to each pet’s needs. I am also a volunteer at the Tunbridge Wells Wildlife Hospital, helping care for injured and rescued wild animals. I’ll be happy to look after your beloved companions, give them plenty of love and attention, and even teach them some French! ❤️ I have a flexible schedule and can easily adapt to your pet’s needs and routine. I’m currently writing a book, which allows me to spend long periods of time at home or in your home while working. This means your pet can enjoy plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, medication, or simply a reassuring presence, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them feel most comfortable. I always respect each pet’s routine and personality. I take the time to build trust, especially with shy or anxious animals, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, so caring for dogs comes completely naturally to me. From growing up with family pets to looking after dogs for friends and relatives, I’ve developed a strong understanding of different breeds, temperaments, and individual needs. I’m confident handling everything from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a gentler approach, and I always take the time to make each dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or quiet cuddles, I tailor my care to suit each dog’s personality—so you can feel completely at ease knowing they’re in safe, experienced hands. My Daily Pet Care Routine 🐾 Because I’m home all day, your dog will have constant care, attention, and companionship throughout their stay. Morning ☀️ The day starts with a morning toilet break and a gentle walk to get some fresh air. Breakfast is given according to your dog’s usual routine, followed by some relaxed time to settle. Mid-Morning 🐶 This is perfect for playtime, enrichment, and attention—whether that’s games, training practice, or just some cuddles on the sofa. Afternoon 🌿 We’ll head out for another walk (tailored to your dog’s energy levels), followed by rest time so they can relax and feel at home. Late Afternoon / Evening 🌇 More interaction, play, and a toilet break. Dinner is served based on your dog’s normal schedule. Night 🌙 A final toilet break before bed, then your dog settles down in a calm, cosy environment for the night. At home, your dog will be cared for in a safe, calm, and loving environment where they are never left unattended. As I’m home throughout the day, I can provide constant supervision, regular toilet breaks, and plenty of attention to keep them happy and settled. I take time to understand each dog’s routine, personality, and needs so I can provide personalised care—whether that’s playtime, walks, or simply a quiet space to relax. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priority, and I treat every dog as if they were my own, ensuring they feel secure, comfortable, and loved at all times.

About: I may not have formal experience, but I've spent my whole life around dogs and know how to read them, handle them, and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. Having just finished uni, I'm fully available all summer, flexible with hours, locations, and schedules. What I lack in a long CV, I make up for in real enthusiasm and plenty of time to give your dog proper attention. I've just finished university and have four months free before starting employment, which means I can offer genuine, unhurried flexibility that most sitters simply can't. I've grown up around dogs my whole life and have always been comfortable and confident with them. This is the perfect window for me to do something I actually enjoy, and your dog gets someone with real time and attention to give! I live on the ground floor of a flat right on the Common in Tunbridge Wells, which makes it incredibly convenient for walks, open green space is literally on my doorstep. It's a calm, safe environment with plenty of room for dogs to roam and explore. At home I can keep things relaxed and low-key, and being on the ground floor means no stairs to worry about for older or smaller dogs.
“Felt so reassured leaving Ziggy with Kirsten for the day. It’s the first time we had used a sitter and felt comfortable straight away - we’ve now booked her for a weeks stay when we go on holiday. Ziggy didn’t want to leave!”

About: I’ve always had dogs in the family and longed for one of my own! As soon as we could, we left London to get a house in the country so we could get our own puppy! Olivia looked after my lab Brody for the day at very short notice. When I dropped him off Brody RAN towards her, so I knew he’d be in good hands. Trip out for lunch, a walk in the woods with his new friend Nala and plenty of playtime. Brody was a very happy boy when I picked him up. Olivia shared lots of pictures and updates and I can’t thank her enough. Will definitely be in touch next time :) thank you!

Jordan has been fabulous. Loki truly enjoyed the day with him yesterday. Would add to say Jordan has been flexible and very accommodating. He also sent me updates mid day to let me know that Loki was settling in well. Will certainly arrange regular sitting with Jordan.
Francesca is a wonderful pet-sitter! Milo loved her and I think was a bit disappointed when it was time to come home. She clearly loves dogs and the work she does. Goes on long walks with the pooches, extending treats along the way. All fun and games with Francesca! Highly recommend!

Claudia and Bear met us before Winnie stayed over so that they were well acquainted. On the day of the her stay, we were really grateful for the updates and it was clear Winnie was being very well looked after. Highly recommend Claudia for looking after your dog!

A one-off doggy day care was needed for our 1 yr old cocker spaniel, Monty, when attending a family funeral. Jamie made excellent contact, was flexible in the arrangements, and provided a fun day for his golden retriever playing with Monty. Jamie was very natural with him and I would have no hesitation in recommending him. Thank you Jamie

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
