It was our first time booking Nikki, and also our first time having someone look after Fiadh in our flat. Add in that Fiadh had just had her spay and was still in recovery. Nikki was fabulous from point of meet and greet to her calm and reassuring presence on the night. Fiadh settled quickly with Nikki and as a result we were able to go out for the night feeling calm. We highly recommend Nikki and look forward to seeing her again.

Rita was an absolutely wonderful cat sitter for our 20-day trip! From the very beginning, she was warm, reliable, and clearly experienced with cats. She took excellent care of Freya—administering her medications as advised, keeping up with her routines, and most importantly, bonding with her beautifully. Freya took to her instantly. We received regular updates, photos, and videos that gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Rita also kept the house spotless and even left us a lovely plant as a thoughtful surprise. Her presence made our travels truly worry-free. I would highly recommend Rita to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and genuinely kind cat sitter—and would absolutely have her back again!

About: Hi! I’m Sarah, a French pet sitter with over 15 years of experience caring for animals. I’ve grown up with pets all my life, including dogs, cats, and rabbits. I’m reliable, caring, and attentive to each pet’s needs. I am also a volunteer at the Tunbridge Wells Wildlife Hospital, helping care for injured and rescued wild animals. I’ll be happy to look after your beloved companions, give them plenty of love and attention, and even teach them some French! ❤️ I have a flexible schedule and can easily adapt to your pet’s needs and routine. I’m currently writing a book, which allows me to spend long periods of time at home or in your home while working. This means your pet can enjoy plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, medication, or simply a reassuring presence, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them feel most comfortable. I always respect each pet’s routine and personality. I take the time to build trust, especially with shy or anxious animals, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind

About: We are a couple, Diana and Pieter, both 50 years old, with a lifelong connection to animals. Pieter grew up on a farm in South Africa, surrounded by many different animals, not just dogs and cats, which gave him a natural ease and confidence in caring for them. I grew up with dogs, cats, chickens, and rabbits, so taking care of animals has always been part of my daily life. We both still have our own pets today, so caring for animals is something that comes naturally to us. We’re used to their routines, their needs, and the responsibility that comes with them. If you see that we’ve selected the option to bring a pet, it would occasionally be our Springer Spaniel, 10, Qtoy, calm and friendly, but of course only if your pets like to be social. We also have a lovely black Labrador Retriever, american style, named Beny , of 3 years. We both work remotely, which means we spend most of our time at home and can be very present with the pets we look after. We like to keep things simple: respecting each animal’s routine, giving them attention, and making sure they feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. For us, pet and house sitting is a way to stay close to animals, experience places more deeply, and take care of a home with the same attention we would give our own. We currently work remotely and part-time, so we have plenty of time to spend with your pets and keep them company. We’re available for pet and house sitting, staying in your home during the week and/or weekends. We take care of pets by staying in the owner’s home, so they can remain in their familiar environment and routine. We follow all the instructions given carefully, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific needs. Since we work remotely and part-time, we spend a lot of time at home, so pets are rarely left alone and get plenty of attention and companionship. We like to keep their routine as stable as possible, making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away.

About: Hi! 👋 I live in central Tunbridge Wells with my partner and our three cats. Growing up in a family that regularly adopted rescue pets, caring for animals has been a natural part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've looked after and owned pets with all sorts of personalities – from large, energetic dogs to independent cats, cuddly companions, and senior pets who enjoy taking things slower. These days, I'm often the first person family and friends call when they need someone reliable to care for their pets while they're away. I understand that every animal is unique, so I'm happy to tailor my visits to suit your pet's individual needs, whether that's walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or just being there to keep them company. I'm also great with smaller animals and have previously owned birds, chickens, gerbils, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. I'll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, so you know your pet is happy, comfortable, and in safe hands while you're away. I have access to my own car and can also walk to local bookings. I'd love to meet you and your furry family members, let's to arrange a meet and greet today! 🐾 I currently work from home for a national animal welfare charity in non-vetanarity role, which offers flexibility across the week. Because of this (and my lifetime of cat ownership!) have a solid understanding of behaviours and best practice - particularly around cats. Your home is just as important to me as your pets. I'll always treat it with care and respect. Before booking, I'm happy to chat through your pet's routine and any specific instructions you may have. My goal is to make sure you feel happy, comfortable, and reassured from the start.

About: I have experience caring for pets of all ages, breeds, and care levels, from playful puppies to senior pets needing a little extra attention. I understand the importance of maintaining your pet’s routines, whether it’s feeding schedules, exercise, or bedtime rituals, to help them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’m also experienced in administering medications, including oral and topical treatments, and can handle special care instructions for pets with medical needs. Whether your pet is high-energy, laid-back, or somewhere in between, I’m dedicated to providing attentive, compassionate care tailored to their unique needs. After leaving my corporate job to focus on what I love, I’m now fully available and flexible to fit your schedule for meetups, pickups/drop-offs, and your pet’s routine. Whether your pet thrives on outdoor adventures like long walks and park visits or prefers cozy indoor companionship, I’m here to provide the care and attention they need. I tailor every interaction to your pet’s comfort and personality, ensuring they feel loved and secure while you’re away! You know your pet best, so we’ll chat during the meet & greet about your pet’s specific quirks and needs! When caring for your pet, I prioritise safety and trust-building, taking extra care to get to know their personality and recall. If your pet typically goes off-lead, I can gradually introduce off-lead activities in secure environments once your pet and I have established a strong bond.

About: I have had a variety of pets all my life and am very good with animals. I have always had cats growing up and a giant Bernese mountain dog. I am on hand to let them out into my fenced garden and am currently training for a half marathon so happy to take them for walks or runs. About: Looking after the pets is having them as part of our families while on our care. My husband, my children and i all get involved in taking a good care of the pets and including them on our household like part of the family! I alway had pets in Brazil, when moving to UK it wasn’t possible, i’ve started to look after my friends pets while they were on holidays. When introduced to Rover i could expand this care and help more families while they are away. I was a nurse in Brazil and now i work part tome as a Nursery Teacher, so looking after others was always part of most of my life. With now 2 years of experience on Rover and so many more year as a dog owner back in Brazil a couple of year ago! I always had pets back living in Brazil, the last ones were a dog and 2 cats! I have nursing degree and worked at hospitals for nearly 10 year in Brazil. After moving to UK in 2019, i had a career break to look after my children. When the youngest started school in 2022 i’ve decided to change my career and started working on a preschool to spend more time with my family. We were missing have a pet and as we normally go on long holidays to Brazil it’s difficult to have one. With this i was introduced to Rover and it’s being delightful to care for pets at our house. I’ve started looking after my friend’s pets, while they were on holidays and got the joy of boarding.

About: I live in central Tunbridge Wells, a few minutes walk away from a great park/field and the woods. I have a small dog myself, who I absolutely adore, and would love to help out anyone who needs their beloved pet looking after. I have had my dog for 12 years and have looked after many friends pets whilst they have gone on holiday; so I have plenty of experience in both Dog Walking and looking after small dogs in my home. Although I can’t have a large dog stay at mine (max 10 kilos) I am more than happy to provide home visits and play/walk bigger dogs and / or cats. Whilst looking after your pet I’ll happily send you updates and photos / videos. I work from home so will be around all the time whilst sitting. I absolutely love animals (probably more than humans!) So your pet is in safe and loving hands with me (please read my reviews). WALKS: our new furry friend can be walked up to three times a day (depending on requirements), so they are never bored and will enjoy going to different parks / walks / woods. If you advise, then I’ll keep your dog on the lead, your pooch will get lots of love and fun staying with us 🥰🐶🐱❤️ I currently work from home so you Dog will be continuously supervised. We can work with you to agree a schedule. Always happy to help. I live in a flat, but have a fenced/gated communal garden. Your dog will have the company of my dog who is very patient and experienced in having furry friends over. Your dog will never be left on their own.

Nicola is an exceptional dog sitter and I wish I could clone her! She is wonderful with both of our dogs, but one of our dogs needs special attention (he's very wary of strangers and it takes him a long time to warm up!) She worked to gain his trust so that she could walk him, and she used a number of calming techniques so that he would relax. She also provided photos and regular updates for us, which gave us peace of mind while we were out. I really enjoy having Nicola take care of our boys and I appreciate her patience and care with them! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!
