I have had the joy of loving and taking care of a range of pets over the years, both my own as well as friends and family pets. These range from cats (indoor and outdoor) and dogs (from dachsunds to huskies) to lizards (geckos, water dragons, bearded dragons) and even a quaker parrot. Every pet has a different personality and I will take the time to really get to know them and build trust with them, ensuring they feel comfortable and loved with plenty of cuddles or space if that's what they need. I am experienced in administering medication and strictly adhering to complex raw or restricted diets as well as maintaining humidity and heat cycles for reptiles. I am available for both house sitting or drop in visits but I do have a health condition at the moment which affects my mobility therefore dog walking is not a service that I am currently offering unless all your dog requires is a short walk around the block or letting out in the garden. However, my partner is happy to sometimes help out with longer dog walks if needed, especially if required as part of a longer house-sit until my mobility improves and if he is available. He loves animals just as much as I do and also has similar experience to me in walking high maintenance dogs like huskies. I understand that it can be nerve wracking leaving your beloved pet with someone else whilst you go away so I am happy to have a meet and greet beforehand so you can get reassurance that you are leaving your pet in safe hands - just send me a message to arrange.
