Reliable pet care you can trust
I have had the joy of loving and taking care of a range of pets over the years, both my own as well as friends and family pets. These range from cats (indoor and outdoor) and dogs (from dachsunds to huskies) to lizards (geckos, water dragons, bearded dragons) and even a quaker parrot. Every pet has a different personality and I will take the time to really get to know them and build trust with them, ensuring they feel comfortable and loved with plenty of cuddles or space if that's what they need. I am experienced in administering medication and strictly adhering to complex raw or restricted diets as well as maintaining humidity and heat cycles for reptiles. I am available for both house sitting or drop in visits but I do have a health condition at the moment which affects my mobility therefore dog walking is not a service that I am currently offering unless all your dog requires is a short walk around the block or letting out in the garden. However, my partner is happy to sometimes help out with longer dog walks if needed, especially if required as part of a longer house-sit until my mobility improves and if he is available. He loves animals just as much as I do and also has similar experience to me in walking high maintenance dogs like huskies. I understand that it can be nerve wracking leaving your beloved pet with someone else whilst you go away so I am happy to have a meet and greet beforehand so you can get reassurance that you are leaving your pet in safe hands - just send me a message to arrange. Whether your pet has fur, scales, feathers, I promise that I will treat them with the same expertise and affection that I would give my own pet.

I am a responsible and attentive sitter and will make sure that their safety is a priority at all times. Whilst in your home caring for your pet(s), I will treat your space with the utmost care and respect leaving it clean and tidy for your return whilst watering any plants and accepting any deliveries if required. I have completed a Pet Sitting and Dog Walking certification (see photos) and am in the process of completing a similar certification for Pet Psychology. I also have a clean DBS check and fully insured.

Nikki was amazing looking after our two dogs. She send a lot of photos and videos to reassure me they were both doing ok. Specially my eldest dog who I was a bit worried about. The dogs were happy and very comfortable with her.

It was our first time booking Nikki, and also our first time having someone look after Fiadh in our flat. Add in that Fiadh had just had her spay and was still in recovery. Nikki was fabulous from point of meet and greet to her calm and reassuring presence on the night. Fiadh settled quickly with Nikki and as a result we were able to go out for the night feeling calm. We highly recommend Nikki and look forward to seeing her again.
Nikki was amazing with Teddy! Regular updates, followed instructions perfectly, handled his anxiety with care. Teddy was happy, relaxed, and safe. Highly recommend—will book again!
Nikki has looked after our two sausage dogs several times in the last 18months for weekends that we have been away. she is caring and kind towards my two boys and never fails to see to their needs. if you have a sausages you will know the high maintenance they are but Nikki has no problem with dealing with anything they through at her. my eldest sadly got IVDD last year and Nikki had to dog sit for a weekend. with the dogs being separated its wasn't easy but Nikki was great at keeping them both calm, entertained and gave medication when needed no problem. I will always use Nikki for weekends and longer holidays as she is such a caring, mature, responsible, loving person. my dogs feel so safe with her and so does my home.
Nikki has looked after our dog a few times, we wouldn't trust anyone else. Nikki got to know our dog & setup, and cared for our dog as if it was her own; such love & attention. She also kept our house clean & tidy. We always feel at ease and have great piece of mind knowing our dog is well cared for with Nikki.

Dates de la garde
I am currently taking a purposeful step back from traditional working patterns to focus on my health. This transition has provided a wonderful opportunity to dedicate energy to my love for animals. Because I am not tied to an office desk, I can offer a level of flexibility and presence that a lot of sitters can’t which allows me to be there for your pets whenever they and you need me most.
