“Absolutely wonderful! Anya is a true dog lover, and made Olga feel right at home. I got regular updates and photographs of Olga out and about, snuggling in Anya’s bed, and huddled together on the couch with the family. Would recommend 100%, and will definitely be sending Olga there again”

“Liam is a wonderful dog sitter, considerate and thoughtful, sending lots of updates. We feel very lucky to have found somebody who cares for our dog and we trust implicitly”

“Rebecca made me feel so at ease from the very beginning - it being my first booking on Rover. She kept me informed and updated throughout the sit and I was sent loads of pics showing just how relaxed Tommy was in her care. I booked her again that same week! Will definitely use again and am so glad I found someone I can trust.”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and owner of a big, very lovable Labrador, so I know just how much our dogs are part of the family. I’m confident with larger dogs, enthusiastic walkers and those who are particularly enthusiastic about food! I’m calm, sensible and reliable, and very happy getting out for a proper walk rather than simply doing a quick lap around the block. Most importantly, I know how much trust is involved in leaving your dog with somebody else. I’ll look after your dog as I’d want someone to look after mine, with plenty of attention, affection and reassurance, and I’m always happy to keep you updated while they’re with me. I have two cats so any dog coming to stay needs to be on good terms with cats and does not chew furniture! I work from home, so dogs can fit very naturally into my day. They’ll have company throughout the day, access to the garden and a proper lunchtime walk, usually in one of the two parks close to my home. My own Labrador is always around too, so there’s plenty of opportunity for play, company and snoozing afterwards. I have a safe, fully fenced grassed garden and a friendly five-year-old Labrador who loves having company. Dogs are welcome to make themselves at home and will be treated as part of the family while they’re here. I’ll follow your usual routines around feeding, walks and rest, and I’m very happy to accommodate individual needs. I would always want our dogs to meet first to make sure they’re comfortable together before their first stay.
“Ana made sure Roxy had a holiday of her own! I received so many beautiful photos and felt so happy knowing she was taken care of so well. Would definitely use Ana again.”

“I couldn’t have asked for more! Julie was incredible and Poppy adored her. I got regular updates and photos and felt confident that my little girl was being well cared for while I was gone. Would recommend Julie to anyone and will definitely be rebooking with her in the future. Thanks again Julie xx”

“Ollie had SUCH a blast with Laura. She’s such a great sitter and looked after him for 8 days while we were on holiday. We had total peace of mind with plenty of videos, photos and updates. He went on plenty of walks - and runs! He’s actually looking a bit grumpy about being back with us if anything he had that much fun 🤩”

About: We are a semi retired couple and our beloved black Labrador left us a few years ago. We love dogs and have the time to provide a temporary home - all dogs welcome. We have a big detached house with a secure garden. Our friends all have dogs and regularly call on us to dog sit. We are both mainly retired so have plenty of time on our hands to look after a dog (our adult kids are also dog lovers and would probably come home just to help out. We don’t really have a fixed routine so can provide flexibility if we are around. We are however on holiday a lot so can’t always be always be available. We have a big detached house with a secure garden. If you have a crate you are welcome to provide this alternatively we can throw down a dog bed in a choice of rooms. We have a footpath right outside our front door leading to many adventures.
About: I am new to Rover however, as a Dachshund owner myself and having had and looked after dogs my whole life, I will provide your pet a safe, warm and loving home whilst you are away. I have one miniature Dachshund called Rosie so your pet will always have a gentle play mate to have fun with. I will always try to match your home routine eg breakfast time, length of walks, favourite treats etc so that your sausage will settle and feel at home. I am within a mile of a reputable vet if any medication is needed. A meet and greet is welcomed before you decide to commit to a booking with me. I have a secure fenced large garden and plenty of beautiful countryside on hand if your pet would like additional walks. My house is single storey and there are no areas that your pet is not welcome…even on the couch! I have plenty of toys and bedding but I’m happy for you to bring along whatever you need for your pet to make them feel at home. If required I send pictures and updates whilst you are away so you can relax and enjoy yourself knowing that your pet is having a wonderful time too!!

About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up in South Africa, we always had both dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I currently have a friendly and energetic 5-year-old Jack Russell called Frank, who loves walks, playtime and making new doggy friends. Looking after Frank has given me plenty of experience with active dogs and, most importantly, an understanding that every dog has their own personality, routine and individual needs. I have plenty of time to give your dog attention, exercise, cuddles and companionship throughout their stay. I understand how important it is for dogs to feel comfortable and settled when they're away from home, so I'll do my best to keep their normal routine and follow any instructions you provide. I'm available at weekends and would love to care for your dog while you're away. I have a beautiful woodland area right behind my home, which is perfect for exciting walks and adventures, as well as a fully secure, enclosed garden where dogs can safely play, explore or simply relax. I'm also happy to administer medication if needed and will always follow your dog's usual routine and any special instructions to make sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for. I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone else, and I want you to have complete peace of mind while you're away. I'll care for your dog as if they were my own, giving them plenty of love, attention, exercise and companionship. I can't wait to meet you and your furry best friend! 🐾 I work full-time during the week, which means I'm available to provide dedicated weekend care for your dog. Drop-off: From 4:00 pm on Fridays Pick-up: By Monday Your dog will enjoy a structured, loving routine with plenty of attention. We start the day with a morning walk to stretch their legs and burn off some energy, followed by playtime, rest, and lots of cuddles. In the late afternoon, we'll head out for another walk through the beautiful wooded area behind our home, helping your pooch relax and settle in for a comfortable evening. I'm committed to making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and right at home while you're away. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. My dog, Frank, is a much-loved member of my family and lives indoors with me, so any dog staying with me will be treated just like one of my own. My home has a secure, fully enclosed back garden where dogs can safely play and explore. I understand how important routine is, so I'll do my best to follow your dog's usual schedule, including feeding times, walks, medication, and any special care instructions. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.
“Rheid looked after my dog, Kiko, for the day and was absolutely brilliant. Rheid was friendly, reliable and clearly very caring. Kiko took a shine to her immediately. Kiko was happy, relaxed and well looked after. Receiving photos of their adventures gave me real peace of mind. I would happily recommend Rheid to anyone looking for kind and trustworthy dog care, and I’d definitely use her again.”

“Can't say enough good things about Alex and her care. She offered a lovely meet & greet beforehand and accommodated the many mobility, medication needs and quirks that come along with a 15yr old stubborn dachshund. Lovely updates and photos every day and I didn't worry at all about our fur-baby. Her home and garden are also brilliantly suited to overnight stays. We feel very lucky to have found Alex and would recommend her 1000x over.”

“Bailey was looked after so well whilst we were away. It was so nice getting regular photo updates, and we could see he really settled in very quickly and felt at home. He even got a bath and brush and came home smelling wonderful 🥰 Will definitely look to rebook Miriam when we are next away.”

About: I grew up with three cats one of which lived to be 20. I currently have a cat as well and navigated him moving in with my dog so have a good understanding of their behaviour. I am used to reading their needs and supporting with various medical issues. I’d be available mornings and evenings

“This was the second time we used Rachael and I would definitely recommend! She sends updates for each visit, the house was clean when we returned and more importantly we had a very happy cat.”

About: I grew up in a household filled with many pets, mainly dogs (we had nine dogs at one point), as well as cats, reptiles, birds and fish, so caring for pets has always been second nature to me. I’ve recently returned to the UK after a year in Australia, where I discovered my love for pet and house sitting. It quickly became one of my favourite ways to travel, and I’m excited to continue doing it now that I’m back home. I’m a compassionate, considerate, and conscientious person who finds looking after other people’s pets and homes deeply rewarding. I’ve cared for many dog breeds — including spaniels, dachshunds, pit bulls, retrievers, poodles, and greyhounds — each with their own personalities and needs, from lively puppies to gentle seniors. I’m comfortable administering medication and have plenty of experience with anxious pets and rescue animals. I love long walks and hikes, and having a furry companion along for the adventure is always a highlight. I also take great pride in keeping homes clean, tidy, and well cared for while owners are away. If you feel I might be the perfect fit for your pets, I’d love to hear from you! I’m self-employed and work remotely, which means I have a very flexible schedule and can be available any day of the week. I can easily fit pet care around my work, allowing me to spend plenty of quality time with your pets throughout the day. Whether it’s a midday walk, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I’m able to give them the attention they need whenever they need it. When house sitting, I make sure pets feel comfortable and secure in their own space by keeping to their usual routines. Feeding times, walks, favourite toys, bedtime rituals. I treat every home with respect, keep things clean and tidy, and send regular updates so you know your pets are happy and cared for. For dog walks, I tailor each outing to suit their energy and personality, whether that’s a gentle stroll or a lively run around the park. Walks are a great opportunity for exercise and stimulation, so I make sure every dog gets the attention they deserve.

“Feel very lucky to have found Rebecca to take care of my two cats. She obviously adores animals and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. She administered the cats’ medicine and I received photos of them every day.”

“Christie looked after our cats Cassie and Willow for 4 nights and I knew from the start they'd be in great hands- Christie was very friendly and clearly a cat lover! She sent daily written updates along with photos and videos which we really appreciated while being away. Our flat was immaculate upon return, with Cassie and Willow very relaxed and content! Thank you very much Christie.”

About: I live in central Tunbridge Wells, a few minutes walk away from a great park/field and the woods. I have a small dog myself, who I absolutely adore, and would love to help out anyone who needs their beloved pet looking after. I have had my dog for 12 years and have looked after many friends pets whilst they have gone on holiday; so I have plenty of experience in both Dog Walking and looking after small dogs in my home. Although I can’t have a large dog stay at mine (max 10 kilos) I am more than happy to provide home visits and play/walk bigger dogs and / or cats. Whilst looking after your pet I’ll happily send you updates and photos / videos. I work from home so will be around all the time whilst sitting. I absolutely love animals (probably more than humans!) So your pet is in safe and loving hands with me (please read my reviews). WALKS: our new furry friend can be walked up to three times a day (depending on requirements), so they are never bored and will enjoy going to different parks / walks / woods. If you advise, then I’ll keep your dog on the lead, your pooch will get lots of love and fun staying with us 🥰🐶🐱❤️ I currently work from home so you Dog will be continuously supervised. We can work with you to agree a schedule. Always happy to help. I live in a flat, but have a fenced/gated communal garden. Your dog will have the company of my dog who is very patient and experienced in having furry friends over. Your dog will never be left on their own.
About: Having grown-up with dogs and cats, I’ve always had a love and respect for animals. During my university and early work years, I regularly house-sat for friends and colleagues, looking after a range of dog sizes - from Yorkies through to Rhodesian Ridgebacks. During my 10 years living in the Middle East, I was an active volunteer at both Sharjah Cat & Dog Shelter and Canine Friends - the latter where I was responsible for the rehabilitation of dogs that had suffered significant trauma. Since moving to the UK in 2022, I have frequently walked and hosted our neighbours dogs. I work from home 3-days a week and that affords me the flexibility to either work from my own residence or in the pets home. I love being active and exercise plays a big part of my life - therefore always happy to take out some four-legged friends rain, hail or shine. I live in a fully-fenced and secure home - and your dog would always remain on the ground floor and within eyesight at all times. Likewise when sitting in the pets home, I like to work closely with both the dog and owner in gaining a rapport and friendship.

“We had lovely walks with Leiah on several drop-ins, and Riley clearly has taken to all the cuddles and attention she gets from Leiah. We're looking forward to our first dog sit, which is all booked!”

“Olivia looked after my lab Brody for the day at very short notice. When I dropped him off Brody RAN towards her, so I knew he’d be in good hands. Trip out for lunch, a walk in the woods with his new friend Nala and plenty of playtime. Brody was a very happy boy when I picked him up. Olivia shared lots of pictures and updates and I can’t thank her enough. Will definitely be in touch next time :) thank you!”

“Totally lovely lady, Millie is a very anxious girl and hates being separated from me but she warmed to Rebecca after a few minutes.. she enjoyed her walks and cuddles and fell asleep when we got home. Will definitely be using this lady again. She sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. I was so thankful she was so kind. Thank you so much”

“Ana was fantastic when she looked after our 4 month old cocker spaniel Luca. She arranged to meet us before she looked after him at a nearby park and then on the day, kept us updated with lots of photos and videos which was really reassuring. She was also super flexible with timings which was appreciated. You can see how much Ana loves dogs and she took great care of ours. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. Thanks again Ana!”

About: I have my own dog, Truffle, who is nearly four. Prior to that I dog sat for friends and on Rover for several years. I’ve looked after dogs of all age and sizes. I also grew up with cats and have a cat (Clarence). I am looking to get out the house more as I work from home most of the time and only moved to Tunbridge wells last year - typically I wouldn’t bring truffle as she doesn’t always get on with new dogs but perhaps with the right ones I could also be available to take them on our lunch walk. Truff has had some behaviour issues with barrier reactivity that we’ve been working on so I definitely understand how to adapt to different dogs needs and have become quite adept at reading their body language. Please message - I’m happy to share any additional info and to be flexible around your needs (although my lunch walk is reserved for Truff so ideally would be mornings and evenings to start and then happy to introduce lunch for the right match) :) I am mostly looking to do walks and drop ins which I would do without truffle but also open to doggy day care for calm dogs as truffle usually adapts pretty well when she learns that another dog isn’t a threat (we would keep Clarence seperate and truffle can get on with most dogs usually smaller ones) I work from home (except for two days each month). We usually go for our walks between 11-1300. We go for an average of 45 mins with a mixture of sniffs, training and playing. I would be able to Come before 9 or after 5 to take your pupper out for similar adventures or to drop in and give attention and anything they need. I am very neat and tidy and would treat your home as if it were my own just before visitors are arriving (if you knew me you’d understand this is the highest standard!). I am also a strong communicator and always ensure the plan is clear
“Felt so reassured leaving Ziggy with Kirsten for the day. It’s the first time we had used a sitter and felt comfortable straight away - we’ve now booked her for a weeks stay when we go on holiday. Ziggy didn’t want to leave!”

“Joanna was wonderful! It was a last minute booking, she was so kind and helpful and kept me updated throughout the day with lots of photos. Dottie had a fabulous day and throughly enjoyed playing with joanna's gorgeous sausage dog! Thank you so much!”

“Willow had a fabulous day with Julie and Darryl on Tuesday.. she even did her 'happy sand dance' for them, a good sign she's very comfortable and content! Thank you both for your kind care and attention with Willow and for the ball games 😉”

“Veronica is a lovely, warm lady who clearly loves dogs. The home is warm and comfortable and Dogly settled immediately. I could tell from the photos and video that Dogly was quite content.”

Additionally, I have working experience with horses and birds so not afraid to help with animals of any size. The environment is a pet secure house with a fenced garden in a quiet neighbourhood. Any other accommodations just let me know! Happy to help with anything.
About: As a family, we have always had dogs which has given me endless happy memories throughout my childhood. Mainly they were larger breeds, such as two Dobermans, a Dalmatian, and now a German Shorthaired Pointer, so I am very comfortable with big breeds - I respect their size and grace, and the extra big cuddles they give! More recently, I have happily become the Auntie to a miniature Daschund too. Whatever their size, there is something about dogs that brings me comfort - during stressful times (particularly while training at the moment), all it takes is time with a dog to make me feel calmer. Even while doing the more effortful jobs, as I am the designated pooper-scooper! Having grown up in the countryside, my partner (Elliot) and I very much miss the company of animals and love any opportunity to look after or interact with one. A house is definitely not a home without a dog! With all of our dogs, I have been involved in plenty of puppy training, including our gun-dog trainer GSP. I understand the resilience, hard-work and patience it can take but the reward in the end is priceless. Whatever the breed, do drop me a message as I would love to help you out while also getting my furry fix! I currently am studying for a doctorate in clinical psychology where I am placement for 3 days a week then have lectures on 2 days. I often work from home and love very relaxed weekends doing long walks and wholesome activities with my partner, Elliot. It would be lovely to have a pet to keep us company while working from home or during those chilled weekends! We have a good size garden with plenty of grass for the necessary toilet needs, ball time, and stick throwing! It is secure for medium/big dogs - for those much smaller friends we would be extra careful to either keep them close or keep them on a long lead in the garden, in case they cleverly find a hole we weren’t aware of!
“Nathan is super duper! Made whole process so easy. Quick at replying and coming over to meet our dog. Walks commenced the next day. And Red seems to love him and their walks. We get photo updates which is very sweet and you can see he is only lovely walks round the local woodland. Very happy and so is Red!”

About: I love dogs and cats, and I’m currently living with a Samoyed and a cat. I grew up with dogs and have had both a Husky and a Golden Retriever, raising them from puppies. Sadly, they passed away a few years ago, but I also gained valuable experience caring for them in their senior years. I am attentive to each pet’s individual needs and routines, and I always aim to provide a calm, safe, and comfortable environment while they are in my care. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. I am currently working from home to run an online business all day, so I can be quite flexible with looking after your pets. My dog, Simba, is very friendly to other dogs as well. He can be a bit barky, but he is very playful. I live in rural areas and have a fully fenced garden. My dog can keep your pet good company. I also have crates if needed.
About: I have had dogs in my family for years, I have been dog sitting all different kinds of dogs in my flat for 2 years I currently work from home full time so am available to dog sit full time every day. Can take dogs out regularly through the day I have a very spacious flat with a balcony the dog can use, I can easily crate your dog if needed. Always friendly and fun
About: I’ve always been a huge dog lover and have plenty of hands on experience caring for them. I have a 5 year old Goldendoodle of my own, so I’m very used to the daily routine of walks, playtime, feeding, grooming, and making sure a dog feels safe and happy. Princess treatment. Over the years I’ve also looked after dogs for family and friends, helping with walks, feeding, and overnight care when they’ve been away. Spending time with dogs comes very naturally to me, and I genuinely treat them like part of the family. I also have dog first aid training. I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident their dog is in good hands, so I always aim to give them plenty of attention, affection, and a calm, caring environment. I work full time from home with a flexible time schedule. I tend to do a nice long morning walk along with time around lunchtime to rid of some energy and then an afternoon walk. As I already have a dog then I would be delighted to add another one to join the work from home life! Happy to look after your pooch whilst you are in the office or away, knowing they will be treated in the best way I have a ground floor apartment that is very dog friendly with plenty of dog toys. We have so many walks around to keep the dogs happy!
“Highly recommend Cecily. At short notice she made herself available for a meet and greet before taking our Leonberger for a walk the following day. We received wonderful photos showing how much fun she’d had and will definitely use Cecily again”

About: I have grown up with large dogs (Doberman, German Shepherds, Retrievers, and Labs), Im confident with all breeds (and cats), I have been a dog walker for 8 years, and I love it more every day! I have experience training puppies, and caring for elderly dogs. Most importantly, with my years of experience, I provide exceptional, personalised care, so you can relax knowing they're in the absolute best hands. I'm a student with a few online classes each week, which makes me very flexible, most of the time, you can count on me being free, I am home all day and can dedicate the whole day to your pets, to truly spoil them. I have a large home with a large fenced garden that backs onto a private forest. The most amazing holiday home for your dog. The garden is a safe space where I can keep your pet in sight at all times.
“Luke left us feeling very calm and listened to what we wanted from him. Keeping us updated throughout and left to enjoy out holiday with no added stress. Will definitely use him again”
About: My name is Georgina, and I’ve been working professionally with dogs for over 8 years—and I’ve loved every minute of it. During this time, I’ve gained experience across a wide range of sectors, working with breeds both big and small, each with their own unique temperament, age, and physical ability. I have an in-depth knowledge of dog and animal behaviour, including the many different play styles and personalities they bring. No matter how easy-going or challenging a dog may be, they are always welcome. I hold an IMDT dog training qualification and offer training for both puppies and adult dogs who may need extra support. My goal is always to provide the very best care, tailored to your dog’s individual needs. Whether that means group walks for social butterflies or gentle strolls for senior companions, I’ve got you covered. I am currently operating Wednesdays to Saturdays. From as early as you may need to as late as you need. I have flexible days and will be either able to have solo and group walks depending on your dogs needs. Every customer receives a personalised care plan to ensure I fully understand your dog’s individual needs, weather this be in or out of your home. This allows me to provide the right level of care, whether that includes specific feeding routines, administering medication, or simply tailoring walks and activities to suit your dog’s personality. My priority is always to make sure your dog is happy, healthy, and well looked after.
“A last minute request to Kirsten to look after Winston and she was amazing! Great at communication, kept us updated and helped on what was a very hot day to make sure our pup Winston was happy!”

“Our chow chow Paddy had a lovely relaxing getaway at Sarah’s when we had to spend the night away. Great communication, regular updates. Would definitely recommend Thanks Sarah”

“Jasper had a really great stay with Jamie! Can really tell they’re dog lovers, they kept me updated with videos and pictures & Jasper looked like he had an absolute ball with George! I had a very happy & tired dog. Would absolutely recommend, thank you again! 🐾”

“Once again, we were delighted with Sarah's care of our dog, Ziggy, who is quite nervous. Sarah provides a calm and loving home from home and Ziggy returns to us having had a wonderful time with cuddles and walks. Thank you, Sarah! Jane.”

“Bailey was looked after so well whilst we were away. It was so nice getting regular photo updates, and we could see he really settled in very quickly and felt at home. He even got a bath and brush and came home smelling wonderful 🥰 Will definitely look to rebook Miriam when we are next away.”

“Joanna and her bf were wonderful hosts and super lovely. They have an adorable dachshund that’s close to Cosmo’s age too. We met for a play date 2 days earlier to introduce them to one another and it went well. Joanna was also knowledgeable in general Spitz behaviour which made me more comfortable. Cosmo has separation anxiety but she kept him company whilst ensuring she gave him his space when he wanted it. She kept me up to date, sent me photos, and was responsive. Glad Cosmo made new friends and will definitely visit again! 😊”

“Thaisa was absolutely amazing with our puppy. We had pictures and messages letting us know how and what she had been up to. Absolutely amazing, if we need dog sitting again we would definitely try and send her to Thaisa”

“Chris and Gill were absolutely fabulous! As it was our wedding, Chris even picked our pup Tilly up from the location and was so sweet waiting for us to take some last pictures too. Tilly and Murphy got on great and played chase together and they also took her on a lovely walk before we've picked her up. Would not hesitate to book again ❤️”

“Would highly recommend Bryony and Matt. They had Milo for a long weekend and I felt so at ease and comfortable, they treat Milo like he’s their own and kept me updated. Milo gets very excited to them. Thank you x”
