About: We are a semi retired couple and our beloved black Labrador left us a few years ago. We love dogs and have the time to provide a temporary home - all dogs welcome. We have a big detached house with a secure garden. Our friends all have dogs and regularly call on us to dog sit. We are both mainly retired so have plenty of time on our hands to look after a dog (our adult kids are also dog lovers and would probably come home just to help out. We don’t really have a fixed routine so can provide flexibility if we are around. We are however on holiday a lot so can’t always be always be available. We have a footpath right outside our front door leading to many adventures.

About: I grew up with three cats one of which lived to be 20. I currently have a cat as well and navigated him moving in with my dog so have a good understanding of their behaviour. I am used to reading their needs and supporting with various medical issues. I’d be available mornings and evenings

About: I adopted my cat about 10 years ago when she was a kitten. I am living with her, and fingers crossed, she is sound and healthy. I love cats, and usually they quite like me as well. I am attentive to each pet’s individual needs and routines, and I always aim to provide a calm, safe, and comfortable environment while they are in my care. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, and I take that responsibility seriously.

“Absolutely lovely, punctual and professional. My cat is not usually cuddly but with Lara he was all about the purrs, that’s an indication of the person’s good vibes. Very grateful we had her taking care of our beloved little furry one.”

About: I’m a 22 year old from south India. Currently in Scotland working towards my undergraduate degree in Psychology. Cats have been a passion ever since a young age when I used to sneak in little kittens to my house without my parents’ knowledge. My current kitty is a lovely white rag doll that I may or may not have stolen off the streets. She is lovely little cuddles with the most ‘I’m done with life and everything under the sun’ expression.

“Christie looked after our cats Cassie and Willow for 4 nights and I knew from the start they'd be in great hands- Christie was very friendly and clearly a cat lover! She sent daily written updates along with photos and videos which we really appreciated while being away. Our flat was immaculate upon return, with Cassie and Willow very relaxed and content! Thank you very much Christie.”

About: I grew up in a household filled with many pets, mainly dogs (we had nine dogs at one point), as well as cats, reptiles, birds and fish, so caring for pets has always been second nature to me. I’ve recently returned to the UK after a year in Australia, where I discovered my love for pet and house sitting. It quickly became one of my favourite ways to travel, and I’m excited to continue doing it now that I’m back home. I’m a compassionate, considerate, and conscientious person who finds looking after other people’s pets and homes deeply rewarding. I’ve cared for many dog breeds — including spaniels, dachshunds, pit bulls, retrievers, poodles, and greyhounds — each with their own personalities and needs, from lively puppies to gentle seniors. I’m comfortable administering medication and have plenty of experience with anxious pets and rescue animals. I love long walks and hikes, and having a furry companion along for the adventure is always a highlight. I also take great pride in keeping homes clean, tidy, and well cared for while owners are away. If you feel I might be the perfect fit for your pets, I’d love to hear from you! I’m self-employed and work remotely, which means I have a very flexible schedule and can be available any day of the week. I can easily fit pet care around my work, allowing me to spend plenty of quality time with your pets throughout the day. Whether it’s a midday walk, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I’m able to give them the attention they need whenever they need it. When house sitting, I make sure pets feel comfortable and secure in their own space by keeping to their usual routines. Feeding times, walks, favourite toys, bedtime rituals. I treat every home with respect, keep things clean and tidy, and send regular updates so you know your pets are happy and cared for. For dog walks, I tailor each outing to suit their energy and personality, whether that’s a gentle stroll or a lively run around the park. Walks are a great opportunity for exercise and stimulation, so I make sure every dog gets the attention they deserve.

“Thaisa was fantastic in every way. Reliable, wonderful feedback daily and so loving with Boo. I have had the most positive experience and recommend Thaisa without any persevations. Would use her services again without a doubt”

About: I live in central Tunbridge Wells, a few minutes walk away from a great park/field and the woods. I have a small dog myself, who I absolutely adore, and would love to help out anyone who needs their beloved pet looking after. I have had my dog for 12 years and have looked after many friends pets whilst they have gone on holiday; so I have plenty of experience in both Dog Walking and looking after small dogs in my home. Whilst looking after your pet I’ll happily send you updates and photos / videos. I work from home so will be around all the time whilst sitting. I absolutely love animals (probably more than humans!) So your pet is in safe and loving hands with me (please read my reviews). WALKS: our new furry friend can be walked up to three times a day (depending on requirements), so they are never bored and will enjoy going to different parks / walks / woods. If you advise, then I’ll keep your dog on the lead, your pooch will get lots of love and fun staying with us 🥰🐶🐱❤️ I currently work from home so you Dog will be continuously supervised. We can work with you to agree a schedule. Always happy to help. I live in a flat, but have a fenced/gated communal garden. Your dog will have the company of my dog who is very patient and experienced in having furry friends over. Your dog will never be left on their own.

“Liam has been wonderfully attentive with Juniper, and has taken care to keep us updated all day. We were reassured we always knew what she was doing and that she was well looked after. She even appeared unsure she wanted to leave at the end of the day. 🥲 Thank you, Liam!”

About: I have my own dog, Truffle, who is nearly four. Prior to that I dog sat for friends and on Rover for several years. I’ve looked after dogs of all age and sizes. I also grew up with cats and have a cat (Clarence). I am looking to get out the house more as I work from home most of the time and only moved to Tunbridge wells last year - typically I wouldn’t bring truffle as she doesn’t always get on with new dogs but perhaps with the right ones I could also be available to take them on our lunch walk. Truff has had some behaviour issues with barrier reactivity that we’ve been working on so I definitely understand how to adapt to different dogs needs and have become quite adept at reading their body language. Please message - I’m happy to share any additional info and to be flexible around your needs (although my lunch walk is reserved for Truff so ideally would be mornings and evenings to start and then happy to introduce lunch for the right match) :) I am mostly looking to do walks and drop ins which I would do without truffle but also open to doggy day care for calm dogs as truffle usually adapts pretty well when she learns that another dog isn’t a threat (we would keep Clarence seperate and truffle can get on with most dogs usually smaller ones) I work from home (except for two days each month). We usually go for our walks between 11-1300. We go for an average of 45 mins with a mixture of sniffs, training and playing. I would be able to Come before 9 or after 5 to take your pupper out for similar adventures or to drop in and give attention and anything they need. I am very neat and tidy and would treat your home as if it were my own just before visitors are arriving (if you knew me you’d understand this is the highest standard!). I am also a strong communicator and always ensure the plan is clear
“Ana was the first person to look after our 4-month-old puppy, and he clearly had a wonderful time. Ana sent me regular photos/updates, and when I came to collect our puppy he was in no rush to go--he was having a lovely time with Ana and her dog! I am looking forward to booking Ana again and I know my puppy is too.”

“Jen and her family are stars! Ottie is clearly looked after so well, as if she's Jen's own dog. You can tell ottie feels safe and relaxed from how she pulls up Jen's road whenever we walk past! Thank you Jen!”

“Totally lovely lady, Millie is a very anxious girl and hates being separated from me but she warmed to Rebecca after a few minutes.. she enjoyed her walks and cuddles and fell asleep when we got home. Will definitely be using this lady again. She sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. I was so thankful she was so kind. Thank you so much”

“Sarah looked after Rain for the first time yesterday and he had such a lovely day. She was really friendly, took the time to understand his routine beforehand, and it’s clear she’s great with dogs as he warmed to her straight away. She kept us updated with a photo during the day (she asked how many photos we’d like to see), and when we picked him up he was happy, relaxed and had clearly had a brilliant time. It was also lovely knowing he’d been out walking on the Common, one of his favourite places. We’ve already booked Rain in for a week with Sarah while we’re on holiday and feel really confident he’ll be in great hands. We’d happily recommend her!!”

“Olivia looked after our dog Molly for us for the day at relatively short notice when we had to be out of town. She was very helpful and responsive, and Molly clearly had a great time staying with her. We would recommend her unreservedly and will no doubt book with her again.”

“Cannot recommend joanna enough! Thank you once again for taking wonderful care of our puppy and treating her like your own! Wonderful care, lots of updates, and Dottie had great fun! Will definitely be using joanna again! X”

About: I have owned dogs my entire life from German Shepards and Greyhounds as a child to labradors, long-haired Shepherds, Spaniels and rescue mixes as an adult. I love them in all shapes and sizes and am extremely experienced in their care. I also enjoy training dogs whether it's the very basics, brushing up on old tricks, or tackling something like dog agility! My father both bred Greyhounds and owned a Greyhound rescue, and he taught me a huge amount about dog behaviour and dog training as a young girl. I have trained my own dogs and those of others as a lifelong hobby and occasionally as a career. I have plenty of time to play and care for your dogs! I don't work at the moment so have a lot of flexibility in when I can be available. I am most flexible Monday - Wednesdays, but can find time on most days and when it comes to pet care I will always make it my priority! I have a fenced garden, access to a large fenced community garden, and am very close to lovely woodland walking routes which I have explored many times in the past with my own dogs and those belonging to others. I sadly lost my lab last year at the ripe old age of 15, so I don't currently have a pooch at home giving your pup the run of the house!

I’m confident with walks, routines and making sure dogs feel comfortable and happy. I’m reliable, caring and enjoy giving dogs the exercise, attention and company they need while you’re busy or away. I’m currently between jobs, so I have a very flexible schedule and can offer walks throughout the day during weekdays and weekends. This means I’m available for regular walks, last-minute bookings, and different routine times to suit your dog’s needs. I’m happy to follow your usual routine, walking preferences and any instructions carefully. I’ll always make sure dogs are secure on walks, well cared for, and given plenty of attention.
“Cecily was great, very responsive and asked lots of important questions both before collection and during the day. It was a short notice booking but we could tell our spaniel was in safe hands!”
“Veronica is a lovely, warm lady who clearly loves dogs. The home is warm and comfortable and Dogly settled immediately. I could tell from the photos and video that Dogly was quite content.”

“Julie is a delight to deal with - she's efficient, very communicative, warm and friendly. She looked after our Toller, Bertie, for the day so they could get to know each other before longer stays later in the year. We could see from the photos and messages Julie sent us throughout the day that Bertie had a wow of a time. She took a lot of care to make Bertie feel at home. We now feel totally confident about planning holidays knowing Bertie can have a wonderful holiday of his own with”

About: I’ve always had dogs in the family and longed for one of my own! As soon as we could, we left London to get a house in the country so we could get our own puppy! Our Ruby has the best temperament and is always looking for a furry friend to play with! As she’s such a gentle soul, she good with dogs of all sizes and ages! I currently work from home on weekdays except Tuesdays (when I have to be in the office). My hours are flexible and we have Knights Wood 5 minutes round the corner. This gives me plenty of time to dedicate to watching and playing with pups as well as giving them a good walk as often as they need it! We walk our Ruby for up to 3 hours everyday. I have a medium sized enclosed back garden, but Knights Wood round the corner which is great for walks. Inside the home, like our Ruby, all furry visitors will be welcome on the furniture and all round the house!

“Rebecca made me feel so at ease from the very beginning - it being my first booking on Rover. She kept me informed and updated throughout the sit and I was sent loads of pics showing just how relaxed Tommy was in her care. I booked her again that same week! Will definitely use again and am so glad I found someone I can trust.”

“Jamie looked after our 5 month old puppy, Bruno. First time for us using Rover and we couldn’t be more happy. Got lots of updates of Bruno and George playing. George is such a sweet natured boy, specially to put up with a puppy boxer dog. Thank you! Already booked again :)”

“Absolutely wonderful! Anya is a true dog lover, and made Olga feel right at home. I got regular updates and photographs of Olga out and about, snuggling in Anya’s bed, and huddled together on the couch with the family. Would recommend 100%, and will definitely be sending Olga there again”

“Sarah took an amazing care of Berni and we can highly recommend her! Berni was happy and comforted and I it looks like he had a great time with Sarah! Very good communication. We will book Sarah again.”

“So pleased we’ve found Laura to take care of our cocker, Ollie. He had such a good time he’s actually been moping around today and sighing at us 😂 We got lots of pictures and videos and Laura kept us fully up to date with how he was doing and what he was up to. Real peace of mind. I can tell he’s looking forward to his next stay!”

We have a big detached house with a secure garden. If you have a crate you are welcome to provide this alternatively we can throw down a dog bed in a choice of rooms. We have a footpath right outside our front door leading to many adventures.

About: I’ve cared for animals for many years through owning pets myself and regularly helping friends with pet sitting and walking their dogs.
“Joanna was amazing. It was our first time using Rover and she was incredible. We did a meet & greet beforehand and the whole process was super easy and smooth. Joanna was very easy to communicate with and kept us fully informed how things were going with regular pictures and videos. Cannot recommend highly enough :-) Thank you Joanna and Fuet!”

“Sarah was a great sitter. She really cared for Willow and took her on lovely woodland walks. She kept me updated which made me feel like Willow was safe and happy. I would recommend Sarah as a sitter and I would use her services again. Many thanks! Rosie and Willow.”

About: I’ve had family pets for as long as I can remember, particularly my two best friends: a cocker spaniel named Louie and a wonderful lady cockapoo called Bonnie. I understand dogs’ behaviours and their unique personalities, and I’m able to tailor my care to any pup and whatever quirks yours might have. I look forward to treating your dog as one of my own. 🐾🐶 I recently finished studying to become an engineer and now work a graduate job remotely from home, so I’m around throughout the day for plenty of walks and attention. My partner also works from home part-time as a freelancer, which means your dog will rarely be left alone and will always have company. We’re both active, too, so there’s plenty of exercise on offer in the evenings and at weekend I look after dogs in my own home, where they’ll be safe, comfortable, and well supervised throughout the day. We have a new-build home with a large garden that’s fully secure, enclosed by two-metre fences, so your dog can play, explore, and relax safely off-lead without any worries. With both my partner and me working from home, there’s almost always someone around to keep an eye on things and offer company. I’m also happy to follow any specific routine your dog needs, whether that’s a unique diet or a particular medication schedule, and I’ll stick to your instructions closely so your dog stays healthy, settled, and cared for just as they would be at home.
“Chris and Gill were absolutely fabulous! As it was our wedding, Chris even picked our pup Tilly up from the location and was so sweet waiting for us to take some last pictures too. Tilly and Murphy got on great and played chase together and they also took her on a lovely walk before we've picked her up. Would not hesitate to book again ❤️”

About: As a family, we have always had dogs which has given me endless happy memories throughout my childhood. Mainly they were larger breeds, such as two Dobermans, a Dalmatian, and now a German Shorthaired Pointer, so I am very comfortable with big breeds - I respect their size and grace, and the extra big cuddles they give! More recently, I have happily become the Auntie to a miniature Daschund too. Whatever their size, there is something about dogs that brings me comfort - during stressful times (particularly while training at the moment), all it takes is time with a dog to make me feel calmer. Even while doing the more effortful jobs, as I am the designated pooper-scooper! Having grown up in the countryside, my partner (Elliot) and I very much miss the company of animals and love any opportunity to look after or interact with one. A house is definitely not a home without a dog! With all of our dogs, I have been involved in plenty of puppy training, including our gun-dog trainer GSP. I understand the resilience, hard-work and patience it can take but the reward in the end is priceless. Whatever the breed, do drop me a message as I would love to help you out while also getting my furry fix! I currently am studying for a doctorate in clinical psychology where I am placement for 3 days a week then have lectures on 2 days. I often work from home and love very relaxed weekends doing long walks and wholesome activities with my partner, Elliot. It would be lovely to have a pet to keep us company while working from home or during those chilled weekends! We have a good size garden with plenty of grass for the necessary toilet needs, ball time, and stick throwing! It is secure for medium/big dogs - for those much smaller friends we would be extra careful to either keep them close or keep them on a long lead in the garden, in case they cleverly find a hole we weren’t aware of!
“Rheid looked after my dog, Kiko, for the day and was absolutely brilliant. Rheid was friendly, reliable and clearly very caring. Kiko took a shine to her immediately. Kiko was happy, relaxed and well looked after. Receiving photos of their adventures gave me real peace of mind. I would happily recommend Rheid to anyone looking for kind and trustworthy dog care, and I’d definitely use her again.”

“Clara has been to stay with Keely twice now, I get photo updates at least once a day and feel confident that Clara is happy and well cared for when there. I will happily use Keely again to take care of Clara”
