About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up in South Africa, we always had both dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I currently have a friendly and energetic 5-year-old Jack Russell called Frank, who loves walks, playtime and making new doggy friends. Looking after Frank has given me plenty of experience with active dogs and, most importantly, an understanding that every dog has their own personality, routine and individual needs. I have plenty of time to give your dog attention, exercise, cuddles and companionship throughout their stay. I understand how important it is for dogs to feel comfortable and settled when they're away from home, so I'll do my best to keep their normal routine and follow any instructions you provide. I'm available at weekends and would love to care for your dog while you're away. I have a beautiful woodland area right behind my home, which is perfect for exciting walks and adventures, as well as a fully secure, enclosed garden where dogs can safely play, explore or simply relax. I'm also happy to administer medication if needed and will always follow your dog's usual routine and any special instructions to make sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for. I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone else, and I want you to have complete peace of mind while you're away. In the late afternoon, we'll head out for another walk through the beautiful wooded area behind our home, helping your pooch relax and settle in for a comfortable evening. I'm committed to making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and right at home while you're away. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. My dog, Frank, is a much-loved member of my family and lives indoors with me, so any dog staying with me will be treated just like one of my own. My home has a secure, fully enclosed back garden where dogs can safely play and explore. I understand how important routine is, so I'll do my best to follow your dog's usual schedule, including feeding times, walks, medication, and any special care instructions. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and owner of a big, very lovable Labrador, so I know just how much our dogs are part of the family. I’m confident with larger dogs, enthusiastic walkers and those who are particularly enthusiastic about food! I’m calm, sensible and reliable, and very happy getting out for a proper walk rather than simply doing a quick lap around the block. Most importantly, I know how much trust is involved in leaving your dog with somebody else. I’ll look after your dog as I’d want someone to look after mine, with plenty of attention, affection and reassurance, and I’m always happy to keep you updated while they’re with me. I have two cats so any dog coming to stay needs to be on good terms with cats and does not chew furniture! I work from home, so dogs can fit very naturally into my day. They’ll have company throughout the day, access to the garden and a proper lunchtime walk, usually in one of the two parks close to my home. My own Labrador is always around too, so there’s plenty of opportunity for play, company and snoozing afterwards. I have a safe, fully fenced grassed garden and a friendly five-year-old Labrador who loves having company. Dogs are welcome to make themselves at home and will be treated as part of the family while they’re here. I’ll follow your usual routines around feeding, walks and rest, and I’m very happy to accommodate individual needs. About: I am new to Rover however, as a Dachshund owner myself and having had and looked after dogs my whole life, I will provide your pet a safe, warm and loving home whilst you are away. I only accept one Dachshund at a time. I will only have one Dachshund at a time so your pet will have my full care and attention alongside my own pet. I provide day boarding or cover for holidays. I have one miniature Dachshund called Rosie so your pet will always have a gentle play mate to have fun with. I will always try to match your home routine eg breakfast time, length of walks, favourite treats etc so that your sausage will settle and feel at home. I am within a mile of a reputable vet if any medication is needed. A meet and greet is welcomed before you decide to commit to a booking with me. I have a secure fenced large garden and plenty of beautiful countryside on hand if your pet would like additional walks. My house is single storey and there are no areas that your pet is not welcome…even on the couch! I have plenty of toys and bedding but I’m happy for you to bring along whatever you need for your pet to make them feel at home. If required I send pictures and updates whilst you are away so you can relax and enjoy yourself knowing that your pet is having a wonderful time too!!

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, especially larger dogs, but I’m just as fond of smaller furry friends too. Until recently, I had two Staffordshire Bull Terriers who sadly passed away due to old age and cancer. I also have a 5 year old hermann tortoise who loves to roam. Caring for my own pets has given me plenty of experience, patience, and a genuine love for animals. Although I miss having them around, it’s also why I’d love the opportunity to care for other people’s pets, giving them the same attention, affection, and care that I gave my own. I currently work full time so to unwind I would love the opportunity to be able to pet other peoples animals and walk them and get a bit closer to nature. About: I have had cats for the majority of my life so I have a lot of experience with them. I currently have three cats, one of them crazy, one chilled out and the other one somewhere in between. “Reliable and came round to meet me and my dog before hand to reassure me and allow me to explain Twiggy’s quirks. Very flexible and responded quickly. Was confident and did an assessment of a twiggy when we met and clearly has an interest and love of animals. She and Twiggy went out in the out in the pouring rain and she put a Twiggy’s coat on and dried her off afterwards and made sure she was warm”

About: I have dog sat over the years mainly for family and from a young age took up dog walking for family friends. I took up dog sitting on a casual basis shortly after I moved into my own place in Paddock Wood in 2022 as we would love to have a dog of our own but with my job at the time it wasn't possible full time so I decided to offer my services on weekends/evenings to others when they need someone to look after their fur babies. I can offer doggy day care, drop ins, house sits & boarding within the Paddock Wood and surrounding areas. Since joining Rover in 2023 I have provided care for over 15 dogs. Please feel free to drop me a message if you require my services or have any questions at all! I do always offer meet and greets for newcomers so they are familiar with me before their stay etc. and can also offer regular walks/meet and greets for any anxious pups that require a little more time to get to know a new sitter. I have recently moved into my own home with my partner and we would love to have a furry friend to take on walks and give us company around the house as with our working schedules at the moment having a doggy of our own isn't possible. My home is set back in a private road with a fenced secure garden area and there are no children or other pets living with us.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and owner of a big, very lovable Labrador, so I know just how much our dogs are part of the family. I’m confident with larger dogs, enthusiastic walkers and those who are particularly enthusiastic about food! I’m calm, sensible and reliable, and very happy getting out for a proper walk rather than simply doing a quick lap around the block. Most importantly, I know how much trust is involved in leaving your dog with somebody else. I’ll look after your dog as I’d want someone to look after mine, with plenty of attention, affection and reassurance, and I’m always happy to keep you updated while they’re with me. I have two cats so any dog coming to stay needs to be on good terms with cats and does not chew furniture! I work from home, so dogs can fit very naturally into my day. They’ll have company throughout the day, access to the garden and a proper lunchtime walk, usually in one of the two parks close to my home. My own Labrador is always around too, so there’s plenty of opportunity for play, company and snoozing afterwards. I have a safe, fully fenced grassed garden and a friendly five-year-old Labrador who loves having company. Dogs are welcome to make themselves at home and will be treated as part of the family while they’re here. I’ll follow your usual routines around feeding, walks and rest, and I’m very happy to accommodate individual needs. I would always want our dogs to meet first to make sure they’re comfortable together before their first stay.

Cosmo has separation anxiety but she kept him company whilst ensuring she gave him his space when he wanted it. She kept me up to date, sent me photos, and was responsive. About: I have experience caring for dogs for family and friends, including feeding, walking, and supervising my sister’s dog and my mum’s friend’s dogs. I'm available in the weekdays. I play football on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday's football is in the morning but I'm free the rest of the day, afternoon onwards. Saturday's I'm free if I have no game or there is a season break. I give pets plenty of attention, take them on long walks, and always make sure they have fresh water, comfortable and are well cared for.
