Liv did a great job looking after our black Labrador Raffa. She came round before we went on holiday and we went through everything thoroughly, she turned up exactly on time on the day we left. Whilst on holiday she kept us informed with messages and photos. We came back to a happy dog and an immaculate house. We would definitely use Liv again. Nigel and Paulette

About: 🐾 I had the great joy of sharing nine wonderful years with my Romanian rescue dog, Bernie Bones, who we sadly lost July 2025. We adopted him when he was one-ish and went through everything together - navigating the challenges of behavioural issues to his playful teenage years and finally to managing his complex health issues as he grew older and slowed right down. Caring for dogs comes naturally to me, and life feels a little empty without our buddy around. I grew up alongside dogs (+ cats) and have always looked after friends’ pups when they’ve been away - I genuinely enjoy their company! My partner Ross and I both work from home, and have the time to care for your dog alongside our day jobs, we also have experience with rescues and supporting anxious dogs. While we’re not quite ready to bring a new dog into our family, we’d love to welcome yours and give them the same love and dedication we gave our own. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply snoozing on the sofa, we’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for ❤️ New To Rover? Use the link below to receive 15% off your first booking with me https://www.rover.com/sit/zoetho958837 Ross and I both work from home during the week and have fairly regular weekday work routines. Morning + lunch walks are usually shorter and focused on getting out, stretching legs, and toilet breaks. End-of-day walks are longer and more relaxed, often up to an hour or more depending on your dog’s energy levels and preferences. Please check my calendar for up-to-date availability, and feel free to reach out to discuss any specific requests. I can sometimes be flexible and move things around where possible to make bookings work. Your dog will have a calm, homely space to relax. We’re a child-free couple with no other pets, so your pup gets all the attention 🐶 Before any first-time booking, I always arrange a meet-and-greet. It’s a great chance for you to visit our home if you would like to see where your dog will be staying. Or we can meet in a park for a walk - your preference! We offer: 🌳 Fully fenced and secure garden 🛋️ Dogs are welcome everywhere in our home 🐾 for boarding - only one dog at a time, or multiple from the same household. For walks up to two dogs, but I will discuss with you first to ensure your dog is happy with others, or can arrange solo walks. 🏠 Your dog will never be left alone, unless you’ve given us the go-ahead 🚶‍♀️ In the park, dogs stay on-lead until I’m confident in their recall I use gentle, reward-based training methods and focus on positive reinforcement, calm handling, and building trust. It’s really important to me that dogs feel safe and relaxed in my care. Because of this, I’m not the right fit for owners who use alternative methods, including the use of aversive tools such as choke chains and prong collars. If you’re unsure whether we’d be a good match, please feel free to reach out - I’m always happy to have a chat first.

Michael has been brilliant throughout the process from booking to the actual sit. Jed is a very anxious and reactive dog with new people, particularly in the home. This was explained to Michael and he listened to all our advice and made a great effort to understand Jed’s needs. He gave up his time to come for a meet and greet, plus meeting us for a dog walk, to meet Jed and try build an early bond. Jed was unfortunately a little reactive on the walk, but this never swayed Micheal to his credit. He’s a really friendly and attentive person and it’s clear his enjoys being with dogs. The sit went well and considering Jed isn’t that easy at first, he persevered and by the end of it Jed seems to have relaxed a tad with him. The lovely long walk he took him on would’ve certainly helped :) Communication with Michael is very easy and he sends lots of updates throughout, including nice pictures and videos. All in all it was a great experience and I hope we will be using him again, so he can continue to forge a friendship with Jed :) I would absolutely recommend Michael, an honest and reliable dog sitter, which on this app is not easy to find. We look forward to seeing Michael again.

Thank you Arran for looking after Ruby so well, and our home, while we were away. We had lots of photo updates and were able to enjoy our holiday knowing Ruby was in safe hands. Would definitely recommend as a trusted sitter. Thank you Arran.

Endless supply of positive reviews for Amanda. She is so responsible (provides countless pet updates, which is important for an anxious cat mom like myself!), kind and patient (my cat Atlas is very shy), and extremely tidy. I’m so pleased with Amanda!

About: I have looked after dogs for 5 years and had a long hair dachshund of my own who I was very close to. I have had lots of experience with different breeds. I currently work part time mid week and on a Sunday. I can fit in dog walks both ends of the day and have all day Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays to house sit. I have grown up children. I can look after your animals how they have been used to and give them all the care and love needed as if they are my own.

Robert was wonderful with our Peanut and his experience shone through immediately. He was helpful, quick in response and it was a relief to be able to leave Peanut in the hands of someone so capable and calm. It was lovely to receive updates with photos and videos throughout and our Peanut so relaxed. Would definitely recommend Robert and happy to rebook with him.

About: Zoology and Animal Behaviour Degree, First Aid and DBS checked. Finding someone to care for your pet when you can't is always a worry, as a dog and cat owner myself I can thoroughly relate and I offer services tailored to you and your pets' routine. I have been caring for clients, friends and family's pets for over seven years now, this includes: dogs, cats, small furies and reptiles. Having historically worked in a animal rescue, I'm pretty certain I've seen it all, from caring and raising new-born pups to providing palliative care for special seniors, administering medications and dealing with reactivity. At the moment, I work part time for a charity and fill the rest of my time doing what I love, which includes a lot of dog related activities. I travel the UK to raise awareness of the vulnerable native dogs breeds in the UK and compete at Crufts annually both to show and take part in Discover Dogs, in addition to other kennel club schemes. I have often had dogs come to stay and they always thoroughly enjoy a trip to our family farm where they can run through acres of grass and woodland or take a paddle in the lake. I am completely flexible and happy to work around you and your pet's needs by adjusting my schedule to fit your pet's routine. My house is a calm environment, I like to tire dogs out on walks and with stimulation in the home to that they are happy and satisfied to minimise stress. I have fenced garden and offer supervised outdoor playtime or sunbathing (weather/heat permitting). We have set meal times and my dogs are fantastic at calming any nervous individuals with their happy-go-lucky attitudes and love having other dogs come to stay and walk with. In any emergency our vets is just down the road.

Millie was an absolute lifesaver, taking my request for a long day’s dog sitting literally the evening before as I was called to work in London the next day. She looked after BOTH my Great Dane AND my daughter’s Chihuahua who is staying with me for a couple of weeks. Needless to say the Chihuahua is more of a handful. Lots of lovely updates through the day and 2 super happy dogs when I got home. Millie is amazing and I’d love to book her again. Next time will just be Moira! Thank you so much, Millie.👍😁

Anna was a fantastic sitter to our senior cat Simon. She was reliable before the sit, asked all the right questions and I felt confident that she would look after him well. Simon has kidney disease and needs meds and Anna arrived in good time so that I could settle her in and give her a briefing of what needed to be done. Whilst we were away, she sent lovely photos and updates and asked questions if anything needed clarification, to be sure to do the right thing by Simon. We came back to a clean house and a settled and calm kittie which was great. We were really happy with Anna's care of Simon and would definitely use her again.
