About: Hi! I’m a responsible and caring dog lover with personal experience owning and looking after dogs. I understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you can trust, and I’ll treat your pet with the same care, patience, and attention I would give my own. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, including walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I’ll take the time to get to know your dog’s personality and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and settled while you’re away. I’m reliable, attentive, and respectful of your home and your pet’s individual needs. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, relaxing at home, or simply having someone around for company, I’ll make sure they receive the care and attention they deserve. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your dog and help give you peace of mind while you’re away! I only recently lost my own dog and have decided to try pet sitting for a while before I consider getting another of my own. I currently work full-time from home but have plenty of time for walks and play. I would relish the company. I can also work remotely at your house. I have a long fenced and secure garden. I also back onto a field where there are lovely walking paths. If I am sitting at your home I will be happy to follow your routine.
“Liv did a great job looking after our black Labrador Raffa. She came round before we went on holiday and we went through everything thoroughly, she turned up exactly on time on the day we left. Whilst on holiday she kept us informed with messages and photos. We came back to a happy dog and an immaculate house. We would definitely use Liv again. Nigel and Paulette”

“I can’t recommend Kay highly enough. Kay looked after my fur babies whilst I went on a 10 day trip and the care and love she showed them was great. Unfortunately Kay had to deal with two poorly dogs whilst I was away and she really went over and above to ensure they received the best care and attention as if they were own. She kept me updated daily with their progress and I knew they were in the best hands. I have already booked Kay again for another trip and I know that they will again receive 5* care. Thank you Kay!! xx”

“This was my first time using Rover to find someone to house and dog sit. Keely replied to my request very quickly. The app I found a bit troublesome as it would not permit me access to messages. So, I used text messages instead. Keely was very accommodating which was much appreciated as we had some last min changes to timing and arrangements. My 2 dogs were very excited on our return and seemed happy and content. Keely kept me informed and sent photos of them on walks and tucked up sleeping. I can only apologise for not leaving the WiFi code. I did try sending a photo copy but it was not successful :( .... Lesson learned on my account.”

About: 🐾 I had the great joy of sharing nine wonderful years with my Romanian rescue dog, Bernie Bones, who we sadly lost July 2025. We adopted him when he was one-ish and went through everything together - navigating the challenges of behavioural issues to his playful teenage years and finally to managing his complex health issues as he grew older and slowed right down. Caring for dogs comes naturally to me, and life feels a little empty without our buddy around. I grew up alongside dogs (+ cats) and have always looked after friends’ pups when they’ve been away - I genuinely enjoy their company! My partner Ross and I both work from home, and have the time to care for your dog alongside our day jobs, we also have experience with rescues and supporting anxious dogs. While we’re not quite ready to bring a new dog into our family, we’d love to welcome yours and give them the same love and dedication we gave our own. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply snoozing on the sofa, we’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for ❤️ New To Rover? Use the link below to receive 15% off your first booking with me https://www.rover.com/sit/zoetho958837 Ross and I both work from home during the week and have fairly regular weekday work routines. Morning + lunch walks are usually shorter and focused on getting out, stretching legs, and toilet breaks. End-of-day walks are longer and more relaxed, often up to an hour or more depending on your dog’s energy levels and preferences. Please check my calendar for up-to-date availability, and feel free to reach out to discuss any specific requests. I can sometimes be flexible and move things around where possible to make bookings work. Your dog will have a calm, homely space to relax. We’re a child-free couple with no other pets, so your pup gets all the attention 🐶 Before any first-time booking, I always arrange a meet-and-greet. It’s a great chance for you to visit our home if you would like to see where your dog will be staying. Or we can meet in a park for a walk - your preference! We offer: 🌳 Fully fenced and secure garden 🛋️ Dogs are welcome everywhere in our home 🐾 for boarding - only one dog at a time, or multiple from the same household. For walks up to two dogs, but I will discuss with you first to ensure your dog is happy with others, or can arrange solo walks. 🏠 Your dog will never be left alone, unless you’ve given us the go-ahead 🚶♀️ In the park, dogs stay on-lead until I’m confident in their recall I use gentle, reward-based training methods and focus on positive reinforcement, calm handling, and building trust. It’s really important to me that dogs feel safe and relaxed in my care. Because of this, I’m not the right fit for owners who use alternative methods, including the use of aversive tools such as choke chains and prong collars. If you’re unsure whether we’d be a good match, please feel free to reach out - I’m always happy to have a chat first.

“Yevgeniia, was superb, from the first time she met Flo till the time we got back from being away, Flo was treated like a queen, nice photos and kept in touch to let us know how Flo was, the house was kept very immaculate, I would recommend Yevgeniia all day long, we will be in contact again to rebook Yevgeniia.”

“Phill did a great job looking after our two dogs. Pre our holiday Phil came and met dogs and then stopped in again just before we left. On the day of our departure Phil came early to ensure all set. Dogs warmed to him straight away and that includes our rescue who can be tricky with some people and especially men. Daily updates, comms and pictures sent throughout our 2 week holidays. Not only did Phil do a great job with the dogs but kept himself busy doing some painting around the house and in the garden painting our walls and steps which was great as jobs that have been meaning to do and now all done! All without asking Phil to do. House was also very clean with Phil doing a clean before we got home. Despite getting home in the early hours Phil stayed and waited for us to get home to make sure all good! We will definitely use Phil again and would recommend!”

“Cleo had a taster day with Jo which has put our mind at ease ahead of our holiday when she will be with her for 6 days. She sent pupdates and a photo during the day which was very reassuring. Cleo is very anxious around new people but she seemed to really like her.”

“We cannot recommend Amii highly enough! 🌟 She looked after our two very lively girls (a bouncy 2-year-old Staffy and an energetic 1-year-old Rottie) for three weeks while we were abroad for our wedding, and she was nothing short of incredible. From long adventurous walks, to snuggles on the sofa, to brain-training and fun activities — she truly went above and beyond to make sure they were loved, stimulated, and completely happy. It was such a comfort knowing they were in such safe and caring hands, especially being such high-energy pups. Ami kept us updated with photos and messages, so we could enjoy our wedding without worrying for a second. We came home to two very content, relaxed, and clearly well-loved dogs. If you’re looking for someone who treats your fur babies like family — Ami is the one. ❤️🐾 10/10, would book again without hesitation!”
