“This was my first time using Rover to find someone to house and dog sit. Keely replied to my request very quickly. The app I found a bit troublesome as it would not permit me access to messages. So, I used text messages instead. Keely was very accommodating which was much appreciated as we had some last min changes to timing and arrangements. My 2 dogs were very excited on our return and seemed happy and content. Keely kept me informed and sent photos of them on walks and tucked up sleeping. I can only apologise for not leaving the WiFi code. I did try sending a photo copy but it was not successful :( .... Lesson learned on my account.”

About: I have had dogs for the last 45 years starting with a German Shepherd and a Cocker Spaniel and for the last 36 years I have owned 7 English Bulldogs. I currently own a rescued 8 year old bulldog bitch who came with several issues. I have been undertaking house sitting for dogs for the last 8 years. Currently I have two regular customers. I have undertaken several longer term house sits in that time and asked back repeatedly by some pet owners. Looking after dogs and cats. I can work remotely and can be flexible with work hours so can go dog walking when needed. I'm available for house sits during the week and over weekends. With house sits, I work to the guidelines given by the pet owner. I like to meet up with clients and their pets before the house sit, so there is some familiarity or initial bond with animals before I start and also to go over routines and house layout. I communicate regularly with the pet owner while they are away to give updates and send pictures.
