About: I have had both cats and dogs in my life since I was very young - With experience of house sitting for village friends and close family and friends. I absolutely love getting to know each pet and their funny little personalities. I regularly dog sit for friends who go away for a period of time - I don’t currently have any pets that are living with me so any fur friends I care for have my full attention. I’m currently working 9 to 5 Mon - Fri but I am available most weekends starting from Friday evenings. I am also available to walk dogs or check in first thing in the morning before work and after work throughout the week. I work local to Marden so if there is a need for someone to check in on a pet around the area, I am free to do so. If needed, I can care for pets in my own home however, I do have limited space so I can only cater for small to medium sized dogs - I have a small court yard garden however there are miles of fields that surround me for long walks.

We contacted Abby at extremely late notice for care for our dog, Penny, owing to plans having fallen through. Abbey coordinated a meet to ensure Penny was comfortable and confirmed she could look after Penny for us. Whilst away, Abbey communicated regularly, giving us updates of Penny. She really looked after her, Penny has clearly had a great time and I’d absolutely return to Abbey if we ever find ourselves needing care cover again. Thank you so much.

Before they arrive, we have a proper chat about meal times, walks, naps, favourite toys, the things that scare them, the treats they live for. Then I do everything I can to keep their days feeling familiar. Expect a lovely long walk (or a gentle poodle, depending on what suits them), plenty of garden time, lots of one-to-one cuddles, and a very generous amount of sofa time with me. Whatever they need to feel safe, settled and loved. 5 star reviews on Google A cosy home, a secure garden, and their own private bedroom Bedrock Manor is a cosy, lived-in family home. Soft sofas, a fully secure garden, and some of the most beautiful woodland walks right on the doorstep. Your dog/s have their own dedicated boarders' bedroom — two windows, tiled floors, proper luxury beds, and their own quiet little feeding spot. It's their safe space whenever they want it. About: Zoology and Animal Behaviour Degree, First Aid and DBS checked. Finding someone to care for your pet when you can't is always a worry, as a dog and cat owner myself I can thoroughly relate and I offer services tailored to you and your pets' routine. I have been caring for clients, friends and family's pets for over seven years now, this includes: dogs, cats, small furies and reptiles. Having historically worked in a animal rescue, I'm pretty certain I've seen it all, from caring and raising new-born pups to providing palliative care for special seniors, administering medications and dealing with reactivity. At the moment, I work part time for a charity and fill the rest of my time doing what I love, which includes a lot of dog related activities. I travel the UK to raise awareness of the vulnerable native dogs breeds in the UK and compete at Crufts annually both to show and take part in Discover Dogs, in addition to other kennel club schemes. I have often had dogs come to stay and they always thoroughly enjoy a trip to our family farm where they can run through acres of grass and woodland or take a paddle in the lake. I am completely flexible and happy to work around you and your pet's needs by adjusting my schedule to fit your pet's routine. My house is a calm environment, I like to tire dogs out on walks and with stimulation in the home to that they are happy and satisfied to minimise stress. I have fenced garden and offer supervised outdoor playtime or sunbathing (weather/heat permitting). We have set meal times and my dogs are fantastic at calming any nervous individuals with their happy-go-lucky attitudes and love having other dogs come to stay and walk with. In any emergency our vets is just down the road.

Sammy - due to my flexible work hours as a PhD student I can fit my hours around you and your dog, so they will get all my love and attention! Ben - Due to my job as a firefighter I have a lot of free time in between my shifts, time that I'm happy to fill meeting lots of different four legged pals! Dogs are welcome on the sofas and beds in our house as long as that fits in with your training regime for your pooch, we are flexible and will accommodate any requests you make to ensure your dog's safety and security.

About: Hello, I am Jess and I’m a gardener currently living on the Great Dixter estate while completing a year-long horticultural scholarship. I’ve spent the last few years working in gardening, community growing and farm environments, so I’m happiest outdoors and very comfortable around animals. I’m active, practical and reliable, and love a proper walk in all weathers – so dogs who enjoy getting out and exploring are very welcome! I drive, so I’m happy to take dogs further afield for countryside and woodland walks, or even trips to the coast and beach where appropriate and agreed with you. Alongside my scholarship, I’m available for dog walking, drop-ins and house sitting, particularly during evenings and weekends, with some flexibility. As a gardener, I’m also very happy to water plants and keep an eye on the garden while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home. I’m respectful, tidy and conscientious, will follow your pet’s usual routines carefully, and am always happy to send photos and updates while they’re in my care. I’m calm, reliable and genuinely love spending time outdoors with animals — whether that’s a gentle walk for an older dog or an energetic play session for a younger one. I always take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine, ensuring they feel safe, happy and cared for. If you’re looking for a trustworthy local carer who treats every pet as if they were their own, I’d love to help. With experience caring for a 5-year-old Labrador with cancer, I’m comfortable handling medication, managing special diets, and providing a calm, supportive environment for dogs with unique health concerns. My focus is always on your pet’s comfort and well-being, ensuring peace of mind while you're away. I’m currently based on the Great Dixter estate while completing a horticultural scholarship. My work is practical and outdoors-based, and I have flexibility around evenings, weekends and days off for walks, drop-ins and house sitting. I drive, so I’m also able to travel locally and can discuss what works best for your pet’s usual routine. I’m reliable, practical and respectful of both your pet and your home. I’ll always follow the routines and instructions you give me, including feeding, walks, medication, access to the house and any particular rules your pet is used to. I’ve worked in gardens, farms and community settings where being responsible, observant and safety-conscious is an important part of the job. I’m also very happy to send regular photos and updates while you’re away. In a pet owner’s home, I follow your specific instructions closely, keeping your dog in their regular environment where they feel most at ease. I stay vigilant about locking doors, monitoring their surroundings, and maintaining a safe, structured routine. Your dog’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities.

The updates we were sent showed our dog looking very content and she seemed quite at home when we picked her up. Abbey was really accomodating with drop off and pick up times too which was great for the day out we planned. We don't need a sitter often, but will absolutely look to book again when we do.

About: Hi, I’m Zimi! 🐶 I’ve been caring for pets for around 20 years, including running my own dog walking and pet sitting business and studying animal care in college. Along the way, I’ve had the joy of working with all kinds of pets, from playful puppies to older dogs, and even travelling across Europe helping large groups of rescue dogs. This gave me lots of experience reading dog body language, understanding different temperaments, and making sure every dog feels safe and happy. I have experience with training and mental stimulation with fun games! I also have my own rescue dog who is reactive, which has taught me a lot about patience, calm handling, and understanding anxious or shy dogs. Because of this, I’m especially good with dogs who need a little extra reassurance and care. Right now, I don’t host dogs at my home, but I love walking, visiting, and spending time with pets in their own environment, giving them plenty of love, attention, and fun while you’re away. I’m patient, attentive, and great at following routines. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or shy and slow-paced, I adjust my approach to suit their personality and needs. I’m especially comfortable with dogs who need a calm presence, extra reassurance, or gentle handling. I’m currently working part time with an incredibly flexible schedule, so please feel free to ask about any timings that you might need and we can go from there. I take the safety and wellbeing of every pet very seriously. Every walk, visit, and in-home stay is carefully planned to ensure your dog or cat feels secure, happy, and comfortable! I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and cues, so pets always feel supported and stress free. I provide a calm, structured environment, whether we’re walking outside, exploring new spaces, or staying at home. For pets with special needs, anxiety, or shyness, I’m especially attentive and patient, making sure routines are followed and pets feel safe. I communicate openly with owners, sending regular updates and photos so you always know your pet is happy and well cared for. Safety and trust are my top priorities, and I strive to create an environment where pets and their humans feel confident and relaxed. I am very empathetic and understand how hard it can be to leave your pet in someone else’s care, so I strive to deliver a service I myself would be happy with.

About: I'm a compassionate and reliable pet caregiver. I treat every animal as if they were my own, ensuring they get the exercise, affection, and routine they need to stay happy and healthy. I’m a firm believer that pets are family. Whether it’s a long walk in the woods or a quiet evening on the sofa, life is just better with a furry companion by your side. I am home with my furbabies enjoying walks and cuddles everyday. I offer quality care in my home for boarding dogs, and doggy visits. We treat every dog as one of the family. Our two friendly spaniels love to play in our big secure garden and explore the countryside around us. They enjoy meeting new friends and welcoming them into our home.

About: Current carer for 3 whippets. I have experience of bringing up puppies, caring for seniors, including with health issues and helping rescue dogs. Retired partner of Redhound. My wife and I are semi-retired so I can be very flexible. We have three whippets so the main consideration is ensuring they have care which we can manage between us For our dogs we ensure that the garden is secure and safe. Our road is quiet but we always put them on a lead when leaving the house, even if it us just to the car. We have a nervous rescue dog so do consider interaction with other dogs when meeting on walks.

Kellyanne was on time, the dogs immediately loved her and they came back very content :) Now both snuggled up in their bed fast asleep. Just what they needed! Kellyanne went above and beyond to help me out as one of the kids had 'borrowed' Annie's collar for their toy and was no where to be seen an hour before their walk. So Kellyanne bought her own collar for Annie to wear! We are so grateful. See you soon :)

I have studied dog behaviour and temperament for a wide variety of dog breeds, in all categories from working, pastoral, gundog, toy, terrier, and utility. About: Hello! I have over six years of experience working with animals and grew up with two dogs, so caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. I recently moved back from New York, where I looked after three dogs part-time alongside my acting career. I'm reliable, nurturing, and absolutely adore animals. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping your pet company, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. work from home with a highly flexible schedule, which allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and pet care. I also work as a performer, so much of my work involves auditions and self-taping from home, giving me plenty of time to provide attentive care and regular updates to pet owners. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always follow the owner's routine as closely as possible. In a pet owner's home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention, and I keep owners updated with photos and messages. I also respect the owner's home and leave everything clean and tidy. When caring for pets, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. I understand that every animal has a different personality and routine, so I take the time to get to know their individual needs and preferences.

About: I have had pets all throughout my life growing up. I have owned dogs for over 19 years and am used to looking after pets - mainly dogs, but also chickens, horses and cats. I currently work part-time and in a role where I can be mainly based at home. I live in an old house surrounded by lovely gardens and three acres of fields. I am close to many country walks and St Mary’s Bay beach is only 10 minutes drive from me. All dogs, like us humans, are different. Some prefer to be left in peace and quiet and others like company, some are very energetic and others are less so. How I care for your dog is entirely dependent on their preferences. And I have enough space in my home for them to roam quite freely and the great outdoors with fenced fields are merely seconds from our back door. I have enough space in my home to have 3 extra dogs with their own room.
