“Roz could not have taken greater care of Duke. From the moment we dropped Duke off, he was treated as part of the family. We always felt he was in safe hands. And the regular photos Roz shared clearly showed Duke was having a whale of a time. I can’t recommend Roz highly enough. And neither can Duke.”

About: I have had both cats and dogs in my life since I was very young - With experience of house sitting for village friends and close family and friends. I absolutely love getting to know each pet and their funny little personalities. I regularly dog sit for friends who go away for a period of time - I don’t currently have any pets that are living with me so any fur friends I care for have my full attention. I’m currently working 9 to 5 Mon - Fri but I am available most weekends starting from Friday evenings. I am also available to walk dogs or check in first thing in the morning before work and after work throughout the week. I work local to Marden so if there is a need for someone to check in on a pet around the area, I am free to do so. If needed, I can care for pets in my own home however, I do have limited space so I can only cater for small to medium sized dogs - I have a small court yard garden however there are miles of fields that surround me for long walks.

“We contacted Abby at extremely late notice for care for our dog, Penny, owing to plans having fallen through. Abbey coordinated a meet to ensure Penny was comfortable and confirmed she could look after Penny for us. Whilst away, Abbey communicated regularly, giving us updates of Penny. She really looked after her, Penny has clearly had a great time and I’d absolutely return to Abbey if we ever find ourselves needing care cover again. Thank you so much.”

“Joy was absolutely wonderful with Muffin! She was so attentive, caring, and kept me updated throughout the stay. I could tell Muffin was super happy and relaxed. Highly recommend Joy!”

I am a **licensed professional home boarder**, offering a calm, secure and highly personalised environment with individual attention, walks, companionship and care throughout their stay. My service is particularly suited to owners who value peace of mind and dogs who are happiest in a quiet, private environment rather than busy kennels or multi dog boarding. **One family , One home , Completely individual care alongside my own dogs. Bedrock manor like to keep your dogs normal routine, exactly as you like it I follow your dogs routine, not mine. Before they arrive, we have a proper chat about meal times, walks, naps, favourite toys, the things that scare them, the treats they live for. Then I do everything I can to keep their days feeling familiar. Expect a lovely long walk (or a gentle poodle, depending on what suits them), plenty of garden time, lots of one-to-one cuddles, and a very generous amount of sofa time with me. Whatever they need to feel safe, settled and loved. 5 star reviews on Google A cosy home, a secure garden, and their own private bedroom Bedrock Manor is a cosy, lived-in family home. Soft sofas, a fully secure garden, and some of the most beautiful woodland walks right on the doorstep. Your dog/s have their own dedicated boarders' bedroom — two windows, tiled floors, proper luxury beds, and their own quiet little feeding spot. It's their safe space whenever they want it. Though I'll be honest, most of my boarders spend a polite five minutes in there and the rest of their stay glued to me on the sofa. Which is exactly how I like it.

About: Zoology and Animal Behaviour Degree, First Aid and DBS checked. Finding someone to care for your pet when you can't is always a worry, as a dog and cat owner myself I can thoroughly relate and I offer services tailored to you and your pets' routine. I have been caring for clients, friends and family's pets for over seven years now, this includes: dogs, cats, small furies and reptiles. Having historically worked in a animal rescue, I'm pretty certain I've seen it all, from caring and raising new-born pups to providing palliative care for special seniors, administering medications and dealing with reactivity. At the moment, I work part time for a charity and fill the rest of my time doing what I love, which includes a lot of dog related activities. I travel the UK to raise awareness of the vulnerable native dogs breeds in the UK and compete at Crufts annually both to show and take part in Discover Dogs, in addition to other kennel club schemes. I have often had dogs come to stay and they always thoroughly enjoy a trip to our family farm where they can run through acres of grass and woodland or take a paddle in the lake. I am completely flexible and happy to work around you and your pet's needs by adjusting my schedule to fit your pet's routine. My house is a calm environment, I like to tire dogs out on walks and with stimulation in the home to that they are happy and satisfied to minimise stress. I have fenced garden and offer supervised outdoor playtime or sunbathing (weather/heat permitting). We have set meal times and my dogs are fantastic at calming any nervous individuals with their happy-go-lucky attitudes and love having other dogs come to stay and walk with. In any emergency our vets is just down the road.
About: Hello, I am Jess and I’m a gardener currently living on the Great Dixter estate while completing a year-long horticultural scholarship. I’ve spent the last few years working in gardening, community growing and farm environments, so I’m happiest outdoors and very comfortable around animals. I’m active, practical and reliable, and love a proper walk in all weathers – so dogs who enjoy getting out and exploring are very welcome! I drive, so I’m happy to take dogs further afield for countryside and woodland walks, or even trips to the coast and beach where appropriate and agreed with you. Alongside my scholarship, I’m available for dog walking, drop-ins and house sitting, particularly during evenings and weekends, with some flexibility. As a gardener, I’m also very happy to water plants and keep an eye on the garden while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home. I’m respectful, tidy and conscientious, will follow your pet’s usual routines carefully, and am always happy to send photos and updates while they’re in my care. I’m calm, reliable and genuinely love spending time outdoors with animals — whether that’s a gentle walk for an older dog or an energetic play session for a younger one. I always take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine, ensuring they feel safe, happy and cared for. If you’re looking for a trustworthy local carer who treats every pet as if they were their own, I’d love to help. With experience caring for a 5-year-old Labrador with cancer, I’m comfortable handling medication, managing special diets, and providing a calm, supportive environment for dogs with unique health concerns. My focus is always on your pet’s comfort and well-being, ensuring peace of mind while you're away. I’m currently based on the Great Dixter estate while completing a horticultural scholarship. My work is practical and outdoors-based, and I have flexibility around evenings, weekends and days off for walks, drop-ins and house sitting. I drive, so I’m also able to travel locally and can discuss what works best for your pet’s usual routine. I’m reliable, practical and respectful of both your pet and your home. I’ll always follow the routines and instructions you give me, including feeding, walks, medication, access to the house and any particular rules your pet is used to. I’ve worked in gardens, farms and community settings where being responsible, observant and safety-conscious is an important part of the job. I’m also very happy to send regular photos and updates while you’re away. In a pet owner’s home, I follow your specific instructions closely, keeping your dog in their regular environment where they feel most at ease. I stay vigilant about locking doors, monitoring their surroundings, and maintaining a safe, structured routine. Your dog’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities.
