About: I have always been surrounded by many pets, having grown up on a small holding, with equine, sheep and poultry. Grew up with Golden Retrievers and smaller breeds. Attended Plumpton College to study Animal Management - qualified Level 3. I work from home on the days when pets are in my care. I work for the NHS as an Estate Manager, my work is very flexible therefore my schedule will be altered to suit the care and presence of your pet. I have a 3 bed home in Battle, 20 minute walk to the village, close the Netherfield woods and have access to a vehicle to walk at alternative locations.

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life so am no stranger to man's best friend. I've looked after many family and friends pooches too so I have lots of experience caring, loving and entertaining dogs (I’m not shy of some rough playtime or a snuggle on the sofa!!) I am trustworthy, sensible and reliable - here for all of your needs - I’m active and love spending time outdoors, so I’d love to have your pooch join me and become part of my day. We can arrange a meet beforehand so that your mutt and myself are well acquainted. If boarding - we have a safe enclosed courtyard garden, meaning toilet breaks are never limited.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
