1. Amy O.

“As ever, Amy was a wonderful sitter. And a perfect houseguest. Pretty sure it was tidier coming back to than when we left! His Highness wasn't at all bothered about us being away. Which shows how happy he was. Cannot recommend Amy enough, especially if you are nervous when going away and leaving the boss/es.”

About: If you're looking for someone caring and reliable to board your beloved dog, help with walks, or offer daily check-ins — I’m here to help. I’ve had a deep love for dogs since childhood and have grown up surrounded by them. From family pets to our own fur babies, dogs have always been a big part of my life. I’m based in the beautiful Hastings Old Town, just a 10-minute walk from both the beach and the country park — perfect for all kinds of dog walks! Whether your pup enjoys a peaceful stroll or loves social adventures, I’ll tailor our outings to suit their personality and needs. We currently have an 8-month-old Labrador Retriever who’s the biggest softie and absolutely adores meeting and playing with other dogs. Sadly, we lost our lovely French Bulldog just before Christmas, leaving a big paw-shaped hole in our hearts. We also share our home with a friendly cat who spends most of her days exploring the woodland at the bottom of our garden. Our home is spacious and spread over five floors with a large, secure garden — plenty of room for dogs to run, relax, and feel at home. We're a family of four, including two children aged 13 and 7 who are gentle, experienced with animals, and absolutely love dogs. A little more about me: I work from home, so your dog will have company and care throughout the day — apart from quick 15-minute school runs in the morning and afternoon. I’ve owned and cared for many breeds over the years including Staffies, Labs, German Shepherds, Frenchies, Jack Russells, Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, and Rottweilers — from the tiniest lap dogs to the biggest gentle giants. I’m confident and comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’m happy to accommodate dogs of all ages. All I ask is that they are comfortable around other dogs, children, and have basic manners around the home 😉 If you have any questions or want to know more, feel free to reach out. I’d love to chat and see how I can support you and your four-legged friend 🐶❤️

Excellent service and will def use again 😊.”

5. Stephanie F.
“Stephanie would be an amazing caregiver for anybody’s pets!! Any time I’ve been around her house the love she gives her dog is next to nothing! Even around my cat, who isn’t the fondest of people, she’s amazing and incredible patient with her. Anyone’s pet would be super lucky to spend even a little bit of time with her!!!”

About: I truly enjoy simply being around animals, I’m happy to spend long periods of time keeping them company, giving them attention, and making sure they feel safe and cared for. I’m currently living at Ashburnham Place, and I’m happy to travel to nearby towns, just let me know a week in advance and I’ll do my best to be there. PS: please request a week in advance if it’s possible! As I need to arrange my working rota in Ashburnham, also, sadly, I’m no longer able to house sitting more than three consecutive days at one time, please send me a message to check the schedule, I’m available before the 1st of September, thank you very much☺️ I’d be happy to come and look after your pets and spend time with them. Please let me know their usual routines, and I’ll do my best to follow them so you don’t have to worry about them while you’re away.

11. Elizabeth B.
About: My canine niche is that I have experience with large and strong breeds with behavioural issues. I have significant experience with international rescues. I own 2 Romanian rescues myself and we foster for an international rescue so continually have dogs of all shapes and sizes in the house with a varying degree of temperament. As part of our fostering we have dealt with multiple dogs with complex reactivity. I have experience with dogs who've recently had an amputation or other medical procedures and cared for my sisters elderly staffy who had multiple amputations due to sever arthritis. I have many friends with cats who I have cat sit for before and am used to the nuance of cat ownership and care including the varying degrees of engagement with strangers, different play styles and needs. Pet care is my job and also my passion, I am not currently employed elsewhere and make my living from dog walking and pet visits. I will care for your pet in as close as to how you care for your pet. I will ask for a full breakdown of your own means of care for your cat or dog and relevant command words to ensure their experience is as close to a regular home experience. A walk will always aim to be an adventure for a dog, an exercise in both mental and physical stimulatiom with encouragement for engagement with the environment beyond walking.

12. Maryam D.
“She is incredibly I responsible, takes her time to really know the pet ,she is very thoughtful, attentive and full of heart ,sometimes I leave my dog to her ,I can’t think of anyone more than perfect to care for my pet than Maryam ,she is connecting with my dog in a way that’s very caring and special. My dogs loved to stay with her ,if you are looking for someone who will treat your pet like a family look no further than Maryam ,your pet will absolutely adore her.”

13. Jordie B.
“We've been lucky enough to have Jordie look after our beloved dogs several times. Whether it's just for a quick errand or for our family holidays, Jordie has been an absolute star in caring for our furry family members. Jordie's love for animals shines through in everything they do. It's not just about feeding and walking – Jordie makes sure each of our dogs feels special, loved, and at ease. It's like they have a second home with Jordie. With two hyper dogs, we feel confident leaving them with her knowiong they'll be looked after and cared for the same way we do. Chatting with Jordie is always a breeze. she keep us in the loop with cute updates and photos , which we absolutely love, especially when we're away for a while. It's so reassuring to know our pets are in such good hands. What we really appreciate about Jordie is her flexibility. Life can be unpredictable, but Jordie's always been there for us, even at short notice.”

14. Lauren W.

“Lauren did a fantastic job of looking after our two cats while we were away. She was conscientious, reliable and excellent at keeping us updated and responding to messages. The cats had the companionship they needed and Lauren made every effort to maintain their daily routine. Our cats were very comfortable with her and were more than happy to get their cuddles, brushes and strokes from her right from the start. We came home to happy, healthy cats, a clean and tidy house and were able to enjoy a worry free trip. Lauren comes highly recommended!”

15. Jennifer M.
“Jen has looked after my two fur babies when I’ve gone on vacation, and when I just needed a helping hand with their walking. She absolutely loves animals and it’s very apparent when you first meet her. More importantly the dogs adore her and are so exited to see her. I think a dog’s testimonial is the most important one.”

18. Kasia A.

“We came home to two very happy and relaxed cats after Kasia looked after them for three days. We opted for house sitting as opposed to pop in visits and what a difference it made to our furry babies! They had obviously been really glad to have their regular daily routine undisturbed as well as the company, strokes, cuddles and games they got from Kasia who followed our instructions really well and left our house in perfect condition. Our cats warmed to her really quickly which was a great sign as they are both quite sensitive and we got updates and photos on a daily basis making us feel relaxed and confident that they were in good hands. We would highly recommend Kasia as she was reliable and trustworthy with an obvious flare for bonding quickly with other peoples pets. Thank you Kasia 😻”
