About: 🐾 I had the great joy of sharing nine wonderful years with my Romanian rescue dog, Bernie Bones, who we sadly lost July 2025. We adopted him when he was one-ish and went through everything together - navigating the challenges of behavioural issues to his playful teenage years and finally to managing his complex health issues as he grew older and slowed right down. Caring for dogs comes naturally to me, and life feels a little empty without our buddy around. I grew up alongside dogs (+ cats) and have always looked after friends’ pups when they’ve been away - I genuinely enjoy their company! My partner Ross and I both work from home, and have the time to care for your dog alongside our day jobs, we also have experience with rescues and supporting anxious dogs. While we’re not quite ready to bring a new dog into our family, we’d love to welcome yours and give them the same love and dedication we gave our own. Morning + lunch walks are usually shorter and focused on getting out, stretching legs, and toilet breaks. End-of-day walks are longer and more relaxed, often up to an hour or more depending on your dog’s energy levels and preferences. Please check my calendar for up-to-date availability, and feel free to reach out to discuss any specific requests. I can sometimes be flexible and move things around where possible to make bookings work. Your dog will have a calm, homely space to relax. We’re a child-free couple with no other pets, so your pup gets all the attention 🐶 Before any first-time booking, I always arrange a meet-and-greet. It’s a great chance for you to visit our home if you would like to see where your dog will be staying. Or we can meet in a park for a walk - your preference! We offer: 🌳 Fully fenced and secure garden 🛋️ Dogs are welcome everywhere in our home 🐾 for boarding - only one dog at a time, or multiple from the same household. For walks up to two dogs, but I will discuss with you first to ensure your dog is happy with others, or can arrange solo walks. 🏠 Your dog will never be left alone, unless you’ve given us the go-ahead 🚶‍♀️ In the park, dogs stay on-lead until I’m confident in their recall I use gentle, reward-based training methods and focus on positive reinforcement, calm handling, and building trust. It’s really important to me that dogs feel safe and relaxed in my care. Because of this, I’m not the right fit for owners who use alternative methods, including the use of aversive tools such as choke chains and prong collars. About: Hi! 👋 I live in central Tunbridge Wells with my partner and our three cats. Growing up in a family that regularly adopted rescue pets, caring for animals has been a natural part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've looked after and owned pets with all sorts of personalities – from large, energetic dogs to independent cats, cuddly companions, and senior pets who enjoy taking things slower. These days, I'm often the first person family and friends call when they need someone reliable to care for their pets while they're away. I understand that every animal is unique, so I'm happy to tailor my visits to suit your pet's individual needs, whether that's walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or just being there to keep them company. About: I am an animal lover at heart and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and needs to care for. I can guarantee to give your furry friends the care and attention they deserve. I work full time as a therapist, but most of my work is online, and I have a real love and passion for working with and caring for animals. I have a soul dog myself called Bueno. Bueno is an English Bulldog with neurological difficulties so I understand first hand how important it is to cater to each pets needs. I also have a very sassy cat called Socks who keeps me in check! Any pet in my care will be treated as my own, and I’d be happy to provide regular pupdates throughout. I’m currently working full time as a therapist, but as I work with children, my workload is significantly lessened over the summer holidays. Most of my sessions are online so I can care for your pets without leaving them alone most of the time! I’m more than happy to care for your pets in your home. If your pet gets on with other animals, Bueno would love to meet them also!

Finding someone to care for your pet when you can't is always a worry, as a dog and cat owner myself I can thoroughly relate and I offer services tailored to you and your pets' routine. I have been caring for clients, friends and family's pets for over seven years now, this includes: dogs, cats, small furies and reptiles. Having historically worked in a animal rescue, I'm pretty certain I've seen it all, from caring and raising new-born pups to providing palliative care for special seniors, administering medications and dealing with reactivity. At the moment, I work part time for a charity and fill the rest of my time doing what I love, which includes a lot of dog related activities. I travel the UK to raise awareness of the vulnerable native dogs breeds in the UK and compete at Crufts annually both to show and take part in Discover Dogs, in addition to other kennel club schemes. I have often had dogs come to stay and they always thoroughly enjoy a trip to our family farm where they can run through acres of grass and woodland or take a paddle in the lake. I am completely flexible and happy to work around you and your pet's needs by adjusting my schedule to fit your pet's routine. My house is a calm environment, I like to tire dogs out on walks and with stimulation in the home to that they are happy and satisfied to minimise stress. I have fenced garden and offer supervised outdoor playtime or sunbathing (weather/heat permitting). We have set meal times and my dogs are fantastic at calming any nervous individuals with their happy-go-lucky attitudes and love having other dogs come to stay and walk with. In any emergency our vets is just down the road.
