About: My autistic son LOVES animals and so they have always played an important role in our home. Over the years we have owned and cared for 2 dogs, 7 cats, 2 guinea pigs a hamster, and a goldfish as well as the pets of family friends that we also care for. I have completed 'Dogs for Good' Family Service Dog workshops, have experience with senior care (our Japanese Akita lived til nearly 14 yrs old), have had our Cavapoo since puppy and have raised a litter of 5 kittens from birth. I home educate my son and as such we spend a lot of our time at home. We love nothing more than hanging out, snuggling with our cats and dog on the sofa during down time, playing with them in our garden and going for walks through the woods near our house. I have a large 20 sqm fenced garden which your fur babies would have full access to. I live on a quiet cul-de-sac with a recreation ground and woodland within a couple of minutes walk. I can accommodate a crate if your dog is crate trained.

I’ve had our family dog for the past 11 years, and we welcomed a new addition to the family just over 2 years ago. Sadly, I also know how difficult it is to lose a much-loved dog, having lost my previous doggie after 12 wonderful years together. I regularly look after family and friends’ fur babies when they need a little extra care, company or somewhere safe and loving to stay. I understand how important it is to know that your dog is happy, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. A change in my work status now leaves me with the opportunity to come away from the fast paced life and do something I truly love and take so much joy from. My two boys are very friendly and absolutely love having other dogs around. My youngest can be a little nervous around new people and larger, very boisterous dogs, so unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to accommodate dogs as he would find this challenging. He is, however, incredibly playful and loves spending time with dogs his own size or slightly bigger — so if your pup enjoys a good play, they’re guaranteed to be thoroughly worn out by the end of the day! 🐾 I aim to provide a home-from-home experience where your dog can feel relaxed, loved and part of the family, whether they’re joining us for a walk, a day of fun or a longer stay. ❤️🐶 I'm currently at home full time so am flexible to care for your babies most days and evenings and would be happy to drop them home locally if you were unable to pick them up at the end of their stay. I have a fenced garden with a lockable side gate and 2 friendly dogs who can keep your furbaby entertained in between walks. I can facilitate seperate areas at dinner time if there are any special dietry concerns and have plenty of beds or the sofa to choose from if they want to nap. I have several large open spaces within walking distance for long or short walks and can offer cuddles and kisses all day long at no extra cost. I have no rules unless specified by you. My home is their home and they will be treated like my family.

About: All my life I’ve grown up and handled dogs with all sorts of personalities. From reactive German Shepherds to mellow King Charles Spaniel’s, I am confident to say your fur-babies will be in the most respectable, capable hands around. I run my own Pet Services & Dog Walking business throughout the day, so I can always be around for those much needed loo breaks, a cuddle to break the day up or even a friendly face for their snack times. I am very flexible and accommodating, feel free to drop me a message & I’m sure we can work something together. About: I am confident with dogs, as I’ve grown up with small dogs and then Weimaraners and now I am often with my partner’s Working Cocker Spaniel with and without my children. I did used to help care for a Pointer a few years ago on Borrow My Doggy whilst the owner worked a couple of days a week. I would walk the dog and then the dog would come back with me for some company. Not sure how many years to put as ‘years of experience.’ With borrow my doggy I would say a year and longer with a family Dog and now my partner’s dog. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to work around my family commitments, meaning I can offer dog walking, day care and overnight stays during both weekdays and weekends. Caring for dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, so I make sure every pet receives plenty of exercise, enrichment, affection and one-to-one attention while they’re with me.
