About: I've grown up surrounded by animals of different kinds, and have had our own family dog for 11 years now, and a new edition to the family just over 2years ago now. Having lost my last doggie after 12 years. I regularly look after family and friends furbabies when needed. My boys are friendly and love other dogs company, however, my youngest is a little nervous around new people and big boisterous dogs so I wouldnt be able to accommodate this unfortunately. He is very playful with dogs of his own size or a little bigger and your baby is guaranteed to be exhausted by the end of the day with him around! I'm currently at home full time so am flexible to care for your babies most days and evenings and would be happy to drop them home locally if you were unable to pick them up at the end of their stay. I have a fenced garden with a lockable side gate and 2 friendly dogs who can keep your furbaby entertained in between walks. I can facilitate seperate areas at dinner time if there are any special dietry concerns and have plenty of beds or the sofa to choose from if they want to nap. I have several large open spaces within walking distance for long or short walks and can offer cuddles and kisses all day long at no extra cost. I have no rules unless specified by you. My home is their home and they will be treated like my family.

About: My autistic son LOVES animals and so they have always played an important role in our home. Over the years we have owned and cared for 2 dogs, 7 cats, 2 guinea pigs a hamster, and a goldfish as well as the pets of family friends that we also care for. I have completed 'Dogs for Good' Family Service Dog workshops, have experience with senior care (our Japanese Akita lived til nearly 14 yrs old), have had our Cavapoo since puppy and have raised a litter of 5 kittens from birth. I home educate my son and as such we spend a lot of our time at home. We love nothing more than hanging out, snuggling with our cats and dog on the sofa during down time, playing with them in our garden and going for walks through the woods near our house. I have a large 20 sqm fenced garden which your fur babies would have full access to. I live on a quiet cul-de-sac with a recreation ground and woodland within a couple of minutes walk. I can accommodate a crate if your dog is crate trained.

About: After losing my beloved Shih Tzu, Teddy, who was part of our family for 12 wonderful years, I realised just how much joy a dog brings to a home. Dog sitting has been a lovely way to share the love I had for Teddy with other dogs while giving them a safe, happy home away from home. I understand that every dog is different, so I take the time to learn their routine, personality and individual needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing, or is more of a couch potato (I’m happy with either! 😂), I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved and well cared for. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, so you can relax knowing they’re having a great time. I work part-time and mostly from home, which means I’m available to give your dog plenty of attention, walks, and playtime especially throughout the day. My home is friendly and lively, and I ensure every dog feels safe and cared for while their owners are away. I’m flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. Your dogs safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully walled garden and a dog flap, so dogs can safely enjoy outdoor play whenever they like. I work mostly from home, so your dog will have plenty of companionship throughout the day. There is almost always someone at home, ensuring your pet is never left alone for long. My home is friendly, calm and designed to make dogs feel secure and happy.

About: I am confident with dogs, as I’ve grown up with small dogs and then Weimaraners and now I am often with my partner’s Working Cocker Spaniel with and without my children. I did used to help care for a Pointer a few years ago on Borrow My Doggy whilst the owner worked a couple of days a week. I would walk the dog and then the dog would come back with me for some company. Not sure how many years to put as ‘years of experience.’ With borrow my doggy I would say a year and longer with a family Dog and now my partner’s dog. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to work around my family commitments, meaning I can offer dog walking, day care and overnight stays during both weekdays and weekends. Caring for dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, so I make sure every pet receives plenty of exercise, enrichment, affection and one-to-one attention while they’re with me. I am based between Wotton, Surrey and Sevenoaks. In Wotton there is a large fenced grass garden and our friendly female Working Cocker Spaniel lives here. In Sevenoaks - there is a small paved garden that is fenced.

Cristina was great with Yuki. She kept me updated all day with videos and messages and I loved seeing Yuki interacting and playing with Tommy. She took her for a walk and logged everything on the app, including the park right in front of her house, the route they did, and even the poo stops. She handled Yuki’s snack exactly as requested and everything went smoothly. Communication was easy and relaxed the whole time, and overall a really positive experience. I’ll definitely be booking Cristina again in the future :)

About: All my life I’ve grown up and handled dogs with all sorts of personalities. From reactive German Shepherds to mellow King Charles Spaniel’s, I am confident to say your fur-babies will be in the most respectable, capable hands around. I run my own Pet Services & Dog Walking business throughout the day, so I can always be around for those much needed loo breaks, a cuddle to break the day up or even a friendly face for their snack times. I am very flexible and accommodating, feel free to drop me a message & I’m sure we can work something together. In my home, I have an enclosed garden which has a very sturdy fence all around along with hedges for that extra protection. If its preferred, I am more than happy to come along to your home.

About: A lifelong animal lover, I grew up surrounded by dogs and have cared for my own pets for over 20 years. With flexible hours, I’m available all day to provide your dog attentive care, companionship, and a safe, happy home while you’re away. Thanks to my flexible working hours, I’m available every day throughout the week and free every weekend to care for your pup. About: I'm an experienced dog and pet owner – I've had my own dog, Buddy, an energetic Sproodle, for 7 years, had dogs growing up, and have owned pets (rabbits, hamsters, a cat) for the last 12 years. So I understand the time, care and attention our furry friends need to be happy, healthy and content. I hold a DBS check for extra peace of mind. I work from home and have a large, secure garden, so visiting dogs will have company from both me and Buddy, plenty of space to play, and rarely be left alone or bored. Every day Buddy and I walk for 1-2 hours in the countryside, off lead where it's safe and appropriate and with the owner's agreement – it's such a pleasure to see dogs enjoying themselves and exploring in a safe environment. I offer daytime visits, walks, overnights and boarding – and plenty of cuddles and love along the way. I welcome calm, well-socialised dogs who'll enjoy walks, garden time and lots of cuddles. I work from home, so days start with a dog walk of around an hour once the house has emptied. We're then back for breakfast and some time to relax with Buddy, including bathroom breaks and free access to the garden (weather permitting), plus cuddles while I work. In the afternoon or early evening, there's a second walk. Throughout the day there are cuddles from me and the rest of the family. In my home: My garden is large and securely enclosed, so dogs have safe space to play and go to the toilet without needing to be watched every minute — though I do check in regularly. Normally I introduce other dogs to Buddy on a walk so they come home together and settle in quickly. I hold a DBS check, so owners can trust who's caring for their dog, and I keep a regular routine of walks and meals so dogs can settle quickly, but am happy to follow your routine if necessary. In an owner's home: I treat your home with the same care and respect I'd want for my own – following your instructions on feeding, medication and routine exactly, keeping doors and gates secure, and leaving everything as I found it. Wherever I'm walking or caring for your dog, I'm happy to send photo or text updates during visits so you know your pet is safe and settled.

About: I am new to Rover however, as a Dachshund owner myself and having had and looked after dogs my whole life, I will provide your pet a safe, warm and loving home whilst you are away. I only accept one Dachshund at a time. I will only have one Dachshund at a time so your pet will have my full care and attention alongside my own pet. I provide day boarding or cover for holidays. I have one miniature Dachshund called Rosie so your pet will always have a gentle play mate to have fun with. I will always try to match your home routine eg breakfast time, length of walks, favourite treats etc so that your sausage will settle and feel at home. I am within a mile of a reputable vet if any medication is needed. A meet and greet is welcomed before you decide to commit to a booking with me. I have a secure fenced large garden and plenty of beautiful countryside on hand if your pet would like additional walks. My house is single storey and there are no areas that your pet is not welcome…even on the couch! I have plenty of toys and bedding but I’m happy for you to bring along whatever you need for your pet to make them feel at home. If required I send pictures and updates whilst you are away so you can relax and enjoy yourself knowing that your pet is having a wonderful time too!!

Ana was brilliant. She started with a house sit so Cosmo could settle in comfortably before transitioning him to her place just down the road. She sent a care form in advance covering feeding, walking, commands and tricks, which gave me real confidence ahead of the stay. Throughout, her communication was prompt and reassuring, with regular updates and photos. Cosmo got plenty of fuss and was clearly well looked after. Trustworthy and professional. I’ll absolutely be booking again.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Sevenoaks on Rover is £28.75 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 15,597 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Sevenoaks. About 87% of Sevenoaks sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Sevenoaks commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
