After losing my beloved Shih Tzu, Teddy, who was part of our family for 12 wonderful years, I realised just how much joy a dog brings to a home. Dog sitting has been a lovely way to share the love I had for Teddy with other dogs while giving them a safe, happy home away from home. I understand that every dog is different, so I take the time to learn their routine, personality and individual needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing, or is more of a couch potato (I’m happy with either! 😂), I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved and well cared for. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, so you can relax knowing they’re having a great time.

Schedule
I work part-time and mostly from home, which means I’m available to give your dog plenty of attention, walks, and playtime especially throughout the day. My home is friendly and lively, and I ensure every dog feels safe and cared for while their owners are away. I’m flexible with drop-off and pick-up times.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dogs safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully walled garden and a dog flap, so dogs can safely enjoy outdoor play whenever they like. I work mostly from home, so your dog will have plenty of companionship throughout the day. There is almost always someone at home, ensuring your pet is never left alone for long. My home is friendly, calm and designed to make dogs feel secure and happy.
A typical day
Every dog is different, so I tailor activities to suit their personality and energy levels. We’ll enjoy walks (weather permitting) to the local park, plenty of playtime, and time to explore our secure garden. I also love keeping dogs mentally stimulated with enrichment activities such as snuffle games, treat hunts, puzzle toys, and towel games. For dogs who prefer a quieter day, I’m equally happy to spend time giving them lots of fuss, cuddles and companionship. I keep routines consistent, including feeding times and walks, and I’m always attentive to each dog’s individual needs. I’ll also send regular photo updates throughout their stay, so you can relax knowing they’re happy and well cared for.
