Michelle kept us updated with pictures and daily messages about our boy. I didnt felt that we left Fidel with a stranger. Michelle and her family and Wilf and Ralf embraced and welcomed Fidel. He felt at home straight away. I will definitely bring Fidel back to Michelle and highly recommend the complete package that she offers.”

They took time to understand and accommodate Dottie’s needs and sent regular updates and photos. About: I am confident with dogs, as I’ve grown up with small dogs and then Weimaraners and now I am often with my partner’s Working Cocker Spaniel with and without my children. I did used to help care for a Pointer a few years ago on Borrow My Doggy whilst the owner worked a couple of days a week. I would walk the dog and then the dog would come back with me for some company. Not sure how many years to put as ‘years of experience.’ With borrow my doggy I would say a year and longer with a family Dog and now my partner’s dog. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to work around my family commitments, meaning I can offer dog walking, day care and overnight stays during both weekdays and weekends. Caring for dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, so I make sure every pet receives plenty of exercise, enrichment, affection and one-to-one attention while they’re with me. I am based between Wotton, Surrey and Sevenoaks. In Wotton there is a large fenced grass garden and our friendly female Working Cocker Spaniel lives here. In Sevenoaks - there is a small paved garden that is fenced.

About: I have had pets all my life from horses, dogs, cats and smaller animals. I love walking and enjoy the company of animals and joy they bring. I have plenty of time to walk dogs. I have a lovely garden and a peaceful environment for them to enjoy. They would be happy and comfortable with me and my 26yr old dog crazy son. I have a fenced garden and am surrounded by numerous walks for your pet to enjoy. I have had dogs all of my life and would enjoy the company of your pet as unfortunately we lost our beautiful lab 2 yrs ago as miss having a dog.
“Nadene is the dog sitter I've been dreaming of! Everything was planned and taken care of, there were no last minute problems. Alf was so comfortable with Nadene, her family and friendly spaniels that I felt bad for taking him home! I feel totally safe leaving Alf with Nadene and desperately hope you're available for next time!”

“Our dog had an excellent time staying with Alexander. We got daily updates and it looked like he had such a great time (especially judging by how knackered he was when we picked him up)!”

“Jessie was fantastic, sending updates throughout Tillys stay. Tilly had the best time playing with Dora and was so happy and content when we picked her up. 100% recommend and will absolutely use Jessie again 😊 thank you!”

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience caring for pets with different needs every day. I share my home with a dachshund and a cat, so I understand the importance of providing loving, attentive care tailored to each animal’s personality. I also help care for my son’s service dog, including daily walks and maintaining the routine and discipline that are essential for a working dog. This has given me valuable experience in consistency, positive reinforcement, and understanding how important structure is for a dog’s wellbeing. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, prefers a quieter environment, or needs extra patience and attention, I will care for them as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, loved, and happy while you’re away. I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide pet care during the week and on weekends. I am available for daytime visits, walks, and drop-in care, and can often accommodate different schedules. I understand the importance of maintaining your pet’s routine and will provide reliable, consistent care to help them feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. Please note that I do not offer overnight sitting. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel secure and relaxed in a familiar environment. For cats, I make sure their environment is calm, safe, and stress-free. I pay close attention to details such as secure doors and windows, litter tray cleanliness, fresh water, and feeding routines. I also take time to read their behaviour and body language so I can interact with them in a way that builds trust and helps them feel comfortable during my visits. For walks, I ensure dogs are always safely leashed and walked in appropriate areas, paying close attention to their behaviour, surroundings, and individual needs. I have experience with maintaining routine and consistency through caring for a service dog, so I understand the importance of structure, patience, and positive reinforcement. I will treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect, providing regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I’ve had cats for most of my life, so I’m very familiar with their personalities, routines, and individual needs. I currently have a Ragdoll, which has given me hands-on experience with caring for an indoor cat day to day, including feeding routines, enrichment, and comfort. I’ve also regularly looked after cats for friends while they’ve been away, making sure they are cared for in their own home and stick to their normal routine. This includes feeding, litter tray cleaning, and spending time with them so they feel comfortable and not stressed while their owners are away. I’m calm, reliable, and attentive, and I take time to build trust with each cat so they feel safe and settled. I always follow instructions carefully and treat every cat as if they were my own.

“Jo is fabulous! We can’t recommend her highly enough. She kept us up to date with lots of photos of our happy boys, who always love her visits! Jo always goes the extra mile, playing with laser pens, catnip toys and listening to music with our boys as well as keeping them fed and watered. We came home to two very happy cats!”

“Rebecca has been so patient with my anxious Shibas and has enabled me to get my freedom back! She was willing to meet with us several times to get acquainted, and follows my instructions really carefully. I highly recommmed her services. Thank you Rebecca.”

About: Me and my Dad have always owned and loved cats. We currently we have two cats Pip & Jessie! 🐈⬛🐈 I love spending time with cats and would love to care for yours! I’ve just finished my A-Levels and so have way too much freetime, which I would love nothing better than to meet even more lovely animals in their home 🏡 or to take them on walks. I have my own car too making this easier! Alongside this, I have 3 years of solid experience by helping my family, caring for other peoples pets through Rover, mostly dogs, from tiny sausage dogs to huge floppy labradors. I have two dogs of my own, Jaws and Fritz who are 6 and 4. I am available for house drop ins to care for your pet and also offer pet walking. I have already been walking other dogs a lot, including walking two if need be. I’ve also walked dogs off lead with good recalls.

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes and temperaments. Having previously owned a reactive dog, I’m confident handling nervous, energetic and strong-willed pets with patience, consistency and understanding. I tailor my approach to each pet’s individual needs, whether that’s long walks, playtime, enrichment, or simply providing companionship while you’re away. I pride myself on being reliable, attentive and trustworthy, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your pet is happy, safe and well cared for. Every animal in my care is treated as if they were my own. I currently work within education so the majority of my walks/visits will be during both evenings and weekends, with my availability increasing over the school holiday periods. I currently reside with my (hardly) working cocker spaniel whose main interests involve stealing both people’s socks and their hearts. It’s because of him that I take such an interest in helping others in the care for their pets.

“Couldn’t recommend Dannielle enough. We were gone 2 weeks and I was able to switch off completely knowing she was taking such great care of our 2 cats. She was sending daily updates and gorgeous photos and when we arrived home our cats were both in such happy spirits and I know that’s because of the love and attention Dannielle gave them when we were away. We are so grateful for her!!”

About: I’m a dependable and compassionate pet sitter with a genuine love for all animals. I always provide a high level of care and attention and treat each pet as if they were my own. I have had lots of experience pet sitting for not only my friends and family, but various others in my hometown. This means I am able to maintain a calm energy around anxious pets who aren’t familiar with me yet and quickly adapt to each individual animal’s personal needs. I’m looking forward to making lots of new furry friends! I’m a student at Newcastle University, but I am on summer holiday at the moment so I am extremely flexible and able to adapt to your needs! When I care for pets in their own home, I stick to their routine, giving them plenty of love, play, and attention. I respect your space, keep things clean, and stay on top of any special needs or meds. My priority is keeping your pet comfortable, happy, and safe.

About: As a cat dad to 3 indoor cats of my own (each adopted from abandoned with cat flu, and 2 with 1 eye each, 1 with IBS) who travels for holidays twice a year, I understand just how important it is to find a sitter who you can place your confidence in. I work from home fulltime, running my own cybersecurity firm so spend ample time with my own triad who I have had now since 2018. Prior to owning my own cats I grew up in a household with 5 cats minimum at a time and would always volunteer to feed them, fuss them and ensure they were well taken care of. Unabashedly and unashamedly a big proud cat person! I want to offer my services to those in need having had to request cat sitters during periods I travel for work or pleasure and always wanting the peace of mind that each and every one was happy, loved, well fed and cared for.

“Milo had an amazing time with Reya and they formed a lovely bond. Reya was kind and caring and kept Milo active whilst we were away, visiting twice a day. Reya provided photos every day and kept me up to date with how he was and what they had played with. I am more than happy with the care provided by Reya and would not hesitate to use her again when I need too. Thank you Reya ?”

About: After losing my beloved Shih Tzu, Teddy, who was part of our family for 12 wonderful years, I realised just how much joy a dog brings to a home. Dog sitting has been a lovely way to share the love I had for Teddy with other dogs while giving them a safe, happy home away from home. I understand that every dog is different, so I take the time to learn their routine, personality and individual needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing, or is more of a couch potato (I’m happy with either! 😂), I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved and well cared for. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, so you can relax knowing they’re having a great time. I work part-time and mostly from home, which means I’m available to give your dog plenty of attention, walks, and playtime especially throughout the day. My home is friendly and lively, and I ensure every dog feels safe and cared for while their owners are away. I’m flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. Your dogs safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully walled garden and a dog flap, so dogs can safely enjoy outdoor play whenever they like. I work mostly from home, so your dog will have plenty of companionship throughout the day. There is almost always someone at home, ensuring your pet is never left alone for long. My home is friendly, calm and designed to make dogs feel secure and happy.
“Chrissie took my dog in for an overnight stay at extremely short notice after I had a cancellation - she came back very tired and sounds like they had a great time together!”

“Patricia and George were fantastic with Nova who didn’t want to leave! It was a one-off as we are visiting the area. Communication brilliant and they were very tolerant of a changing time as Nova had and unexpected trip to the vets just before. They looked after a young dog with a swollen throat with much care and love.”

“I left my 6 month old French bulldog puppy, Bonnie, for the first ever time with anyone with Nadene for the day and she was so patient and understanding of my worries of leaving her for the first time. Nadene's dogs are clearly very well behaved and cared for and were great with Bonnie (who can be VERY playful), she was shattered by the time I collected her! Nadene sent me pics and videos throughout the day that made me feel at ease; Bonnie is going back for several days this month and I'm so pleased to have found someone like Nadene I can trust my pup with!”

Thank you Christina and family”

About: I've been in the care industry for 7 years. Looking after family and friends dogs since I was 12. I absolutely love all dogs, any size, shape, personality, every one is unique. After completing a professional dog sitting job in the summer for 2 weeks with 2 beautiful dachshunds I realized how much I wanted to work with dogs full time. I have good patience for looking after puppies and senior care and I've never met a dog that didn't love me and I didn't love😂 At the moment I am only working part time as a nursery teacher so I am available almost every day any time. Just give me a message and ask and I will be free. When in the pet owners home I will follow all instructions to the tee and ensure the dog is always safe. When in my own home I will again follow any instructions you require. My garden is fully fenced in and you cannot get to the road or other gardens, when going walking they will not be taken off the lead unless specifically requested and confirmed

About: My parents are farmers so I grew up with horses, livestock and dogs. This has made me very knowledgeable and confident with pet care. I am practical, have common sense and above all, I love animals in particular dogs. I also love walking so happy to offer dog walks or provide company/boarding in my safe, dog proof home in Weald, Sevenoaks. My sister is a vet so I also have someone at the end of the phone should I ever need it. I work full time from home however my hours are flexible, and I walk my dogs for 4-5k during my lunch break. I can offer morning walks (before 9am) or lunch time walks (I would need some flexibility as I may occasionally have lunch time meetings so would need to jig walk times around very occasionally). I also provide a home for dog boarding, either day boarding or over night. I have two wonderful dachshunds who are very friendly with new dogs and will be very happy to welcome friends in. My garden is completely dog proof so they will be safe. I can also provide dog sitting where my dogs are kept separate on request. My home in Weald, Sevenoaks is dog proof and I have the ability to crate dogs if required. They can also live happily alongside my two dogs. My garden is dog proofed so safe. You can drop your dog off on your way to work or depending on location, I can pick them up. Depending on locality, I can also come and take your dogs for a walk before work or on my lunch break.
About: I am accustom to looking after dogs of all shapes and sizes, breeds, and ages meaning that I can provide custom treatment and care for your dog. I have experience medicating and caring for elderly dogs as well as the skill set that training two litters has given me as well. I am a university student who works part time over the summer! My schedule is very flexible especially when dates are booked a week or two in advance. I cannot cater to having dogs in my home due to my own pets, however, I am used to caring for dogs in their homes and adjusting to their normal routine so minimise the change for the pet, such as sticking to their normal timed routine.

About: I’ll provide your pup with the 5⭐️ holiday they deserve 🥰🐶 I have grown up always with animals and worked at a kennels for a few years during my studies, I then spent 6 months in Australia where I did the Australian version of Rover and thoroughly enjoyed getting to care for each pup (for which my reviews are in my photo section). I just finished my Zoology BSc at the university of Plymouth where I studied topics such as animal nutrition, welfare and advanced animal behaviour which support my passion for providing good, safe animal care. I am confident and experienced with all sized dogs, having worked with most breeds during my time in dog care. A typical stay with be would include 2 walks a day (longer or shorter depending on your pup), with lots of cuddles and play time back at the house. I will be with your pup all day and do any work/admin stuff at home 🏠 I am confident handling dogs on walks and will keep dogs on leads in public for their safety (unless confident with recall in a safe environment). I’d give your pet constant attention and reassurance, I always send regular photo updates throughout their stay :)
About: I’m a dependable and compassionate pet sitter with a genuine love for all animals. I always provide a high level of care and attention and treat each pet as if they were my own. I take the time to understand their personalities, routines, and needs, so they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away.
About: I absolutely love dogs and have had experience looking after various kinds of dogs over the years. I have also recently got experience looking after new dogs and providing them with company and exercise during the day, through the borrow my dog app. I’m currently on summer break from uni, so am available whenever help is needed! I have a very flexible schedule and have lots of time to provide a service. I have a large, spacious garden that is fenced off and protected from the road. I am easily able to adapt to whatever your pet may need and am able to accommodate well.
About: As a family we have had cats and dogs all our lives. Since our bundle of joy Saskia came along we have found new levels of dog walking fun in all weathers in our local parks where we meet so many amazing pups and their owners. Our Shih Tzu Saskia is super friendly with dogs and cats and will adapt to your pets needs whether they want to play all day or simply chill. I also have friends and family who are experienced dog carers too. We just love being with these amazing fluffy friends. 😀 I am available flexible hours as I am a self employed. I like to be outdoors on walks a fair amount especially when the weather permits, however we are out in all weather's as long as it suits the pets needs. I walk our pup in the beautiful countryside by our home and other local parks daily. We also have a secure garden and a car to drive to other locations. Our pup and feline are used to being around other cats and dogs. I can be with the your pets at all times where required.

“Ruby & Steve looked after my massive mastiff for a long weekend. He tells me that he had a great time, and can’t wait to go back! I also had a great time, as there were plenty of comms and pics to stop me from worrying.”

“Our dog boarded with Karolina and clearly adores her. Made a new furry friend Nutmeg too. Seemed very happy and well looked after. We were sent regular updates and photos. Will be using Karolina again”

“We wouldn’t hesitate to ask Vivien to look after Ender again. We got regular detailed updates on his day and he was made to feel part of their home. Vivien also made sure to understand Ender’s routine which helped him to settle quickly. He came home happy and healthy.”

“Balloo very happy when he goes to stay at Rosanna. He has 2 little friends that he gets on with very well there have a lovely time snuggled together after a long walk. Rosanna keeps me informed on how he is , she’s relaxed and helpful. I’d recommend Rosanna highly.”

“Absolutely phenomenal service, throughly impressed by the level of professionalism, care and service provided. Undoubtedly we would rebook in the future and cannot thank Hanna enough for looking after our fur babies! Excellent service start to finish.”

About: My husband and I have two Labradors who we have trained, walked and taken care of for five years. They’re so friendly and love company so I know that day care and boarding with friends will be great for them! We have two children aged 10 and 12 who are both sensible and love dogs too! We have a large garden with plenty of space for playing. My husband is about to retire and I work part time. Between us both we are around all of the time. Our dogs are both incredibly tolerant, easy going and love to play but also can be very placid and they do like a snooze throughout the day! Our dogs are a big part of our family and any other dog would be treated the same. They’re allowed on furniture, and play with the kids! Our dogs sleep downstairs as we have cats that sleep upstairs but the cats come and go through the cat flap so are rarely around in the day time. They’ll always have care and company.

I understand the importance of clear communication and regular updates to owners (and replying to messages 5 minutes after you dropped off your doggo to check if he's ok) My name is Lenette Howard and I run a home-based pet care service offering dog boarding, daycare, dog walking and cat visits. It is important for us to get to know your dog, including their - routine - health needs - personality - separation anxiety if any - other behaviour - resource guarding behaviour - fears of fireworks, thunder, water, loud cars, motorbikes, people with beards, people wearing hats, people on bicycles, people just jogging minding their own business Because here with us, caring for your dog is not just about basic supervision. Our love and care and attention will feel familiar and it will feel safe. So do I talk to my dogs while they're here? I absolutely do! Some of them even learned how to spell whilst in my care just in case I try to avoid using the words W-A-L-K and T-R-E-A-T ! Day to day, my job is to keep the environment calm (they become experts in all things classical music) clean and not overcrowded. We have supervised play. We have rest time and we have regular toilet breaks. And sometimes irregular toilet breaks. Dogs wear a GPS tracker during walks and outdoor time. It just makes sense to do so and it adds peace of mind. For me my focus is simple: safe dogs, happy dogs, settled dogs and owners who feel confident leaving them with me. Pet care is my daily routine. Dogs are not left to just “get on with it.” Dogs in my care have regular toilet breaks, supervised garden time, walks, rest, play and individual attention throughout the day. I follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, medication, sleep habits and owner instructions, so they feel safe, settled and properly cared for. Owners feel confident their dog is being properly looked after, not just watched. Safety and trust come first. Dogs in my home have supervised care, regular toilet breaks, a secure fenced garden, calm play and proper rest. Dogs wear a GPS tracker during walks and outdoor time for added peace of mind. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, walks, medication, behaviour notes and comfort needs. I keep the environment calm, clean, and not overcrowded. We have a constant security camera presence throughout the day and night. Dogs are supervised, introductions are handled carefully, and every pet gets proper attention. For visits in an owner’s home, I respect their home, their space, follow the pet’s normal routine, follow the owner’s instructions exactly, and make sure their pets feel safe, settled, comfortable and cared for while their owner is away.
“Everything was brilliant with Dina and Barry! As it was our boys first time away, Dina helped organise a home visit so he could learn the smells of the home he would be staying in. The trip went great with plenty of adventures for Harry, and plenty of pictures and updates for us! Brilliant experience, thanks so much again :)”

“Beverly and her family were wonderful my dog Sam who came home exhausted showing he’s had a great time! Would recommend to anyone who wants their dog looking after and will definitely be using them again next time I go away!”

“Elisha looked after my dog for 11 nights and she was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. She gave her regular walks, lots of cuddles and a truly home loving environment - I honestly couldn’t have asked for better care. It was reassuring knowing how happy my dog was while I was away. Elisha didn’t feel like someone running a business, she felt like a friend doing me a favour, which made the whole experience even more special. Elisha has a lovey home and family, and my dog quickly made herself at home and was very happy and settled there. Elisha is honestly priceless and I wouldn’t want my dog staying with anyone else. I can’t recommend her highly enough! 🐾💛”

“Danni and Jordan were lovely and attentive with our dogs. They kept us up to date with how our dogs were doing and I think Merlin and Foley had a good time with them. Considering they were nonchalant when we came to collect them haha, we think that means they could have happily stayed with Danni for longer and they had felt comfortable and at home. Our dog Foley often decides he doesn’t want to go for walks, but Danni and Jordan patiently tried to walk him again and again, which was lovely. I would confidently recommend Danni and Jordan to any dog owner considering asking them to dog sit and I believe Merlin and Foley would love the opportunity to spend time with them again in the future ❤️”

“Sarah was so lovely and so kind. First meeting her, she was so warm and caring towards Maisie. She really wanted to get to know Maisie and understand her as a puppy and make her feel as comfortable as she could for the duration of her stay. We thank Sarah so much for making her time as calm and comfortable as she could - this definitely made us feel happy to leave Maisie in such good company!!”

About: I have been described as being kind, gentle, quiet, and caring character, and when needed can be strict and assertive too. Who as most people on here would say loves animals and would do anything for them. I have had a variety of small pets, 3 hamsters, 1 rabbit, and 2 cats in her lifetime. These pets are and have been caring members of my family, and with me suffering from depression as a child, I have known that valid companionship with pets can be rewarding. Unfortunately, my last black cat is called Mimi who we rescued from Battersea, and Mimi is a very cheeky and energetic cat, who lives with my parents as I am unable to have any pets in my flat. I am an organised and caring person who has looked after many neighbors and family pets in the past, including tortoises, lizards, fish, hamsters, and cats. Also helped out with dog walking with her neighbor who runs a dog-sitting company. I am willing to go above and beyond in anything she puts her mind to, she always tries 100%. The reason for doing pet sitting is that I want to care for as many pets as possible but unfortunately unable due to the flat doesn't allow pets. I am currently available most weekdays except Thursdays-for home visits and house sittings which can include looking after plants and bringing mail into. Thursday I have a day job but can pop in the evening if needed. Dog walking is another service I can do, can go as long as the dog needs. Some weekends I am also available for these services. I work part time as Day Center Assistant for Age Uk South Glos. I work from home other the days, so can be flexible with location and hours. I can provide a service and adapt to the house rules that is needed per household. I have worked with owners with dogs including crates.
