“This was Roo’s first time being left alone for a long length of time, so we were understandably quite nervous — especially as it was also our first time using a dog walker. However, we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Lola took Roo on a lovely long walk, kept us updated throughout, and sent lots of photos, which gave us great peace of mind. Her communication was excellent, and Roo came home happy and settled. Fantastic value for money, and we would definitely use her again.”

“Katie was very professional and friendly, she came to meet us the day before to make sure everything was ok and Huxley was immediately very comfortable and relaxed with her.”

About: All my life I’ve grown up and handled dogs with all sorts of personalities. From reactive German Shepherds to mellow King Charles Spaniel’s, I am confident to say your fur-babies will be in the most respectable, capable hands around. I run my own Pet Services & Dog Walking business throughout the day, so I can always be around for those much needed loo breaks, a cuddle to break the day up or even a friendly face for their snack times. I am very flexible and accommodating, feel free to drop me a message & I’m sure we can work something together. In my home, I have an enclosed garden which has a very sturdy fence all around along with hedges for that extra protection. If its preferred, I am more than happy to come along to your home.
About: I have always been around dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. From a young age, I have cared for friends’ and family members’ dogs and gained a strong understanding of their different personalities and individual needs. I have competed in dog training to a high standard, giving me valuable experience with obedience, handling and understanding dog behaviour. I know that every breed is different and requires the right amount of exercise, mental stimulation, routine and attention. When your dog is in my care, I will treat them as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable and well looked after while giving them the care and attention they deserve. I am fully committed to providing the best possible care for every dog I look after. I am working towards making dog care my full-time career, so I am able to dedicate my time, attention and energy to giving each dog the care they deserve. My schedule is flexible and centred around the needs of the dogs in my care, including walks, playtime, training, companionship and maintaining their normal routines. I understand how important it is for dogs to feel comfortable and settled when away from their owners, and I will always make their wellbeing my priority. I am reliable, passionate and committed to building trust with both dogs and their owners. Pets in my home will be treated as part of the family. I will make sure they have a safe, comfortable and calm environment where they can settle in and feel relaxed. I will follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding routines, exercise needs, medication (if required) and any specific behaviours or preferences their pet has. I believe every dog is different, so I adapt my care to suit their breed, age, energy levels and personality. I will provide plenty of attention, play, walks and mental stimulation while making sure they have time to rest and feel at home. My priority is always keeping pets happy, safe and well cared for while their owners are away.

About: I have extensive experience caring for animals through my work in veterinary clinics and my current part-time role at a boarding kennel. I also grew up on a dairy farm, so I've been surrounded by animals from a young age and have developed a genuine love and appreciation for animals of all kinds. I've worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, and caring for them has only strengthened my passion for animal welfare. While dogs are my area of expertise, I'm confident and comfortable looking after a wide variety of pets. I'm currently studying Occupational Therapy, which has further developed my compassion, patience, and understanding of individual needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. My goal is to give both you and your pet complete peace of mind. As a student with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time after classes for pet care, walks, and playtime. I'm also available during most holidays, so your furry friends will get the attention and love they deserve:) I also have a dog of my own who means the world to me! Most mornings start with a walk through the forest and a game of fetch, so I know just how important exercise, enrichment, and quality time are for keeping dogs happy and healthy! ;)

About: I've been in the care industry for 10 years. Looking after family and friends dogs since I was 12. I absolutely love all dogs, any size, shape, personality, every one is unique. After completing a professional dog sitting job in the summer 2023 for 2 weeks with 2 beautiful dachshunds I realized how much I wanted to work with dogs full time. I have good patience for looking after puppies and senior care and I've never met a dog that didn't love me and I didn't love😂 At the moment I am working part time as a receptionist in a garage so I am available almost every day any time. And capable to taking sociable and content dogs with me to work Just give me a message and ask and I will try my hardest to be free. When in the pet owners home I will follow all instructions to the tee and ensure the dog is always safe. When in my own home I will again follow any instructions you require. My garden is fully fenced in and you cannot get to the road or other gardens, when going walking they will not be taken off the lead unless specifically requested and confirmed
About: Hi there! My name is Ariadne, I’m a PhD student working from home, and I’m super excited to have the opportunity to take care of your best friend! I definitely understand that life doesn’t always run to schedule - maybe you’re stuck at work late for a meeting, or you’re planning a holiday and want to make sure your pets stay comfortable in their own environment; that’s exactly why John and I are here. We offer personalized, knowledgeable, and friendly care, giving you complete peace of mind that both your pets and your home are safe, secure, and well looked after while you’re away. We provide house sitting (overnight stays), as well as daycare, walks, and drop-in visits, either at your place or ours (within a reasonable distance). We live in a flat with easy access to a charming woodland with year-round walking paths. Whether you need weekly daytime support or someone dependable to stay with your pets while you travel, we tailor our care to their routines, personalities, and needs. We have over 3 years of combined experience through Rover (daycare and boarding) and TrustedHouseSitters (house and pet sitting), with entirely positive ratings across both platforms. We’re comfortable with a wide range of animals, temperaments, and care requirements, and we pride ourselves on communication, reliability, and treating every pet as if they were our own. I (Ariadne) have personally grown up around rescue dogs my entire life, and have been taking care of dogs generally for about 12 years. I have used Rover in both the UK and the US and maintained a 5-star review with several repeat clients in both. I am very capable of handling all sorts of furry companions from miniscule to giant, young to old, and sociable to territorial/reactive. Dog, cat, bird, and reptile friendly! Hey, I’m John! I am an environmental economist with hybrid hours. I have several years of experience with dogs, rabbits, and lizards and am keen to help out in any way I can. Especially when there are multiple pets to care for, in our experience having two people allows us to give your pets the individual attention they deserve. With that said, we are aware that some dogs have specific handling needs or gender preferences, so we’re happy for just one of us to take care of them. We also have a small car that we are happy to use for short excursions - dog seatbelts included of course! I (Ariadne) am a PhD student and as such my work days are extremely flexible and I have the freedom to work from anywhere. I (John) have a flexible hybrid job and can also work from anywhere. We’re happy to follow the instructions and preferences set by the owner. The main focus is to make your pet feel safe and that they can trust us. We are always careful to not force ourselves onto your animal, we prefer to let them come to us and check us out on their own time.
About: My partner Katie and I have owned dogs all our lives and have experience in puppy training and senior dog care. Exclusive access to a secure 5 acre field and plenty of countryside walks. There’s nothing we love more than being outside and active with our pets, and we’d be honoured to take care of yours! As a couple we split our time between working at home and London so at least one person is always at home. When looking after dogs, we plan our days around their well-being, catering to their needs and enjoyment. We have a secure garden in a small bungalow, no stairs to protect old or very young legs! Opposite is a securely fenced 5 acre field with private access for dogs to run off lead whenever they wish. No other animals or children live with us in the property.
About: I am confident with dogs, as I’ve grown up with small dogs and then Weimaraners and now I am often with my partner’s Working Cocker Spaniel with and without my children. I did used to help care for a Pointer a few years ago on Borrow My Doggy whilst the owner worked a couple of days a week. I would walk the dog and then the dog would come back with me for some company. Not sure how many years to put as ‘years of experience.’ With borrow my doggy I would say a year and longer with a family Dog and now my partner’s dog. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to work around my family commitments, meaning I can offer dog walking, day care and overnight stays during both weekdays and weekends. Caring for dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, so I make sure every pet receives plenty of exercise, enrichment, affection and one-to-one attention while they’re with me. I am based between Wotton, Surrey and Sevenoaks. In Wotton there is a large fenced grass garden and our friendly female Working Cocker Spaniel lives here. In Sevenoaks - there is a small paved garden that is fenced.
About: As a family we have had cats and dogs all our lives. Since our bundle of joy Saskia came along we have found new levels of dog walking fun in all weathers in our local parks where we meet so many amazing pups and their owners. Our Shih Tzu Saskia is super friendly with dogs and cats and will adapt to your pets needs whether they want to play all day or simply chill. I also have friends and family who are experienced dog carers too. We just love being with these amazing fluffy friends. 😀 I am available flexible hours as I am a self employed. I like to be outdoors on walks a fair amount especially when the weather permits, however we are out in all weather's as long as it suits the pets needs. I walk our pup in the beautiful countryside by our home and other local parks daily. We also have a secure garden and a car to drive to other locations. Our pup and feline are used to being around other cats and dogs. I can be with the your pets at all times where required.
“Juliana was so delightful. She has taken our dog Bobby out for a couple of woodland walks. He clearly has a great time when he’s out with her. She sent some lovely photos. Would highly recommend.”

About: I’m a dependable and compassionate pet sitter with a genuine love for all animals. I always provide a high level of care and attention and treat each pet as if they were my own. I take the time to understand their personalities, routines, and needs, so they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I have had lots of experience pet sitting for not only my friends and family, but various others in my hometown. This means I am able to maintain a calm energy around anxious pets who aren’t familiar with me yet and quickly adapt to each individual animal’s personal needs. I’m looking forward to making lots of new furry friends! I’m a student at Newcastle University, but I am on summer holiday at the moment so I am extremely flexible and able to adapt to your needs! When I care for pets in their own home, I stick to their routine, giving them plenty of love, play, and attention. I respect your space, keep things clean, and stay on top of any special needs or meds. My priority is keeping your pet comfortable, happy, and safe.

About: I’ll provide your pup with the 5⭐️ holiday they deserve 🥰🐶 I have grown up always with animals and worked at a kennels for a few years during my studies, I then spent 6 months in Australia where I did the Australian version of Rover and thoroughly enjoyed getting to care for each pup (for which my reviews are in my photo section). I just finished my Zoology BSc at the university of Plymouth where I studied topics such as animal nutrition, welfare and advanced animal behaviour which support my passion for providing good, safe animal care. I am confident and experienced with all sized dogs, having worked with most breeds during my time in dog care. A typical stay with be would include 2 walks a day (longer or shorter depending on your pup), with lots of cuddles and play time back at the house. I will be with your pup all day and do any work/admin stuff at home 🏠 I am confident handling dogs on walks and will keep dogs on leads in public for their safety (unless confident with recall in a safe environment). I’d give your pet constant attention and reassurance, I always send regular photo updates throughout their stay :)
About: I am accustom to looking after dogs of all shapes and sizes, breeds, and ages meaning that I can provide custom treatment and care for your dog. I have experience medicating and caring for elderly dogs as well as the skill set that training two litters has given me as well. I am a university student who works part time over the summer! My schedule is very flexible especially when dates are booked a week or two in advance. I cannot cater to having dogs in my home due to my own pets, however, I am used to caring for dogs in their homes and adjusting to their normal routine so minimise the change for the pet, such as sticking to their normal timed routine.

Rebecca was fantastic in taking care of my cockerpoo while I was away on holiday. My dog can be nervous of strangers, but he immediately took to Rebecca. Rebecca was punctual and adapted the walks to the recent heatwave so he was kept safe in the heat. I would highly recommend her and will definitely use her again.
