Hi, I’m Laura — a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets professionally, as well as for friends, family, and neighbours. I’ve shared my life with dogs and cats of my own, so I completely understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. My aim is always to make your pet feel safe, settled, and cared for — and to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every animal as an individual, with patience, affection, and close attention to their needs, routines, and personality. I’m especially experienced with small to medium-sized dogs, and I also have a lifelong love of cats, having grown up with them as childhood pets. I hold basic qualifications in animal behaviour and dog and cat nutrition, and I previously worked in a pet care shop, where I supported owners with advice on everyday care, food, wellbeing, and enrichment. I’m also a trained Reiki therapist with a focus on animals, and can offer gentle animal Reiki as an optional extra during visits, if it feels right for you and your pet. This is always led by the animal and offered with sensitivity and care. At the moment, I’m offering drop-in visits for cats and dogs only. During visits, I’ll make sure your pet is cared for, fed, checked on, and given comfort and attention, while keeping you updated with messages, photos, and check-ins so you can feel completely at ease.
