Affordable dog care Tunbridge Wells

When your doggy stays with us they become part of our little family 🥰 We have Arthur, a 3 year old cockapoo, who’s super friendly and gets on really well with the variety of dogs we’ve cared for. He is playful, but equally able to read other dogs energy levels and happy to snooze the afternoon away under my desk. We’ve looked after many different dog breeds, ranging from whippets to sausage dogs, and are happy to help with doggy day care or longer stays. We’ve also got additional insurance and can send details upon request. I do try and only look after one dog at a time, just as I work from home and with more than two I can't provide them level of attention they deserve. For that reason I don’t tend to do weekly recurring care.

Fran and Jamie gave Stark a great break. As a nervous dog we were very pleased with how successful his stay was. Communication leading up to and during was fantastic, quick accurate and always very friendly. We will definitely use again in the future when needed. Thanks guys!

Francesca looked after my little Pomeranian for 2 weeks while I was away and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to leave him with. She kept me updated with messages and photos the whole time, which made such a difference and put my mind at ease. It was really clear he was happy, relaxed and getting loads of love and attention. When I got back, he was calm, healthy and clearly had a great tim, I don’t think he even missed me that much 😂 Would 100% book with Francesca again and definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog sitter.

First time with Francesca and first time with a sitter through Rover. Albie is an elderly chap and so needed a lovely comfy home. He was so well looked after and clearly became part of the family very quickly. I was kept updated on progress and was sent lovely photos. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you to Francesca and Jamie!

Francesca is a wonderful pet-sitter! Milo loved her and I think was a bit disappointed when it was time to come home. She clearly loves dogs and the work she does. Goes on long walks with the pooches, extending treats along the way. All fun and games with Francesca! Highly recommend!

Great sitter - I had a number of family issues and Fran could not have been nicer and more accommodating for me or my dog. We set up and easy going play date and I was kept up to speed on how the sit was going. Lovely home ideal for dogs and easy drop off and pick up. Thank you!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I work from home full time Monday to Friday, so pet care slots into my routine really naturally. Most of my day is spent at my desk with a couple of meetings through the week, so your dog will always have company. I usually take Arthur for a one hour walk in the nearby St. John’s Meadow, or if it’s a muddy for a road walk around Boyne Park.

Safety, trust & environment

Me, my husband and Arthur live in a cosy ground floor flat in central Tunbridge Wells. While we don’t have a private garden, but there’s a secure communal space just outside for quick toilet breaks. There’s also St. John’s park and meadow just across the road for a quick run. It’s a relaxed and friendly home, perfect for small to medium dogs who enjoy a peaceful weekday routine.

A typical day

When your doggy stays with us they become part of our little family, that’s why we try and keep to just one dog at a time so everyone gets the care and attention they deserve 🥰 I tend to take Arthur for a 45 minute to 1 hour walk a day, as well as a 20-30 min evening walk and plenty of toilet breaks during the day, and your best friend will get the same (depending on energy levels). I work from home full time so they’ve always got human company, and plenty of cuddles on the sofa. Arthur does love a play, but equally is good at reading other dogs energy levels and is happy snoozing the afternoon away.

Arthur gets fed twice a day and we tend to leave out dry food, but work around our furry friends needs, and we feed everyone separately. Arthur is really friendly, a little excited at the beginning but settles down quickly and makes fast friends with anyone.
