We're Lucy & Emma, a dog loving couple who have had dogs for most of our lives and understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your dog while you're away. 🐶 💖 We currently share our home with Lula, our gorgeous two year old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Lula is incredibly friendly, loving, and well socialised, and she genuinely enjoys the company of other dogs. She will be here throughout your dog's stay, providing companionship, play, and helping visiting dogs feel part of the family from day one. Over the years, we have cared for many dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. We know that being away from their owners can be a big adjustment, whether it's for a weekend or a longer holiday. Through this experience, we've learned that every dog is unique and settles into a new environment in their own way. Some dogs arrive ready to play and explore immediately, while others need a little more time and reassurance. We take the time to understand each dog's routine, preferences, and personality so we can help them feel comfortable, relaxed, and secure during their stay. Our home is clean, tidy, and fully dog friendly, with a secure, fully fenced garden where dogs can safely play, explore, and relax. What a day looks like with us: We both work from home, so pet care is a natural and constant part of our daily routine. We already care for our own dog Lula throughout the day, so we’re used to regular walks, playtime, feeding, training and plenty of attention and companionship. Because we’re at home most of the time, dogs are rarely left alone and are fully integrated into our day to day life. In our home, dogs are treated as part of the family and included in our daily routine. We follow each dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, rest, and any training or house rules. We take time to help each dog settle in and feel comfortable. We have a secure, fully fenced garden for safe outdoor play and toilet breaks where needed. We also provide regular updates with photos and messages so owners can feel reassured while they’re away.
“Atlanta was an absolute dream for taking my two on short notice - they can both be a little phased when in a new place but not even 10 minutes after dropping them off I got a photo of them having the biggest cuddles with her! Highly recommend and will definitely be retuning, presuming she wasn’t all cuddled out on this visit!”

I am experienced in veterinary care for all animals and able to provide care for elderly paws as well as young! About: As a child I had chickens, ducks, terrapins, polecats, dogs and cats. With my own children I have added hamsters, stick insects and fish my experience. I am self employed on a freelance basis so very flexible about when I am available. A lot of my work is done from home. I have a large garden set back from the road. Good access to off road walks. One area of the garden is fenced. Large kitchen, hard floors with a sofa for pets.
About: My first word was Jas, our dogs name, a fact my mother frequently reminds me of. We then had Toby, a Golden Retriever who helped me learn to walk by allowing me to pull myself up using his ruff. Over the years my immediate family has had many pets and at one point we had 2 dogs, 5 cats, 9 Guinea pigs & 2 rabbits. As well as 3 children. Then there were the rats, Zippy,Bungle & George. So I have experience caring for a wide variety of fur babies. It’s been 15 years since I’ve had my own dog and now it’s just the cat & me. My eldest daughter (who lives abroad) has 6 dogs, 2 cats, 2 chinchillas, 2 ducks & 15 chickens. When I visit her there’s always a 4 legged furry who wants to play or is happy to cuddle. My younger daughter and my son have one dog each and as they both live in the UK I’m regularly asked to dog sit. My brother lives quite close by so I am lucky enough to have time with his adorable, ball crazy Sprocker. I am retired and recently widowed so am flexible with my availability. I have an elderly mother who lives nearby & I visit her several days a week for an hour or so. She too loves dogs & would be happy for me to take my new friends to visit her. I have a good size, secure garden to play in. I have an elderly cat who doesn’t like dogs but fortunately it is easy to segregate him to one part of the house. This works well when my grand dogs come to stay. I don’t drive so all walks would be on the lead road walks but the garden is a great place to play ball. I’m happy to dog walk or feed/cuddle/brush cats/ Guinea pigs/rabbits that live within reasonable walk (or bus ride) from my home.
About: I am an animal lover i have had dogs, cats, hamsters, guniee pigs and more in my life. Your pet will be showerd with love. I work from home so I will be around all day and night to care for, play with and love your pet. I have 3 kids who will also shower them with love I have a secure garden a nice big home and lots of lovely places to walk. We live in a close away from any main roads.
