About: I have always loved dogs and have been around them all my life. I am the kind of person who goes to a party and makes friends with the dog. I am a calm, gentle person and my dog’s welfare and happiness is a high priority for me. Any dog in my care will be treated as one of the family. We allow dogs on sofas and beds and our home is a peaceful haven of relaxation and love. I work a lot from home so am around during the day as well as evenings and weekends. Our day always starts with a walk in the woods, park or trail and then we chill, play and I work during the day. Evenings are often spent cuddled up on the sofa watching TV before turning in early. I have a secure, medium sized garden and dogs are allowed on furniture and beds. Esme, my 6 year old Cavapoo is calm and sociable and welcomes friends to share the sofa and bed with her. We have toys, treats and chews available to keep everyone busy and happy. Dogs will not be left for more than 4 hours and I will often take them with me if I go out.
“Roksi and her family took care of my Westie for a few days. She was relaxed and happy at the end of her visit and I have no doubt got much more attention than she normally would have at home. Happy to recommend.”

“Just collected a very happy Saffee today. She had a lovely stay with Lauren. We received regular updates and photos . Will definitely book with Lauren again in the future. Can thoroughly recommend her.”

About: I just love dogs, all shapes and sizes! I have lifelong experience with dogs of small/medium breeds. After recently losing my own beloved 3-legged rescue dog, I’m opening my home, (heart) and spacious garden to offer a safe, comfortable environment for dogs who need boarding. It's not the same without a smiley, welcome wag when you come home! I understand that every dog is unique, and I’m attentive, patient, and committed to making each stay relaxed and fun for your furry friend. I treat each dog as it were my own - lots of cuddles, toys & attention. They're part of my family. I work part‑time in my local area providing assistance to older and vulnerable people. It’s only around 10 hours a week, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m able to be home for most of the day. This allows me to give your pup plenty of attention and a calm, consistent routine. My home in Town Row, Rotherfield offers easy access to woodland paths, open countryside, and Millennium Green is great for safe, varied walks. On or off lead is at your discretion. My husband & I have a quiet household with no children or other pets, and our modern home includes a spacious, secure garden looking onto a meadow with plenty of outdoor space to watch the birds, squirrels & deer!
“I would highly recommend Nelsymar. She is really warm and friendly. Kept me up-to-date with what was going on with Blue. I felt he was in really good, caring, attentive and responsible hands. He had a lovely time and I had total peace of mind. There was a lovely time and, secure garden for him too. Thank you so much Nelsymar!”

“We couldn’t ask for a better person to look after our dog! Abbie clearly loves animals and we knew our pup would be very well looked after and throughly spoiled during his stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to others!”

“Julia was an excellent host for Violet, she has a lovely property with garden and made sure that she was a good match for her before having her stay for the night. I would definitely ask Julia to look after Violet in the future as she had a great time there!”

Even our little rescue Millie, who has a few trust issues with new people and displays some anxiety towards change, soon settled and was happy. “Phoebe was the perfect pet sitter looking after our cat Penny for the weekend whilst we went away. She put us as ease instantly, and it was clear she was more than comfortable looking after Penny, keeping us updated as we hadn’t left Penny before, and leaving the house so nice and tidy for us to get back to. We would definitely love for Phoebe to come and sit Penny again, and would highly recommend her. Penny made a new bestie too!”

I am currently doing a dog grooming course to learn more about dog and to spend even more time with them I’m currently working full time, but I want to start doing dog grooming and walking full time as I have always loved the idea of this. About: Now taking bookings for February half term and the Easter holidays! PLEASE BE AWARE THAT DUE TO MY FULL-TIME DAY JOB, I AM ONLY AVAILABLE ON OCCASIONAL WEEKENDS AND SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. I am a teacher so can only offer dog sitting, walking and drop-in visits services on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I also recommend a meet and greet at least one week before your booking. Taking care of dogs is the best job in the world! I've loved working on Rover for the opportunity to take care of the amazing dogs in Sussex. I am a former President of the University of Sussex Dog Walking Society and through this, I had the chance to interact with owners and fellow walkers to gain a substantial knowledge of dog care and dog breed information. I have taken care of a variety of dogs; big and small, young and old, abled and disabled so I have no issue taking care of any type of dog. I am trained in dog first aid training so you don't have to worry about any issue that may arise. Whilst working in the University of Sussex Dog Walking Society, I look after a rescue dog named Maggie and her sister Millie . They have taught me so much about dog care and the love that I have for dogs and have thus inspired me to help out other dog owners in caring for their dogs when they need it. •Please be aware that 15% of payments goes to Rover to cover ongoing support, educational opportunities, and promotion of services. Therefore, my rates are: House Sitting - £21.25 + £3.75 to Rover = £25 Dog Walking – £12.75 + £2.25 to Rover = £15 Drop-In Visits - £10.20 + £1.80 to Rover = £12 Thank you for your understanding! • Walks last for 30 minutes unless the 60 minute supplement is added by the owner. Adding the supplement gives myself and your dog(s) the opportunity to travel further afield such as to Eastbourne Beach or into the Downs. I also choose to take care of dogs from one household at a time so that I can invest my full energy towards those dogs. I am a teacher so can only offer dog sitting, walking and drop-in visits services on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I also recommend a meet and greet at least one week before your booking. During our meet and greet, I will learn as much as I can about the daily schedule of your dog(s) and how I can seamlessly enter the household without interruption. Doggy day care and dog boarding will include playtime, cuddles and interactions with other people.

About: Lifelong Dog Owners | Secure Garden | Friendly Resident Toller Hello! We're Lucy & Emma, a dog loving couple who have had dogs for most of our lives and understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your dog while you're away. 🐶 💖 We currently share our home with Lula, our gorgeous two year old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Lula is incredibly friendly, loving, and well socialised, and she genuinely enjoys the company of other dogs. She will be here throughout your dog's stay, providing companionship, play, and helping visiting dogs feel part of the family from day one. Over the years, we have cared for many dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. We know that being away from their owners can be a big adjustment, whether it's for a weekend or a longer holiday. Through this experience, we've learned that every dog is unique and settles into a new environment in their own way. Some dogs arrive ready to play and explore immediately, while others need a little more time and reassurance. We take the time to understand each dog's routine, preferences, and personality so we can help them feel comfortable, relaxed, and secure during their stay. Our home is clean, tidy, and fully dog friendly, with a secure, fully fenced garden where dogs can safely play, explore, and relax. We understand how reassuring it is to know your dog is happy, so we love to provide regular updates, photos, and videos during their stay. We look forward to welcoming your dog into our home and giving them all the love, care, attention and fun they deserve while you're away. What a day looks like with us: We both work from home, so pet care is a natural and constant part of our daily routine. We already care for our own dog Lula throughout the day, so we’re used to regular walks, playtime, feeding, training and plenty of attention and companionship. Because we’re at home most of the time, dogs are rarely left alone and are fully integrated into our day to day life. In our home, dogs are treated as part of the family and included in our daily routine. We follow each dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, rest, and any training or house rules. We take time to help each dog settle in and feel comfortable. We have a secure, fully fenced garden for safe outdoor play and toilet breaks where needed. We also provide regular updates with photos and messages so owners can feel reassured while they’re away.

About: Myself and my sister have lived with big dogs and all other animals my entire life. We have lots of experience walking dogs and pet sitting all sorts of animals including snakes and livestock! Myself, Berry, has been working on a professional event yard since I was 14 (Full time since finishing a-levels) and owning my own horses and dogs, I have the ultimate experience in animal care from basic needs to knowing what to do in unusual situations. I have worked alongside my Mum during my own dog’s pregnancy and with the puppies to 9weeks. Additionally, I spent 6 months working with rescue horses at the weekends who had more medical needs so have learnt to deal with those issues calmly and efficiently. I have been house sitting for many families for the last 3 years and love meeting new pets! References can be provided if you would like! Alongside me house sitting would be my sister, 18 & can drive. She is both incredibly reliable, confident and caring around all animals. We do this together to ensure we can be available at all times for your pets. I am more than happy to provide extra services as long as I know in advance. I also slot my life into the current pets so their schedule doesn’t change as their owners being away can be stressful enough. I am an early riser so very early walks or feeding times do not bother me. If you have other animals as well as dogs or cats I can cater for them too. E.g. horses to reptiles. Myself and my sister, 18 + can drive, will both be doing the house sit together. That way, even if one of us has work your pet won’t be alone for longer than the recommended time period. If you are looking for a drop in visit for 60 minutes +, I can offer that at an addition £9 per hour for as many hours as you are wishing. Just let me know in your initial message after requesting a booking. We can easily care for whatever extra needs your pet may need in the house, garden, walk or car. Nothing phases myself or my sister.

About: I have experienced with both the young and the old and happy to give medicine as required. I’m calm and caring around different natured animals My children are now grown up, giving me more time. My love for animals, allows me to help others with their animals. I have been spending time, house-sitting, as we have not currently got a dog or cat (for the first time in a very long time) and enjoying the travels to do so.. Therefore, I plan to continue, pet/housesitting, before committing ourselves to rescuing again in the future. I have experienced pets are far more settled in their own environment, therefore, I feel it’s important, for me to fit in with their needs. It depends on the owners requests, as depending on the dog or cats age and needs, I am happy to take them out locally or in my car. I am happy in the rain and love to investigate new areas and walks.

Prior to Lyra we cared for Lottie, a lot more demanding she was a boundlessly energised boxer who loved to chase and tug with toys. We enjoy daily walks locally and also at various woods, nature reserves and parks. I will never look after more than 4 dogs at any one time to ensure they receive the love and attention they are used to. I can offer in addition the following: Wash, shampoo and dry £10
