“Felicity went above and beyond to care for my Molly at short notice. Molly was so well looked after. Felicity and her family were wonderful and clearly gave her lots of love, along with lovely Ash. Molly came home absolutely knackered, which says it all! Super appreciate the photos too ✨ Thank you so much and would love for Molly to return again 🥰”

“Ruxandu is fantastic. My 4-year-old chihuahua is a very nervous dog and also has separation anxiety. But Ruxandu looked after her very well, sent lots of nice photos and videos to me so I knew whether she was happy. My dog seemed to have a good time with her. I would definitively recommend her.”

About: I have over five and a half years of hands-on experience caring for cats and dogs, both in my own home and in owners’ homes. I come from a strong rescue background; we cared for over 30 cats at a time, rehomed cats internationally, and regularly rescued cats from the streets. For more than two years, I personally managed to feed almost 50–60 stray cats every evening, ensuring food, clean water, hygiene, and regular monitoring of their health and wellbeing with a friend's help, who was providing food. This taught me responsibility, consistency, and deep compassion for animals. I have also provided trusted in-home pet sitting for many families. Owners regularly chose me when travelling because they wanted their pets to stay comfortable in their own environment. I stayed in their homes for short and long periods, caring for cats and dogs, following routines, administering food, walking dogs, playing, and providing companionship. I always send daily photo and video updates so owners feel reassured and connected. I understand how emotionally difficult it can be to leave a pet behind, and I take that trust very seriously. I am calm, patient, observant, and genuinely passionate about animal welfare. My goal is to give pets love, safety, routine, and comfort, and to give owners complete peace of mind. I’m a university student with morning classes on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I’m free most evenings and other days, flexible, reliable, and always prioritise pets’ safety. I had many cats back home and took care of the dogs of my neighbors and people from social media. I follow each pet’s routine exactly, learn their food, walks, and habits beforehand, arrive on time, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
“Kasia was absolutely wonderful with our Molly! She and her lovely dog buddy gave Molly such a fun time with plenty of walks. We really appreciated the photo and video updates throughout the day 🥰 Highly recommend Kasia and would not hesitate to book again! ❤️”

Roksana was a wonderful carer for Luna for the day. She was super diligent when we first booked, having never met Luna, she offered to arrange a quick phone call so I could walk her through Luna’s average day and details about her. Roksana was then really communicative and on top of things, sent some lovely pictures and handed back an exhausted, happy doggy. 10/10 would recommend !

Thunder had a wonderful day staying with Gary. We have not left Thunder before and she was at home straight away. She remembered the house and could not wait to go in when we got there. She was so happy to be there that when we picked her up she was still playing with Gary and his lovely wife. Gary is wonderful with dogs. We will be booking again.
Danwei has looked after my puppy Atlas twice now and done an amazing job! It is obvious that Atlas has had plenty of good, engaging playtime as he is calm and content when I walk him home afterwards (he usually yanks my arm off if he is too energetic still). Danwei has been fantastic and so thoughtful in his communication, and very accommodating with timing when I needed it which was so appreciated. I definitely recommend him and will happily continue to book with him myself :)

I had a great experience with Ross. He understood Sheru as he is still a puppy a d was very calm and he knew how to handle a puppy. Sheru enjoyed his long walks and Ross also told me about his situation on walks. I would want to put my pup Sheru with Ross again in near future.

Lola is looked after really well and enjoys going there during the day. Manpreet and her husband send lots of updates and check in regularly. They have a lovely house with a big garden. Lola enjoyed playing with their dog, Shera. Sometimes they have not been able to accommodate Lola because of work schedules but they have given us as much notice as possible so we could use our other dog sitter.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
