“Couldn't be more pleased! Jasper had a long walk and chill out with Francescos lovely dog. He came back content and relaxed. We are still getting to know our rescue Dog so seeing a picture of the 2 dogs asleep together on the sofa was great. Francesco is kind, patient and experienced and jasper settled with him nicely. 😊👍”

About: Hey I’m Rhianne 🙂 I grew up with animals from a very small age we always had family pets from dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and even goats at one point. My parents rescued our last two dogs, that was amazing to give them the best life after being neglected. I have lots of experience taking care of different breeds of dogs and I thoroughly enjoy looking after them and spending time with them, giving them lots of love and attention. I am very adaptable and understand each little fur baby has their own personality. I work from home so I am very flexible through out the day. I have 2x 15 minute breaks and 1 hour lunch so plenty of time to take your pets to the toilet and for walks before, during my lunch or after work. I go to the gym regularly so pets that are OK to be left for a couple of hours on their own is more suitable for me. I will send plenty of updates with photos and messages to assure you that your fur babies are safe and being well cared for. I am very attentive and ensure a high standard of care when caring for pets. I will follow all feeding, walking routines given to me and give your fur babies lots of cuddles and love. If there are specific routines with feeding, walking or requirements for pets these can be given to me to follow.
“Daniel was very welcoming from the very beginning of our communication. Our dog settled very quickly and didn't even seem worried that we were leaving. Daniel kept me updated on Zeus' care throughout the day, including photos and videos, which was very reassuring for us. Daniel also provided additional information on Zeus' Doggy Day Care Card. This allowed us to know how any walks he had, which routes he was taken on, toileting habits logged, as well as fluid intake logged. We are very happy with the care provided, by Daniel, and will definitely be booking with him very soon! 10/10”

“My dog absolutely loves staying with Sam, and he’s always so well looked after. We have used Sam a few times now and will keep using her again and again, highly recommend! X”

About: Hi, I’m Lorna! I’m a reliable, caring and experienced dog lover based in a safe, comfortable home environment. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your dog, and I treat every dog I look after like part of the family. I offer a calm, loving space where your dog can relax, play, and feel at home while you’re away. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, or just curling up for a nap, I tailor their stay to suit their personality and routine. I have lots of experience through having my own dogs all my life, caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments, and I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you have—feeding routines, medication, training needs, or favourite walking spots. 🐶 What you can expect: • Daily walks and plenty of attention • A safe, clean and secure home • Regular updates, photos and messages • Flexible drop-off and pick-up times • Lots of cuddles & care Your dog’s happiness and wellbeing always come first, and I aim to make their stay as stress-free and enjoyable as possible—for both you and them. Feel free to get in touch with any questions—I’d love to meet you and your dog! 🐾 I currently work from home, so can fit around your pups needs. We live near the sea front & a lovely park for fun filled walkies. I have a fenced in garden to let off steam & cosy sofas for your fur baby to snuggle in on. Our home is a dog friendly space, so they can feel right at home.
About: I am a naturally very patient, calm and compassionate person. My number one priority will always be to ensure your pets safety and happiness :) I have plenty of free time during the week with my youngest child being at school all day and my eldest having recently moved out. I have a fenced garden & a small friendly dog to keep your pup company, also have a gated utility room to give separate quiet time if required.
About: Lots of friends and relatives have relied on me to take care of their pups. Whilst I don’t have any accreditations or dogs myself, I can promise that I’d care for yours as if they were my own. They’d bring me just as much joy as I’d hopefully bring them. I do have two little guinea pigs, Peanut & Milo who I dote on but they don’t honestly give much back 😂 They are in a raised hutch which can be moved into one of the bedrooms if needed. I work from home most days each week except the odd Thursday and am honestly looking for motivation to get out on walks now that the dreaded cold has come back. I’m relatively autonomous over my calendar too so can move things around with a fair amount of ease to be flexible. I live in a high rise apartment but it has an extremely safe and very large roof garden space so the best of both worlds whether your pup prefers to run around outside or curl up on the sofa in front of the TV.
“Rufus had a great time with Annie! Annie shared lots of feedback and updates throughout the day which was really appreciated. He’ll definitely be going back for more day care. Thanks again!😃”

“Mary was fantastic, my only regret is that I don’t live in town or else I’d use her all the time! Boodle ran straight to her when we arrived at the house and it was very clear he’d had a lovely day when we picked him up. Mary was communicative and caring - we couldn’t ask for better!”

About: I have been caring for dogs from a young age, providing pet-sitting services for friends, family, and neighbors. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, bathing, and house-sitting for dogs of various breeds and temperaments. These early experiences allowed me to develop a strong foundation in dog care and an understanding of their diverse needs. When I moved out of my family home, I was finally able to adopt my own dog, Loki. Loki is an energetic and lively dog who requires regular exercise and consistent attention. Since bringing him into my life as a puppy, I have successfully trained him in various areas, including house training, obedience, and loose-lead walking. Our bond and mutual understanding have grown through this training, and it has enhanced my ability to work with dogs of all personalities. Additionally, I had the privilege of caring for my cousin's dog in her later years. She had several health challenges, and I provided her with the special care and attention she needed until she passed. This experience taught me invaluable lessons in managing the health and well-being of senior dogs. Through these experiences, I have developed a deep understanding of animal behavior, health requirements, and how to ensure a pet’s emotional and physical well-being. I am dedicated to offering reliable and compassionate care, ensuring that each pet I care for feels comfortable, loved, and well-attended to. You can count on me to provide the highest standard of care for your dog. I work part-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide dedicated care for dogs on a regular basis. This schedule allows me to balance my professional responsibilities with my passion for animals, ensuring I have ample time for daily walks, play, and companionship. My part-time hours are carefully structured to ensure that I can enable for your dog to receive consistent attention, exercise, and emotional enrichment. This arrangement enables me to be fully present for the dogs I care for, offering them a reliable and loving environment throughout the day. In my home, I provide a safe and comfortable environment for pets, even though I live in a flat. I ensure that your dog receives plenty of exercise and bathroom breaks by taking them on regular walks throughout the day. I live by the sea which is perfect for enriched walks/runs, and don’t worry if your dog gets too muddy as I am always happy to bathe them with your consent. These walks I offer are tailored to meet their energy levels and help them stay happy and healthy. While I do have a crate at home, which I can use if necessary, I generally don’t anticipate needing it, as I can be present to supervise and ensure your dog feels comfortable. My dog is friendly and sociable, but I understand that not all dogs get along with others. If your dog is not comfortable around other dogs, I can make arrangements to care for your pet without my dog being present, by taking my dog to my family home during your dog's stay. Ultimately, I strive to create a calm and secure environment that meets each pet's individual needs, whether it's in my flat or your home.

About: I have extensive experience caring for all types of dogs, from small breeds like Cocker Spaniels to large and strong breeds such as German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, and American Akitas. I’ve cared for energetic, playful dogs as well as calm, older dogs, so I’m confident handling any personality. I’ve spent years walking, feeding, grooming, and giving plenty of attention to dogs, always making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved. I treat every dog as if they were my own, tailoring care to their individual needs and personality. Whether it’s a long walk, a game of fetch, or some quiet cuddle time, I love spending time with dogs and giving them the care and attention they deserve. 🐾💛 Caring for pets is part of my daily routine – walks, feeding, playtime, and cuddles – and I love spending quality time with dogs and cats. I follow owners’ instructions, provide food, water, walks, play, and cuddles, keeping pets happy, safe, and comfortable in their own home environment, and love it x
“Wow! Teddy loves going to Hayley’s and we would certainly recommend her to anyone. She’s great with Ted and he loves going there. Can’t wait to book up again. Thank you sweetie for having our fur baby ;-) xxx”

About: Since the age of 7, I have been the happy owner of three wonderful dogs: an American Cocker Spaniel, a Rottweiler and a Toy Terrier. In addition, I also looked after two cats - one was a yard cat and the other was a beautiful British Scottish Straight. I have experience of working with animals with special needs, as one cat is ill and needed a special diet, I know how important it is to follow instructions and give the individualised care needed for his health and wellbeing. I also take care of the pets of my friends who need to go away. They send me instructions, which I am happy to follow. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly work. I prioritise the well-being and happiness of my pets, making sure they receive the attention, care and love they deserve. As for my weekly routine, I set aside time for grooming: brushing, clipping nails and general hygiene. I also work remotely as a designer, so I can shape my own schedule, so I'm available anytime weekdays. Whether caring for pets in my home or a pet owner's home, my approach is centred around providing a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for the animals under my care. I respect the routines and habits established by the pet owner, maintaining consistency with feeding schedules, exercise routines. I provide companionship and engage in playtime, ensuring the pets receive the attention and affection they need. Also I understand that you want to be kept informed of how your pet is doing while you are away. I am committed to providing you with regular photos and messages so that you can see that your pet is in good hands and happy:))
About: We have lived in a home where we fostered abandoned and abused dogs and cats from Romania for years. Nurturing them and loving them so they feel safe to go to their forever homes. Some we may have kept hehe. Pets have been a part of my family and childhood up until now and Charlie has live in a home with domestic animals to farm animals. We both travel and haven’t got the space for a full time animal of our own so let us be the cool aunt and uncle to your baby for the day and I will look after them till mummy or daddy can get home. We have had dogs, cats, birds, fish, terrapins, chickens and hamsters. Mostly at the same time in the same home! Charlie has lived in a home with chickens, foster dogs and abused animals where he nurtured them back to feeling safe again. Fact: Dog frequency music is much better than human ones. Give it a go! I am flexible to assist and willing to discuss what is best suited for your care needs. I am also happy to have them over night for a sleepover! Cuddles are even more snuggly in the evening. Safety: Ensuring that the dog doesn’t feel scared to be around me or in my home. That it feels like a second home to them and they are excited to see me as much as I am them. Love: giving them all the love and attention they would get at home so they don’t feel abandoned or scared. Food and health: fun and walks are important and making sure I stick to the dietary requirements as it’s crucial for a dogs life span how their health is.
“Beverley is fantastic! Great communication throughout the day with lots of lovely pictures. My dog can be anxious with new people but he settled in so well and looked as if he didn’t want to leave when I came to collect him! Would recommend to everyone x”

Caitlin and Lauren were absolute angels and definitely treated Bonnie like their own! They took her for a walk along the beach, gave her enrichment games and most importantly lots of love! It takes a lot for Bonnie to trust new people but she was comfortable with them almost immediately :) honestly couldn’t be happier with them today, thank you guys again!!!

It’s the first time I have left my puppy so I was nervous about leaving PJ for the day. But after meeting Danielle I realised that PJ would be well cared for. Danielle gave me updates so I felt very reassured. PJ was very happy and very tired when I picked her up, I think she had a really lovely day. Thank you Danielle, I will definitely be in touch again.

Sam looked after Molly whilst I was at work I got regular pics through the day and my pup was well worn out when she got home. Loved my little updates through the day and my girl got to play with another puppy too which socialised her! Will be using Sam every week going forward 🥰 thank you Sam ❤️

On arrival Melanie was outside to greet us. She was all smiles and welcoming. I was anxious. My daughter was not well 23 weeks pregnant I had to take her to A&E urgently and sent a request for short notice daycare and Melanie responded quickly. She looked after my little man really well. She had many dogs when we arrived but you could see she was totally at ease and in control of them all. Thank you Melanie if I need you again I will call. You even gave him snuggles when the fireworks started that meant a lot. 💜💜💜

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in East of England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
