About: My extended family have always had dogs and I've got experience with many breeds from great danes to yorshire terriers through all stages of their lives. From a youngster we had German shepherd's in the family and I was raised knowing that dogs are not pets, they are beloved family members with complex needs. I've volunteered at a number of animal rescues over the last two decades, driven by my love of animals and skill in dealing with a wide range of species. I'm the proud dad of a large rescue staffy x who is the centre of my world. You can be assured I will treat your companion with the utmost kindness and respect. I'm flexible depending on your dogs needs, I really enjoy long walks but if your dog prefers a slower, more sniffy walk, I'm happy to amble along at their pace. I'm at home most of the day as I don't leave my dog alone for longer than 2/3 hours. I'm an electrician by trade but am currently on an extended sabbatical. I'm in a ground floor flat with an 80 foot long, secure back garden with a 6ft fence. We have a friendly rescue dog, a young male bulldog x staffy. He's well socislised and enjoys the company of other dogs, he's neutered but particularly loves the ladies. We're a 20 minute walk from parks and the sea front. I'm trustworthy, respectful and have a recent DBS check if you require me to attend your home.
“Gus and Ruby really enjoyed their stay with Natalie and Finn. Natalie puts a lot of thought into their stay and looked after them well, also providing us with lots of pictures and updates. They came home happy, I think they enjoyed their holiday! Would recommend x”

About: I’m very used to looking after cats and understanding their different personalities and individual needs. One experience that really stands out was when my brother and I helped care for two tiny kittens who had sadly been abandoned in a box when they were very young. We had to feed them with a syringe for a while, which was quite a responsibility, but it was also such a rewarding experience. We quickly fell completely in love with them and ended up giving them a loving home, where they stayed with us until they sadly passed away. I’ve always had a very soft spot for animals, especially those who need a little extra love, patience and care. 🐾❤️

About: Hey, I’m Nicky. I would love to care for your cats when you’re away, leaving you worry free. I’ve had pets all my life and can’t imagine not having any. I’m a sucker for a rescue and currently have 2 ex-breeding Siberian Queens, Guinness and Schnapps. They’ve needed a lot of patience, love and time to settle in. I also have Marilyn and Manson, my African dwarf frogs and Fluffy T, a Paraguan red hair tarantula. EDIT - I’ve now also rescued a giant African land snail and called him Gary. I’m semi-retired, so have plenty of time and love to give. I was a vet’s receptionist and in my absolute element with the animals. I looked after the practice partner’s Bengal who’s favourite game was to climb as high as she could then jump on my back as soon as I leaned over 😹 I have lots of experience owning very nervous cats and have a calm and patient nature, ensuring nervous cats have their individual needs met in a calm and patient way. All my cats have been rescues with special needs. I love all animals and am happy to care for rodents, rabbits, fish and reptiles if needed ❤️ I am fully police checked. I do not raise my fees during holiday periods. I look forward to meeting you and your cat(s) xx

“Absolutely wonderful! 10 stars. Michelle was very loving and caring for my cats and very responsible towards house sitting as well. I wanted lots of updates and got the most hilarious pictures and videos with such funny and cute captions. Tofu messed up with the water fountain and she very kindly brought her own. Highly recommended. ”

“I am very happy with Nicole, she did a fabulous job looking after my 3 furbabies, she was kind and patient with my nervous boy Oscar. She sent pics and updates at each visit, I felt I could relax while I was away knowing they were cared for. Will definitely book her again, and would highly recommend her services. ”

“Claire updated me with pictures whilst I was away and kept me informed as to how the cats were doing (apologies again that Luna was a bit territorial!).I can't thank Claire enough, she put my mind at ease, especially as it was my first time using a cat sitter. The cats were well looked after and Claire was considerate and communicative throughout. ”

About: I’m a dedicated cat owner with three cats of my own, so I understand how important routine, patience and trust are. I’ve cared for cats of different personalities, from playful and social to shy or anxious and I’m confident with feeding routines, litter care, playtime and giving medication if needed. Friends, neighbours and family have relied on me to check in on their cats and provide calm, attentive care while they’re away. I’m naturally gentle, observant and respectful of each cat’s boundaries, and I always aim to make them feel safe, relaxed and loved in their own environment.

“Ruby was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t be more grateful for how well she looked after my cat! My cat isn’t always the easiest little muffin but Ruby listened to every bit of advice and instruction I gave and really made the whole situation as easy as it could have been! Her home is lovely and the perfect place for a pet to be looked after! Lots of updates with was massively appreciated and I constantly felt reassured that Strudel was doing absolutely fine and was being really well loved and looked after. Thank you so so much!”

“Elizabeth S. Looked after my 2 French Bulldog with care and love. This was the first time I have had someone look after the girls. Elizabeth followed their food needs, clean up after them, made them feel safe. Also, the updates she sent were reassuring. I was able to have a day out to see A Chorus Line with friends knowing my girls were well looked after. I would totally 100% recommend Elizabeth S. When I got home, my girls were settled, happy, fed and my home was clean,”

About: I have always had a dog in the family since I was 2 yrs old. I grew up with dogs, English Springer Spaniel, Dobermans and Greyhounds. I had one dog who lives with my ex that we both got from a puppy and lived with us for 10 years. He is a Schnorkie cross (Schnouzer/Yorkie). I had JJ from a puppy and he is now 13 years old, so have experience of looking after small and big dogs. With my partner took on a Cavachon whose 12 and a half yrs. Love her dearly and she gets lots of love from us and attention and rewards us with lots of licks. I don't work so have plenty of time to walk and enjoy the love of walking dogs, and want dog walking to give me joy and exercise and help other dog owners that need and want help in walking their dog/s and pop-in services and care for their furry babies too. I am happy to walk two dogs if from the same owner, depending on breed and temperament. I drive so I am happy to drive to your home then walk your dog/s and care for them in their own homes. Providing we are both happy with each other and after an initial meet and greet with you and your dog/s I will will then accept the booking. I want you to be happy with me and visa versa and will always have you and your pets interest and care 100% of the time. Will care for your dog in your own home giving them lots of attention and play with their toys and letting them out to do their business. Can incorporate a dog walk with my visit if required. I love dogs and this is my love of what I do during the week days. I will make sure your garden is secure and more the surrounding area if walking your dog too. We will discuss any concerns in our meet and greet.

“Charlotte was a wonderful carer for our terrier. She was extremely flexible when our plans changed and was available at short notice. Charlotte shared plenty of photos and updates throughout the day and even gave him a new toy. I highly recommend Charlotte for dog caring needs!”

“Lorna recently looked after our Jack Russell, Toby, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she gave him. From the moment we met her, she was warm, friendly, and clearly experienced with dogs. She took the time to get to know Toby and made sure he felt comfortable and settled. It was obvious throughout that she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Toby came home happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lorna to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Toby – we’ll definitely be booking with you again!”

About: I had my own labradoodle from a puppy and have cared for friends and families pets since he passed away 8 years ago. Myself and my husband have 2 children (10 & 7) and they love playing with the animals too. We love going for walks as a family and happy for the dogs to tag along! I am currently working part time (flexible days) so am able to change my days if needed to look after your pets. I will be mainly at home during the week so can take on lots of walks/play/toilet breaks. I live in a detached house with a large fenced garden so it’s safe for animals. I don’t have any pets (just the 2 children!) and happy to just care for one at a time (or pets from the same family). I don’t have a crate but have the space for one if you wanted to provide.
About: Hey I’m Rhianne 🙂 I grew up with animals from a very small age we always had family pets from dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and even goats at one point. My parents rescued our last two dogs, that was amazing to give them the best life after being neglected. I have lots of experience taking care of different breeds of dogs and I thoroughly enjoy looking after them and spending time with them, giving them lots of love and attention. I am very adaptable and understand each little fur baby has their own personality. I work from home so I am very flexible through out the day. I have 2x 15 minute breaks and 1 hour lunch so plenty of time to take your pets to the toilet and for walks before, during my lunch or after work. I go to the gym regularly so pets that are OK to be left for a couple of hours on their own is more suitable for me. I will send plenty of updates with photos and messages to assure you that your fur babies are safe and being well cared for. I am very attentive and ensure a high standard of care when caring for pets. I will follow all feeding, walking routines given to me and give your fur babies lots of cuddles and love. If there are specific routines with feeding, walking or requirements for pets these can be given to me to follow.

“Victoria looked after my puppy Luna, she kept me up to date and sent me photos. Luna was safe and well provided for, she went on some lovely walks and I picked Luna up very happy she didn’t want to go. Will be booking with Victoria again in future 😊”

“We were a little anxious about leaving Zeus, we've never used Doggy Day Care before... but Rebecca's home and presence offered a home-from-home feeling. Zeus soon made it obvious that he felt at ease and had a great first day with Rebecca, even drinking his water from his bowl, which he rarely does at home! Great communication, including photographs, throughout the day from Rebecca. We have already booked Zeus is for another day with Rebecca, and would highly recommend her, especially if you have an anxious dog and if you are an equally anxious owner. 10/10”

“Evelina was absolutely brilliant in looking after Moose. He's always a bit shy being looked after by new people but he had a wonderful time and I picked him up all excited and happy. They have a really lovely environment to look after dogs and kept me really informed of how he was getting on. I would highly recommend and Moose will definitely be back!”

About: Lots of friends and relatives have relied on me to take care of their pups. Whilst I don’t have any accreditations or dogs myself, I can promise that I’d care for yours as if they were my own. They’d bring me just as much joy as I’d hopefully bring them. I do have two little guinea pigs, Peanut & Milo who I dote on but they don’t honestly give much back 😂 They are in a raised hutch which can be moved into one of the bedrooms if needed. I work from home most days each week except the odd Thursday and am honestly looking for motivation to get out on walks now that the dreaded cold has come back. I’m relatively autonomous over my calendar too so can move things around with a fair amount of ease to be flexible. I live in a high rise apartment but it has an extremely safe and very large roof garden space so the best of both worlds whether your pup prefers to run around outside or curl up on the sofa in front of the TV.
“So glad we found Hayley and her family! Our pup was spoilt with lots of attention and play time, we were kept updated with lots of photos and videos which kept us at ease after leaving him for the first time. Will be using again and again!”

“So pleased I chose Katy to to doggy sit my little Peaches! This was my first time leaving Peaches with a sitter so did not know what to expect. Katy was fantastic from the start. She was responsive and allowed us to do a meet and greet to ensure Peaches and Katy were a good match. I was updated through out the day with messages and photos which was really reassuring. Peaches did some fun activities whilst with Katy :). Katy even went the extra mile and shared her knowledge and expertise around how to best handle Peaches as she has developed some trauma responses from her previous owners. Peaches also walked away with a teddy which she had chosen! Katy is an incredibly knowledgable in her field of work, and her passion and kindness shines through. Would recommended anyone leaving their doggy with her :)”

About: I've been around all animals for longer than I can remember I have taken care of friends and family's dogs for years I will make sure your fur baby has the best time and that you feel your fur baby is safe 🥰 Caring for pets is part of my daily routine! I plan my schedule around walks, feeding, play time and giving every pet the attention they deserve!! “Beverley is fantastic! Great communication throughout the day with lots of lovely pictures. My dog can be anxious with new people but he settled in so well and looked as if he didn’t want to leave when I came to collect him! Would recommend to everyone x”

About: Hi, my name is Imogen I am a reliable, friendly and caring dog lover who wants to give your dogs the best sleepover possible whilst you’re away! Having had dogs myself I know how important it is to feel your pup is in safe, secure hands. I have had years of experience looking after friends and families dogs - rest assured any dog that comes through my door is treated as my own. Having them stay is the easy bit, giving them back is the trick! I’m a school teacher so school holidays would be my preferred dog sitting days. However, weekends are available where I’m around most of the time. I have a large secure fenced garden and I’m very close to woodlands and dog friendly parks. The dogs will have access to my kitchen and living room which are tiled and floor boards and I will allow bedroom sleeps if that is what your dog is used to.

About: I have always loved dogs and wanted my own one for many years. I finally adopted a tiny little pup in 2018. I’d like to use Rover to help others with small dog care as I know you want to leave your dog with someone who cares as much about them as you do. I'm fairly easy going and patient. I often take care of my friends dogs when they go away so have experience taking care of 2-3 small dogs at a time, though my preference would be just to have one other during the day when I’m working from home and at weekends. Happy to walk any size dog as long as they are good walking on a lead. Will only care for small dogs in my own home as I have a small dog. I work from home 4 days a week and can be available short notice for local walks in Leigh On Sea. Ideally walks before 9am, around lunchtime and after 6pm weekdays. Weekends available on an adhoc basis I have a small secure fenced garden with a metal staircase that leads down to it, so your pup will be safe to roam freely in the garden.

About: I have owned dogs throughout my teenage and adult years. I am now too busy with work to be owning one but sorely miss the furry company. I am experienced with dogs of all ages having owned dogs from puppy stage till end of life. I understand the nuances needed in the handling and also have owned dogs that needed to stick to strict medication plans. I’m happy to discuss this further in person and am open minded to your dog’s individual needs. I am mobile and love taking dogs to the beach. Cat owners: Unfortunately I am unable to provide the same in-depth level of care for your furry friends as I have developed an allergy in my adult years. I am available for feedings and short time care only in emergencies. Please contact me only if this is the case. I work from home and that can also include your house if your furry friend needs my attention for multiple days on end. I schedule most of my day myself so am quite open to drop by your house to let your dog out, go for walks or for feeding times. I’m happy to discuss further. This depends on your individual needs. I can be available for walks, play dates or overnights. I prefer you to tell me what you are comfortable with. Do you like your dog on the lead only? Do you prefer to stick to certain walking routes or do you give me the freedom to build a foundation of trust with you and your dog to take him/her on adventures. Let’s discuss!
About: I’ve always been passionate about animals and have experience caring for pets with different personalities and needs. Friends and family trust me to provide reliable, patient care including feeding, walks, playtime and companionship. I’m especially calm and attentive, which helps nervous or sensitive pets feel relaxed. I believe every animal deserves kindness, consistency and genuine care. I currently work from home 4 days a week, which gives me good flexibility to provide attentive and consistent care. I’m available for walks and drop-ins throughout the week, with extra availability on evenings and weekends. I always make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime and a calm, structured routine so they feel safe and settled while you’re away. I focus on creating a calm, safe and predictable environment for every pet. I follow owners’ routines closely, including feeding schedules, exercise needs and any medication instructions. I take time to understand each pet’s personality so shy or anxious animals feel comfortable. I’m very attentive on walks, avoid unsafe situations, and always prioritise your pet’s wellbeing, comfort and security.
About: I’ve always had a genuine love for dogs. Whilst I was at university, I began dog walking as a hobby — helping my neighbours care for their dogs during the day while also giving myself a reason to get outdoors and do something that truly made me happy. What started as a small pastime quickly became something I looked forward to every day. Since then, my love for dogs has only grown, and I’m now the proud owner of a cockapoo called Peggy. She’s incredibly friendly, loves meeting new furry friends, and is always happiest when she’s surrounded by other dogs. I currently work remotely, which means I have plenty of flexibility and time to give your pups the attention, play, and exercise they deserve. Having a dog of my own means I’m always ready for an adventurous walk, rain or shine! I’m also available for house sitting during the week or at weekends, and I’m happy to work around your needs to make sure your dog feels comfortable and well cared for. With plenty of experience caring for dogs in their own homes, I’m more than happy to stick closely to your dog’s usual routine to keep them calm, comfortable, and settled. If your pup enjoys playing and socialising, they’ll have a wonderful time spending the day with my friendly cockapoo, Peggy — she loves the company of other dogs! Above all, I’m always happy to follow your lead and care for your pet in the way that suits them best.
About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs from elderly rescue dogs to lockdown puppies. I'll be taking care of your dog with my husband who has had two dogs in his family home. We're obviously both dog enthusiasts. We work from Monday to Friday and take a lunch walk every day. Our weekends are usually spent enjoying the outdoors. There's plenty of room in our home and hearts for dogs. We have done house and dog sitting full time for over a year and are happy to share testimonials of house owners. Regarding puppies, we have a pen that we are happy to use in case you want us to. We're also happy to have the dog sleeping in our bed room to be sure they are feeling safe and looked after.

About: I have a Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Diploma - CPD certified - I am insured and I have a DBS check. I take caring for pets very seriously and provide them with safety, care and affection while you're away. I am a uni student, so I have plenty of time to look after your pets outside of my studies. I am quite flexible. I am able to look after pets on some weekdays, evenings and weekends, and I am available full-time outside of term time. Due to my flat's pet restrictions, I only provide pet care services in my clients' homes, such as house sitting and home visits. This also helps your pets feel more at ease as they remain in a familiar environment while you are away.
“Olivia is such a sweetie!! We needed a last min dog walker and she was able to help us out! She sent us lots of updates throughout, it was amazing :) Our Roly Poly was so happy, and we will definitely be booking Olivia again in the future!”

About: 7 years experience ✅️ Hi, my name is Victoria. I am a pet sitter in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, close to the beach and surrounded by lots of beautiful parks and woods. From a young age, I have always loved animals of all kinds (sometimes more than humans🤭!). Growing up, we had cats, rabbits and hamsters at home, so animals have always been a big part of my life they bring me so much peace and happiness. When I got married, my husband and I welcomed a Beagle cross into our family from a puppy. We sadly had to rehome him when he was seven years old, which was a very difficult and heart breaking decision for us. As a family, we have always loved animals, and my son was especially gentle and caring with our dog, knowing when to play with him and when to give him his own space. I love exploring different places on my walks, whether that's the woods, the beach or beautiful country parks, so having a furry friend to enjoy these adventures with would be wonderful company. I’m a caring, reliable and genuinely animal-loving person, and I will always treat your pets as if they were my own. I love to give them lots of fuss, cuddles and attention, while also respecting their individual personalities and giving them space when they need it. I can offer flexible and personalised pet-sitting services to suit you and your pets, and I’m also happy to help with things such as flea and worming treatments if needed. For your peace of mind i am DBS CHECKED/FULLY INSURED/CPR & FIRST AID TRAINED. If you're looking for a pet sitter who genuinely loves animals and will give your pets plenty of love, care and attention, then feel free to get in touch - I’d love to hear from you! — I’d be very happy to chat about your pets and how I can help! Thank you, Victoria 🐾 I’m currently a stay-at-home mum, so I have lots of time, love and attention to give to an animal who needs it. I also drive and have an estate car with a large boot, so there’s plenty of room for dogs to travel safely and comfortably. I’m also available for drop-in pet visits, whether your pet needs feeding, some playtime, company, cuddles or just a little bit of attention while you’re out. Since rehoming our dog, I’ve really missed having a furry friend to take on walks, discovering new places to explore together and giving them all the love, care and attention they deserve. When we had our dog, we would go out every day and find somewhere new to explore, whether that was the beach, woods or country parks. He absolutely loved going on adventures, meeting other dogs and having lots of exciting new smells to investigate! I would really love the opportunity to share those walks and adventures with another dog and give them the same love and happiness that I gave to our own. 🐾❤️ We live in a spacious two-bedroom flat with access to a communal garden area. Pets are welcome on the beds and sofas — our dog used to sleep in bed with us, so we’re more than happy for your dog to do the same if they’re comfortable. I’m happy to administer flea and worming treatments if needed. We don’t currently have a crate, as we got rid of ours because our dog found it distressing, but I’m more than happy to use your crate if your dog is happy and comfortable being crated. Our dog suffered from severe separation anxiety, so I completely understand how difficult and stressful this can be for both dogs and their owners. I was unable to leave him alone, and he came everywhere with us. If your dog experiences separation anxiety, please be assured that I will not leave them alone and will do everything I can to make them feel safe, settled and comfortable. I can also provide home visits, including check-ins, walks, playtime and feeding, if that’s what your pet needs. 🐾
