House Sitting in Southend-on-Sea

About: I am a massive animal lover and have grown up with pets in the house since the age of 7. As a teenager I spent 3 years pet sitting and walking a family friends dog. I now currently walk my partners two lovely dogs weekly. Throughout my childhood my family have adopted cats in need and I donate to animal welfare charities monthly. I currently work 9-5, some days from home and some in London. My preferred days during the week for walking would be Tuesdays & Fridays but depending on my schedule I can be flexible to other weekdays as long as it’s after 5pm. Weekends I am available all day Saturday & Sunday morning. For dog sitting, I would be happy to have a dog over following a similar schedule to my walking availability, but can be flexible on the days I work from home. I would care for each dog as if they were my own, before walks I would make sure I fully understand their routine and temperament. I will always use a lead or harness and only take dogs to appropriate places and walking routes which are safe for them. I love walking and know many routes around the Southend area, I will always be prepared with water and treats! I currently live alone in a flat with a fully fenced garden and no other pets, making it a safe environment for a dog to stay in.

About: I’ve always had a genuine love for dogs. Whilst I was at university, I began dog walking as a hobby — helping my neighbours care for their dogs during the day while also giving myself a reason to get outdoors and do something that truly made me happy. What started as a small pastime quickly became something I looked forward to every day. Since then, my love for dogs has only grown, and I’m now the proud owner of a cockapoo called Peggy. She’s incredibly friendly, loves meeting new furry friends, and is always happiest when she’s surrounded by other dogs. Having a dog of my own means I’m always ready for an adventurous walk, rain or shine! With plenty of experience caring for dogs in their own homes, I’m more than happy to stick closely to your dog’s usual routine to keep them calm, comfortable, and settled. If your pup enjoys playing and socialising, they’ll have a wonderful time spending the day with my friendly cockapoo, Peggy — she loves the company of other dogs! Above all, I’m always happy to follow your lead and care for your pet in the way that suits them best.

About: I’ve had animals all through my life. I have looked after dogs, cats, fish, birds, Guinea pigs, chickens, goats, snakes, tortoises. I love animals and my life experience with animals is vast. I am a caring person to animals. I’m currently a respite foster carer and have been for years. I am DBS advanced checked because of looking after children. I can mostly work during the week but can consider weekends, so I’m flexible. I have a large walled garden. I have a tortoise that lives out during summer. I have looked after Neighbors and friends pets whether it’s a holiday or a weekend away. I am happy to visit homes to offer care and potty breaks. If I were asked to care in the owners home I would ask what was expected and follow this so that everything is safe and fine. I would get pet care guidance off owners.

About: I’ve taken care of pets of every kind since I was 10. Hamsters, Gerbils, Guinea Pigs, Chickens, Dogs, Cats and Goldfish. I've never had any problems with my pets or anyone else's. I work from home, so I'm available 24/7 to look after your pets. Depending on the pets needs, they can either laze in front of the telly or go out for walks 3 or 4 times a day Loads of walks. Great Garden. Love having animals in the house. Your pets will be looked after and pampered. Please let me know of any behavioural issues so I know how to deal with this. About: I've taken care of my family member's dogs by feeding them and giving them water I also walk them and volunteer at a Doggy Daycare. It works well in my life as I'm currently looking for work so I can fit it in to my current daily and weekly routine I have a fenced yard and gate I also have a vet on my road if needed and have dog toys to keep them entertained

About: I have been around pets and animals since I was little. Growing up I understood that they was my passion.I have been on Rover for a while, but this is my new personal profile. I have experience with any type of animals, from dogs and cats to reptiles, birds and even rabbits. Very comfortable to administrate medication and loads of experience with senior dogs and cat and special needs. I am fully concentrated on pet care, so no pets get left unattended. Plenty of walks and playing all day inside or outside in the garden. I live in a flat which is where I can accommodate cats securely without any escapes. Medium size garden fully secured with a little house fully equipped with all comforts.

About: When I was 16 I worked in a dog groomers, giving dogs baths and drying them. Then I started looking after my auntie’s dog overnight and walked him when they were away. 2 years ago I got my puppy Cooper. We have done lots of training, I love taking him out on walks we always try new places!! I am pet first aid trained. I’m currently working part time at a church with children and young people, I work in the mornings so I can do early walks, afternoon or evening as well as drop ins in the afternoon and evening. I am pet first aid training certified and your dog will. Be supervised at all time along the walks and I want your dog to feel comfortable so if I notice any distress we will go walk somewhere else.

About: Hey I’m Rhianne 🙂 I grew up with animals from a very small age we always had family pets from dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and even goats at one point. My parents rescued our last two dogs, that was amazing to give them the best life after being neglected. I have lots of experience taking care of different breeds of dogs and I thoroughly enjoy looking after them and spending time with them, giving them lots of love and attention. I am very adaptable and understand each little fur baby has their own personality. I work from home so I am very flexible through out the day. I have 2x 15 minute breaks and 1 hour lunch so plenty of time to take your pets to the toilet and for walks before, during my lunch or after work. I go to the gym regularly so pets that are OK to be left for a couple of hours on their own is more suitable for me. I will send plenty of updates with photos and messages to assure you that your fur babies are safe and being well cared for. I am very attentive and ensure a high standard of care when caring for pets. I will follow all feeding, walking routines given to me and give your fur babies lots of cuddles and love. If there are specific routines with feeding, walking or requirements for pets these can be given to me to follow.

About: Hi we are Natalie & Matt we've had dogs since we were born and as a teenager Natalie was the go-to dog walker and cat sitter in the neighbourhood. We can't currently commit to getting our own dog so would love to look after yours while you're on holiday! We are currently both working from home full time, we like starting and finishing our days with a walk and as Natalie can schedule her own meetings she can work around cuddle and toilet breaks. We are available for boarding, doggy day care and walks- scheduled around meetings! We have a secure fenced garden, we can crate your dog if this is what you do at home and if they are used to being allowed on furniture then this is fine with us too- whatever helps them settle in and feel at home.

Secured garden , fenced , with a fully equipped shed and heating for the cold months.
