I’ve been looking after pets for around 15 years through private clients and recommendations, and I’m now looking to take on more pet-care clients and spend more of my time doing the work I really enjoy - being around animals. I live on my own, so when I’m caring for your pet or pets, they’ll have my full attention, with no other household members involved in their care. I originally got to know several of my pet-care clients through cleaning for them, and from there I also started looking after their pets, walking their dogs and house sitting while they were away. I’ve cared for both cats and dogs and understand how important it is to follow each animal’s individual routine. I’m dependable, caring and very attentive to instructions. I’m also very observant and naturally safety-conscious, particularly when walking dogs - I’m always aware of traffic, other dogs, what’s around us and anything on the ground they might try to eat or get into. I treat people’s homes and pets as if they were my own and always make sure their home is left clean, tidy and secure. I’m very security-conscious too - I’m the person who checks the door is locked and then checks it again just to make absolutely sure! I offer dog walking, puppy sitting, house sitting, cat sitting and drop-in visits for both cats and dogs, including feeding, toilet breaks, medication where required, playtime and plenty of fuss. I’m also happy to simply keep an animal company and give them the kind of attention they’re used to at home. I can also do home check-in visits if you’re away, even if your pets are with you, for things like checking everything is secure, picking up post, opening or closing curtains, turning lights on or off, or simply giving you peace of mind that someone has checked on the property. My availability can vary, so please feel free to message me with the dates and care you need, even if you’re not sure whether I’ll be available. I’m flexible and can often accommodate last-minute bookings. If you already have someone you normally use but they’re unavailable, I’m also very happy to provide occasional or last-minute cover. I don’t charge cancellation fees, even for last-minute changes. Plans change, and I’d rather make things as easy as possible for owners. I’m very flexible and can usually fit pet care around my day, including morning, daytime and evening visits. I can often accommodate last-minute bookings too and I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine. I’m very respectful of people’s homes and always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I make sure pets are safe and settled, doors and windows are secure, keys are kept safe, and the home is left clean, tidy and secure. I’m also very happy to follow feeding, medication, exercise and other routines as requested.

About: We’re an Essex-based couple, huge animal lovers and proud owners of a 65kg Great Dane named Dobey, so big and boisterous dogs are nothing new to us! Most walks and drop-ins are done together, giving us two sets of eyes, especially with larger or reactive dogs. We have experience working with trainers and behaviourists and are happy to follow any routines or training you have in place. We also have two cats and experience caring for senior cats and dogs, including medication needs. We always arrange a meet and greet first so we can get to know you and your pet properly 🐾 We have a really flexible schedule, and there’s almost always someone at home. This means we’re very flexible with drop-ins and walks and can easily work around your pet’s usual routine. We always make sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own home and stick closely to their usual routine. We also have lots of experience with reactive dogs and have worked closely with behaviourists and trainers, so we’re confident following any routines or training you already have in place. We’re also happy to offer suggestions where helpful, while always following what works best for you and your dog.

We have our own little Westie dog, Bobby, who has been neutered and enjoys the company of other dogs; he is very laid back and lovely. We are at home all the time so your dog will never be on their own as we work from home. We have beautiful fields just a walk around the corner - perfect for daily walks. We have a nice garden secluded and secure with no side access so very safe. We also have a small dog flap for dogs who are used to using them and a stair gate so they don't have to go up and down the stairs. We can give a lovely warm caring home for your dog or dogs for up to 2 weeks or just a weekend or a day; Or a daily walk if that is all you need; we will treat them like royalty like we do our own !! If you want to keep your pet at home we will quite gladly look after your pet and sit with them for as long as you would like take them for walks they will be treated like our own with love and care. I’m semi retired and work the odd day but from home - so I am always here and your dog or dogs will never be left on their own. I usually just look after your dog with no other dogs unlike others who have many dogs all at once - I like giving them a real home from home set up and I love all dogs as I do my own. Our garden is very secure as there is no side access and a high fence. I have a stair gate to stop the fur babies from running up and down stairs for safety. All the dogs I’ve looked after run in to our house when they visit as they have happy memories of staying here and I pride myself in this. We have a lovely field just around the corner we walk to every day so your dog will have a lovely stay and lovely walks. I can visit your home if you prefer your fur baby to stay at home but this will have to be within a 5 mile radius of our home so I can make regular visits easily.

About: Cared for my gorgeous cockapoo from a puppy until she sadly passed last year at 16. I was responsible for all her needs and medication as she got older. I often looked after my boyfriend’s beagle who was epileptic and unable to be left alone. About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs from elderly rescue dogs to lockdown puppies. I'll be taking care of your dog with my husband who has had two dogs in his family home. We're obviously both dog enthusiasts. We work from Monday to Friday and take a lunch walk every day. Our weekends are usually spent enjoying the outdoors.
