About: I've had dogs since I was 16 years old. My Mum first got a yorkshire terrier at this age! I've just lost my Collie x Dalmatian that I had from a pup, she lived to be 17. I have looked after my families' dogs including a golden retreiver, cockapoo, yorkshire terrier, dog de bordeux, belgian mallionois, american bull mastiff and my own collie x dalmatian. I currently work part-time and have weekends free so I'll have plenty of time to look after and play wuth you fur-babies. I've just lost my dog I had for 17years who was a collie x dalmatian. I have lots of cuddle and love to give! I have a fenced garden which are 6 foot, and a three bedroom house. I have a small park up the road and I am round the corner from Hadleigh Country Park! I have two Adult children and live with them and my husband.

“We were so happy we found Sheila to look after Alfie he was very well looked after and he slept for the whole afternoon and night when we got him back he obviously had a lot of fun and by chance there was another boxer dog there and were told they played constantly together. Would defiantly use Sheila again when I need a sitter and would recommend her.”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud owner of a wonderful 5-year-old Cockapoo, so caring for dogs is a big part of my everyday life. I also have plenty of experience with dogs within my wider family and friends and am very comfortable around different personalities and temperaments. Dogs really are like children to me (and, if I’m honest, I often prefer them to humans!). I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you can trust, so I’ll always treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. That means lots of attention, affection, walks, playtime and, of course, plenty of cuddles. As a dog owner myself, I understand all the little things that matter — sticking to routines, keeping them happy and comfortable, and making sure they feel safe and loved while their owner is away. 🐾 I work from home, which means I’m around throughout the day to give your dog plenty of company, attention and affection. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily fit in regular walks, toilet breaks, playtime and cuddles throughout the day. Having my own dog means that walks and doggy routines are already a natural part of my day. I love having four-legged company while I work, and your dog will be treated like part of the family rather than simply being looked after. 🐾 Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my priority. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to know that your dog is in safe and caring hands. I work from home, so dogs in my care will have plenty of supervision and company throughout the day. I’ll always follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding times, walks, toilet breaks and any specific instructions you provide. I have a fenced garden for the dogs to enjoy. I’m very attentive to each dog’s individual personality and needs and will make sure they have a comfortable, relaxed environment with lots of affection and attention. I’ll treat your dog just as I would want someone to treat my own — like one of the family. 🐾
“Donna and her husband were amazing. We came round to meet them first and they have everything set up for a dog to feel at home. Our puppy was loving life and was so excited to go back and stay. They’ve got a big garden for the dogs to run around in sent us videos of how she was getting on which was lovely. I’m so glad we found them and now wouldn’t think twice about using them again.”

“Rebecca’s home was welcoming, my Dog was thrilled to be there and has a lovely space for running and a long garden, Rebecca was very friendly, kind and treated my dog like she was her own, very happy to keep to a schedule, great communication, was sending me pup dates which put my mind at ease. Honestly so happy, & would recommend to anyone, and will definitely use again”

“Catriona was great, lots of lovely updates and great communication which made the whole process really easy from start to finish. Bronson was very comfortable and happy in her care. Can home a happy tired pooch. Her home is clean, tidy and very dog friendly. Would definitely use Catriona in the future.”

“Sammy was Ultra reliable Ultra responsive and a lifesaver frankly. It was a proper last-minute.com because I completely forgot before my holiday to board my dog in an organised way. Thankfully Sammy came to the rescue. Highly recommended. James.”

“Thank you for easing Rufus into a night away from home! This was a new one for us but I could trust he was being taken care of and that really made the experience less worrisome :)”

“Harry did a great job looking after Teddy. He sent us daily updates keeping us informed of how he was getting on. When I picked up Teddy you could tell he was very comfortable in his adopted home.”

“I couldn’t have wished for a nicer couple to care for our Princess. They were kind, considerate and most caring for our little girl. We felt as ease as we were sent beautiful pictures and messages regarding how Princess was doing. Thank you so much Ria and Greg as you helped us to enjoy our little break ?”

“Sandra and Mike are wonderful sitters and they treated our working cocker Thandi like royalty. She had plenty of long country walks and was really well looked after throughout her stay. Their home is clean and secure with a big garden for Thandi to play in. Highly recommended ;-)”

“Juliet is amazing and our dog Logan had a lovely stay with her! From when we first did our ‘meet and greet’ Juliet and her family were welcoming and asking questions which showed they had a genuine love for dogs and taking care of them. Their home is lovely and Logan especially loved the garden to run around in! We got plenty of updates from Juliet, photos and videos of all the fun things Logan had been up to whilst he stayed with them and he looked so comfortable and settled. We will definitely be using Juliet again and would recommend her to anyone that asks 😊”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with pets of my own, and I genuinely treat every animal like family. I have hands-on experience caring for puppies, kittens, senior pets, and animals with different personalities and needs, so I understand that every pet deserves patient, personalized care. I’m comfortable with energetic young pets who need play, routine, and attention, as well as older pets who may need a calmer environment, extra patience, or gentle care. I love creating a cozy, safe space where pets feel comfortable, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. About: I am an experienced qualified veterinary nurse of 10+ years working locally. I currently cat sit for a couple veterinarians who love their cats dearly and for close family. I am very experienced in caring for cats, I’ve had cats since I was young and never not been without one since! Being a veterinary nurse means I also have medical knowledge and skills, and I know a lot about feline behaviour so I’m good at reading most cats and the best way to approach them if they are shy so I am capable of providing exceptional care to cats, dogs and small furries. I can medicate, and provide a nail clipping service if needed (if your animal is well behaved enough for me to do on my own!) I also used to own a horse, to which I dedicated my time and care to for 15 years of my life so this is also potentially another animal I can provide care for. I currently have two rescue cats named Otto and Eevee. I also used to own a horse and have owned rabbits in the past so have very good experience and knowledge in caring for them too.

“Maria is absolutely amazing. My cat was so well looked after. She checked rooms and cleared up any mess Kia had made. She went above and beyond. Maria is a complete superstar. 100/100. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I have always loved dogs and wanted my own one for many years. I finally adopted a tiny little pup in 2018. I’d like to use Rover to help others with small dog care as I know you want to leave your dog with someone who cares as much about them as you do. I'm fairly easy going and patient. I often take care of my friends dogs when they go away so have experience taking care of 2-3 small dogs at a time, though my preference would be just to have one other during the day when I’m working from home and at weekends. Happy to walk any size dog as long as they are good walking on a lead. Will only care for small dogs in my own home as I have a small dog. I work from home 4 days a week and can be available short notice for local walks in Leigh On Sea. Ideally walks before 9am, around lunchtime and after 6pm weekdays. Weekends available on an adhoc basis I have a small secure fenced garden with a metal staircase that leads down to it, so your pup will be safe to roam freely in the garden.
“Alyce is so understanding and helped with a last minute booking, absolutely life saver!! Kept me feeling at ease knowing that Bronson was okay! She really understands Bronson and his way of showing love Thank you so much for everything :)”

About: I absolutely love dogs! We have had dogs in our lives for many years. We now have a Jack Russell terrier who is the friendliest dog ever! She loves having her furry friends around to play bless her and she is looking forward to meeting new friends! We have a fairly large garden for your dog to play in when back from walkies. I love to take my dog on walks to the beach or to the large fields, both if which are close to our house. I am a stay at home mum so have plenty of time to give fuss and attention to your dog (just as I do with my attention needy pooch!) We usually have a longer walk in the morning to the beach and in the afternoon go for one or two shorter 20/30 minute strolls but I can adjust to the specific needs of your dog. I have a securely fenced garden and when we're not on a walk, my pooch spends most of the time wandering in and out of the house into the garden or chilling and napping on the sofa. She is looking forward to a furry friend joining her!

“Lorna recently looked after our Jack Russell, Toby, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she gave him. From the moment we met her, she was warm, friendly, and clearly experienced with dogs. She took the time to get to know Toby and made sure he felt comfortable and settled. It was obvious throughout that she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Toby came home happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lorna to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Toby – we’ll definitely be booking with you again!”

“Looked after our dog, Sonny, for the day! They were amazing, He settled in no problem! Even ended up having a nap with Elicia and she was great at messaging back when we checked in! Definitely would use again!”

About: Having grown up with dogs my whole life, and getting my own a few years ago, i know how uncomfortable it can be leaving them behind. No need to worry, i can ensure you you dog wont be getting bored or stressed with my Beagle, Molly around them. I currently work full time with a very flexible office/work from home schedule. I cant change my days around frequently but usually work from home on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I can work from home the entire week if needed for longer term stays. Dogs will be at least 45 minute walk per day, unless you request otherwise. My dog stays on a long line lead as her Beagle nose stops her ears working frequently. It is your preference if you want your on or off lead when walking. My usual routine is feed in the morning and evening. Happy to continue any routine you already have in place to ensure your pets are made to feel as comfortable as possible.
“I’m so happy with Ashley’s care, my dog absolutely loves him and couldn’t contain his excitement when we pulled up to Ashley’s house for more doggy day care. Would recommend to everyone! X”

“The best review I can leave is how much Bertie loves being out with Kathy. He can be quite nervous on lead and that makes him a little reactive, but with Kathy he has moved forward leaps and bounds, even happy to walk with her dog. We did originally just book Kathy for a short term but now Bertie goes out with her regularly. Couldn’t be happier ☺️”

“Highly recommended and professional, came to meet Maggie the day before and pick up the key, and took her for a nice walk the next day (despite the less than ideal weather)”

Before your dog stays with me, I’ll take the time to understand their usual routine, personality, feeding requirements, exercise needs, and any special instructions so I can make them feel safe and settled. My home is a clean and welcoming space where dogs can relax, play, and receive plenty of attention and companionship. I’ll always prioritise their safety and wellbeing, follow your care instructions carefully, and keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: Ever since I can remember I've always been around dogs. From German shepards, rottweilers to pomeranians and sausage dogs. I currently look after a few dogs Tuesday to Friday 7am-5pm but can do different days a times if needed and i am happy to board anyday of the week. I have a fenced garden that the dogs can enjoy anytime of the day and have installed baby gates downstairs to prevent them escaping through the front door

“Sheila walked Benji while we were on holiday. We met in advance and introduced Benji. Sheila walked Benji on time and gave him a decent length walk. Benji loved it! Sheila was a great communicator and kept in touch with messages and photos. Thanks Sheila!”

I looked forward to catering to the needs of all pets I meet and making sure they are safe, loved and have fun. I am a student who loves animas and has previously worked in dog walking and am looking to add some pet loving time into my schedule. I am well accustomed to walking and sitting for dogs with over four years experience. No matter the breed or size. I am very flexible wether this is an energy filled dogs looking for a two hour walk or a slow paced dog who just wants some company and comfort.
About: I’ve always had a genuine love for dogs. Whilst I was at university, I began dog walking as a hobby — helping my neighbours care for their dogs during the day while also giving myself a reason to get outdoors and do something that truly made me happy. What started as a small pastime quickly became something I looked forward to every day. Since then, my love for dogs has only grown, and I’m now the proud owner of a cockapoo called Peggy. She’s incredibly friendly, loves meeting new furry friends, and is always happiest when she’s surrounded by other dogs. I currently work remotely, which means I have plenty of flexibility and time to give your pups the attention, play, and exercise they deserve. Having a dog of my own means I’m always ready for an adventurous walk, rain or shine! I’m also available for house sitting during the week or at weekends, and I’m happy to work around your needs to make sure your dog feels comfortable and well cared for. With plenty of experience caring for dogs in their own homes, I’m more than happy to stick closely to your dog’s usual routine to keep them calm, comfortable, and settled. If your pup enjoys playing and socialising, they’ll have a wonderful time spending the day with my friendly cockapoo, Peggy — she loves the company of other dogs! Above all, I’m always happy to follow your lead and care for your pet in the way that suits them best.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with dogs, cats and tortoises of my own, and I genuinely treat every animal like family. I have hands on experience caring for puppies, kittens, senior pets, and animals with different personalities and needs, so I understand that every pet deserves patient, personalised care. I’m comfortable with energetic young pets who need play, routine, and attention, as well as older pets who may need a calmer environment, extra patience, or gentle care. I love creating a cozy, safe space where pets feel comfortable, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. What sets me apart is the amount of genuine care and attention I give each pet, whether that’s cuddles on the sofa, keeping to their usual routine, regular updates for owners, or making sure they feel secure and happy when you are away. I currently work a flexible 9–5 schedule, which allows me to fit pet care comfortably into my daily routine with time for walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, and lots of attention before and after work. My evenings and weekends are very open, so I’m able to give pets plenty of quality time, care, and companionship. Pet sitting is something I’m genuinely passionate about, and I’m working toward making it my full-time career. Because of that, I put a lot of care and dedication into every pet I look after and always aim to create a calm, cozy, and loving environment where they feel completely at home. I care for every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I know being apart from their family can be stressful for some pets, so I do my best to keep their usual routine consistent, including feeding times, walks, playtime, cuddles, and any special care they’re used to. I pay close attention to their personality and needs, from energetic puppies and kittens who need stimulation and patience to senior pets who may need a gentler pace and extra comfort. I also believe communication is really important, so I’m always happy to send regular updates and photos to give owners peace of mind while they’re away.

Would defiantly use Sheila again when I need a sitter and would recommend her.”

“Donna and her husband were amazing. We came round to meet them first and they have everything set up for a dog to feel at home. Our puppy was loving life and was so excited to go back and stay. About: I’ve always had pets in my family home and we currently have 2 dogue de bordeaux’s! All of the dogs we have owned have lived with us until they passed, meaning I have experience with puppies through to seniors! As well as this, I have always had large dog breeds, the biggest being 2 Newfoundlands, so I am able to cope with many challenges our pets can throw our way. I’m a university student currently at home for the summer which makes me perfect for caring for your pets! I absolutely love getting out and about so I’d love to take your dog for a lovely new walk! I have a fenced in back garden and two loving female French Mastiffs, they’re giant teddy bears with no prior issues with other animals! If you would prefer for me to sit inside your home, I will be happy to leave my two at home as my partner will be there, do not feel like they are necessary as well! :)
“Imogen was great looking after Arlo! So lovely and I felt so comfortable leaving him. He settled well and I was provided a cute update with him making himself at home, could tell he was enjoying himself all snuggled up! Both me and Arlo definitely recommend 😊 he will be looking forward to his next visit! Thank you.”

“Thanks Dean, you’ve done an amazing job. You took really good care of Moira when she needed some extra TLC. She was looking so good when we picked her up, you really went above and beyond to keep her happy and comfortable.”

“This was only the second time Bertie has been with a dog sitter. He is only just 9 months old and in general very well behaved. However, for whatever reason he really does play hard to get, when you try to put his harness on - he loves his walks so , am not sure why he is like this! I know Helen found him difficult too in this respect (anyone would!) , but she thinks he will outgrow this as he gets older. I think he had a fantastic time with Helen. He obviously enjoyed all the playing and the walks - Helen sent me a lovely film of him in the woods - one of his favourite places to go ! I would not hesitate to contact Helen in the future , should we need dog care again. Thank you very much.”

“Ashley recently looked after our Sprocker Spaniel, Hugo. It was the first time we have left him with anyone other than close family so we were a little apprehensive. Ashley was quick to respond to any communication and after the meet and greet we could see Hugo was very comfortable with him. While we were away, Ashley sent us daily updates and photos and we were able to relax knowing Hugo was happy and being well cared for.”

About: I take the time to get to know each dog as an individual. Every dog has their own personality, routine, likes and dislikes, so I’ll always follow the routine you’re used to at home wherever possible. Whether your dog wants long walks and lots of play, or prefers a quiet afternoon on the sofa getting cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable and happy. I also understand how difficult it can be leaving your pet with someone else. That’s why I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay, so you can relax knowing your fur baby is having a lovely time. 🥰 For me, pet sitting isn’t just a job I want your dog to be genuinely excited to come back and see me! 🐶You won’t just be booking a dog sitter you’ll be choosing someone who genuinely cares about making your dog feel safe, loved and spoiled while you’re away. 🫶 Please note I can also look after your dog on a 1-1 basis without any dogs around! Just make sure you request this when you message me :) I grew up in a house full of dogs and puppies! I now work from home, which means I have a very flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Unlike someone who works away from home for hours, I’m here throughout the day, so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods. I can fit walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles and toilet breaks around my working day, and I’m able to give them lots of company and attention throughout the day. Essentially, when your pet stays with me, my home becomes their home too 💕 I live in a large, spacious home with a huge garden and acres of private land, giving dogs plenty of room to explore, play and relax. I also have beautiful woodland just a few seconds’ walk from our home, which is perfect for lovely walks and plenty of new smells to explore🐾🌳 I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable and settled in my home, while keeping their individual routines, needs and personalities in mind. I’ll follow your instructions carefully around feeding, walks, medication, treats and bedtime routines, so your pet’s stay feels as familiar as possible.
“Daniel was very accommodating and our staffy was well looked after. Plenty of update photos and videos. Great communication before and during her stay. Regular walks and she seemed very comfortable and happy to be there. Would definitely recommend.”

“What a lovely experience! Leaving my dog, Moe,is always tough, but Ayush made it completely stress-free. Their home is safe, welcoming, and perfect for dogs. Moe settled in immediately, got plenty of exercise and was treated like family. I loved receiving the regular photo updates and could tell my dog was having a blast. The pick-up and drop-off process was completely seamless. Will definitely use Ayush boarding service again! It’s a huge relief finding a boarder I can trust completely. Highly recommend!"”

“Max had a fab time at Rebecca’s. He was taken out for a walk and a swim and I got lots of regular updates. Would definitely book in again and highly recommend Rebecca for looking after your dog. A real animal lover!”
