About: We have been around dogs our whole lives and have been helping care for family, friends' and neighbours' pets. We understand the importance of keeping pets happy, safe and comfortable while their owners are away. Whether it's feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, we treat every dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. Elicia works from home during the day, while Jack works during the day and is home in the evenings, meaning there is usually someone available to provide care, attention and companionship. We already enjoy taking two walks each day, so regular exercise and outdoor time are part of our routine. Your dog would be treated as part of the family, with plenty of opportunities for walks, playtime, affection and relaxation throughout the day. We are committed to maintaining your pet's usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and settled while in our care. We provide a safe, caring and comfortable environment for every dog in our care. We live in a flat with access to a secure garden, giving dogs space to relax and enjoy outdoor time throughout the day. Dogs staying with us will receive at least two walks a day, alongside plenty of attention, playtime and companionship. We are happy to accommodate crate-trained dogs and will follow their normal routine to help them feel settled and secure. We will cater to your dog's feeding schedule and any specific care requirements, ensuring their needs are met while they are with us. Regular toilet breaks are provided throughout the day, and we ask that dogs are house-trained. We will send regular updates for what your doggy is up to!
“We knew the boys were in good hands when at the meet and greet Mowgli found a box of new dog toys to play with. The boys have been so well looked after and enjoyed their chasing round the garden.”

“Sandra has been absolutely wonderful from day one. She was so friendly and accessible right from the initial enquiry, which instantly put me at ease. Throughout Miley’s stay, she kept me updated with regular messages and photos, and that made such a difference - I always felt reassured knowing how happy and settled my dog was. It’s clear that Sandra genuinely cares, and the level of communication and attention she gives is exceptional. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommended.”

“Imogen was great looking after Arlo! So lovely and I felt so comfortable leaving him. He settled well and I was provided a cute update with him making himself at home, could tell he was enjoying himself all snuggled up! Both me and Arlo definitely recommend 😊 he will be looking forward to his next visit! Thank you.”

“Catriona was great, lots of lovely updates and great communication which made the whole process really easy from start to finish. Bronson was very comfortable and happy in her care. Can home a happy tired pooch. Her home is clean, tidy and very dog friendly. Would definitely use Catriona in the future.”

“Donna looked after our dog Charlie while we were on holiday, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. From the moment I met her and her husband , it was clear how caring, professional, and genuinely passionate they both are about animals. Charlie absolutely adored both Donna and her husband, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Donna kept us regularly updated with messages and photos, which meant so much and allowed us to fully relax knowing he was happy, safe, and well cared for. It was obvious he wasn’t just being “looked after” — he was being loved and treated like part of her family. When we returned, Charlie was calm, content, and clearly had a wonderful time. Donna went above and beyond in every way, and we are so grateful for the exceptional care she gave him. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Donna to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and reliable to care for their pet. She is absolutely fantastic, and we will definitely be booking her again.”

I’ll treat your cats with the same love and care that I give my own.

About: I have always loved dogs and wanted my own one for many years. I finally adopted a tiny little pup in 2018. I’d like to use Rover to help others with small dog care as I know you want to leave your dog with someone who cares as much about them as you do. I'm fairly easy going and patient. I often take care of my friends dogs when they go away so have experience taking care of 2-3 small dogs at a time, though my preference would be just to have one other during the day when I’m working from home and at weekends. Happy to walk any size dog as long as they are good walking on a lead. Will only care for small dogs in my own home as I have a small dog. I work from home 4 days a week and can be available short notice for local walks in Leigh On Sea. Ideally walks before 9am, around lunchtime and after 6pm weekdays. Weekends available on an adhoc basis I have a small secure fenced garden with a metal staircase that leads down to it, so your pup will be safe to roam freely in the garden.

“The best review I can leave is how much Bertie loves being out with Kathy. He can be quite nervous on lead and that makes him a little reactive, but with Kathy he has moved forward leaps and bounds, even happy to walk with her dog. We did originally just book Kathy for a short term but now Bertie goes out with her regularly. Couldn’t be happier ☺️”

If you’re looking for someone reliable, patient, and genuinely devoted to animals, you can rest easy knowing they’ll be in caring hands with me. It will fit in because I am a stay at home mum and my children are older so it is just me looking after the pets. I have fenced garden and outdoor cattery and locked and I have security cameras over the property. The animals have a large Area to relax and exercise.
About: For the past 3/4 years I’ve taken care of a friends dog and cat whenever they’ve been away on holiday. I’ve also got experience with my own pets including dogs, fish, finches, quails and hamsters. I have a part time job, I tend to work three days a week however my shifts are always different days. I will always check my rota before accepting a job to make sure I’d be spending the correct amount of time with your pets and making sure their needs are met. I love spending time with any pets. I always like to make sure their needs are met and they are happy. I make sure feeding schedules are met and any other requirements are fulfilled.
“Mabel loves her walks with Jo and his partner, she’s always well looked after and can’t wait to see him/them again, I have peace of mind knowing my home and my dog will be very well taken care of. I am disabled and can go into hospital at anytime..knowing I have someone whom I can trust to make sure Mabel’s ok means everything, Jo has become invaluable to me in a short time and has never let me down and goes above and beyond what’s expected of him 😊”

About: I've always been brought up with dogs and cats being a major relationship in my life, I've looked after Chihuahuas to Staffordshire Bull Terriers. I love spending time with animals - I often prefer their presence to people! Just know that if I am lucky enough to look after your furry friends, they will have my undivided love and care! I am available day and night - your pets will be my number one priority whilst you are away, so that is one less worry whilst you're on a flight, cruise or road trip! I am currently a university student who is home over the summer period. I am fully flexible and can be booked at any time! This means that your furry friends will be my top priority as I have no other commitments. I will make sure to follow the feeding schedule (depending on the owner's preferences), make sure your pet has enough stimulation and follow the pet's individual routine. Although you're away, your pet's routine will remain the same.

In my home, I’ve created a pet-friendly space with secure areas where pets can roam freely, yet safely. I ensure all hazards are removed, and I maintain a calm, clean environment with plenty of toys, comfy spots for naps, and safe outdoor access for playtime. I also follow the specific routines and rules set by the pet owner, keeping everything as familiar as possible for your pet. When I care for pets in their own homes, I prioritize sticking to their usual routines to minimize stress. I follow detailed instructions for feeding, exercise, and medication schedules, and I keep their environment secure and comfortable. About: I have grown up with dogs from the age of 6, at 11 my father obtained a farm and i learnt a substantial amount about animal care. From feeding to delivering new animals into the world i have done it all. Dogs and Cats have always had a soft spot in my heart and i am very understanding that they have emotions to. Kittens and Puppies aren't just for Christmas they are for life. I work 3 days a week and have the rest to schedule in so please ask. Flexibility is key. As long as people are honest with me and give me enough time to schedule them in i can work out slots for eveyone. I have my Cat Boo she is a exotic shorthair and i care for her to the fullest she is a very relaxed and happy Cat.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs & absolutely adore them! I’ve dog sat for friends and family members in the past. Care for very old and very lively dogs and all in between! I work from home 2 days a week so can bring my laptop with me to your home on these days. I don’t have too many meetings and have time to care and play with your dog throughout the day. I also have flexible starting and finishing times within reason and an hour for lunch to pay your dog full attention! On the weekends, I’d love to get out more walking and fill the time with caring for some gorgeous pooches! Predominantly offering care at your home. Being a dog mum & caring for various dogs in the past I can follow any instructions given to care at your home. I also have a gorgeous friendly retriever who can come on dog walks where appropriate and keep your dog company!

About: As I grow older (and hopefully wiser!) I find myself constantly wanting to learn more and more about dogs. I’m still finding my feet 🐾 but I know for sure that my purpose is working with dogs and now I’m on a path which has lead me to creating a wonderful outlet for ALL dogs called The Zoom Room Mobile Dog Gym as well as going into dog training and hopefully GRC too! Growing up in this area and welcoming all ages and sizes of your furry friends. I left my job to fulfill my dream of working with animals full time because I am so passionate, so much so I am always learning new skills. I will always do my best to work around dates and times needed. I am transparent about what I do as I value honesty, as a pet owner myself, is all we can ask for with people looking after our babies🥹🐶 I would also like to add I am fully DBS checked and fully insured (separate from ROVER) and first aid trained (humans & dogs) 🥰
About: I’ve taken care of my dogs for over 10 years. I am reliable, caring and have plenty of knowledge and experience with things like walking, feeding, playing, bathing etc. I have also done dog sitting for my sister in law for a puppy and absolutely love it! I currently work Full time, and have my rota in advance so will have plenty of time to play / walk / dog sit / whatever you’d like! I have a fenced off garden and a safe home environment for my dogs so that they are safe and comfortable to roam about freely.

“I couldn’t have wished for a nicer couple to care for our Princess. They were kind, considerate and most caring for our little girl. We felt as ease as we were sent beautiful pictures and messages regarding how Princess was doing. Thank you so much Ria and Greg as you helped us to enjoy our little break ?”

“our first time leaving Apollo, got off to a bit of a rocky start with another dog that was also there taking a dislike to Apollo but Dean handled it very well and Apollo was happy and safe”

About: I’ve always had pets in my family home and we currently have 2 dogue de bordeaux’s! All of the dogs we have owned have lived with us until they passed, meaning I have experience with puppies through to seniors! As well as this, I have always had large dog breeds, the biggest being 2 Newfoundlands, so I am able to cope with many challenges our pets can throw our way. I’m a university student currently at home for the summer which makes me perfect for caring for your pets! I absolutely love getting out and about so I’d love to take your dog for a lovely new walk! I have a fenced in back garden and two loving female French Mastiffs, they’re giant teddy bears with no prior issues with other animals! If you would prefer for me to sit inside your home, I will be happy to leave my two at home as my partner will be there, do not feel like they are necessary as well! :)
“Rebecca is a lovely lady, clearly cares about the dogs she looks after and I had complete faith that Ruby would be well looked after. I’ve already booked Ruby in again! Highly recommend”

“Max had a fab time at Rebecca’s. He was taken out for a walk and a swim and I got lots of regular updates. Would definitely book in again and highly recommend Rebecca for looking after your dog. A real animal lover!”

“My 1st time using the site, and I was a bit nervous. Ashley was very accomodating, and suggested meeting prior to the booking so I could meet him, and I could see how my dog reacted to him. Which put me at ease. Ashley took great care of our puppy, and sent us regular pictures and updates. I was very happy with the service, and wouldn't hesitate to use him again.”

“Catherine was great, we did a meet and greet and our pups were happy to spend time together. It was easy to drop off and pick up and Catherine and pup allowed Maggie the whole sofa while they sat squashed into an armchair - what more could I want for my little princess haha :)”

“Our Cocker Spaniel stayed with Ashleigh for 4 nights. She instantly put us at ease with her great communication and photos of their outings. It was clear from the updates provided that Faber was happy with Ashleigh. We would highly recommend Ashleigh and will definitely be using her again in the future ☺️”

“Thank you so much ! Daniel looked after my two setters for 4 nights and they had a superb time. They were very well looked after as he took them for long walks during the day, gave them treats and once even got an extra pack of food as he was able to look after them til the following morning - which was lucky! Two very happy dogs, thanks again.”

“This was only the second time Bertie has been with a dog sitter. He is only just 9 months old and in general very well behaved. However, for whatever reason he really does play hard to get, when you try to put his harness on - he loves his walks so , am not sure why he is like this! I know Helen found him difficult too in this respect (anyone would!) , but she thinks he will outgrow this as he gets older. I think he had a fantastic time with Helen. He obviously enjoyed all the playing and the walks - Helen sent me a lovely film of him in the woods - one of his favourite places to go ! I would not hesitate to contact Helen in the future , should we need dog care again. Thank you very much.”

“I am so thrilled to have found Helen. Coco settled in so easily and had the best time with her and her family - and of course Boris too. It's such a relief to know Coco was in such good hands. I won't hesitate to use Helen again soon ❤️🐶”
