I am a veterinary student and have lots of experience with a wide variety of animals and knowledge on husbandry and animal care. I am available at weekends and evenings. I am able to care for dogs in my home, at the owner's home and walk them when necessary. I have space for a crate if needed. I have a fenced garden that is secure with a locked gate. I live in a quiet area with plenty of fun places for walks.

The best review I can leave is how much Bertie loves being out with Kathy. He can be quite nervous on lead and that makes him a little reactive, but with Kathy he has moved forward leaps and bounds, even happy to walk with her dog. We did originally just book Kathy for a short term but now Bertie goes out with her regularly. Couldn’t be happier ☺️

About: I’ve looked after animals for as long as I can remember — it’s not just something I do, it’s who I am. I’m at home full-time, which means I can give animals the time, attention, and care they truly deserve. Whether it’s keeping them safe, happy, well-fed, exercised, or simply keeping them company, their wellbeing always comes first. I understand that every animal has its own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable and loved. From quiet cuddles to playtime and daily care, I treat every animal as if they were my own. If you’re looking for someone reliable, patient, and genuinely devoted to animals, you can rest easy knowing they’ll be in caring hands with me. It will fit in because I am a stay at home mum and my children are older so it is just me looking after the pets. I have fenced garden and outdoor cattery and locked and I have security cameras over the property. The animals have a large Area to relax and exercise.

About: As a Fear Free Level 2 Certified veterinary professional, I prioritise creating a calm, positive experience for every pet in my care. I’ve looked after animals of all ages and temperaments, including energetic puppies and senior pets with special needs. I’m confident with administering medications, supporting pets with anxiety, and maintaining consistent routines that make animals feel safe and loved. Throughout my veterinary education, I’ve been actively involved in learning about animal behaviour—attending puppy classes in my spare time during clinical rotations to deepen my understanding and practical skills. My veterinary background, combined with my Fear Free certification and hands-on experience, sets me apart from other sitters. I bring a calm, gentle approach and tailor my care to each pet’s emotional and physical needs. I’m observant, detail-oriented, and genuinely love building trust with animals—whether it’s through play, cuddles, or quiet companionship. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and notes, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and in caring hands. Pet care fits seamlessly into my weekly routine. I’m currently working from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. As a Fear Free Certified veterinary professional, I’m used to structuring my time around animal wellbeing and always make sure each pet gets the time, engagement, and comfort they need. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s usual routine to keep things calm and familiar for them. Whether I’m caring for pets in their own home or mine, their safety and emotional wellbeing are always my top priorities. As a Fear Free Certified veterinary professional, I’m trained to recognise signs of stress and respond in a calm, reassuring way that helps pets feel secure. I take time to build trust through gentle handling, positive reinforcement, and sticking to familiar routines. In a pet owner's home, I’m respectful of the space and follow all instructions closely—whether that’s feeding, medication, walk routines, or specific behavioural cues. I maintain a clean, hazard-free environment and keep pets mentally and physically engaged while also ensuring they get time to rest and feel at ease. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

Courtney took our 40kg Kangal puppy out for a nighttime stroll whilst my wife and I were out at a concert. Seems Sully must like Courtney as apparently he walked really well with his head collar! It gave us peace of mind to get a message from Courtney to say he was lovely and put back to bed. The Rover card is great too, with a cute photo of our boy all dressed and ready for his walk. We've already booked Courtney again!

About: I have always loved dogs and wanted my own one for many years. I finally adopted a tiny little pup in 2018. I’d like to use Rover to help others with small dog care as I know you want to leave your dog with someone who cares as much about them as you do. I'm fairly easy going and patient. I often take care of my friends dogs when they go away so have experience taking care of 2-3 small dogs at a time, though my preference would be just to have one other during the day when I’m working from home and at weekends. Happy to walk any size dog as long as they are good walking on a lead. Will only care for small dogs in my own home as I have a small dog. I work from home 4 days a week and can be available short notice for local walks in Leigh On Sea. Ideally walks before 9am, around lunchtime and after 6pm weekdays. Weekends available on an adhoc basis I have a small secure fenced garden with a metal staircase that leads down to it, so your pup will be safe to roam freely in the garden.
