The best review I can leave is how much Bertie loves being out with Kathy. He can be quite nervous on lead and that makes him a little reactive, but with Kathy he has moved forward leaps and bounds, even happy to walk with her dog. We did originally just book Kathy for a short term but now Bertie goes out with her regularly. Couldn’t be happier ☺️

Sydney last minute looked after Willow for me. She was quick to reply and made feel at easy. She was thoughtful as she hadden meet willow before with asking loads of question to help the process go well and lots of photos too (evening closing my blinds so willow wasn’t in the sun. I will be booking Sydney again. Very pleased!!!!

About: I’ve always had a genuine love for dogs. Whilst I was at university, I began dog walking as a hobby — helping my neighbours care for their dogs during the day while also giving myself a reason to get outdoors and do something that truly made me happy. What started as a small pastime quickly became something I looked forward to every day. Since then, my love for dogs has only grown, and I’m now the proud owner of a cockapoo called Peggy. She’s incredibly friendly, loves meeting new furry friends, and is always happiest when she’s surrounded by other dogs. I currently work remotely, which means I have plenty of flexibility and time to give your pups the attention, play, and exercise they deserve. Having a dog of my own means I’m always ready for an adventurous walk, rain or shine! I’m also available for house sitting during the week or at weekends, and I’m happy to work around your needs to make sure your dog feels comfortable and well cared for. With plenty of experience caring for dogs in their own homes, I’m more than happy to stick closely to your dog’s usual routine to keep them calm, comfortable, and settled. If your pup enjoys playing and socialising, they’ll have a wonderful time spending the day with my friendly cockapoo, Peggy — she loves the company of other dogs! Above all, I’m always happy to follow your lead and care for your pet in the way that suits them best.

I’ve looked after animals of all ages and temperaments, including energetic puppies and senior pets with special needs. I’m confident with administering medications, supporting pets with anxiety, and maintaining consistent routines that make animals feel safe and loved. My veterinary background, combined with my Fear Free certification and hands-on experience, sets me apart from other sitters. I bring a calm, gentle approach and tailor my care to each pet’s emotional and physical needs. I’m observant, detail-oriented, and genuinely love building trust with animals—whether it’s through play, cuddles, or quiet companionship. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and notes, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and in caring hands. Pet care fits seamlessly into my weekly routine. I’m currently working from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s usual routine to keep things calm and familiar for them. In a pet owner's home, I’m respectful of the space and follow all instructions closely—whether that’s feeding, medication, walk routines, or specific behavioural cues. I maintain a clean, hazard-free environment and keep pets mentally and physically engaged while also ensuring they get time to rest and feel at ease. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

About: I’ve looked after animals for as long as I can remember — it’s not just something I do, it’s who I am. I’m at home full-time, which means I can give animals the time, attention, and care they truly deserve. Whether it’s keeping them safe, happy, well-fed, exercised, or simply keeping them company, their wellbeing always comes first. I understand that every animal has its own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable and loved. From quiet cuddles to playtime and daily care, I treat every animal as if they were my own. If you’re looking for someone reliable, patient, and genuinely devoted to animals, you can rest easy knowing they’ll be in caring hands with me. It will fit in because I am a stay at home mum and my children are older so it is just me looking after the pets. I have fenced garden and outdoor cattery and locked and I have security cameras over the property. The animals have a large Area to relax and exercise.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with dogs, cats and tortoises of my own, and I genuinely treat every animal like family. I have hands on experience caring for puppies, kittens, senior pets, and animals with different personalities and needs, so I understand that every pet deserves patient, personalised care. I’m comfortable with energetic young pets who need play, routine, and attention, as well as older pets who may need a calmer environment, extra patience, or gentle care. I love creating a cozy, safe space where pets feel comfortable, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. What sets me apart is the amount of genuine care and attention I give each pet, whether that’s cuddles on the sofa, keeping to their usual routine, regular updates for owners, or making sure they feel secure and happy when you are away. I currently work a flexible 9–5 schedule, which allows me to fit pet care comfortably into my daily routine with time for walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, and lots of attention before and after work. My evenings and weekends are very open, so I’m able to give pets plenty of quality time, care, and companionship. Pet sitting is something I’m genuinely passionate about, and I’m working toward making it my full-time career. Because of that, I put a lot of care and dedication into every pet I look after and always aim to create a calm, cozy, and loving environment where they feel completely at home. I care for every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I know being apart from their family can be stressful for some pets, so I do my best to keep their usual routine consistent, including feeding times, walks, playtime, cuddles, and any special care they’re used to. I pay close attention to their personality and needs, from energetic puppies and kittens who need stimulation and patience to senior pets who may need a gentler pace and extra comfort. I also believe communication is really important, so I’m always happy to send regular updates and photos to give owners peace of mind while they’re away.

About: I have always loved dogs and wanted my own one for many years. I finally adopted a tiny little pup in 2018. I’d like to use Rover to help others with small dog care as I know you want to leave your dog with someone who cares as much about them as you do. I'm fairly easy going and patient. I often take care of my friends dogs when they go away so have experience taking care of 2-3 small dogs at a time, though my preference would be just to have one other during the day when I’m working from home and at weekends. Happy to walk any size dog as long as they are good walking on a lead. Will only care for small dogs in my own home as I have a small dog. I work from home 4 days a week and can be available short notice for local walks in Leigh On Sea. Ideally walks before 9am, around lunchtime and after 6pm weekdays. Weekends available on an adhoc basis I have a small secure fenced garden with a metal staircase that leads down to it, so your pup will be safe to roam freely in the garden.

About: I have lived around Dogs and Cats all my life. I have a very caring nature, for the last 16 years I have lived and worked in Africa working on Conservation Projects., mainly Cheetah. I have experience with dog walking, I love to walk so long walks are no problem for me, house sitting and looking after your wonderful house and making sure it is clean and tidy, happy to water plants indoors and outside. I love looking after cats and giving them the necessary fuss and attention. I have also taken care of fish, rabbits, gerbils, guinea pigs. For housesitting I am happy to travel a distance. I am a non smoker and have my own car. Your house and pets would be looked after in a very caring way, you would not need to worry whilst away from them. I work from home so am very flexible with my time, ensuring I give your pet the greatest care and attention possible. Your pet will feel very welcomed and loved whilst you are away. I do not offer the service of having pets in my home. However, whilst I am in your home I will always check that the pet is safe.
