About: Hi, I’m Michelle. I’m new to Rover, but not new to caring for animals. I’ve been looking after pets for around 15 years through private clients and recommendations, and I’m now looking to take on more pet-care clients and spend more of my time doing the work I really enjoy - being around animals. I live on my own, so when I’m caring for your pet or pets, they’ll have my full attention, with no other household members involved in their care. I originally got to know several of my pet-care clients through cleaning for them, and from there I also started looking after their pets, walking their dogs and house sitting while they were away. I’ve cared for both cats and dogs and understand how important it is to follow each animal’s individual routine. I’m dependable, caring and very attentive to instructions. I’m also very observant and naturally safety-conscious, particularly when walking dogs - I’m always aware of traffic, other dogs, what’s around us and anything on the ground they might try to eat or get into. I treat people’s homes and pets as if they were my own and always make sure their home is left clean, tidy and secure. I’m very security-conscious too - I’m the person who checks the door is locked and then checks it again just to make absolutely sure! I offer dog walking, puppy sitting, house sitting, cat sitting and drop-in visits for both cats and dogs, including feeding, toilet breaks, medication where required, playtime and plenty of fuss. I’m also happy to simply keep an animal company and give them the kind of attention they’re used to at home. I can also do home check-in visits if you’re away, even if your pets are with you, for things like checking everything is secure, picking up post, opening or closing curtains, turning lights on or off, or simply giving you peace of mind that someone has checked on the property. My availability can vary, so please feel free to message me with the dates and care you need, even if you’re not sure whether I’ll be available. I’m flexible and can often accommodate last-minute bookings. If you already have someone you normally use but they’re unavailable, I’m also very happy to provide occasional or last-minute cover. I don’t charge cancellation fees, even for last-minute changes. Plans change, and I’d rather make things as easy as possible for owners. I’m very flexible and can usually fit pet care around my day, including morning, daytime and evening visits. I can often accommodate last-minute bookings too and I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine. I’m very respectful of people’s homes and always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I make sure pets are safe and settled, doors and windows are secure, keys are kept safe, and the home is left clean, tidy and secure. I’m also very happy to follow feeding, medication, exercise and other routines as requested.

About: For the past 3/4 years I’ve taken care of a friends dog and cat whenever they’ve been away on holiday. I’ve also got experience with my own pets including dogs, fish, finches, quails and hamsters. I have a part time job, I tend to work three days a week Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Typically from 8am to 1pm. I will always make sure your pet is cared for nonetheless I love spending time with any pets. I always like to make sure their needs are met and they are happy. I make sure feeding schedules are met and any other requirements are fulfilled.

About: I moved in with my partner from my family home nearly 3 years ago, where I cared for my family dog for over 18 years and continue to do on a regular basis. I now also have two 3 year old dogs of my own, pugs Nellie and Nala! I have cared for a variety of dogs via Rover since January 2024, and also for friends and family’s dogs over the years, of all sizes and ages. I work from home 3/5 days of the working week, with a fair amount of flexibility in my schedule. Because of all of this, I am able to care for your fur babies when I am home in the week. I am available for dog walks or drop-ins for your pets throughout the day in the week. I drive and I am happy to have your pets in the car strapped in with a bed or blanket (or a cage if this is your preference and what they are used to) if required. For walks, my preference is to remain on a long lead regardless of if they have a good recall or not. Please do drop me a message if you would like more details on my experience with dogs, or if you have any questions about how I can cater to your fur baby 😊 I work from home Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and I can be available on weekends with a relatively flexible schedule throughout all of these days. If you would require me to visit your home to care for your dog, it would be great to visit, or have a video call, beforehand so I can familiarise myself with the space and where everything is to care for your pet.

About: I am an experienced qualified veterinary nurse of 10+ years working locally. I cat sit for a a couple veterinarians who love their cats dearly and for family. I am a definite cat mad gal, I have always had a cat in my life. I currently have two rescue cats named Otto and Eevee. ! I also used to own a horse and have owned rabbits in the past so have very good experience and knowledge in caring for them too.

About: I have grown up with dogs from the age of 6, at 11 my father obtained a farm and i learnt a substantial amount about animal care. From feeding to delivering new animals into the world i have done it all. Dogs and Cats have always had a soft spot in my heart and i am very understanding that they have emotions to. Kittens and Puppies aren't just for Christmas they are for life. I work 3 days a week and have the rest to schedule in so please ask. Flexibility is key. As long as people are honest with me and give me enough time to schedule them in i can work out slots for eveyone. I have my Cat Boo she is a exotic shorthair and i care for her to the fullest she is a very relaxed and happy Cat.

About: I have always loved dogs and wanted my own one for many years. I finally adopted a tiny little pup in 2018. I’d like to use Rover to help others with small dog care as I know you want to leave your dog with someone who cares as much about them as you do. I'm fairly easy going and patient. I often take care of my friends dogs when they go away so have experience taking care of 2-3 small dogs at a time, though my preference would be just to have one other during the day when I’m working from home and at weekends. Happy to walk any size dog as long as they are good walking on a lead. Will only care for small dogs in my own home as I have a small dog. I work from home 4 days a week and can be available short notice for local walks in Leigh On Sea. Ideally walks before 9am, around lunchtime and after 6pm weekdays. Weekends available on an adhoc basis I have a small secure fenced garden with a metal staircase that leads down to it, so your pup will be safe to roam freely in the garden.
