About: Hi, I’m Stevie, the face behind my new dog walking and pet drop-in service here in Brentwood. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and over the past five years I’ve been lucky enough to turn that passion into hands-on experience. I previously worked with Kirsty’s Animal Magic, where I was involved in dog boarding, daycare, and drop-in visits. During that time, I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, building strong bonds with both pets and their owners. Now, I’m excited to branch out on my own and bring that same level of care, reliability, and love to pets in the Brentwood area. I truly understand that every animal is unique, and I take the time to get to know their individual needs, routines, and personalities so they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s a fun, energetic walk or a calm and reassuring drop-in visit, your pet will always be treated as if they were my own. I’m also pet first aid trained, so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry friend is in safe and capable hands. For me, this isn’t just a job—it’s something I genuinely love doing every single day. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! Pet care is my full-time job, so I’m able to offer consistent and reliable availability for you and your pets. I provide dog walking Monday to Friday, typically between 11am and 3pm—perfect for midday walks while you’re at work or busy during the day. I’m also available for both dog and cat drop-in visits up to three times a day, Monday through Sunday. Whether your pet needs feeding, company, playtime, or a quick check-in, I can be flexible to suit your routine. Because this is what I do full-time, I’m able to give your pets the time, attention, and care they deserve, while also being dependable and easy to book around your schedule. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. When out on dog walks, I take a calm and attentive approach, making sure each walk is suited to your dog’s age, energy level, and personality. I keep dogs on the lead unless told otherwise and only in safe, appropriate areas. I’m always aware of our surroundings—avoiding busy roads, being mindful around other dogs, and making sure your dog stays safe and comfortable at all times. I also carry water when needed and keep a close eye on signs of tiredness or stress so your dog can enjoy their walk safely. For drop-in visits, I respect that your home is your pet’s safe space. With both dogs and cats, I stick closely to their usual routine to help them feel relaxed and secure. This includes feeding, refreshing water, cleaning up where needed, and spending quality time playing or giving affection—depending on what your pet enjoys. I’m especially mindful with cats, understanding that some prefer gentle interaction while others may need a bit more space and patience. I am pet first aid trained, so you can feel confident that your pet is in safe and capable hands. I treat every pet as if they were my own, always aiming to create a calm, caring, and trustworthy environment while you’re away.

“Sarah and her daughter were great with our kitties, and even managed to get my shy tortie to come out of her shell. Her updates were prompt and had plenty of photos, would definitely be first choice for my next sitter! ”

“Amazing experience with Jenny from start to finish. She is the best sitter we have experienced with. Very detailed and caring of our kitty. Can’t recommend her enough and will be using her again.”

“Debbie looked after my cat, Nino for around 10 days. Debbie won Nino over and played with him and fussed him every day. She provided me with updates and photos frequently. I hate leaving Nino but knowing Debbie was taking such good care of him made it a lot easier. I will definitely book Debbie again. ”

“Kerry was so amazing with our 2 cats over the 10 days we were on holiday, and put us at ease straight away being a cat lover herself. We came back to some chilled out cats given they’d been at home, no stress of a Cattery. She came twice a day, fed and watered them well, even brought her own radio to keep them company. Poopa scooped and helped kept the areas clean and tidy! Sent us pictures and videos everyday, and to boot we all made a new friend. Thank you so much Kerry!!!!”

About: I moved to Brentwood 2 years ago with my partner from my family home, where I have cared for my family dog for over 18 years and continue to do on a regular basis. I now also have two 3 year old dogs of my own, pugs Nellie and Nala! I have cared for a variety of dogs via Rover since January 2024, and also for friends and family’s dogs over the years, of all sizes and ages. I work from home 3/5 days of the working week, with a fair amount of flexibility in my schedule. Because of all of this, I am able to care for your fur babies when I am home in the week. I am available for dog walks or drop-ins for your pets throughout the day in the week or on Saturdays if you’re in or around the Brentwood area. I drive and I am happy to have your pets in the car strapped in with a bed or blanket (or a cage if this is your preference and what they are used to) if required. For walks, my preference is to remain on a long lead regardless of if they have a good recall or not. Please do drop me a message if you would like more details on my experience with dogs, or if you have any questions about how I can cater to your fur baby 😊 I work from home Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and I can be available on weekends with a relatively flexible schedule throughout all of these days. If you would require me to visit your home to care for your dog, it would be great to visit, or have a video call, beforehand so I can familiarise myself with the space and where everything is to care for your pet.
“Jade was wonderful with our 2 cats. She popped in to feed and play with them twice a day and we got great photos and a little update each time which put us at ease for our first time having a sitter - plus I actually think Jade took better photos of them than I do myself 😅 would highly recommend!”

“Kendall looked after Hugo beautifully today. She took him for a walk then did a drop in visit as we were out all day. She did everything I asked her to do and kept me in the loop. Kendall was caring and attentive and Hugo was very happy to see her. Was very reassuring knowing he was in such good hands 😄😄”

“Yasmina took brilliant care of our miniature yorkie puppy. She sent detailed and reassuring information to us after each visit. We cannot thank her enough for looking after our baby boy so well. We will definitely use Yasmina’s services again in the near future.?”

“Jay was beyond amazing with our old man Loki. He was kind, gentle and patient with our little man and we couldn’t be more happy with the service he provided! Loki was sleepy and happy when we got home, which means he’s had a great walk. We were sent pictures, and updates. Jay was on time, very polite and sweet and clearly has a real passion for working with dogs! We will be booking in regularly with jay, as Loki seems to love him to bits! Thank you for looking after our boy with such care and love.”

I currently work part time, I am available a during the week and at weekends and nights if needed. Also, I will be able to do some holidays. Any time I am walking a dog I will always keep them on the their lead. If they are used to sleeping in the bedroom then I will do the same as they will feel more comfortable and want them to feel at home.
About: I have a cat and two dogs of my own, which I have taken care of since they were puppies. I have both dog sat and cat sat for multiple friends and family (including over long periods of time). I am currently a second year biology student with a particular interest in animal behaviour. On my days off from university I enjoy looking after and forming connections with your pets and i feel very passionate about what i do. I will make sure your pets are safe, happy and fed. I will keep a constant eye on them and look after them to the best of my ability.
About: I grew up with a gorgeous border collie whom I trained to a high level as the breed requires lots of mental stimulation and physical activity. In my previous role I would also dog sit a variety of breeds and loved every second! I currently work hybrid with my partner Sam so one of us is always at home during the week. We enjoy going on walks around the local forests and Essex countryside. I have a spacious garden in a gated community plus lots of local green areas where furry friends can enjoy long walks and nature. There are many dogs in the neighbourhood for them to socialise! There is a lift in my apartment building for older dogs who may be less mobile, it also leads directly to the garden. My apartment is one floor so the pooch would not have to climb stairs or be separated at night, meaning they would have constant company. I have comfy beds, blankets, treats and toys, and welcome their favourites into the home.
“Katie was great, always on time to give time-sensitive medication to one of our cats, she sent us regular updates and was happy to accommodate our cats’ quirks. Will definitely book Katie again!”

Great to have Jo come and look after my furry friends again, as expected she did an amazing job and went over and above to make sure they were treated like the special felines they are! Would recommend Jo as a catsitter to anyone - she’s been a godsend and well definitely have her come and look after them again!

Stevie was absolutely amazing! So glad that I booked her! My cat can be a bit of a difficult one but she did everything I asked and more and I appreciated everything she did for my cat whilst I was away. I trusted her in my house completely and knew my cat was in safe hands -absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to book her again! Thank you so much for helping look after Strudel!

Vicky did a fantastic job taking care of my 3 cats. All of them have very different characters and needs, some are very shy to strangers and yet somehow they all loved Vicky from the first visit. They came to socialise with her every time she came to feed them. I’ve received photos during every visit which put me at ease while away. I came back to very happy and relaxed cats. I would definitely recommend Vicky as she takes care of your cats with love as they would be her own!

Shay has been absolutely amazing! I couldn’t recommend her highly enough! She sent me daily messages, videos & pictures and made me feel completely at ease knowing my 3 boys were being taken care of and treated with love and affection, Shay is a very kind and caring person and I could see all my boys really liked her! 🥰 Very professional, I will definitely be booking her again! Thank you so much Shay. Xx

Naomi was wonderful. It was the first time we have left our jumpy rescue cat since we have had her. Naomi’s calmness, patience and perseverance with her meant Mia was relaxed enough to play and have some cuddles. The updates and pictures meant we could relax whilst on holiday happy that Mia was being truly looked after.

Jenny cared for my cat very well. I asked her to do some little extras like leave empty food pouches in outside bin which she did. I came home to a well looked after animal. Loved the daily updates which was a comfort to me whilst away from home. Would recommend this service to anyone.

Jane is incredible and I would highly recommend! This was the first time leaving our cat with a sitter and Jane made us very feel comfortable. She bonded with our cat quickly through lots of fuss and attention with regular updates throughout. I will definitely be using Jane again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
