About: Hi there! We’re Leia and Dan, a young couple who loves animals. We’re currently in a flat, so we’re looking to share our space with your furry friends to get a flavour of what it’d be like for us in the future. We live in a comfortable space with a balcony for fresh air throughout the day. Both working hybrid work patterns so one of us will be at home throughout the day to have cuddles, belly rubs and walks. Having grown up with cats, and regularly looked after my parents cats, we know they have their boundaries, but love to have attention (on their terms) and have that perfect chin scratch. When boarding cats, we wouldn’t have the balcony open to ensure they are kept safe. We naturally love to be outside, whether that’s walking or camping. So, if you decide to board your pooch, trust they will be taken on many walks (it keeps us healthy!) to explore local routes. Whether it’s a walk, a day, a weekend, a week, or more, we’re happy to discuss looking after your pet. Both of us work hybrid work patterns so one of us will be at home throughout the day to have cuddles, belly rubs and walks throughout the week. Our weekends change depending on the weather and social plans. Sometimes we stay at home watching movies and playing board games, and other times we like to venture out and explore a new walking routes and stop mid way for a lunch break. So we can accommodate our schedule depending on your pet. We have a balcony for fresh air which we will keep open if we are looking after dogs (and a watchful eye at all times). For cats, we wouldn’t have these open but instead keep our windows ajar so the fresh air can still flow in but they are kept safe. If looking after pets in your home, we take security very seriously. Ensuring that any doors are locked and keys kept safe until you return.

“Tegan was great at looking after my cat, Cookie, while I was away for a few days. She was friendly, communicative, and always punctual, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. She sent me photos every time she visited, and it was reassuring to see Cookie was happy and well looked after. I would highly recommend Tegan to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. Thank you so much❤️”

“I would definitely recommend Samantha. She is trustworthy and reliable, and my cats liked her right away during our meet & greet! Even though we have three cats, she took wonderful care of them. She kept us updated with photos and messages on every visit, which made us feel at ease while we were away. Thank you so much, Sam! ♥️”

“Barbara took care of our little dog and 2 indoor cats while we were away. She is so thoughtful and responsible. We appreciated the care she took to meet with us and our pets before the actual date of our trip. Barbara was kind to send us updates and photos while we were away. She was everything we were hoping for. We are very happy to have found a wonderful pet sitter!”

“Look! Don't even think twice! Michael is your guy! From a very worried owner to a very jealous one 🤣 he was an absolute star, keeping me updated after every single visit, cute pics and videos! Karma absolutely loved him. I've never seen my cat doing "biscuits" with anyone else apart from me and on day 2, I was sent a video of her doing it with him! Oh and kisses... She gave him kisses! He's definitely a "cat whisperer" and I'll obviously book again with him!!!”

About: About Me Hello! I'm Vincent, and I'd love the opportunity to care for your dog. Animals have always been an important part of my life. Our family was lucky enough to spend 16 wonderful years with our Shiba Inu, Pixiu, and many happy years with our two beloved cats, Sugar and Creamy. Living alongside them taught me that every pet has their own unique personality, routine and way of communicating. I'm naturally calm, patient and reliable, and I genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs of all ages and personalities. Whether your dog loves long walks, gentle strolls or simply enjoys taking their time to sniff everything along the way, I'll always make sure they feel comfortable and relaxed. Alongside my love for animals, I'm also a professional photographer. I enjoy capturing natural moments during our walks, so you'll often receive lovely photos as part of your updates. My goal is simple, to provide the same level of care and attention that I'd want for my own pets. I hope to become someone your dog is always excited to see at the front door. About My Services Every dog is different, so I always adapt my care to suit their individual needs and routine. Whether it's a fun walk, a drop-in visit or spending quality time together, I'll make sure your dog receives plenty of attention, exercise and affection in a safe and positive environment. I believe communication is just as important as great pet care, so I'll always keep you updated with messages and photos throughout the booking, giving you complete peace of mind while you're away. I treat every dog with kindness, patience and respect, and I hope to build long-term relationships with both pets and their owners. Requested Information About Your Pet Before we meet, I'd love to know a little about your dog so I can make them feel as comfortable as possible. Things that are helpful to know include: • Their personality and usual routine • Favourite toys, treats or activities • Any medical conditions or allergies • Anything they particularly love or dislike The more I know beforehand, the easier it is to give your dog a happy and relaxed experience. During the Stay Your dog's safety, happiness and wellbeing will always be my priority. I'll follow their usual routine as closely as possible, making sure they have plenty of exercise, fresh water, rest and, of course, lots of attention. I'll send regular updates during our time together, including photos, so you'll always know how your dog is getting on. As photography is one of my passions, I enjoy capturing beautiful, natural moments whenever possible. From time to time, I also like to surprise regular clients with a small collection of timeless portraits as a personal thank-you for their trust. So happy Natasha was available to look after my 2 cats for a week. It was the first time I had left them for that long and was anxious to get a sitter but Natasha was really reassuring and she spent time getting to know the cats. They were clearly very happy with her and I appreciated the daily photographs of them. Will definitely be booking with Natasha again, so thankful.

Tegan was great at looking after my cat, Cookie, while I was away for a few days. She was friendly, communicative, and always punctual, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. She sent me photos every time she visited, and it was reassuring to see Cookie was happy and well looked after. I would highly recommend Tegan to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. Thank you so much❤️

Ben & Gabby are fantastic! They took great care of our cat Niko. They had one drop in visit a day, during which they gave our cat lots of attention, pets and play time. They kept us updated with Rover cards, pictures & videos. Highly recommend! ⭐️ it's a shame we've found them so late, but as now we're moving to a different city this unfortunately was our first and last time x thank you so much!!

Michael looked after our cat and dog for a week and kept us constantly updated with photos and evaluations of their wellbeing. Despite being quite shy around strangers, they took to him immediately and Michael did a super job in making sure they didn't miss us too much while we were away. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a sitter, especially in mixed pet and temperament households.

Laura took fantastic care of our cats and our home while we were away. She sent us regular updates and photos, which really gave us peace of mind. She followed our instructions perfectly and left everything in order. Will certainly be calling her again the next time we need a cat sitter. Highly recommended!

Giusi was the best cat sitter you could ask for - she sends really thorough updates and I just know she gave our cat lots of fuss and love when she visited. I wouldn't hesitate to book her again and if you're looking for peace of mind when you're away for your cat, book Giusi! A cat lover through and through.

Harika was great. Super quick with replies, really helpful, and our cat loved her. I’ve been feeding this cat for years and never once got that level of enthusiasm. Clearly Harika has some kind of cat magic. Would 100% ask her again (even if my ego may never recover).

We would like to say a big thank you to Ruby for doing a amazing job and looking after my cat jett I’m so happy don’t know how to start saying thank you what a amazing day person you are and a credit to Rover your place of work your apart of your family in my eyes thank you from me and Cheryl and Jett man

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
