Basic DBS checked and Canine First Aid Level 2 (VTQ) certified. Over the past 3+ years, caring for pets has become a service that I am truly grateful to be able to provide. I have also been helping friends and colleagues feed their cats for the past 20 years. I am looking to extend this into a professional service, offering pets a calm, loving, and more personal care. Each pet I look after receives plenty of attention, care, and cuddles, with routines tailored to their individual needs. My goal is to give pet owners complete peace of mind, knowing their pets are happy, comfortable, and well looked after while they’re away. I’m currently offering drop-in visits and dog walking, while working towards obtaining my home boarding licence in the near future. These steps are part of my commitment to building a fully licensed, professional service that prioritises the highest standards of safety, care, and comfort for every pet. In the near future, I plan to expand my services to include home boarding and doggy daycare, providing a calm, attentive, home-from-home environment for your pets. Thank you for your interest. Caring for pets in pet owner's home: I prioritise safety, trust, and maintaining a familiar environment. I will try and follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel relaxed and secure. I also treat every home with respect and ensure pets receive attentive, reliable care while their owners are away. Only for home boarding which is a service I am yet to provide professionally: I have a fully fenced garden for safe outdoor time, and indoors I can easily create a more enclosed space using the living room or kitchen if that helps a dog feel more settled. If your dog feels more comfortable in a crate, I’m happy to accommodate that. Most dogs sleep in their own beds provided, and we also have a little sofa that’s become a favourite spot for many of our doggy visitors.

Barbara took care of our little dog and 2 indoor cats while we were away. She is so thoughtful and responsible. We appreciated the care she took to meet with us and our pets before the actual date of our trip. Barbara was kind to send us updates and photos while we were away. She was everything we were hoping for. We are very happy to have found a wonderful pet sitter!
Without a doubt our dog loves to stay with Barbara. We simply have to mention her name and he is literally packing his bags getting ready to go. It’s so lovely to leave him somewhere we feel that we can relax knowing he will be well looked after and loved. I don’t want anyone to know so I can keep this lovely lady as a hidden gem. But actually she is too lovely to do that so if you need someone to look after your dog 100% Barbara is the one.
Coco has been going to Barbara for a few years now and always gets so excited when she sees her! Barbara looks after her as if she was her own and Coco Akways has a lovely time. Barbara is very responsive to texts so I know I can always get in touch with her. Highly recommend.

You can rely on her to provide loving, attentive care and will always go the extra mile to give them attention.
Barbara has looked after our brown Labrador several times and has always been fantastic. She’s reliable, easy to communicate with, and clearly very experienced with dogs. Our lab is always happy to see her, which says everything. Barbara keeps us updated and gives us complete peace of mind when we’re away. It’s clear she genuinely enjoys spending time with the dogs she cares for. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will definitely keep using her in the future.
Barbara is a wonderful dog sitter and walker. She is incredibly trustworthy, kind, and friendly, and has such a calm presence that immediately puts both dogs and owners at ease. She is always reliable and keeps me updated with regular photos and messages, which I really appreciate. Most importantly, my dog absolutely loves going to her, which says everything about the care and attention she gives.

I work full time from home with flexible hours, giving me the availability to provide drop-in visits and dog walking at times that best suit you and your dog’s routine according to my availability. Happy to arrange times to suit.
