About: Hi there! We’re Leia and Dan, a young couple who loves animals. We’re currently in a flat, so we’re looking to share our space with your furry friends to get a flavour of what it’d be like for us in the future. We live in a comfortable space with a balcony for fresh air throughout the day. Both working hybrid work patterns so one of us will be at home throughout the day to have cuddles, belly rubs and walks. Having grown up with cats, and regularly looked after my parents cats, we know they have their boundaries, but love to have attention (on their terms) and have that perfect chin scratch. When boarding cats, we wouldn’t have the balcony open to ensure they are kept safe. We naturally love to be outside, whether that’s walking or camping. So, if you decide to board your pooch, trust they will be taken on many walks (it keeps us healthy!) to explore local routes. Whether it’s a walk, a day, a weekend, a week, or more, we’re happy to discuss looking after your pet. Both of us work hybrid work patterns so one of us will be at home throughout the day to have cuddles, belly rubs and walks throughout the week. Our weekends change depending on the weather and social plans. Sometimes we stay at home watching movies and playing board games, and other times we like to venture out and explore a new walking routes and stop mid way for a lunch break. So we can accommodate our schedule depending on your pet. We have a balcony for fresh air which we will keep open if we are looking after dogs (and a watchful eye at all times). For cats, we wouldn’t have these open but instead keep our windows ajar so the fresh air can still flow in but they are kept safe. If looking after pets in your home, we take security very seriously. Ensuring that any doors are locked and keys kept safe until you return.

This allows me to provide more than just basic care—I can recognise body language, support positive behaviour, and tailor each dog’s routine to suit their individual needs. I have experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including more nervous or anxious dogs who may need extra patience and reassurance. I’m also confident reinforcing basic training such as lead manners and general obedience during their stay if needed. Another key difference is that your dog will rarely ever be left alone. Between me and my partner, someone is typically always home, so your dog will have constant supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. We are also both insured outside of Rover! I also provide a calm, spacious home environment and keep my bookings limited to a maximum of 2 dogs (as long as both owners are informed and have agreed prior), so each dog receives focused care rather than being one of many. Combined with regular updates and photos, I aim to give owners complete peace of mind while their dog is with me. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work in the pub downstairs (Thursday-Saturday evenings - can change depending on your booking!), but between me and my partner, one of us is always at home—so your dog will never be left alone. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, regular walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I’m also able to be flexible with routines, whether your dog prefers early walks, multiple shorter outings, or a more relaxed schedule. Because I’m in my final year of studying Animal Management, pet care is a central part of my lifestyle, not just something I do occasionally. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, secure, and spacious home environment in our private upstairs living area, away from noise and distractions. I always take the time to understand each dog’s routine, behaviour, and any specific needs before their stay. With my background in Animal Management, I’m confident reading dog body language, managing different temperaments, and ensuring a safe, stress-free environment. I keep bookings limited so each dog receives plenty of attention and space. I also carefully manage introductions and interactions if there are multiple dogs, always prioritising safety. About: I've had dogs of varying breeds my whole life, and so I'm comfortable looking after any dog. I regularly look after dogs for friends and family with the help of my friendly Cavapoo, Nellie. I treat all dogs like I would my own, with full access to the house and garden and a lot of love. I love walking and so am always keen to exercise dogs and give them a rewarding day. I work from home three days a week (Tues/Weds/Thurs) and so can be flexible throughout the week as well as on weekends. Dogs fit into our lives seemlessly and so we are always happy to have them in the house. I have a fenced garden and a friendly Cavapoo, Nellie who is always happy to share toys and keep dogs company whilst with us. About: I work from home and have always had a passion for caring for animals, so pet care allows me to combine both. I absolutely adore both cats and dogs and take great pride in providing a safe, loving environment for them. About: I have grown up around dogs, all across my family, looked after many for weeks at a time, taken them on walks for family members and for friends. Recently I have house sat for a few people who have cats too and found it just as easy. I operate clear communication with owners and make sure any requests are met and social requirements for the pets. Put 1 year experience because it doesn’t specify if cumulative or not. Will take your dog out for runs if you want I work at a cafe on a few days of the week. Hopefully going to be moving to a military role, which is why this is perfect for me for the short term. I am available most days as my current rota comes on a week by week, so I can book days where needed. I do not offer my own home but with owners homes, I will do my own quick check to make sure no issues such as holes in the fences or anything like that. I also double check how to do the locks and if there are any cat flaps or outdoor dog houses. Food timings are essential so I stick to the same time within 30 minutes each day, unless asked otherwise
