Growing up, I had a cocker spaniel for 13 years from the age of 9. I have loved dogs from a young age and have always had a special bond with them. I have taken care of dogs for my family/friends and I have a good knowledge on forming a bond with pets, how to care for dogs and signs of a healthy/ happy dog. I also recently obtained my dog first aid and emergency canine care certificate (Sept 2025) therefore, I am trained to help if any issues were to occur. I am currently studying on an animal management course in order to gain more knowledge on animal behaviour/ welfare and to eventually work within this field. I also volunteer at an animal sanctuary- cleaning out animals enclosures and providing them with food/water and attention, in order to develop my knowledge on animal care. I also spent a year in a kennel and cattery, looking after different breeds of dogs. PLEASE READ: For house sitting up to 4 hours I will keep the standard rate, however for longer than 4 hours I will adjust the price when you are booking (it will increase by £10 each hour that is added on) e.g 4 hours =£40, 5 hours =£50, 6 hours=£60 etc I am also happy to make reasonable adjustments to suit you.

I am unable to take pets into my home as I live in a flat. I will happily take care of your pets within your home and ensure they are safe and happy.

Abigail has looked after my dog Luna several times over the the past years and I could not recommend her enough. Luna is always well looked after by Abigail when she stays with her, multiple walks a day, well fed, groomed and lots of cuddles! I find it hard to leave Luna with just anyone but I absolutely trust Abigail and it gives me great peace of mind when Luna is with her. She always goes the extra mile to make sure my dog is well cared for and looked after! Abigail is well experienced and knowledgeable with dogs and I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I am currently available on some weekdays/evenings and occasional weekends. Please check my calendar for updates on my availability. I would be happy to help you out and look after your fur babies!

- Let me know if your dog has any behavioural/ dietary needs, I need to be aware of and how I can support that, or if they are anxious in particular situations so that I can adjust their care accordingly. I will ensure that anything that’s asked of me will be fulfilled.
