About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs since 11 so I’m very reliable in walking and caring. My dogs, Benny and Scruffy, are both 15 so I have experience in caring for senior dogs or dogs who may require medication. I also have a background in dogsitting for various friends and family. I am currently on my gap year so I do not have many commitments at the moment. So I am very flexible for time and can work around you! I’ll be sure to attend to your dogs every need and give them the best possible care while you’re away, I’ll be happy to follow any house/pet instruction and can provide you updated with pictures and chats during.

About: As a pet owner myself, of a fluffy bichon frise x pomeranian, and a rather temperamental cat, I know the importance of having piece of mind while a stranger looks after your fluffy friends. Growing up constantly surrounded by animals, and developing a love for creatures of all sizes, I have always been the go-to for dog walking, and house sitting for friends, family and even friends of friends, so whilst I am new to Rover I am not new to looking after other people’s pets. I have 3 years dog walking experience, alongside 10 years walking my own family dog; and I have 2 years of house sitting experience, getting on so well that many people have been repeat clients and recommending to others. I have a full drivers licence and a reliable car, with dog seatbelts so am able to travel with your dog(s) to quiet country walks, or to their favourite spots. Finishing A-Levels, and deciding to take a year off means that I can dedicate a lot of my time to Rover and provide routine for your pets. I have always had a passion for animals, and will be studying to become a Veterinary Technician. Due to this love of animals, I would love to be able to meet and look after a variety of pets, making them feel loved and comfortable even when away from their family. My camera roll is completely full of animals, of my own babies being cute and adorable or animals under my care, so you would be constantly reassured by lots of updates with videos, photos and messages because I do really understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave something so precious with someone. 🐈🐈‍⬛🐕🐕‍🦺 Currently, I am only working part time, so I am free most weekdays. Weekends I often work but would be available in the evenings, which can be perfect during the warmer months. I have lots of experience not only feeding and taking care of animals but also making sure they are happy and comfortable with me. I have looked after rescue cats. Also I have taken nervous dogs with no lead training on walks safely. ❤️

About: Animals have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I raised my beloved rescue dog from a 2-month-old puppy all the way to 14 years. In her final years, she became very ill, which gave me extensive, hands-on experience in specialized senior care and administering medical treatments, including oral tablets, liquid solutions, and eye drops. Throughout my life, I have also owned and cared for many cats.Beyond my own pets, family members, friends, and neighbors have regularly trusted me to sit, feed, and look after their dogs of various breeds and sizes. I am a very active person, so I am always excited for long walks and engaging playtime. I am also happy to help with essential grooming, such as brushing and safe nail trimming. Your pet will receive the highest level of responsibility, love, and dedicated care! I am currently not working, which means I have a completely flexible schedule and can dedicate all my free time to your pet. I am available at any time by prior arrangement, allowing me to provide constant attention, timely feeding, and long walks whenever your dog needs them. Safety and trust are my absolute priorities. I have plenty of space in my home and a secure, fenced garden where your dog can play safely. Since I currently do not have any pets of my own, your furry friend will receive 100% of my love, care, and undivided attention. I know first-hand how important it is to feel at ease when leaving your fur bby in someone else’s hands, so I prioritise communication, consistency in individually tailored care and genuine affection in every visit! We live in a 3 bedroom house on a quiet dead-end close, and have a secure fenced garden that your dog would have access to whenever they'd like, whether it's a quick toilet break, a run around with my doggo, or a snooze in the sun spots. We can only take houseguests that are friendly and well-socialised with other dogs due to Rico being quite playful, and they must also be good with children, as my partner has an 8 year old daughter who stays with us 50% of the week. She is very loving and gentle with animals, and used to the company of big dogs, but its really important that any pets we take in have a good temperament and no history of aggression. I can also cater to any specific diets, schedules or administering oral medicines - for overnight stays I just ask that you provide their usual food to keep things consistent and comfortable while they're away from home, and you're welcome to bring anything that might give them xtra comfort if needs be 💝 For added peace of mind all-round, dogs need to be microchipped and come with their collar and ID tag please. “Janine is great sitter and has been exceptionally helpful since my little sausage had a disc rupture and is paralysed in his back legs. He requires extra care (and cuddles) and Janine has been fantastic. My other sausage is also quite nervous with new people to begin with and Janine was very patient (and put up with the barking!) so much so that my sausage fell asleep next to her eventually! Not only did Janine go out of her way to be flexible with timings when I was in a bind getting to the airport but she sent me regular photo updates, which put my mind at ease. Janine has never let me down and I would highly recommend her for dog sitting.”
