About: Animals have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I raised my beloved rescue dog from a 2-month-old puppy all the way to 14 years. In her final years, she became very ill, which gave me extensive, hands-on experience in specialized senior care and administering medical treatments, including oral tablets, liquid solutions, and eye drops. Throughout my life, I have also owned and cared for many cats.Beyond my own pets, family members, friends, and neighbors have regularly trusted me to sit, feed, and look after their dogs of various breeds and sizes. I am a very active person, so I am always excited for long walks and engaging playtime. I am also happy to help with essential grooming, such as brushing and safe nail trimming. Your pet will receive the highest level of responsibility, love, and dedicated care! I am currently not working, which means I have a completely flexible schedule and can dedicate all my free time to your pet. I am available at any time by prior arrangement, allowing me to provide constant attention, timely feeding, and long walks whenever your dog needs them. Safety and trust are my absolute priorities. I have plenty of space in my home and a secure, fenced garden where your dog can play safely. Since I currently do not have any pets of my own, your furry friend will receive 100% of my love, care, and undivided attention. About: My boyfriend and I are huge dog lovers and would absolutely love to have a dog of our own one day, but we’re holding off for another year (we also love our holidays!). In the meantime, we love opening our home to four-legged guests! We regularly look after his brother’s dog and my parents’ dog (both pictured) - who we used to live with before we moved in together. so we’re very used to different personalities, routines, and plenty of cuddles. Your pup will be treated like part of the family, with lots of love, playtime, walks and a comfortable home environment while you’re away. We can’t wait to meet them! I regularly work from home so your dog will have all-day company. I’ll take them on a morning (8am) & afternoon (5pm) lead walk. Please note i’m not comfortable letting dogs off the lead until I’ve known them for a considerable amount of time and trust their recall. We have a good sized garden, in the summer I’m happy to leave the patio doors open so they can come and go as they please whilst I work upstairs. Dogs are welcome and even encouraged on the furniture. My boyfriend would prefer for dogs to sleep down by the side of the bed, but I cave to puppy eyes easily 🤭 We have a fenced and locked garden. We are tidy couple so rest assured there won’t be anything left out for your dog to chew/choke on. We can crate your dog if you prefer. However if I were to nip out I’d be happy to leave them in the down stairs front room and kitchen area as it’s hard floor (opposed to carpet upstairs). Our house is very quiet other than the occasional doorbell ring from a deliver driver.
About: We've been lucky enough to share our lives with Dachshunds for over 18 years, and if you know the breed, you'll know they're not just dogs... they're tiny bosses with huge personalities! ❤️ We recently said goodbye to our beloved Hector, and while he'll always have a place in our hearts, our other Dachshund, Betty, is definitely missing her partner in crime (and so are we!). That's why we'd love to open our home to fellow Dachshunds —we love them, and we understand all their funny little quirks! Your sausage dog will be treated as one of the family, with plenty of cuddles, attention, and daily walks alongside Betty. Between me and my husband, we work around each other, so there's almost always someone at home (apart from the occasional school run etc!). Our only request is that your Dachshund is happy and confident around our two children, of course our children will be supervised but we know not all dachshunds are confident around children in the first place. If your dachshund has a similar fur brother or sister of a different breed and you would like them to stay with us please let us know and I'm sure we can accommodate. Both me and my husband work around each other, our house is a busy one but there is almost always someone home, the kids need to be taken to school in the mornings but then the day is ours! Your dog will be treated as one of our own, Betty sleeps out of her crate in one of her many beds around the house. We understand we are looking after your baby so any special wants or needs can be catered for within reason.

Jane had Ollie for the weekend for me and he was treated as one of the family, went on some great walks, had a lovely time and would have happily stayed with her forever I'm sure! The first couple of days, Sonny was a bit unsettled, but I felt confident that Olivita would help him settle in—especially with her lovely dog, Mikey, there to keep him company. I really appreciated receiving photos showing Sonny getting cuddles from the humans and happily playing with Mikey. It was also incredibly thoughtful of Olivita to sleep downstairs with him when he was howling, which showed real care and understanding. When we picked him up, Sonny was super excited to see us, which reassured me that he’d had a fun and loving stay. I’d be more than happy to leave Sonny with Olivita again.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
