I am new to rover but have lots of experience with dog sitting. Apart from caring for my very own Cavapoo, Teddy, I have regularly looked after my family and friends pets too. Dogs have always been a part of my life and always had one in my home so I have a lot of experience from owning my own pets. I used to have a shar-pei and a Staffordshire bull terrier. I work from home so it enables me to give your pet all the attention they need, some company with plenty of cuddles and lots of playtime! My dog would also love a friend for the day or the night too. I love all type of breeds, big and small. To make sure your furry pet is comfortable, I am happy to meet them before hand and will ensure you are kept regularly updated with photos too. Stanley had a wonderful time with Shannon. From the moment he walked through the door, he was treated as if he were her own dog. She took the time to listen to us about all of his little quirks, habits and routines, which gave us real confidence that he would be well cared for. While we were away, we never had to worry about what Stanley was up to. Shannon kept us updated with just the right amount of photos and messages, enough to reassure us that he was happy and settled without overwhelming us. It was clear that Stanley was loved and cared for throughout his stay, and we wouldn't hesitate to use Shannon again in the future. Highly recommended

I highly recommend Shannon has a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter. I was in a situation and I needed a dog walker for a few hours but I was very nervous about anyone caring for my dog as well as I do myself. Shannon was recommended by a friend. Being a responsible pet owner herself, she treats my Bonnie as if she was her own. Bonnie built up a trusting bond with Shannon that I’ve left her overnight on the odd occasion when needed.
Shannon offered to help walk my dogs when I was unable to and I couldn’t praise her enough. My dogs were always so excited to see her which reassured me that they enjoyed going out with her on a walk. She cared for them as if they were her own.

Schedule
I currently work from home and can offer regular toilet breaks with a big enough garden available and huge greenery / fields near by so your furry pet will get enough exercise too.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced garden which is safely secured. If you prefer to keep your pet crated, I do have one available. In addition, I have a 16 month Cavapoo of my own who will ensure to keep your pet company. My pet is allowed in every room of my house, no rooms are restricted so will ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable.

A typical day
I can provide lots of play time and interact regularly. We have a large greenery and woodlands near by for long walks, adventure's and sniffing to keep your dog stimulated through out the day.
