About: I've had all sorts of pets since I was a small child and looked after my family dog until I moved out of home. I regularly looked after my sister reactive chow chow and worked with him on lead training and basic commands to correct his aggressive and possessive behaviour I work part time. I clean on Monday, and work in a salon Thursday and Friday but I'm never out the house for more than four hours. I do occasionally do nail clients from home as well. Our weekends involve going on walks and seeing friends. I have a fenced in garden and plenty of walks and dog fields around to give your dog varied exercise. I keep dogs out of our room but they have free range of the lounge and kitchen. Happy to create your dog if that makes you comfortable

I have been using Bex for the last 3 weeks and I’m really impressed with her. After our first meet in a local park my dogs were so excited each time she came round to take them out for a long walk or feed them. She sends video and picture updates throughout the day and my dogs are always knackered when I get home. This is the first time I have left the dogs for the day since getting them and she put my mind at rest straightaway. She goes over and above, cleaning up accidents and even hosing down the patio and my dogs after they had an upset tummy. She has been an absolute star and I will continue to use her services for as long as she’ll have us :)

About: A lifelong animal lover and advocate with hands-on experience caring for animals of all shapes, sizes and temperaments - from growing up with rescue pets to professional experience as a dog walker more recently, where I handled up to 4 dogs at a time. Today, I’m a proud mum to Rico, our sweet and playful 2 yr old Husky x Mastiff, who's very friendly and always keen to make new pals - big and small! Adopting Rico has taught me even more about handling and training strong, energetic breeds with confidence, patience and a whoole lotta love 💝 As a heads up for first-time bookings, a free meet & greet would be needed ahead of any Daycare requests, while a full trial day - offered at 20% off the full price - would need to be completed ahead of any long-stay Boarding of 2+ nights. This is to ensure the wellbeing of my dog as well as your own. New Rover users also get £15 off their first booking with the below link: https://www.rover.com/sit/chels21350 I work remotely for the whole week, so I am flexible throughout the days to give pets in my care all the attention, walks, tickles and toys they might need. I know first-hand how important it is to feel at ease when leaving your fur bby in someone else’s hands, so I prioritise communication, consistency in individually tailored care and genuine affection in every visit! We live in a 3 bedroom house on a quiet dead-end close, and have a secure fenced garden that your dog would have access to whenever they'd like, whether it's a quick toilet break, a run around with my doggo, or a snooze in the sun spots. We can only take houseguests that are friendly and well-socialised with other dogs due to Rico being quite playful, and they must also be good with children, as my partner has an 8 year old daughter who stays with us 50% of the week. She is very loving and gentle with animals, and used to the company of big dogs, but its really important that any pets we take in have a good temperament and no history of aggression. I can also cater to any specific diets, schedules or administering oral medicines - for overnight stays I just ask that you provide their usual food to keep things consistent and comfortable while they're away from home, and you're welcome to bring anything that might give them xtra comfort if needs be 💝 For added peace of mind all-round, dogs need to be microchipped and come with their collar and ID tag please. If you think things could be a good fit or you have any questions, just drop me a line ☺️

About: With my experience and dedication, I am able to provide the very best care for your furry friend. I have experience with all breed's, big and small and have made it my mission to learn and study as much about dog's and their behaviour as possible, continuing with this every day! I am currently studying towards qualifications in Canine Behaviour Training, which is a keen interest of mine. I am fully insured and DBS checked and have completed a canine first aid course. There is nothing I love more than seeing a happy, fulfilled dog and I throughly enjoy the adventure whilst walking alongside them. I am fully-flexible currently, with plenty of time to dedicate to looking after your furry friends. I am available for check-in's and walks differing in lengths. I will always put your pets needs at the forefront of my actions. If I am entering your home, you can be sound in the knowledge that I will treat it with respect and make sure that your dog has everything it needs to be comfortable and happy. About: We have helped care for a variety of dogs through Rover and privately and would love to be a 'holiday home' for your dog too. Before Rover I have regularly helped pet/house sit dogs/cats for family/friends. I have a calm presence animals seem to like. 'Home from home' experience guaranteed! LICENCE NUMBER AAL/155 Your dog is welcome to come and stay with myself and my partner, Nick as well as our lovely rescue dog, Ada. I work from home some days but there is always someone at home. Nick takes Ada for an early morning walk before he goes to work and your dog can come to. Then we have evening walkies each eve over the fields opposite our house. Lunch time walkies may also be added. Weekends we like to visit dog friendly venues or sometimes book an enclosed field/wood for safe off lead fun. Ada is a sensitive soul but we call her the 'supervisor' as she generally hangs out and watches over what guest dogs are up to. She can sometimes be playful but she being quite low energy she is also happy to lay about (and snooze). I have a 'higher standards' 4 star council licence rating (you won't find many on Rover who can say that!). My rates may seem slightly more than others on Rover but this is because I need to consider tax, insurance, licence fees and paying for things like vet approved disinfectant to keep your dog safe as well as my ongoing training. I am fully insured for boarding, sitting, transportation as well as basic grooming. I collaborate with Betty and berties groomers and can transport your dog here for a groom whilst you have your holiday I have a certificate in dog first aid, safety and basic grooming. I regular update my canine CPD. I am aiming to complete a canine behaviour course by the end of the year but have good knowledge of dogs especially owning a rescue. I would always keep a close eye on your animal whilst they are in my care. Being a nurse & counsellor, I am very observant and vigilant to your dogs emotions and of course am trusting. I provide a 'care plan' for every dog monitoring their diet/fluid intake, toileting, behaviours, enrichment. I am able to give tablets or creams meds as needed. I have vast human dementia experience so feel I could manage confused pooches too. I'll carefully follow any instructions you leave me re diet etc. Ada is better chicken free so I understand the importance of allergies. An enhanced DBS certificate is available on request. If I needed to leave your dog at home (quite rare), I use a camera in the kitchen to keep monitoring for any significant agitation and leave the radio on the drown out some outside sounds. I tend to leave radio 2 overnight downstairs to help dogs settle to. I am happy to keep up with any training your dog needs especially if they are young.

About: My family and I have had and taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I love all animals and want to make sure they are happy and safe at all times. I was raised with police dogs and now have two little ones of my own, Bonnie and Chester. We couldn't imagine our home without them, they are part of the family. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and we are happy to accommodate whatever you dog needs. I am available at all times, including weekends or holidays for whatever service you require. We can host multiple dogs in our house at the same time and deliver whatever needs and expectations you have for your pet. At our home we have a fenced garden and lots of places to roam within the house. Pets are allowed on the furniture and beds. I want them to feel as if they were at home. I have two Yorkshire terriers, Bonnie and Chester. Chester loves other dogs and wants to be friends with everyone, Bonnie is more reserved and can be quite nervous at times but adapts quickly. I am easily able to keep all dogs separate if requested. In our house we are always playing or having cuddles with our dogs, we love taking them for long walks and giving them the exercise they need.

About: I have been living on an animal sanctuary since April 2024, where 4 dogs freely roam around with me and the fellow animal residents while I work. I love all animals and have experience with very many personalities from working and living on this farm, including stubborn and difficult ones! I have had dogs since I was 4 years old and I love to create trusting bonds with dogs and showering them with the affection they all deserve. I am currently looking for some smaller jobs to spend some extra time with animals, and my schedule can be worked around to suit your needs. I am open to looking after animals in their home environments where they are happy and comfortable, making sure they are at ease while their owners are away.

Would definitely recommend Klara, as she is trustworthy and made me feel safe when leaving my dog in her hands.

About: I have had pets my entire life and dogs since I was 14. I have just returned home from working abroad fro the past 10 years with my little whippet. She is now 11 years old and have come home to the beautiful Essex country because i miss it. I work from home and absolutely love going for long walks with her everyday. I often take other dogs when people need and dogsit regularly. Whilst I don't have a garden, I have an entire cricket pitch on my door step for regular outdoor breaks and then beyond that footpaths and fields galore. I have doggy rucksacks for the smaller and older pups but for those who enjoy the longest walkies let me know and me and my whippet will happily go out for 2-3 hours from time to time. I get up and walk for 30-60 minutes about 7 am, then throughout the day whilst i am working i take regular breaks out in the garden which backs into the horses. Then between 4:30 and 7 will go out for another walk and evening miander after pups dinner before settling down for some Tv and snuggles on the sofa and bed. I live on a large 2000 acre farm so there are abundant walkies and no other dogs to contend with which is good because I can let the pups just enjoy themselves! There are horses and cows and livestock so please let me know if your dog is reactive- I have one 11 year old Whippet who loves cuddles and play time and all the sniffs over the fields. She also loves sleeping on the bed, but will usually stay in her bed until 5am and then get in for a couple of hours before breakfast and walks. I also have a crazy 10 month old daxie who loves to play, to note he is currently not spayed so we cannot accept aggressive unneutered males however we host regulars who are unsure red and they love each other.

About: Growing up I’ve always been surrounded by dogs, so feel I have a lot of experience and confidence in caring and providing them with lots of cuddles and walkies! I am very much an outdoorsy person, so will be happy to take your pup on lots of fun new walks in different environments, allowing them to smell different scents and make new friends! I am fairly flexible so should be able to do drop in visits, dog walks and night stays on short notice! Just drop me a message! :) Making sure that your dog feels comfortable around me is a very important factor to me. I am happy to take my time and ease myself into your environment, allowing them to adjust to a new person being within their space, and for them to build up a bond with myself through time and patience. I understand that all dogs have different personalities, whether they’re timid or crazy, I’ll match my personality to theirs!

About: I have years of experience looking after pets of friends, my own, and through word of mouth I have house sat for many others. I have looked after and helped train dogs of varying ages including those with challenging behaviour. I have developed a good understanding of canine behaviour in this time and I ensure every dog in my care receives the attention, patience, and love they deserve. I love all animals whether they are furry, feathered, or scaly, and I understand they all come with their own unique personalities and needs. I will ensure your pet feels safe and loved in my care. *I am also DBS cleared and have my Canine First Aid certificate, for extra peace of mind.* I work just three days a week for a couple of hours cleaning, which means your dog will never be left alone for long periods. Outside of that, pet care is my main focus, so I’m able to provide plenty of time, attention, and companionship throughout the day. This allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and ensure your dog feels comfortable, cared for while you’re away. I have a large, fenced in garden, with a forest that lies out back. Perfect for little or large adventures. We have one other dog that has use of the garden but does not share the same living space. I can keep the dogs separate if needed or if your pup likes company I’m sure they will love our little girl.

Heather is absolutely fabulous, she visited for a meet and greet with us and instantly took to our dog Tilly. They went on their first walk together today, and It was also Tilly’s first time on the figure 8 harness, this didn’t phase Heather, I had walk updates and pictures, and Tilly came back happy and content. I would so recommend Heather.
