I look forward to hearing from you! Currently working part-time from home (design/printmaker), so I have plenty of moments during my day for connection and care. I have 1 daughter, so will be on school runs 8–8.15AM & 3.30–4PM, which your dogs are welcome to join me for (sometimes I run the route, if your dogs are athletic –aprx 3km). We have 2 resident mini sausage dogs, but prefer to keep them in their own part of the house if other dogs are much larger. I have a large, fenced garden for your friend to explore and run about in! The property is situated close to several lovely walking trails in fields and forests.

Whether your dog needs calm, patient company or an energetic companion for walks, I'll make sure they're happy, safe and well looked after. Your home will be treated with the same respect and care as my own. I'm currently on a career break from Finance so I can happily make time to spend with any dog in my care. My days are flexible, which means walks, feeding and any care routines can fit around what your dog is used to rather than what suits me; whether that's a long walk or a day lounging on the sofa in their safe space. Over many sits I've encountered all sorts of dogs and learned to read what each one needs. From small rescues who are usually nervous around men and just need time and calmness, to mischievous Spaniels who will seek out their favourite muddy puddle given half the chance. I take each dog's individual needs seriously, whether that's sticking to a familiar routine, administering medication, or simply knowing when to give a dog space and when they just want company. In a pet owner's home I treat everything with care and respect, and I'm always happy to follow whatever routines and house rules the owner has in place.

About: My Golden oldie loves a bit of canine company. She is happy to show company her favourite walks & sniffs as well as sharing her owners care & cuddles. We have experience with all sorts of wagging tails from poms to labs . We also have doggy cam to keep an eye on guests I’m now retired so can be around any time to look after your dog. I do like to go to gym/pool 3 mornings a week but am always back for lunchtime. I’m around all weekend apart from tennis Sunday morning. We walk every morning and evening with various routes across tracks & fields close by. My old Goldie is very easy going and will be excellent company for your pet. Our garden is fenced & secured with padlocked gates top & bottom so we can easily get out for “business “ safely. No dogs are allowed upstairs but otherwise have the downstairs space and plenty if room to be together or further apart if thats what they choose.

About: Hi, I'm Zy! (If you said my name right, it should rhyme with 'hi') I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I grew up with multiple dogs, including large and giant breeds, so I’m confident handling everything from energetic pups to calmer, more sensitive dogs. I’ve also regularly cared for dogs for friends and family—from small Maltipoos and Staffies to Spaniels and Retrievers—providing walks, daycare, and overnight stays. I’m comfortable adapting to different routines and personalities. My approach is calm, patient, and attentive. I focus on building trust, reading behaviour, and creating a safe, relaxed environment. Whether your dog needs long walks and playtime or slower strolls and quiet companionship, I’ll tailor their care to suit them (snuggles on the sofa are always welcome!) I don’t currently have any pets, which means your dog/s will have my full attention in a calm, one-on-one setting. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine and will always keep you updated for peace of mind. I am currently working part-time which means I have free days to spend playing with your pets, taking them for walks, snuggles and generally having a great time together. I'm typically available midweek onwards for daycare, walks, and boarding, with my calendar being regularly updated. Currently, I am limiting to 1 pet (from one family) at a time (if you have multiple pets from the same family I am open to caring for them at the same time), meaning your pet/s will have my undivided attention. I have a fully fenced farmland garden that can be fully seen from the living space. Open plan kitchen/living room so your fur baby (whether the purr or bark) will have more than enough room to roam around and play. I have access to a play pen too should you feel your pet would prefer this/ be more suitable. I have spare to be able to easily set up a crate if your pet needs this too. For walks while boarding, I'm very closely located to quiet public trails/ footpaths/ fields to allow for calm, regular walks - perfect for shy or slightly unpredictable doggies. For dog walking - I'm physically fit, attend the gym regularly, and have experience in walking my families giant dog (a Caucasian mountain dog - very large, very strong). Duration of walks required is open for discussion to best suit your dog :)

About: Hi, I'm Hannah - a freelance arts manager and pet sitter. I'm a huge animal lover, having owned and cared for over 30 pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, fish - and one slightly grumpy terrapin! My freelance work means I am very flexible and can be home for most of the day to keep your pet company. I've cared for animals of all sizes and dispositions from nervous kittens to excitable labradors and pets in my care get their walkies or play every day without fail, rain or shine, and all the care and attention they would be accustomed to with plenty of cuddles, brushing (if they like those things) and of course, approved treats. My family pets were often older rescues with difficult pasts and nervous when they first came to us, so I'm used to catering to those sorts of needs in an animal in terms of appropriate levels of exercise and handling, giving medication, providing lots of reassurance and affection and just letting them feel comfortable, safe and to get to you know you at their own pace. Puppies and kittens are no problem either though, and I'm happy to continue any training you may be doing with them. When visiting pets in their own homes my aim is to make them feel comfortable and secure, including having them sleep in with me if allowed, and will do either leashed walks or dog park visits - whatever they are used to. If I have another local dog walking appointment during my stay and your dog is good around other dogs, they will get to come along too and have bonus walkies! As I'm home the majority of the day, pee breaks can be regular and I'm happy to give medication, food and water etc. as needed, whether doing daily drop-ins or longer term housesitting. I have a very flexible schedule and fit in admin work from home around pet-sitting. Saturday late afternoons - evenings are my only inflexible time due to work commitments, but I am happy to take longer housesits incorporating a Saturday if the pet can be left for 6 hours or there is a temporary companion such as a family member or neighbour who can cover that time. When staying in an owner's home, I follow the pet's normal feeding and walking/playtime routine so that they feel safe and settled. I also maintain any house rules set by the owner (whether this is 'no pets on the furniture', or a requirement for the pet to sleep in my room). I minimise the need to be away from the house during the day (unless the pet is used to this and it's considered better for their routine to continue the pattern), and never leave a pet alone overnight.

About: I have extensive experience looking after family member's and friend's dogs and cats, and have had pet dogs for most of my life. I also have experience caring for a dog with strict medical requirements. I'm currently studying and work from home mostly so I have plenty of time to care for pets! I can be flexible with days and times so can work around requirements if needed. About: Ever since I was little, I've always loved pets. I've spent many hours and days looking after our friends dogs and cats - including house sitting, walks, daycare and check-ins. I would love a dog of my own in the future once more settled, but in the meantime, I would love the opportunity to care for others dogs and cats. If interested, I'm a semi-professional cyclist (and part-time marketer). I'm currently off training (cycling) for a month or two, and will be coming back into training very slowly, so have a lot more free time. I'm working part-time at home most days, with the odd Wednesday working from the office in London, allowing me to move around the local area looking after your pet(s) or having your pet(s) come to stay. Relatively relaxed and free, but there may be a few days or weekends I won't be able to do. I have a very large downstairs space which is neat, tidy with very little clutter, with a great playing field (and crop fields) behind the houses where lots of dog owners walk their dogs.

About: Pet Care Experience: My partner and I have extensive experience in veterinary care. I have worked as an emergency vet nursing assistant and student veterinary nurse, while my partner is a qualified veterinarian. We have encountered and worked with a wide variety of animals, and are adept at providing first aid if ever needed. While we love our current jobs, we are particularly passionate about working with animals and would like to extend this passion to our home life. In addition to our professional experience, we currently foster small breed dogs, including pugs, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Dachshunds, and others. We also have our own dog, a female pug named Olive, who was originally a foster dog but has become a permanent member of our family due to our deep affection for her. Therefore, any dogs that stay with us must be dog-friendly as Olive will be helping us insure you have a tired pooch. Schedule: I work part time as an evening vet nursing assistant at an emergency veterinary clinic on a one-week-on, one-week-off basis. During my week off, I provide doggy day care and boarding, which is already scheduled in my diary. My partner, who is a qualified veterinarian, works during the day at a veterinary clinic from Monday to Friday. We are open to caring for pets with medical needs, such as diabetes. Your furry friend will be treated with the same care and attention as our own pets. They will have free range of the house, including the bed, sofa, and garden. Our 4-bedroom home is just a 4-minute drive from the Cotswolds, providing plenty of opportunities for scenic walks. For less mobile dogs, there is a playing field a 9-minute walk (2-minute drive) from our house. We generally keep dogs on a leash for safety, however, we can accommodate off leash time in some enclosed dog-friendly fields nearby upon request.
