About: I have extensive hands-on experience working with dogs through my previous professional dog handling background, which has given me confidence in caring for a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I am comfortable looking after energetic puppies, larger breeds, and older dogs who may need a gentler pace and extra patience. What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give to every dog, I treat each one as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well looked after while in my care. I pride myself on being reliable, calm, and attentive to every pet’s individual needs. Due to Army commitments, my standard availability is weekends. However, with sufficient notice, I can often accommodate weekday bookings. My day typically starts early with a morning walk from 6:00am, followed by regular care and supervision throughout the day. Dogs in my care receive a lunchtime walk, an evening walk, and plenty of attention in between, with additional toilet breaks, garden time, and play sessions provided whenever needed. I tailor each dog’s routine to suit their individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, well-exercised, and cared for throughout their stay. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my priority. I live in an enclosed area with a small fenced garden for safe outdoor time and toilet breaks, and I also have easy access to the nearby old airfield for longer walks and exercise. Every dog in my care is treated like family and looked after in a safe, loving environment.
“Chiara was amazing with Bonnie! She sent us lots of pictures and updates. She also made sure Bonnie was not alone on New Year's as she is very scared of the fireworks. Highly recommend!”

“Keziah was great! kept me updated with photos and videos and let me know how he was and answered messages very quickly. Will definitely be happy to send my dog for a sleepover there again!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. Zy is welcoming, warm and we loved the regular updates. Whilst we had a mini family break our dog had his own holiday and had the best time with Zy. I would highly recommend her services and will definitely be booking again.”

“Rosy and Rich looked after our three dogs—two labradors and a springer spaniel—for just over a week while we were away. Each of our dogs has their own unique personality, and they were all cared for perfectly. We came home to happy, relaxed, and content pups 😊 Communication has been excellent from start to finish—from the initial meeting and booking process to the time the dogs spent with them. Rosy and Rich are wonderful dog sitters who I’d highly recommend and will definitely use again. Thank you both so much!”

“We felt immediately at ease leaving Tess with George and we were kept updated later in the day that she had settled well and that was good to hear as we hadnt left her with anyone other than family I would recommend George and definitely will be happy to use again .”

“Jane is a wonderful dog sitter. My dog, Cider, had the best time staying with her and was spoilt rotten with love, attention and lots of lovely walks. She sent lots of updates and really put my mind at ease that Cider was enjoying his own little holiday. Thanks so much Jane, couldn't recommend you enough!”

About: I have always grown up around cats and been a part of a ‘cat family’. As we know cats all have very different personalities and I’ve been around many of them; friendly cats who crave affection and more independence cats that want love from a distance! Cats have an independent nature so caring for them has always come with ease but not without teething issues! I’m confident with holding and securing cats (at the vets or if there are other animals around) whilst also giving space when needed and love when wanted.
“Alycia is amazing - Luna loved her - what else can I say. You can tell Alycia really loves animals and is passionate about her work. She is kind, professional and I’d recommend her to anyone.”

About: Pets have been a part of my family my entire life, I have owned various dog and cat breeds and I understand their quirks and loving characters. They will be treated with the respect they deserve I currently run my own photography business so have total control over my flexibility with work hours which means I can work around most people’s schedules. I look after pets in the comfort of their own home. When out on dog walks they will remain on lead for safety but can go on a long line for ultimate freedom. Off lead walking can be discussed
About: I have extensive experience looking after family member's and friend's dogs and cats, and have had pet dogs for most of my life. I also have experience caring for a dog with strict medical requirements. I'm currently studying and work from home mostly so I have plenty of time to care for pets! I can be flexible with days and times so can work around requirements if needed. I have great experience following a variety of different requirements for pet care, and can equally be flexible and work with a pet's current needs and requirements.
About: I’ve been dog sitting for a few years now and had dogs all my life. Having grown up around Dobermans & Dalmatian’s, from a young age I’ve always been completely obsessed with dogs (any size!) as I’ve grown older my love for them has only grown. I had some great experience in 2024 volunteering at a dog rescue in Malaysia. For over a month my partner and I helped to care for abused, injured and neglected dogs. I learnt to administer vaccinations, how to perform hydrotherapy on injured dogs, and to help abused and anxious dogs regain trust. It was the highlight of our Asia trip! Please feel free to drop me a message, always up for a meet and great 😊 I have a flexible job which means I have plenty of time to give your pets the walks, love, and attention they need! Got experience walking dogs so can handle big or small dogs 😊 With my background and passion for dogs, I’m dedicated to making sure they feel safe and loved. I have grown up with dogs so know how to care and keep them all happy 😃 You’ll have plenty of Pupdates as well!

About: Hi, I'm Hannah - a freelance arts manager and pet sitter. I'm a huge animal lover, having owned and cared for over 30 pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, fish - and one slightly grumpy terrapin! My freelance work means I am very flexible and can be home for most of the day to keep your pet company. I've cared for animals of all sizes and dispositions from nervous kittens to excitable labradors and pets in my care get their walkies or play every day without fail, rain or shine, and all the care and attention they would be accustomed to with plenty of cuddles, brushing (if they like those things) and of course, approved treats. My family pets were often older rescues with difficult pasts and nervous when they first came to us, so I'm used to catering to those sorts of needs in an animal in terms of appropriate levels of exercise and handling, giving medication, providing lots of reassurance and affection and just letting them feel comfortable, safe and to get to you know you at their own pace. Puppies and kittens are no problem either though, and I'm happy to continue any training you may be doing with them. When visiting pets in their own homes my aim is to make them feel comfortable and secure, including having them sleep in with me if allowed, and will do either leashed walks or dog park visits - whatever they are used to. If I have another local dog walking appointment during my stay and your dog is good around other dogs, they will get to come along too and have bonus walkies! As I'm home the majority of the day, pee breaks can be regular and I'm happy to give medication, food and water etc. as needed, whether doing daily drop-ins or longer term housesitting. I have a very flexible schedule and fit in admin work from home around pet-sitting. Saturday late afternoons - evenings are my only inflexible time due to work commitments, but I am happy to take longer housesits incorporating a Saturday if the pet can be left for 6 hours or there is a temporary companion such as a family member or neighbour who can cover that time. When staying in an owner's home, I follow the pet's normal feeding and walking/playtime routine so that they feel safe and settled. I also maintain any house rules set by the owner (whether this is 'no pets on the furniture', or a requirement for the pet to sleep in my room). I minimise the need to be away from the house during the day (unless the pet is used to this and it's considered better for their routine to continue the pattern), and never leave a pet alone overnight.

About: I love cats of all kinds. I may not have professional cat sitting experience but I have always had cats in the home growning up and even as an adult until recent years. Whether your cat is looking for fuss and somwone to play with or if they just need to know someone's home to relax, I've got you covered!
About: I’ve grown up around animals and have many years experience caring for them. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily and weekly routine as I work from home which allows me to give your pet lots of attention, cuddles, playtime, and long walks. I have had lots of experience caring for animals. Myself and my partner recently spent over a month at a dog & cat sanctuary in Malaysia whilst travelling where we learnt how to provide extensive care to rescued, abused, and disabled dogs/cats. We were trained in basic care/training, hydrotherapy, administering medicines including injections and also how to understand animal behaviours and care for anxious/scared animals. We enjoyed every moment of our time spent with the most precious dogs and come away having learnt so much and having even more love for dogs then we even thought was possible! I love all dogs, any size. We have a beautiful, loving Doberman named Zeus, who loves long walks, lots of cuddles and also meeting new friends whether it’s to stay, play or relax together. I am happy to offer a meet and greet session to ensure compatibility and that your dog is comfortable and happy around me. I will also provide regular updates with photos and videos of your dog/s having lots of fun. I look forward to meeting your furry friend! I work from home full time meaning I can work from anywhere and have plenty of time for walks, cuddles and playtime. I have a quiet home that has a large fully enclosed garden for the dogs to run around and are surrounded by bridle paths for enjoyable walks for your dogs. We have a long fully fenced garden for your pet to play in and they will never be left alone. I will also give you regular updates of the fun they are having whilst at our home. I am able to give them long regular walks and ensure they are happy, safe and comfortable.

About: I have several years of professional house and pet sitting experience, built up through Trusted Housesitters, where I've earned over 30 five-star reviews. Over that time I've cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments — from small, anxious dogs who need gentle handling and regular medication, to big softies who just need reassurance during thunderstorms. I'm comfortable adapting to each dog's routine and personality, and I know how important it is for owners to feel genuinely at ease when they're away. Whether your dog needs calm, patient company or an energetic companion for walks, I'll make sure they're happy, safe and well looked after. Your home will be treated with the same respect and care as my own. I'm currently on a career break from Finance so I can happily make time to spend with any dog in my care. My days are flexible, which means walks, feeding and any care routines can fit around what your dog is used to rather than what suits me; whether that's a long walk or a day lounging on the sofa in their safe space. Over many sits I've encountered all sorts of dogs and learned to read what each one needs. From small rescues who are usually nervous around men and just need time and calmness, to mischievous Spaniels who will seek out their favourite muddy puddle given half the chance. I take each dog's individual needs seriously, whether that's sticking to a familiar routine, administering medication, or simply knowing when to give a dog space and when they just want company. In a pet owner's home I treat everything with care and respect, and I'm always happy to follow whatever routines and house rules the owner has in place.

About: 20 years of experience raising and caring for animals at home (cocker spaniel, dachshund, border-collie, maine-coone) Deeply empathetic, considerate and gentle, I'm happy to accommodate any special care requests you require. I look forward to hearing from you! Currently working part-time from home (design/printmaker), so I have plenty of moments during my day for connection and care. I have 1 daughter, so will be on school runs 8–8.15AM & 3.30–4PM, which your dogs are welcome to join me for (sometimes I run the route, if your dogs are athletic –aprx 3km). We have 2 resident mini sausage dogs, but prefer to keep them in their own part of the house if other dogs are much larger. I have a large, fenced garden for your friend to explore and run about in! The property is situated close to several lovely walking trails in fields and forests.
About: My husband I have always loved dogs and had them in our lives since childhood. We are early retirees and able to offer outstanding care for your beloved pet/s. Our own beloved family member, Alfie, a Cocker Spaniel died in 2018 and we have since then lavished all our love on our granddog Duke, a Golden retriever, who lives in LA, whom we have helped raise since he was a puppy. We are early retirees and when not travelling, are able to offer 5 star care for your dog/s in our home, which is a good size, clean and very safe. We are both young, mid 50's and very active with access to walks around the lovely countryside in Bocking, Braintree. Having been on Rover for nearly a year and with a bit more experience, we offer a high quality service limited to just one dog at a time, or two dogs from the same family. We will not mix your dogs with any other dog, at any time during the stay. We wish to provide the best care possible and for us, we realise it's best if we concentrate on a single dog, or a pair of dogs, from the same family to maximise, safety, care and attention on your beloved pet/s. We are recently retired and therefore able to prove maximum time and attention to any Dog that stays in our home with us. We are also able to visit your home for walks or drop-ins. We have a fenced in garden, which is dog friendly and safe. We have a spacious home, very safe and clean and a perfect loving environment for your pet. We live very close to the Fennes, giving us the best walks in Essex, perfect for us to exercise ourselves and your pet. We are both mature and responsible adults with lots of time on our hands. We are only looking to look after a maximum of one dog, or two dogs from the same home, at any one time, as we are looking to provide high quality and maximum attention to a small number of dogs, so we can enjoy the experience of having dogs, rather than providing care for financial reward alone.
About: I have a 4.5-year-old miniature long-haired Dachshund, so I understand first-hand how important it is to have someone trustworthy and caring looking after your pet. I’ve loved dogs and cats from a young age and have always been surrounded by animals throughout my life. I’m a big animal lover and a strong advocate for animal welfare, and I treat every pet as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for at all times. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine as I work from home in a corporate role. This gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day, so I’m able to accommodate drop-in visits, walks, and feeding schedules with ease. I can step away from my desk as needed to make sure pets are checked on, cared for, and given attention at consistent times. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m also able to provide a reassuring level of presence and reliability, rather than being tied to fixed office hours. I’m well organised with my workload, which allows me to plan visits around my schedule and be responsive to each pet’s needs. I also offer dog boarding services in my own home at your request. I provide a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for pets in my home. I have a large fenced garden with plenty of space for dogs to play, run around, and enjoy outdoor time safely. At home, I have one friendly miniature long-haired Dachshund who is very sociable and loving, and can provide company for visiting pets if suitable. However, I’m also happy to keep pets separated if preferred or if they need their own space to feel comfortable. I have a crate available if requested, along with extra dog beds, toys, bowls, and treats to make sure visiting pets feel settled and cared for. My priority is always to make each pet feel safe, relaxed, and at home, while following their usual routine as closely as possible.
“Heather came to the rescue for us again as we booked something last minute. Òrla loves her time with Heather and Olly. Heather regularly updates us and it looks like Òrla is always having a great time!”

“I needed a dog sitter for Kai at very short notice and was very nervous as I’ve not had to leave my dog with a sitter before. ZsuzsAnna’s was extremely friendly and so accommodating with meeting with us last minute! She was extremely lovely and supportive and Kai was instantly drawn to her and her dog Boo-Boo. Kai was very happy to be in ZsuzsAnna and Boo-Boos company and had so much fun which made me feel so relieved. I cannot thank and recommend ZsuzsAnna enough!!! She is a star!”

About: I have years of experience looking after pets of friends, my own, and through word of mouth I have house sat for many others. I have looked after and helped train dogs of varying ages including those with challenging behaviour. I have developed a good understanding of canine behaviour in this time and I ensure every dog in my care receives the attention, patience, and love they deserve. I love all animals whether they are furry, feathered, or scaly, and I understand they all come with their own unique personalities and needs. I will ensure your pet feels safe and loved in my care. *I am also DBS cleared and have my Canine First Aid certificate, for extra peace of mind.* I work just three days a week for a couple of hours cleaning, which means your dog will never be left alone for long periods. Outside of that, pet care is my main focus, so I’m able to provide plenty of time, attention, and companionship throughout the day. This allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and ensure your dog feels comfortable, cared for while you’re away. I have a large, fenced in garden, with a forest that lies out back. Perfect for little or large adventures. We have one other dog that has use of the garden but does not share the same living space. I can keep the dogs separate if needed or if your pup likes company I’m sure they will love our little girl.

About: We have an indoor cat (eight) and a Labrador (two) so have reasonable experience. We spend a lot of time with the pets, playing, training and instilling good habits. Our house is fairly pet proofed with stair gates to give the cat his own space away from the dog and minimal clutter to remove temptation for the dog to eat things she shouldn’t. We both work full time but there is someone home at least 4 days out of 5. We take our lab out twice a day, wind, rain or shine for approx 45 minutes each time. Our house is reasonably dog friendly with minimal clutter and stair gates to give the cat some personal space. We have a medium sized, fenced garden for plenty of play time in between walks.

No dogs are allowed upstairs but otherwise have the downstairs space and plenty if room to be together or further apart if thats what they choose.
About: Hi, I'm Zy! (If you said my name right, it should rhyme with 'hi') I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I grew up with multiple dogs, including large and giant breeds, so I’m confident handling everything from energetic pups to calmer, more sensitive dogs. I’ve also regularly cared for dogs for friends and family—from small Maltipoos and Staffies to Spaniels and Retrievers—providing walks, daycare, and overnight stays. I’m comfortable adapting to different routines and personalities. My approach is calm, patient, and attentive. I focus on building trust, reading behaviour, and creating a safe, relaxed environment. Whether your dog needs long walks and playtime or slower strolls and quiet companionship, I’ll tailor their care to suit them (snuggles on the sofa are always welcome!) I don’t currently have any pets, which means your dog/s will have my full attention in a calm, one-on-one setting. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine and will always keep you updated for peace of mind. I am currently working part-time which means I have free days to spend playing with your pets, taking them for walks, snuggles and generally having a great time together. I'm typically available midweek onwards for daycare, walks, and boarding, with my calendar being regularly updated. Currently, I am limiting to 1 pet (from one family) at a time (if you have multiple pets from the same family I am open to caring for them at the same time), meaning your pet/s will have my undivided attention. I have a fully fenced farmland garden that can be fully seen from the living space. Open plan kitchen/living room so your fur baby (whether the purr or bark) will have more than enough room to roam around and play. I have access to a play pen too should you feel your pet would prefer this/ be more suitable. I have spare to be able to easily set up a crate if your pet needs this too. For walks while boarding, I'm very closely located to quiet public trails/ footpaths/ fields to allow for calm, regular walks - perfect for shy or slightly unpredictable doggies. For dog walking - I'm physically fit, attend the gym regularly, and have experience in walking my families giant dog (a Caucasian mountain dog - very large, very strong). Duration of walks required is open for discussion to best suit your dog :)

About: I am fully qualified in equine and animal care, nutrition and Psychology including first aid in puppies, I am also trained by peddymark in microchipping as well as qualified in canine Fertility. I have been looking after dogs, cats, horses and other small animals for more than a decade now and love meeting and working with new animals. I enjoy the freedom and adventures when out walking as well as the unconditional love a happy animal can give you. I specialise in French and English Bulldogs but am able to offer my experience to any animal that needs my fuzz. I run perfect little paws so my whole existence revolves around animals. I am available early morning to late evening and around the clock if needed. Animals really do come first in my life Unfortunately due to my pack of 6 dogs and 1 cat at home I am unable to offer home care at my house but I offer pet/house sitting within your own home as well as walking and let out service. I believe each client and there animals needs are different so always go through requirements at our meet and greet prior to any arrangement, so I can offer a bespoke service to your exact requirements. I will always offer the best and most suitable advice on what would suit your pets needs.

About: Ever since I was little, I've always loved pets. I've spent many hours and days looking after our friends dogs and cats - including house sitting, walks, daycare and check-ins. I would love a dog of my own in the future once more settled, but in the meantime, I would love the opportunity to care for others dogs and cats. If interested, I'm a semi-professional cyclist (and part-time marketer). I'm currently off training (cycling) for a month or two, and will be coming back into training very slowly, so have a lot more free time. I'm working part-time at home most days, with the odd Wednesday working from the office in London, allowing me to move around the local area looking after your pet(s) or having your pet(s) come to stay. Relatively relaxed and free, but there may be a few days or weekends I won't be able to do. I have a very large downstairs space which is neat, tidy with very little clutter, with a great playing field (and crop fields) behind the houses where lots of dog owners walk their dogs.
About: My family and I have had and taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I love all animals and want to make sure they are happy and safe at all times. I was raised with police dogs and now have two little ones of my own, Bonnie and Chester. We couldn't imagine our home without them, they are part of the family. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and we are happy to accommodate whatever you dog needs. I am available at all times, including weekends or holidays for whatever service you require. We can host multiple dogs in our house at the same time and deliver whatever needs and expectations you have for your pet. At our home we have a fenced garden and lots of places to roam within the house. Pets are allowed on the furniture and beds. I want them to feel as if they were at home. I have two Yorkshire terriers, Bonnie and Chester. Chester loves other dogs and wants to be friends with everyone, Bonnie is more reserved and can be quite nervous at times but adapts quickly. I am easily able to keep all dogs separate if requested. In our house we are always playing or having cuddles with our dogs, we love taking them for long walks and giving them the exercise they need.
About: Can also cover Braintree/Colchester area - I’ve grown up with and taken care of cats and dogs since a young girl. We have always had 2 dogs, first being a Jack Russell and a Staff. I cared for our beautiful dog Ralf (staff) alone every single day during covid whilst family were out working. We now have 2 crazy but wonderful French Bulldogs which I also help to care for, so I have never not been around animals! Every year for the past 3 years I have taken care of a family friend and work colleagues cats whilst they have been on holiday. This was overnight stays in their home which always proves trustworthy. I currently have a full time job Mon - Fri however 3 days per week (Tues, Weds and Thurs) I work from home. So I can easily take some time to come out and help with your pets. I can also be available on weekends with some notice. Our French Bulldogs do suffer from separation anxiety, so I have taken special measures before to help them feel at ease. A crate was used specifically for this so I had no issue putting the dogs in there. They also have sensitive stomachs so have to be fed and watered in small amounts throughout the day so I am organised. Even small touches like leaving the radio on for them to calm their nerves.
“Sonny was all tail wags after his walk with Sarah! She was prompt, friendly, and professional from start to finish. Sonny took to her immediately and couldn’t wait to head out again—which says everything. It’s such a comfort knowing he’s in caring, capable hands. We’ll definitely be booking with Sarah again.”

About: Pet Care Experience: My partner and I have extensive experience in veterinary care. I have worked as an emergency vet nursing assistant and student veterinary nurse, while my partner is a qualified veterinarian. We have encountered and worked with a wide variety of animals, and are adept at providing first aid if ever needed. While we love our current jobs, we are particularly passionate about working with animals and would like to extend this passion to our home life. In addition to our professional experience, we currently foster small breed dogs, including pugs, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Dachshunds, and others. We also have our own dog, a female pug named Olive, who was originally a foster dog but has become a permanent member of our family due to our deep affection for her. Therefore, any dogs that stay with us must be dog-friendly as Olive will be helping us insure you have a tired pooch. Schedule: I work part time as an evening vet nursing assistant at an emergency veterinary clinic on a one-week-on, one-week-off basis. During my week off, I provide doggy day care and boarding, which is already scheduled in my diary. My partner, who is a qualified veterinarian, works during the day at a veterinary clinic from Monday to Friday. We are open to caring for pets with medical needs, such as diabetes. Your furry friend will be treated with the same care and attention as our own pets. They will have free range of the house, including the bed, sofa, and garden. Our 4-bedroom home is just a 4-minute drive from the Cotswolds, providing plenty of opportunities for scenic walks. For less mobile dogs, there is a playing field a 9-minute walk (2-minute drive) from our house. We generally keep dogs on a leash for safety, however, we can accommodate off leash time in some enclosed dog-friendly fields nearby upon request.
