Over that time I've cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments — from small, anxious dogs who need gentle handling and regular medication, to big softies who just need reassurance during thunderstorms. I'm comfortable adapting to each dog's routine and personality, and I know how important it is for owners to feel genuinely at ease when they're away. Whether your dog needs calm, patient company or an energetic companion for walks, I'll make sure they're happy, safe and well looked after. Your home will be treated with the same respect and care as my own. I'm currently on a career break from Finance so I can happily make time to spend with any dog in my care. My days are flexible, which means walks, feeding and any care routines can fit around what your dog is used to rather than what suits me; whether that's a long walk or a day lounging on the sofa in their safe space. Over many sits I've encountered all sorts of dogs and learned to read what each one needs. From small rescues who are usually nervous around men and just need time and calmness, to mischievous Spaniels who will seek out their favourite muddy puddle given half the chance. I take each dog's individual needs seriously, whether that's sticking to a familiar routine, administering medication, or simply knowing when to give a dog space and when they just want company. In a pet owner's home I treat everything with care and respect, and I'm always happy to follow whatever routines and house rules the owner has in place.

About: My Golden oldie loves a bit of canine company. She is happy to show company her favourite walks & sniffs as well as sharing her owners care & cuddles. We have experience with all sorts of wagging tails from poms to labs . We also have doggy cam to keep an eye on guests I’m now retired so can be around any time to look after your dog. I do like to go to gym/pool 3 mornings a week but am always back for lunchtime. I’m around all weekend apart from tennis Sunday morning. We walk every morning and evening with various routes across tracks & fields close by. My old Goldie is very easy going and will be excellent company for your pet. Our garden is fenced & secured with padlocked gates top & bottom so we can easily get out for “business “ safely. No dogs are allowed upstairs but otherwise have the downstairs space and plenty if room to be together or further apart if thats what they choose.

I have owned my energetic female Vizsla for the past 8 years, so I'm very familiar with the needs of active, intelligent dogs with big personalities! I live in a beautiful rural area just outside Felsted, conveniently located near Chelmsford, Braintree and Great Dunmow. Being surrounded by countryside means I have plenty of experience walking dogs in a variety of outdoor settings. For this reason, I prefer on lead walking, whether using a short lead or a longer training lead, depending on your dog's needs and your preferences. I have a flexible schedule and can provide short-term pet care services, including dog walks, drop-in visits and day sitting, Monday to Saturday between 8am and 10pm. For overnight or extended bookings, I kindly ask for at least 3 days' notice wherever possible. I'm happy to discuss your individual requirements and accommodate regular or recurring bookings. I am happy to provide pet care within your home and in local areas for walking services. For owners who prefer, I can also transport dogs in my car to quieter countryside locations for rural walks and enrichment. At present, I do not offer boarding or pet care from my own home. I am most confident caring for small to medium-sized dogs that are friendly, well-socialised and comfortable around people. I am experienced in administering medications, following feeding routines and adapting to any specific medical, mobility or comfort requirements your pet may have. I understand that every animal is unique and will always aim to provide attentive, compassionate care tailored to their individual needs and routine.

About: Pets have been a part of my family my entire life, I have owned various dog and cat breeds and I understand their quirks and loving characters. They will be treated with the respect they deserve I currently run my own photography business so have total control over my flexibility with work hours which means I can work around most people’s schedules. I was raised with police dogs and now have two little ones of my own, Bonnie and Chester. We couldn't imagine our home without them, they are part of the family. At our home we have a fenced garden and lots of places to roam within the house. Pets are allowed on the furniture and beds. I want them to feel as if they were at home. I have two Yorkshire terriers, Bonnie and Chester. Chester loves other dogs and wants to be friends with everyone, Bonnie is more reserved and can be quite nervous at times but adapts quickly. I am easily able to keep all dogs separate if requested. In our house we are always playing or having cuddles with our dogs, we love taking them for long walks and giving them the exercise they need.

Having grown up around Dobermans & Dalmatian’s, from a young age I’ve always been completely obsessed with dogs (any size!) as I’ve grown older my love for them has only grown. About: Hi, I'm Hannah - a freelance arts manager and pet sitter. I'm a huge animal lover, having owned and cared for over 30 pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, fish - and one slightly grumpy terrapin! My freelance work means I am very flexible and can be home for most of the day to keep your pet company. I've cared for animals of all sizes and dispositions from nervous kittens to excitable labradors and pets in my care get their walkies or play every day without fail, rain or shine, and all the care and attention they would be accustomed to with plenty of cuddles, brushing (if they like those things) and of course, approved treats. My family pets were often older rescues with difficult pasts and nervous when they first came to us, so I'm used to catering to those sorts of needs in an animal in terms of appropriate levels of exercise and handling, giving medication, providing lots of reassurance and affection and just letting them feel comfortable, safe and to get to you know you at their own pace. Puppies and kittens are no problem either though, and I'm happy to continue any training you may be doing with them. When visiting pets in their own homes my aim is to make them feel comfortable and secure, including having them sleep in with me if allowed, and will do either leashed walks or dog park visits - whatever they are used to. If I have another local dog walking appointment during my stay and your dog is good around other dogs, they will get to come along too and have bonus walkies! As I'm home the majority of the day, pee breaks can be regular and I'm happy to give medication, food and water etc. as needed, whether doing daily drop-ins or longer term housesitting. I have a very flexible schedule and fit in admin work from home around pet-sitting. Saturday late afternoons - evenings are my only inflexible time due to work commitments, but I am happy to take longer housesits incorporating a Saturday if the pet can be left for 6 hours or there is a temporary companion such as a family member or neighbour who can cover that time. When staying in an owner's home, I follow the pet's normal feeding and walking/playtime routine so that they feel safe and settled. I also maintain any house rules set by the owner (whether this is 'no pets on the furniture', or a requirement for the pet to sleep in my room). I minimise the need to be away from the house during the day (unless the pet is used to this and it's considered better for their routine to continue the pattern), and never leave a pet alone overnight.

About: Any pet in my care is always treated with the love and attention as if it were my own. I have a love of animals and have always had them in the home from a very young age. I've had experience walking both larger and smaller dogs and have had to train them through the difficult "puppy phase", giving me a good sense of how best to deal with tricky situations Im not able to have a pet of my own at the moment, so when I am able to, I love to spend time looking after other people's furbabies to give them the extra bit of love they all deserve. As I will be in your pets own environment, I would be keeping them safe whilst they enjoy their own comforts.
