When we first adopted her she was incredibly nervous on walks. Overtime, through kindness, patience and dedication, I slowly built her confidence with walks and socialisation- now she can't wait to get her lead on! About: Hello, I’m Katie, and I understand how important it is to find the right person to care for your dog, so you can have real peace of mind while you’re away. I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have two of my own, a chocolate Labrador and a Border Terrier, so I’m very used to different personalities and needs. My Border Terrier can be anxious in unfamiliar environments, which has given me a good understanding of how to support dogs who need a bit more patience and reassurance. I’ve also cared for dogs for friends and family, including day care and holiday stays, and I’m comfortable supporting dogs with additional needs such as medication or minor care. My days follow a calm, consistent routine that balances activity and rest. Dogs in my care are included alongside my own, with regular outdoor time, play and countryside walks suited to their energy levels. There’s always time to relax as well, so dogs can settle into a comfortable, low-stress environment. I adapt the day to suit each dog, whether they prefer to be active and social or enjoy a quieter pace. Care is provided exclusively in my home, creating a safe, calm and personalised “home-from-home” environment. Dogs will have access to both the family space as well as a dedicated annex for cosy comfort, rest and quiet time, along with about 2 acres of fully secure outdoor lawn and woodland space for safe roaming, play and exploration. For everyone’s safety, I require a meet-and-greet in advance to ensure dogs are happy in the environment and get along well with my two dogs. I’m only able to accept dogs that are friendly and well socialised, and am happy to accommodate exclusive bookings upon request. I can also provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident your dog is happy, settled and well cared for.

For 13 wonderful years, I was blessed to share my life with my beautiful Cavapoo, Colby. He was my constant companion, my best friend and I will always feel incredibly honoured that he chose me every day. They're both very layed back and love other other dogs and animals and will welcome your fur-babies in to our home. I prefer that we have a trial night at our 18th century cottage in Bulmer, Sudbury, Suffolk before their main stay with us, this will allow them to get used to us in a new environment for them before they have their main stay in our home. About: Hi, I’m Danielle! I had my gorgeous French Bulldog for 9.5 years, so I have lots of first-hand experience with the extra care and attention brachycephalic breeds can need. I’ve also previously pet-sat alongside my flatmate, caring for dogs with different personalities and routines. I work part-time from home and live with my mum and brother, so I’m home most of the time and can offer plenty of company, cuddles and supervision. I know every dog has their own little routine, personality and quirks — and I’ll genuinely listen to you about yours! No instruction is too weird or overly specific. If your dog likes something done a particular way, that’s how I’ll do it. 🤍 I’m particularly confident with Frenchies and other brachy breeds, including being mindful of breathing, temperature, exercise, feeding and knowing when something doesn’t seem quite right. I also know how nerve-racking it can be leaving your dog with somebody else, so you can expect regular communication, photos and little check-ins while they’re with me. 🐶📸 I work part-time from home and, due to living with an autoimmune illness, I naturally spend a lot of my time at home, so your dog will have plenty of company and rarely be left alone. 🤍 On weekdays I enjoy two gentle local walks each day, with lots of time at home for garden breaks, cuddles, play and relaxing together. At weekends, my mum, brother and I often enjoy little trips to a garden centre, coffee shop, park or occasionally the beach, and I’d be very happy for your dog to join us if that’s something they enjoy too! Everything will always be adapted to your dog’s usual routine, age and needs — particularly with brachycephalic breeds. Walks and outings will be adjusted or avoided during hot weather, and I’m very mindful of temperature and breathing. My home is very dog-friendly, with a completely secure fenced garden, gates on doors/stairs where needed, and plenty of cosy places to relax. I also have steps for getting on and off the sofa and a dog buggy available for dogs with IVDD, back problems or limited mobility. My main approach is to make their stay feel as much like home as possible. I’ll follow your dog’s normal routine, feeding times, sleeping arrangements, medication and house rules — even the little quirks that might sound silly to anyone else! If they’re crate-trained, I’m happy to use their crate, and if they’re used to sleeping in bed with someone, they’re welcome to do that too. 🤍 Safety is really important to me. Dogs will always be kept on lead outside of secure areas, I’m cautious around unfamiliar dogs, and I’m particularly attentive to any existing health conditions or changes in behaviour, breathing, eating or general wellbeing. If anything concerns me, however small, I’ll contact you straight away rather than assuming it’s nothing. I’ll also keep you updated as much or as little as you’d like, with regular photos, messages and check-ins so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, settled and being very well looked after. 🐾
