About: I have cared for our own golden retriever, Oakley, with my wife for the last 3 years, as well as caring for her childhood shitzu for many years previous. I am a devoted father to our little girl, whose life I have seen enhanced already by having Oakley in our lives. I hope to share my love of dogs and the outdoors with your furry friend on walks and visits! As a shift worker, I am able to dedicate the time I am available on days off to caring for your furry friend, be it on walks tailored to your wishes, or drop in visits. We have a large fenced garden for daytime entertainment, and vast open space just out of our back garden for long walks with your pooch when with us. On drop in visits and walks from your home, I will ensure I follow all instructions given by you to ensure your pets safety when with me.

About: I've had all sorts of pets since I was a small child and looked after my family dog until I moved out of home. I regularly looked after my sister reactive chow chow and worked with him on lead training and basic commands to correct his aggressive and possessive behaviour I work part time. I clean on Monday, and work in a salon Thursday and Friday but I'm never out the house for more than four hours. I do occasionally do nail clients from home as well. Our weekends involve going on walks and seeing friends. I have a fenced in garden and plenty of walks and dog fields around to give your dog varied exercise. I keep dogs out of our room but they have free range of the lounge and kitchen. Happy to create your dog if that makes you comfortable

We live in a 3 bedroom house on a quiet dead-end close, and have a secure fenced garden that your dog would have access to whenever they'd like, whether it's a quick toilet break, a run around with my doggo, or a snooze in the sun spots. We can only take houseguests that are friendly and well-socialised with other dogs due to Rico being quite playful, and they must also be good with children, as my partner has an 8 year old daughter who stays with us 50% of the week. She is very loving and gentle with animals, and used to the company of big dogs, but its really important that any pets we take in have a good temperament and no history of aggression. I can also cater to any specific diets, schedules or administering oral medicines - for overnight stays I just ask that you provide their usual food to keep things consistent and comfortable while they're away from home, and you're welcome to bring anything that might give them xtra comfort if needs be 💝 For added peace of mind all-round, dogs need to be microchipped and come with their collar and ID tag please. About: My husband I have always loved dogs and had them in our lives since childhood. We are early retirees and able to offer outstanding care for your beloved pet/s. Our own beloved family member, Alfie, a Cocker Spaniel died in 2018 and we have since then lavished all our love on our granddog Duke, a Golden retriever, who lives in LA, whom we have helped raise since he was a puppy. We are early retirees and when not travelling, are able to offer 5 star care for your dog/s in our home, which is a good size, clean and very safe. We are both young, mid 50's and very active with access to walks around the lovely countryside in Bocking, Braintree. Having been on Rover for nearly a year and with a bit more experience, we offer a high quality service limited to just one dog at a time, or two dogs from the same family. We will not mix your dogs with any other dog, at any time during the stay. We wish to provide the best care possible and for us, we realise it's best if we concentrate on a single dog, or a pair of dogs, from the same family to maximise, safety, care and attention on your beloved pet/s. We are recently retired and therefore able to prove maximum time and attention to any Dog that stays in our home with us. We are also able to visit your home for walks or drop-ins. We have a fenced in garden, which is dog friendly and safe. We have a spacious home, very safe and clean and a perfect loving environment for your pet. We live very close to the Fennes, giving us the best walks in Essex, perfect for us to exercise ourselves and your pet. We are both mature and responsible adults with lots of time on our hands. We are only looking to look after a maximum of one dog, or two dogs from the same home, at any one time, as we are looking to provide high quality and maximum attention to a small number of dogs, so we can enjoy the experience of having dogs, rather than providing care for financial reward alone.

I've had rescued dogs, birds, turtles, hamsters, rabbits and I currently have 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs, a puppy and tropical fish. I provide home visits and I will make sure your pet is my number 1 priority and will treat them like I treat my own. I'm able to feed them, brush them, play with them and send you daily pictures and updates for your peace of mind. I can also water your plants if needed. I live near a big park (Blackwater) so it's ideal for walks or I can walk around your area too. Before Rover I have regularly helped pet/house sit dogs/cats for family/friends. I have a calm presence animals seem to like. 'Home from home' experience guaranteed! LICENCE NUMBER AAL/155 Your dog is welcome to come and stay with myself and my partner, Nick as well as our lovely rescue dog, Ada. I work from home some days but there is always someone at home. Nick takes Ada for an early morning walk before he goes to work and your dog can come to. Then we have evening walkies each eve over the fields opposite our house. Lunch time walkies may also be added. Weekends we like to visit dog friendly venues or sometimes book an enclosed field/wood for safe off lead fun. Ada is a sensitive soul but we call her the 'supervisor' as she generally hangs out and watches over what guest dogs are up to. She can sometimes be playful but she being quite low energy she is also happy to lay about (and snooze). I have a 'higher standards' 4 star council licence rating (you won't find many on Rover who can say that!). My rates may seem slightly more than others on Rover but this is because I need to consider tax, insurance, licence fees and paying for things like vet approved disinfectant to keep your dog safe as well as my ongoing training. I am fully insured for boarding, sitting, transportation as well as basic grooming. I collaborate with Betty and berties groomers and can transport your dog here for a groom whilst you have your holiday I have a certificate in dog first aid, safety and basic grooming. I regular update my canine CPD. I am aiming to complete a canine behaviour course by the end of the year but have good knowledge of dogs especially owning a rescue. I would always keep a close eye on your animal whilst they are in my care. Being a nurse & counsellor, I am very observant and vigilant to your dogs emotions and of course am trusting. I provide a 'care plan' for every dog monitoring their diet/fluid intake, toileting, behaviours, enrichment. I am able to give tablets or creams meds as needed. I have vast human dementia experience so feel I could manage confused pooches too. I'll carefully follow any instructions you leave me re diet etc. Ada is better chicken free so I understand the importance of allergies. An enhanced DBS certificate is available on request. If I needed to leave your dog at home (quite rare), I use a camera in the kitchen to keep monitoring for any significant agitation and leave the radio on the drown out some outside sounds. I tend to leave radio 2 overnight downstairs to help dogs settle to. I am happy to keep up with any training your dog needs especially if they are young.

About: I’ve been around dogs from the age of 4. We have always had dogs within our family and in our homes.we’ve got many years of experience looking after family/friends dogs. We had our own up until around may 2026, when our beloved family staffy passed away at aged 15! I currently work 9am-5pm, and am available for boarding 7 days a week. My partner also lives with me and he lives and works in the same building so is always around for walks/toilet breaks. We live in a flat, however we have access to many local walks and fields for walks and toilet breaks. A lot of our weekends are spent going on walks down the beach/through the forest so are very willing to bring along dogs that are happy and comfortable to do so. If they are we are happy to adjust plans accordingly.

I am a very active person, so I am always excited for long walks and engaging playtime. I am also happy to help with essential grooming, such as brushing and safe nail trimming. I am currently not working, which means I have a completely flexible schedule and can dedicate all my free time to your pet. About: I've always had & looked after dogs. I'm my friends first port of call for looking after there furry ones as they know they will be looked after very well. Would be happy to dog sit/board and walks if needed. Times and day will vary but most weekends are fully free from Thursdays until Sunday Even and morning walks are also avalible I have a spacious maisonette with access to my garden, also The flitch way where you dog can be walked for miles if needed. We can host multiple dogs in our house at the same time and deliver whatever needs and expectations you have for your pet. At our home we have a fenced garden and lots of places to roam within the house. Pets are allowed on the furniture and beds. I want them to feel as if they were at home. I have two Yorkshire terriers, Bonnie and Chester. Chester loves other dogs and wants to be friends with everyone, Bonnie is more reserved and can be quite nervous at times but adapts quickly. I am easily able to keep all dogs separate if requested. In our house we are always playing or having cuddles with our dogs, we love taking them for long walks and giving them the exercise they need.

About: I grew up with dogs, and have a sweet, energetic and friendly dog, called Boo-Boo. We regularly have play dates and every day we have long off lead walks on the fields or in the forest. We also have three big parks just a few minutes away, so we go out to play with other doggies and chase balls. I offer 2 long walks a day (45 minutes +), plus tonnes of playtime at home, so perfect for energetic doggies. If your pooch however needs less exercise, no problem, we'd be happy to adjust to needs, just let me know. I work from home Monday to Friday. Our walks: Mornings: we go for a walk for about 60 minutes before work. Off lead on the fields and forest to burn off energy. Lunch time: 20 minutes run and play in the park. (Weather and work dependent) Evening: another longer, about 60 minutes or longer walk or play in the park. During winter months when it gets dark fast, we go on a road walk on lead. If your dog need less exercise, we can skip one or two of the walks. I’m flexible. During the day, while I’m working, your dog can chill in the daybed next to me, or play with my dog. In the evening after walk and dinner we chill together in the living room. Having a young dog myself, I know how precious they are, and well aware not to leave anything harmful within reach. Safety is #1. Your dog will feel home away from home. I’ve looked after a few guest doggies already, and they all were very happy and loved being with us. They all became returning customers. I also send you daily updates, pictures and videos for your piece of mind.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have many years experience caring for them.
