I take our dog Bruce for a good long walk in the morning and afternoon/evening, and enjoy going to lots of different places to keep him stimulated. He had a lot of energy and loves to play, but also loves his snoozing routine. Your little one welcome to join us as Bruce loves to have company!

I am qualified in Advanced Pet First Aid Level 3, so should there be any emergencies, you furry loved one will be in good hands. Your dog would be treated like our own. They can enjoy some interesting walks to wear them out followed by a cosy sofa snuggle. Bruce prefers to bury under a blanket in a sunny spot! Happy to have doggos stay overnight. Bruce sleeps downstairs on the sofa in the back sun room. I have a step son who spends half the week with us. He is very dog savvy and has always had dogs in his life. He loves zooming around on walks as much as the dog does! I also have a ginger cat, who is used to dogs and often playing tag with our dog around the house. He is used to dogs who chase and is smart enough to keep himself out of the way when he’s in his ‘superior cat mode’!

Let me know if there’s anything specific your dog needs. For example how are they with recall, are they good to walk on lead, reactive to other dogs etc. I will try to make them as happy as possible, as they are bound to miss their humans!
A typical day
We like to go on two different walks a day so that Bruce (and I) don’t get bored. We’ve found some lovely fields and forests that we regularly visit. We have a lovely garden they can explore and relax in. Bruce loves to play, so if they are willing, he has lots of toys to share and play with!

I’ve had cats and dogs all my life. I’ve also cared for horses in previous jobs. They are part of the family ❤️ I have never liked the idea of kennels and prefer to use pet sitters if friends or family aren’t available to help.

We couldn’t recommend Brucey’s Buddies more! Our original boarding plans fell through at the last minute, and Rebecca was able to look after our puppy on very short notice. We hadn’t met beforehand, so we were understandably a bit nervous about leaving him with someone new, but Rebecca made us feel comfortable and reassured from the very beginning. She kept us updated throughout his stay with photos and messages, which really put our minds at ease and showed us he was having a great time. What really stood out was how much she genuinely cared. As he’s still a puppy, he struggled to settle on his first night, and Rebecca even slept on the couch beside him to help him feel more comfortable. That level of care meant so much to us. We’re so glad we chose Brucey’s Buddies and wouldn’t hesitate to leave our puppy with Rebecca again. If you’re looking for someone who will take great care of your dog, we highly recommend them.
I would highly recommend Rebecca for your pet sitting needs. She gave us great peace of mind with her daily updates. We came home to 2 happy healthy kitties. Highly responsive and proactive.

Rebecca is a wonderful sitter. She really made us and Jessie feel at ease and we had no hesitation in leaving Jessie in her care. Rebecca sent a video and pictures of Jessie on a walk and we could see that Jessie was extremely happy. We would have no hesitation in using Rebecca again.
