“We had a great experience with Sian during her drop-in visit for our two dogs, Conrad and CJ. Communication was excellent throughout, which we really appreciated! CJ can be a bit grumpy at times, and Sian handled it perfectly by just giving him space and letting him be 😁Conrad, on the other hand, was thrilled to have a new friend and clearly enjoyed the visit!☺️ Thank you again, Sian, for taking such good care of them, we’d happily book again! “Chelsea was amazing at taking care of my kitten, Mila. She sent photos and videos everyday and spent time playing with her. I would happily recommend Chelsea and will definitely ask her to cat sit again.”

About: I’m a huge animal lover and currently own a very friendly 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel as well as two rabbits, so I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring to look after your pets. I have previous experience dog, cat and rabbit sitting for family and friends and always treat every animal as if they were my own. I’ve always had a deep compassion for animals, and their wellbeing is always my top priority. My dog is extremely gentle and friendly with both dogs and rabbits, and I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs. I also understand how reassuring updates are for owners, so I always send plenty of photos and messages while you’re away. I’m currently studying Digital Marketing at university, which has helped me become organised, reliable and communicative. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets and make them feel safe, loved and happy while you’re away 🐾 I currently work part-time alongside studying Digital Marketing at university, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets. If I’m not home, my partner usually is, so pets are rarely left alone for long periods. I’m available for walks, drop-ins and pet sitting throughout the week and weekends, and I always make sure pets get plenty of attention, care and exercise. I have a very friendly 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who gets along well with both dogs and rabbits. For safety and comfort, I only accept dogs that are friendly with other dogs. My own rabbits live outside in their own large secure fenced area, completely separate from visiting pets. If I care for rabbits in my home, they will always stay safely indoors. My dog is very gentle with rabbits, but if a rabbit is nervous or prefers space, I’m able to keep them fully separated to make sure they feel safe and comfortable at all times. Dogs in my care will receive at least two walks a day, lots of attention, playtime and regular photo updates for owners while they’re away 🐾

My border collie is anxious with new dogs I cannot offer boarding, but I am more than happy to offer to walk your furry friends or drop in for cuddles. I have a lot of experience with different temperaments and also working in a vets means I have dealt with tough situations and bigger breeds. I have had rescue dogs since I was 6, sharing responsibility till I was older. I have now got two rescue dogs one from Romania (husky cross) who has three legs so needs extra support with medication and walks, and a border collie who is full of energy but requires longer walks and can be aggressive to others, I have experience with aggressive furries too! I’m located near Hatfield forest (5 min drive) and the flitch way is backing on to my property so if you’re furry friend is worried in a car, I can also use the flitch way for enrichment filled walks. I have strong knowledge of behaviour issues and special food requirements, I am also confident to administrate medication, injection or oral. I have also trained both dogs I have now, so I’m more than happy to train or help alongside training schedules. I also have a range of dog fields near me, which are fully secure and include tons of enrichment and fun for your furry friends. Im currently working full time in a vet clinic as a patient care assistant. I have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off to look after your furries. I live right by Hatfield forest, meaning your pups will have enrichment filled walks! I’m experienced with all breeds and confident to assist with behavioural issues
About: I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life. My dog sitting journey started in 2018 and I haven’t looked back since. Initially it started when my friend needed someone to look after her rescue dog when she went away for the weekend, 6 years later and he’s a regular! I am quite flexible but sometimes my availability will work around my current work schedule. I have several days off in the week and every other weekend off. I will always do a visit prior to the start of the dog sit/check in visit - this is to ensure the care I offer is best suited for myself, you and your pet
About: The perfect location if you’re flying from Stansted Airport - only 10 minutes away! We are a pet sitting couple, so rest assured with us your dog will get double the attention, double the care and double the love! We have a lot of indoor and outdoor space that allows them to be very active everyday and we always enjoy a good long afternoon walk in the nature as well! Feel free to contact us and looking forward to hearing from you! We are currently working from home and we don’t have any restrictions. We are very flexible and can accommodate the needs of taking care of your pet. We have a big front and back garden. The house is fully fenced and our gate is always safely closed. If needed we could securely isolate certain areas in the property. We have a lovely dog house and a crate. We love cooking proper food for our dog but we will always follow your dietary guidelines. The house indoors is very spacious and we don’t have dangerous items laying around, so there is no danger.
About: With 32 years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats — including raising my own cheeky dachshund — I offer calm, loving care that feels just like home. I work full-time but have a flexible schedule, which means I can give pets the attention they need throughout the day — whether that’s morning walks, playtime, or evening cuddles. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay relaxed in their familiar environment. I follow their normal routine and give them lots of love, attention, and care while respecting your space as if it were my own.
“I cannot recommend Kiera enough! We booked Kiera through Cat in a Flat to look after our five cats for two whole weeks, and she was absolutely wonderful. From our very first communication, she was incredibly polite, kind, and professional, which immediately put my mind at ease for such a long trip. Taking care of five cats is no small task, but Kiera handled it perfectly. Every day, she sent me detailed updates and lovely photos, so I always knew my fur babies were safe and happy. She took care of all the essentials flawlessly—feeding them on schedule and keeping all the litter boxes completely spotless. What really stood out to me was how she went above and beyond. A couple of times, my cats had little accidents, and Kiera kindly cleaned up the vomit and mess without a single complaint. She is truly dedicated to the well-being of the pets she watches. As a wonderful bonus, she even stepped in to feed our fish! I also really appreciated how comfortable and understanding she was regarding our home security. We have several cameras installed for safety (on the outside corner of the house, the front door, the garden fence, as well as inside the living room and nursery). Some sitters might find that intimidating, but it didn't bother Kiera at all, which just proves how transparent, trustworthy, and professional she is. Kiera is a very sweet, reliable, and hardworking sitter. Her messages were always so polite and a joy to read. If you are looking for someone who will treat your home and pets with the utmost care and respect, Kiera is the perfect choice. I will definitely be booking her again! 5/5 stars! 🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈”

“Maya came to look after my 3 dogs 1 being a puppy, they were all well looked after and I came home to a clean and tidy house, 3 happy dogs and was well informed throughout the day, I will not hesitate to use her again. Thank you for all your help.”

About: I have owned cats all my life and have been cat sitting for a number of years for friends and relatives. I have also walked dogs and looked after them for family whenever they need. I’m currently working full time however I’m available in the afternoons/evenings during the week days and I am available all times throughout the weekends to look after your furry friends! I would ensure that when visiting a customers house the cat/dog is comfortable around me and will ensure they get lots of cuddles attention and walks. I would not let any animal out of my sight, unless the cats have a cat flap.
“Thank you Annie for stopping in at short notice to give Kai a run around and lots of fun playing! The updates you sent were great and we’d happily recommend you or have you look after Kai again!”

“Gaby was amazing with our puppy Dottie. She made the effort to come and meet Dottie before hand making sure we were all comfortable and then sent updates during Dot’s time with her! Dottie loved Gaby and we felt reassured knowing she was in safe hands. We will definitely use Gaby again! ❤️”

About: Any pet in my care is always treated with the love and attention as if it were my own. I have a love of animals and have always had them in the home from a very young age. I've had experience walking both larger and smaller dogs and have had to train them through the difficult "puppy phase", giving me a good sense of how best to deal with tricky situations Im not able to have a pet of my own at the moment, so when I am able to, I love to spend time looking after other people's furbabies to give them the extra bit of love they all deserve. As I will be in your pets own environment, I would be keeping them safe whilst they enjoy their own comforts. When we go out for walks, dogs will always be kept on the lead and under supervision unless you have any specific instructions to better suit your pups needs
“Looked after fudge well and followed instructions and gave me daily updates. Reliable and trustworthy, really helped me out when I was desperately in need of someone to look after her.”

About: I am a loyal, trustworthy, and deeply animal-loving person who has always felt happiest when surrounded by pets. Growing up, I was constantly drawn to animals, and caring for them has never felt like a chore—it’s something that comes naturally to me. I have pets of my own, so I truly understand the responsibility, patience, and love that goes into keeping animals happy, healthy, and safe. Being a pet owner has taught me how important routine, attention, and affection are in an animal’s life. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to become a pet sitter and dog walker because I genuinely love being around animals of all kinds. Spending time with them brings me joy, and I take pride in making them feel comfortable and secure, especially when their owners are away. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I am committed to providing the same level of love and dedication that I give to my own pets. My passion for animal care motivates me every day. I am attentive to details, patient with different personalities, and always focused on each pet’s well-being. Becoming a pet sitter isn’t just a job for me—it’s an opportunity to turn my love for animals into meaningful work where I can make a positive difference in their lives. Pet care is a big part of my daily life, and I organise my schedule around the pets I’m looking after. 🐾 I make sure I have plenty of time for each pet so visits and walks never feel rushed. I’m flexible wherever possible and will work with you to keep your pet’s normal routine consistent, whether that’s feeding times, walks, medication or simply their favourite cuddle time! 💚 I provide loving, personalised care while keeping your pet happy and comfortable in their familiar surroundings. 🐾 I follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, walks, playtime, cuddles and medication where required. Every pet is different, so their care is tailored to their individual needs and personality. I’ll also send you regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy and receiving plenty of love and attention while you’re away. 💚

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
